Okay, so the Art Trade for :iconbahamut357: will be a Christmas present. Officially. Um...so far only two people have asked me questions on my poll. So if more people could get on that, I would like that. I love trying to answer them. As for the answers to those, here they are.

1. "When (or if) you ever get a chance to do a realistic kinda vector, would you keep your WIP's and kinda give a walkthrough on how you got there?"

Yes, I would if people wanted to see it. I don't usually show that because I usually sit down and do it all at once and because I didn't know if anyone would like to see them. I'm planning to do realistic vectors in the future, but we'll see how that goes.

2. "How many push-ups can you do in a minute?!?"

I actually don't know...never tried. However, at school we do fitness tests in gym and, though it doesn't count time, it makes you do them at the proper speed to actually strengthen your muscles. I was able to complete 25 before I felt like I was about to strain myself too far.

Now as for my new idea, I know about the 100 themes contest that everyone does, and I decided to modify it a bit. It will still be 100, but they will be anything ranging from vectors to sketches to photomanips, which I'm about to start doing. Also, instead of being random themes, each one will somehow reflect a song. The title of each pic will be the title of the song and the description box will have a little write up including the artist and what the song's about.

The only other thing I have to say is:

My great-grandfather was a WWII vetran, my cousin is training with the army, I have a few friends in army cadets and my mom's boyfriend's brother is in army reserves. So this is a big day for me. I hope you will all hold to spirit and remember all those who died in the wars, and even all those who fought. On Nov 11th, wear the poppy guys. And if you can, join me in this. Hey guys. Well it's that weekend again and I decided I wanted to write something nice, share a few stories to really bring about the spirit of this holiday.

1. I was at my dad's house on saturday and we had a great time. On sunday, Skye was going to come sleep over but we had no room and her mom isn't comfortable with my mom's bf. So, both of us were extremely down. About 15 minutes later, she called back saying that her grandmother, who was having 12 extra people at her house that night, was willing to let me stay the night with her. The kindness that some people share really does amaze me.

2. Another story about kindness, but this one's not mine. At We Day we met a guy named Spencer West who has no bottom half. He was in Kenya building a school and they had to go up this hill, shaking hands with all the community members that were lined up. He was finding it difficult to do that while in the wheelchair. He felt something grab the back of the chair and looked behind him to see a little 6 year old boy who had grabbed on and was pushing him. By the time he reached the top there were 5 boys helping him up that hill.

Now, I wanted to make a list of things I'm thankful for. I'll keep it short at 10 things.

1. I am thankful to have life and to be healthy.

2. I am thankful for my family who is there to shelter me and love me.

3. I am thankful for my friends. I could not be who I am today without them.

4. I am thankful for the church which has helped me to constantly better myself.

5. I am thankful for all the opportunities that I have in life.

6. I am thankful to be able to help others when they need it.

7. I am thankful for having a strong will so I don't fall into things because of other people.

8. I am thankful for having the chance to raise, protect and teach my siblings.

9. I am thankful for my education which has helped me in many aspects of life.

10. I am thankful for this planet and all the people in it, whether they make mistakes or not and the concept of forgiveness.

So I would like to know, what are you thankful for right now? For home and family? For toys and games? I encourage you all to share your thoughts and opinions with me, because the more you express a love, the stronger it grows and the more you can appreciate it.

Wow! That was an adventure and a half!

I went to the Alliance Against Violence concert! We got to see the mayor, two different breakdancing crews, first seperately then competing. We also saw two girls sing, a guy on youtube by the name of Suspect rapping (he's awesome, go look it up!) and a few people reading poems/telling their stories. Finally, Danny Fernandes finished off the night. Truthfully, half the reason I go is for his background dancer Mark. If you ever watch him live, and maybe in his vids but I'm not sure, it's the thinner of the two dancers and at the moment he has longer hair.

I went to :iconflaringfox:'s sweet 16 with :iconbahamut357:! Seriously, with the 8 or 9 of us that were there, all we needed was root beer, manga and a nintendo 64. Everyone was very fun and happy!

Down in Toronto for Me to We prep with :iconanimeaddictedkid:. It's a Free The Children event and it's in it's 3rd year running. I met up with a girl I hadn't seen in 7 years. Also, when we came back around 7 30, we had to stop back at my house because my mom finally had her baby! Chantelle Helena Esme Sonier. I've posted a pic of her, but you'll have to forgive the quality.[link] Our camera broke so it's a webcam pic. She was 7'11 and 21 inches long. Soooo cute!

The actual Me to We event! :iconanimeaddictedkid: and I woke up at 4 am, was there by 6 15. People started arriving at 7 ish. We had to volunteer for 3-ish hours, then we were told to be seat fillers. Pretty much, we sat in the actual concert area until other people got back. The cool part was that Justin Bieber played One Time acoustic and we were not even 5 feet from him. Then we went back into the concert later. We got to hear from Elie Wiesel (Holocaust survivor and author of Night) as well as Robert F Kennedy Jr, Mark and Craig Kielburger, Spencer West and many others as Ben Mulrony hosted. Also playing music were Louise Kent, The Jonas Brothers and Hedley!

So, there's my psycho crazy I'm-going-to-lose-my-voice weekend!

I've been holding off on personal projects, thinking I'm about to get something to do, and nothing comes.

Alright, so since no one really replied to the last journal (except :iconranagol:), I figured I had to decide by myself with the help of family and close-by friends. Well, here goes nothing.

I am officially going to be accepting commissions, art trades AND requests, depending on what you're willing to give. Until further notice, these will remain open. Requests and art trades can pretty much be whatever you like.

I will not be doing anything such as yaoi or people dressed in certain ways eg. a girl falling out of her top. What I can do if it's a specific character is change their outfit.

Okay, so according to the poll I left people would like me to do all three. Requests, art trades, and commissions. So I need opinions very much so and I need questions to be answered.

Firstly, with commissions, what would you like to see? I mean, I don't want to be doing vectors, but I could do sketches, coloured sketches or digitalize one of my own pictures. Also I was thinking $5 Canadian should be good. Um, the other question is what size would you buy for that amount? If people are to be buying these I will end up using photo paper. Finally, should I pay for shipping or should that be up to you, or maybe a compromise?

Secondly, I will also open art trades. I'm hoping that this can be used for people who don't nessecarily want/can't pay for commissions. This would be my other source of payment. Requests are if you're either too lazy or don't think i would like your own artwork, which you can always ask if you're nervous.

(Sorry if any of that sounded slightly rude...)

The money from commissions is going to Skye's sweet 16 birthday present because I'm in a tight situation right now and I really feel I have to do something special for her. By then, I will have known her for 12 years!

Wow. What an amazing night...I really can't believe it.

Myself along with :iconanimeaddictedkid:, :iconfreakychicken: and a bunch of others stayed at the school from 11am-11pm to raise money for cancer research. We had survivors come, a talent show, a fashion show and a cheer-off.

The most emotional part was the luminary ceremony. Whoever was able purchased a white paper bag to write on. They then lined them all around the track and put sand in the bottoms with candles. In the middle of the track, they made the luminaries spell "hope". They gave a little speech, had a moment of silence and then my friends and I walked the last hour of the Relay. We had over 300 kids participating. During the final hour, most people were crying and I became a support system for :iconanimeaddictedkid: and occasionally other people. We held hands with everyone else and sang for most of the last hour while walking and she knelt down by my luminary to say a prayer for her uncle.

My last lap around the track, one person carried our team flag and the two of us ran behind him. That final lap was for all those who never gave up and for all those who couldn't fight long enough.

On a side note I got completely exhausted and bruised my foot really bad. However...

I would not have spent my friday any other way.

I have one thing to say about putting on that costume. Ow.

See, I wore my mask firstly which I kept havig to chase on the last day. My keyblade kept hitting things and the keychain came off. Also, I wore a wig + wig cap which was really annoying. The worst part was the combat boots that were actually too big for me. Just...ow.

Now onto the good news, I was able to see :iconfreakychicken: :iconsecondhandfaith: :iconbudgie: and :iconqinni: there.
I was with :iconbahamut357: and :iconflaringfox: the whole time.

So what did I do there? Well, first we went shopping then went to the Kingdom Hearts panel which was hillarious! Saturday we didn't do much because I had to leave early to make it home for a play at 5, but we did go to the Naruto Cosplay Contest. Sunday however, we got autographs from Tara Platt and Yuri Lowenthal. Tara voices Temari in Naruto while Yuri voices Sasuke and Arnuad in Wild ARM's 4. Sadly, we missed Vic Mignona, the voice actor for Edward Elric from FMA, Suou Tamaki from Ouran, Vega from Street Fighter II, and Broly from DBZ.

Hopefully there will be pics up soon. Um, now as for what I was able to pick up, here's the list.

Also tomorrow I have a bake sale for Relay For Life which is a BIIIG thing for cancer research at my school and I already raised $177! After that is the Improv Night at school which I'm looking forward to attending. So, I've been hyper-spazz-tastic. XD

Other than that, sadly there's a giant leak in my basement so we have the water turned off. Not fun at all. :cry: I will be posting more soon, I'm just trying to deal with all the other stuff I have planned and find time to sit down and do work.

OH! On a side note, I would like to reccommend a manga to you all. However, it is 16+ for violence and multiple sexual jokes/scenes. No really horrible stuff, but it's there. It's called Psycho Buster. Let me know if you've read it or are planning to check it out.

Yes, you read the last one correctly. I have decided to draw some of my favourite NBC characters the same way I did Jack. Ones I will for sure do are Sally,Zero, Lock, Shock, Barrel and if anybody knows the name of the bat-child thing I think he's really cute too.

Also, who is going to Anime North? Anyone? My wig is on it's way so once it arrives I must style it. Then I have to finish little tidbits of my costume ex. sewing ends, drawing patterns, etc. The keyblades for :iconflaringfox:, :iconbahamut357: and myself should be made by May 7th at the latest, then once painted I'll take pics and post them up. Hopefully the three of us can get in a photoshoot before the con so I can post them as well.

As for the rest of my busy life I now babysit hopefully as many Fridays as possible and get $40 each time, on Wed I go to Zonta/Young Women's and don't get home until 9, Tues/Thurs I tutor a grade 4 boy in math and on Sun/Mon evenings I get piano lessons. Somehow I still have to find time for art, school and chores. This is stressful right now, but it's going to be fun and worth it in the end. I also just realized that by the end of high school, whether I tutor or not I will get over 100 community service hours! Man will that look good on my record. I'm only in grade 10, so bonus for me. I should have at least 93 by the end of this year.

I've been involved as much as I could for 8 years now! Why choose now to start bashing it and trying to deter me from this path? She tells me I can't go somewhere because it's a religious vacation spot for the members, yet she let me go to their camp. She tells me they've done bad things in the past, but hasn't every group? She says that I should research this, but I've been learning about it for so long! Three straight years I went every Sunday. If I don't know what it's about by now will I ever? If you have any advice on this, please share.

Now as for my birthday, I can't describe it in less than a rant.

So Skye suprises me and stays over the night before because she can't come to the party. Then her and the one person that loathes her actually got along! (his b-day present to me) We spent the first hour and a half waiting for food and initiating anyone new that came in by throwing a whale keychain at them and cracking jokes about each other. The whole party was Japanese themed, pink, green and black. So we had Chinese food for dinner then did presents. I got a lot of new accessories, money, books, gift cards, plushies and I even got a can of silly string which my party guests fell prey to. We went insane singing and dancing and being dorks the whole time.

There's my birthday party in a nutshell.

Then I watch Transformers in english class, compose music in Music with Computers and read in civics. Easy boring day. Mom usually goes insane with birthdays, so I'll probably get some crazy dinner and soon she's taking me for a haircut/manicure. I'm also dreading my facebook messages. I've already gotten one. The onslaught is tomorrow.

Then on Saturday I have my party which involves me and about 25 other people going insane with music, a real dinner (not just ordering pizza), cake and lots of desserts.

Whenever I have time I'll update this. Probably Monday or Tuesday.

Secondly, I need a mini-rant. So the guy I went out with for three days remains a good friend, but here's the problem. We would walk to school together every day, then he didn't come for a while because he was sick. He was back on the last week of school with a girlfriend, then she broke up with him on boxing day. Finally, we hang out the past two days and he tells me on msn yesterday that he's beginning to like me again apparently because I'm cute and he's lonely. Now he's decided to "find himself" seeing as he's always acting like he believes what anyone says about him and decided to avoid me until such feelings dissapate. What the hell is up with this? I swear, he's been acting for people so long he doesn't know who he is anymore! Gaahhh!!

Alright, I'm done. Please do take time to leave your opinion on my questions. I do take it into consideration when choosing what to post and how often to do it.

New Years wasn't spectacular, but it was fun. Skye and I went over to her friend's house and we sat from 11:00 am, December 31st until 4:00 pm, January 1st watching movies. I'm the only one that fell asleep for more than three hours. The only thing that bothered me other than sheer boredom was that while Skye cuddled with a guy she hadn't seen in two months, her other two friends were also boyfriend/girlfriend, so I was alone on the floor. She apologized though and thanked me for putting up with it.

Now I'm just dead tired and kind of emotional. After we got back from her friend's house, I cried, but I don't think I've got it all out yet. Sometimes, I need a whole day to just sit and cry, but I need something to set me off first. Seeing as that's not happening, it's just gonna stay there for a while. I'll be okay. Just need something to vent on.

First off, two weekend ago I got to go with Skye to Great Wolf Lodge in Niagara. It was amazing! First off, the hotel is like a giant log cabin on the outside. Secondly, when you open the front door, you hear wolves howling. Then directly in front is a giant cave shaped like a wolf head with a robotic moose on one side, bear on the other side and gopher behind it. There are also two trees, one with a raven and one with an owl.
On the side, there was a giant gingerbread house made of real gingerbread, seeing as it's near Christmas. Beside that was a huge tower against the wall made to look like stone with four ledges. The first had two raccoons, the second had a mother wolf and pup, the third had a teenage wolf looking up at the fourth ledge which held an alpha wolf. All are robots and the wolves occasionally howl.
The coolest thing about Great Wolf Lodge is that the hotel has an indoor water park! There's water slides, two hot tubs, a pool, a wave pool, and a giant splash pad where everyone gets soaked.

Now the second major update is that Christmas is well on the way. Four days and I'm off school until the 5th of January! I can't wait. It's going to be very different this year, with my parents split. Christmas eve will be spent at Mom's house, then we go to Dad's house on Christmas day for 3 nights. Not to mention, I might even get to go see Skye for a while! It's rare if i get to spend more than one day with her each time she visits, so going to her house for a few days is gonna be fun!

Okay, first if you're comparing it to the movie, it fails. However, if you look at it as a movie alone, it's AMAZING!

Here's some points I have. Bad first.

-Jasper only has two lines in the whole movie.
-Robert Pattinson's hairstyle was crap
-Kristen Stewart is practically monotone, but I hate Bella so that doesn't matter really.
-They took out the "Do I dazzle you?"
-some things they should have only hinted at were too obvious ex. the first day in biology when he's trying not to kill Bella

Now for the good stuff.

-Alice, Emmett and Jacob's characters are pitch perfect
-Robert Pattinson's slight hint of an accent is sexy
-The way they altered what happened still flowed really well
-They did the contacts really well
-Victoria had an amazing finale
-Bella's lullaby is gorgeous
-The Quileute boys were amazing
-Eric Yorkie was hilarious! and so was Tyler Crowley
-The sparkling wasn't overboard
-They added some really cool flashbacks
-Edward's stunt with the car was perfect
-They made her going to the book store make sense
-Rosalie is the witch she is suppossed to be
-Carlisle and Esme fit their parts well
-The jokes made by the Cullens are too good. "Italiano."
-The baseball scene was too much fun. Especially the collision of Edward and Emmett

Overall, the good outweighs the bad by a longshot. That movie was done extremely well and there is no doubt that I would love to see it again.

Lastly, if anyone's looking for a good book, try The Morganville Vampires series by Rachel Caine. Just finished the first book and it made me wanna scream. BEWARE. If you get the first book, have the second handy. The ending is death if you don't.

For those who are wondering and who actually read journals, I will be posting the rest of my story, just let me get around to it. It takes about an hour to type it up in here and double check for typos.

I do have a lot of school work to get around to, but that can be easily taken care of. I still will try and take requests for a while, but I've got three on the run and I will let people know, I don't always wanna do them. So don't kill me if it doesn't get done right away. I don't want it done, but it will be for you and for the experience of doing it.

So, there's my rant for the day. I realized I hadn't posted a journal in almost a month, so there it is. Hope you all enjoy what I have in store!

So here's my questions. First off, for those who have requested things, do you truthfully think i take too long to get it done, all things considering?

Secondly, do you know any really amazing artists that you would recommend to me? I like any kind of art pretty much. I'm not picky.

Thirdly, are there any animes or Disney movies you wold like to see pictures from? I love trying different styles and greatly enjoy a challenge.

Finally, I saw people doing this recently and wanted to try it. Is there anything about me you are curious about?

First off, my grandma just became a healthy diabetic, meaning she doesn't have to take mediation anymore! She's keeping her blood sugar level right just by the way she eats.

Second, I just went to pick up my report card, and was AMAZED!!! First off, i went from having all marks in the 70's to having three marks in the 80's and one 76! I also got a letter of recognition from the principal for having an 80 average and an Academic Award for Geography which is my least favourite subject!

This means, my parents are treating me to the new ice cream store near my house! And maybe I can convince them to get me new headphones....:)

I got 3 awards, one for coming to camp for the first time, one for being nice to everyone and one for having the cleanest cabin, but I think my BFF won us that award. One night, we went to another campsite to sleep in actual tents because we're fourth year girls. Our tent came halfway off the ground from the thunderstorm and lightning struck a few metres away, but thankfully didn't start a fire. Then on the last night, someone dressed up in this messed up animal suit and ran around chasing everyone. She scared one girl so bad that she slammed her cabin door shut and the glass in the door shattered. All the while, I was in my cabin, contemplating on what I could do with a chair and a pen if the person decided to break into my cabin.

I've finally finished my last request and I'm now working on vectoring my puffball series and anything else that seems interesting to try. I'm not gonna bother with my KH fanfic because no one seems to be reading it anyways. Instead I'll be posting up my REAL stories.

PS: Bahamut357 and Flaringfox, Ryan said he'll help us make our keyblades if he has time, but he has a better idea than just making them out of wood. He said a wood handle is enough, and he listed off other materials that will give the same effect with a lot less weight.

Yesterday I went to Wonderland. It was interesting with a 4 year old following me but it was fun. I took her on the Jimmmy Neutron Brainwasher and she loved the spinning. Didn't wanna stop. Then I was able to go on BEHEMOTH which was amazing!!! I was so scared but if I closed my eyes I would have regretted it. I also got to ride on Dropzone cuz my 11 yr old brother wanted to go. He loved the view at the top but he cried for about a minute and a half once he touched ground. Scared him, the poor little guy. We spent forever at the water park and I got myself flushed on Barracuda Blaster. The other really fun water ride was White Water Canyon. I had the "pleasure" of meeting the waterfall and only one of three cannons hit us.

Now, over the summer, DA may be neglected a bit. I'll be going to London, Ontario for a week at least to see my BFF. Then I also wanna go camping with flaringfox and of course i can't forget about bahamut357, rakka-teh-gothic, silenttearsx or threehoursbackx. They're my major chill buddies lol. And I may get the long-awaited experience of going to a Pow Wow. I treasure my partial native heritage. I'll also most likely be pre-ordering Breaking Dawn and convincing my parents to let me go to England. I still need a frickin passport.

Anyways, enough of a rant for now. I'll be leaving that info to sink in. Have a good summer everyone! And good luck at exams if that so applies to you.

I've only been on DeviantART for about 3 months, but I find the people here amazing! They're always so helpful and supportive! I will be getting my final request done ASAP but I have sooo many things to think about right now. Now, I would like to have more requests, if you have any ideas. Feel free to let me know. Along with them, I have two completed stories and one work in progress which I will also be posting up here. Keep in mind I am getting over a cold and I still have to deal with my Aunt's wedding , my father's birthday and easter all at once, all the while preparing and trying to make money for Anime North...all within the next...ohh....2 months.

Now I have a few questions which I would like answers to because, like i said, i am less than a month new to DA and i hate flipping through pages of instructions to find things.
1) How do you put emoticons IN responses and things instead of just choosing a mood?
2) How do you change what it says under your username on your profile...or can you?
3) How do you organize your posted work into categories?
4) How do you know how many people looked at your work/fullviewed it instead of favouriting it?

If those could be answered I would be very happy. And If anyone is curious to see what kind of work i can do, let me know what you would like to see and I will do my best. Thank you to all those who favourited my work or added me to their friends list!!
