Why am I a "Beggar"? I mean, I already have a subscription, shouldn't I be happy? No. The subscription has nothing to do with the reason I have joined the movement. I'm not going get into the full-blown arguement of the "Beggars" ^{_{(you can find that in the link above)}}, but I am going to share a short paragraph or two on the main reason I became a "Beggar"...

What I liked most about just plain old "Deviant" is that it unified everyone on the site. There was something significant to holding the title of "Deviant", it meant I was part of something bigger and better than myself.

Now it's different, you are either a premium member or in "need" of a premium membership. There is no longer the sense of unity as was felt before.

Yes it's simple, but that's why, and now I ask... Are you a "Beggar"?

Kiriban and stuff

So I talked to a friend the other day, and I decided it's finally time for me to do a kiriban. I'm setting it for 15,000 pageviews. The first person who sends me a screenshot of that number will win a journal feature and a custom photomanipulation/fractal from me. I hope you'll go easy on me with the prize

I want to thank you all once again for the s and watches, it really means so so much to me!! Oh, and if you haven't noticed by now, I'm a stamp freak I don't add them to my journals often, don't worry And be ready for features next time.
And please dear God, I hope I didn't forget anything this time... Just anyone dare remind me I had promised something!

C&C Contest - Move It!

The theme:

Submit 1 to 3 comic pages sequencing an action scene.
By this we mean the focus is on movement, as opposed to talk or scenery. It can mean a fight scene, dance, sports,... insert your favorite physical activity here! Some examples:

The main element the judges will consider is how you make or keep it visually exciting. For instance, an unchanging shot or camera angle will kill the energy of the scene, so you'd have to vary them while keeping the sequence legible. Comics use plenty of tricks to make such scenes exciting, look to your favorite authors and show us what you've got!


The deadline:

All entries need to be submitted by August 31 at 23:59 PST. That's two whole months.

Format and medium:

Any that is compatible with sequential art, color or black and white, portrait or landscape, traditional or digital, etc. Just be smart and don't pick something that will really limit your living up to the contest idea, such as a 3-panel strip


Where to submit:

All entries must be entered into Contests > move it
Don't note us with your submissions, just make sure to enter them in the category above and we won't miss them.

I hope you're all doing great! I know I am, my school year is almost over. I still don't know my final grade in Geography, but I don't really care about it, to be honest. Hello everyone!!!

Guys, do you seriously have no other job but to fill my inbox?!? I wnet through ~400 deviations today... Currently, I have 190, but that'll change soon, I'm sure... I won't mention how many messages I have, but the journals are now more than 200...
Anyway, just wanted to let you know that I will MOST PROBABLY be gone for about 3 days next week. Need to go and see my eye doctor and do some excercises if needed. Oh, and I'll see my sis!!! Will be staying over at her place. ^{(Well, it's not hers actually, it's our grandma's, but oh well...)} I'll try and come on from her laptop And my birthday is coming up, woohoo!! I'll be 16 soon!!
