I uploaded several deviations and allowed the print version, but it has been ages since I first did it and now one of those "old" fractals has been "approved" and is now available for sale.

I will be teaching 3rd Grade next year. Even though I've known for a couple of days now, my Principal announced it to the Staff and Faculty today at our End Of School Year Meeting...

I am happy and nervous. It's the first year kiddos take the Standardized Tests and it's always a big deal to them. Also, my School got the District Recognition for this year Performance and I hope I can meet everybody's expectations for the coming year.

As many of you know, I am an Elementary Teacher. Well, the Field Day is coming and our P.E. Teacher always have this great theme for all of us to make banners and dress up for the occasion. This year it would be Pirates Of The Caribbean!

To give you an idea, last year theme was Blast From The Past, and we all came up with different ideas, my grade level made a school bus resembling the Yellow Submarine from the 70's; Kinder made some hippie peace signs and dressed up with hair bands and face painting; and the great 5th grade level came up with a banner quoting the GEICO Advertising, It's so easy a caveman can do it, showing some cavemen bringing down a mammoth (tests).

This year I want to mix education with pirate talk... but I am struggling on how to word it or what to say...
I am open to suggestions even for the banner... I thought of making a Treasure Map with the school's layout and I am still -blah- on the treasure itself...

Any ideas? Shoot!

I uploaded one of my fractals to the mobile wallpapers, to see the process, and look what it says at the bottom, right before you hit submit and in standard size font:

Do not upload copyrighted material for which you don't own the rights or have permission from the owner.

That should be enough for these thieves to stop their nasty work!

I had a great First Day Of School today! My students are amazingly bright and well behaved for the most part. There is always one or two that are difficult, but nothing to worry about, at least it seems so!!

It was a bit hectic some times, but that's normal with materials coming in and meeting the schedule!!

I am just so glad I have this beautiful group of students!

Well, now that I can actually do a proper feature with images in my journal, I thought of all the possibilities...

Well, I could feature my friends and family....
I could feature my favorite fractalists...
I could even devote this to my favorite photographers....

First, I am leaving the nepotism for last!

Then, I figured I love fractals and photos because that's what I do, so I have soooooo many favorites and I've faved them before, which doesn't mean I will not now that I can add thumbnails to my journal, it just means that they will wait for a later feature.
That left me with the next -of many other- possibilities... I am featuring some of my favorite visual art, that is either drawn by hand or in a computer! Things that I would love to be able to do myself, but that seem impossible to my eye!!!

I opened my dA today to find a grey ugly window on my screen... at first I thought it was dA under maintenance kinda thing, but then I read closely.... Congratulations you are subscribed

What? I really didn't understand what had happened and I had a hard time finding my way out of that screen to be able to read my messages!
When I finally opened the message window I had, right in front of my eyes, a message from *LordShenlong, congratulating me on winning his Dreamcatcher Contest!!
