So just uploaded an artists copy I did of a Guy McKinley piece. Like I've said in the artist description, no clue at all what's actually going on, I just thought it looked good and would keep me busy.

Also plonked tones of work into scraps, just because I don't like it.

Not really put myself out for art this year, since I don't have the time, so anything I upload will most probably be classwork. Unless anyone has any ideas of something I could do?

On a closer to home note, I feel crap. Got a cold and a sore throat. :s I'll just fill myself with Cherry coke tommorow. That seems to sooth.

Well I did that Revan pic, however on second glance, it's not nearly as good as I hoped. So I've started another picture for my Comic team character, now that is better than the Revan one.

Andy, when are you gunna start that comic team thing : ) you're weeks overdue.

Anyway, Viva La Vida and Metal Gear Solid are out tommorow Cannot wait, gunna cruise down and buy it, then sneak dat shit home and play.

I'm trying some digipainting so keep watching to see how that turns out. In the meanwhile I have a filler (who said only comics could have them) of an MSN drawing of a Tauren Marine (for those that remember Blizzard's April Fools Joke).

One month on from getting contacts and I can't tell im wearing them most of the time.

I'm waiting on Andy with his group comic, that should inspire me to do some art . I already know what theme he's picked so I should really make a character now before he sets it all up this weekend. Meh I'll get round to it.

The first half of my Art exam is over, I'll post a photo of my work so far and stick it in my scraps. So far it's going pretty good.

I also got my contacts. I'm not wearing them now because I don't see the point so I've just put my glasses on.

Anyway, the school prom was last night and it was awesome. We managed to Rick Roll everyone to begin with. And we rigged the Prom King and Queen vote. I also lost my voice towards the end of the night. Luckily the Vodka(hate you andy for drinking it all) brought it back .

I top my hat to for holding his drink so well. Too bad he had to ruin it by drinking half of that 50% shit and taking a nap on the curb.

Well my latest deviation is up of Hellboy for my art prep work.

Seeing as my Highschool education is nearly over, I need to haul my arse into gear. Espcially art.

The fineliner black and white thing I did on my hellboy picture has influenced my entire project. At the moment I'm doing 9 compositions of which 3 will be apart of my final exam piece.

To do them I'm gunna take pictures of me posing with a wooden sword for help. (I'll Upload them on Myspace so you can see how much of a prat I look).
I'll also upload the 9 compositions when i get them done.

I'm also going to give and a hand with their site. It should be a cool project.

The journal was longer but I accidently ctrl+backspaced and lost it all D:. Atleast the criteria is the same.

However I'm gunna put that on hold because of that square enix competition.

Now to be fair, I'm not a square enix fan, I don't really play their games. Also I dont own a DS so i wont ever get to play their new game. However Europeans don't get the game, we get a cash prize and everyone gets 6 months subscription. So I can't see why I can't give it a shot.

I don't actually know what people expect from a Square Enix character though, I can reckognise one of their characters but how can I make my own. Luckily I know tones of Fanbois. So I need their powers.

Andy is going to do it too. I can imagine Uoza92 and Zrwachs giving it a try too.

Newest Deviation is up. It's my version of "The great wave off Kanagawa" and It's for my Art GCSE course.

I got Rainbow Six although I havn't played on it for a week. Been doing 25 man Raids in World of warcraft ><. I also went out to get a suit the other day for our school Prom. I look quite good in it tbh.

April Fools tommorow and I wonder if Deviant Art will do anything to trick us.

Anyway, I got Rainbow Six: vagas 2 on thursday which is awesome. I've not completed the campain yet as I'm waiting for to catch up so we can Co-Op the nevada deasert level.

I've also been playing some more free WoW with and . Just been pwning some horde, crap like that really.

My Clone picture is now the my most favourated picture which makes a change to the two minute bubble pixel that was my most favourated before.

Now I'm off to stuff my face with chocolate and see if Ben-hur is on later .

As I'm tying is hyped up on redbull. It gave him Wiings and now he's on a high. (see what I did there?).

So to start off with, my Clone trooper Devation is now available to buy as print (not that anyone who reads this will buy it). Also my newest devation; Against a wall, is also available for print because 1) I can and 2) Shits and giggles.

I havn't done as many Deviations as I'd have liked this month but nether the less, I think my quality of work is becoming more consistant.

Onto real life. We've started our Art Exam today and me and have picked Japan art which basically gives me an excuse to do Manga/anime for my exam (wahay!)

has given us a sneak peak at his current project which I can't wait for and made an epic tutorial which is on my favourates if you want to check that out.

I'm gunna try and get something new up by the weekend. If not it'll because I'm, playing Rainbow Six Vagas 2.

Well my art coursework is in for tommorow D: and even though all my work is done, I have a few presentational issues such glueing stuff down onto card or adding captions to my work.

Just did a clone wars cartoon and so far it's probably the best thing on my Deviant Art page so it's now in my featured DA slot.

Anyway, while I was also buying UT 3, me and Andy bought some of those Pens i've been fagging on about for a while now. So when I get my homework done today and Andy is having a go on UT3, I'm gunna give it a go doing the linework on paper.
The tricky bit is going to be the scanner settings but I imagine there's a tutorial for that somewhere.

Well nothing much to report from the Holidays.

I got 1000/1000 on Assassin's Creed. And 4blan had the most epic topic ever last night. So awesome we made a whole new board (/F) for it. [link] if you want to see it.

Onto Art. So I thought I got my Mental Block out of the way. But I havn't. And I think it's because I can't bring myself to do anything because it'll look crap. I havn't Pixeled in 4 months and I fear I've lost my skills there. Drawing directly onto Photoshop with a tablet appears fail for me and I think using the Pen tool to ink gives lines that are too thick. I'm just gunna go buy some fine liners and do my line work that way.

So untill I can be arsed to go to Sainsbury's, I might do some sketches. Although I don't know what to sketch . Just give me Ideas and I'll try and do them (chibi fan-art plez).

In the mean while, Yoda and Darth Vader will be appearing in Soul Calibur IV. Yoda for the X-box and Vader for the PS3. I think that them being in it is abit out of genre if you ask me. And won't a lightsaber just cut through anything they have? I seriously doubt they all have Vibroblades.

Also I've got alot of my coursework at home for over the holidays so I might skim through it to see if there's anything I could scan in and post.

Oh yeah, and ofcourse it's pancake day so yum yum. But also it's Super Tuesday. So we should all be really really super to each other.

So onto more Arty news, I, like my dear brother, am going to read some tutorials and practice on my comic drawing skills.

Because it's quicker, I'm gunna buy myself a tub of black pens and do the line work directly over the pencil work rather than going over it on the computer. I've read some brilliant tutorials including one website called "How not to do a webcomic". It's hillarious and you get an idea of what people don't like to see in a comic strip. And suffice to say, I agree with them.

Well today PE wasn't one for two reasons, one the pitch was water logged, second of all being in the class for people who couldn't give two fucks for personal health, It wasn't mandatory for me to do Dodgeball (Oh god we've americanised so much).

So anyway, we got into a computer room to spend the time which was good for lulz as always.

Apart from checking the stock market for out PE teacher (why?) me and managed to have an hillarious convo on my Deviant Art parent page.

To be honest we went abit too far with our jokes so I've hidden the convo. But was good for the lulz.

So I've only done 1 of the several Avatars i've ment to have done. However this weekend I need to do some Art Homework so expect to see that up on here

I don't normally set New Year resolutions. I think they show a certain self lothing about a person. However this year I'm going to set one and it's to get good with that graphics tablet and start that comic with and . Spelling and the presentation of my writing will not be going on that list.

To say those pictures I've been doing the past couple of days were only practice. Some peeps want me to make them some because they work pretty well as Display Pictures. So that'll be my next thing.

Also needs to do a 2008 calander.

On a positive note, I'm gunna try and get a graphics tablet for christmas which means I can finally start doing comics where the linework dosn't look all messy .

At the moment I'm reading the new Alex Rider book "Snakehead". It's an easy read but so far an enjoyable book. Unlike previous ones it gets into the action alot quicker.

Which the introduction of "Ash" the book strangely seems like a cross between Harry Potter and Metal Gear Solid.
