Welcome to the fifth competition. The task this time is to create a header logo for the club's journal.

The logo should feature the words 'Another-DigitalDream', 'Journal', or something along those lines.

The maximum WIDTH is 600 pixels. There is no maximum height.

To Submit

Simply submit the entry as a deviation or scrap, then note the club with a link to that deviation. Title the note 'Comp 5 entry', or something like that.

You have one week! Until Sunday, June 3, give or take a few hours for time differences.

Competition #3: Photomanips

For our third competition, I reckon it's time to do some photomanipulation. For this comp, I will give you a picture, and you must do your best to digitally manipulate it in the best, most appealing, and/or most humorous way you can think of.

The basic rules for this comp are:

- You are allowed to use as many other source images as you want, but they must all be on stock accounts on dA, as per dA's rules for photomanips. Also, you are allowed to use photographs or art that you have made or taken yourself as part of the manipulation.
- The manipulation must be done using Photoshop or another graphics editing program. All tools are allowed, including brushes. (whether they are from dA or not)
- While you can heavily manipulate the image as much as you want, please make sure that you can still see the original image in it. (i.e., don't brush over the whole image or insert another image right on top of it)

If you have any questions, just send the club a note and I'll deal with it.

Current News
So I don't have quite as many members as I expected, but that's ok. What would be GREATLY appreciated though is to join or put a link in your journal! Big thanks to those that already have. ^_^
Anyway, I'm in the middle of talking with some other people involved in dA clubs about setting up some competitions. So hold on, and expect some to come very soon. I had a small personal goal to get ten members before I would put any competitions up. But I may have to change that. I hope we get some more soon though! Please tell your friends or anyone you know who is interested in digital art.

In the meantime, read the small section below on submitting to the members' gallery to have your art featured here! I plan to post some news articles on the front page about contests and to feature some art here in the members' gallery, so if you submit, you'll get your art posted on the News page of dA!
I'm also working on updating the CSS a bit. This one is missing a few images, so I'll fix that or add a new one very soon.
