And what does dirt turn into when it rains for 3 days straight?? Lots and lots of mud. Now what does the dirt in a construction site involve?? can anyone tell me?? lots of dirt (obviously) and CLAY... So yeah at one point the steel toe boots that I was wearing looked like the platform shoes that the spice girls used to wear... I took a pic and everything!!
And the best part is that they weren't even my steel toe shoes... they were my dads... which means that they were about 3 sizes too big. Not fun clomping around in mud/clay mixture with too big, heavy shoes...lol

I was planning as going as a furry, but I don't have enough time at all for that idea... even tho it would be great!! My friend and I were gonna go all out and make latex ears that we put hair into and everything... but that would take like 5 days of straight work just for one ear and between the two jobs that I have and the school that I start in sep... yeah fat chance of that happening...
We were gonna mod the furrie idea so that I could go as puss in boots... but again... way too much work involved in that one...
So those two have been nicked off the list.
I was thinking of going with what I wanted to do last year... I have had on many occasions people tell me that I act and look like a pixie... However when my friend and I went to make these pixie costumes we ran into some very prepy girls at the fabric store who were going as faries, using the same pattern and fabrics that we were. So needless to say, we decided against that idea.
This time around I have enough time to make my own costume from a sketch that I have made and I cannot wait....

I was a dumb ass when it came to my lip piercing. Don't get me wrong, I love it and I am very glad that I got it. However now that that has been said.... I could not have gotten it at a worst time. I thought that my MRI was scheduled for 2 weeks after I got my lip pierced... which would mean that yes I would be changing it a bit too soon, but it would not cause any damage or anything. And the healing would have been far enough along that it wouldn't hurt too bad when changing it...
Now here is where the dumb ass part comes in... my mri was a week after not 2 weeks... i just wrote down the wrong date.... So I had to change my week old to much pain and swollen lips. I also made the leap into becomeing a vegitarian... to much happiness by one of my vegi friends... She is so happy to finally have someone eles who will eat vegi burgers and try all the vegi restaurants in town with her... lol. I have actualy started to crave vegi burgers... which I never thought possible... the first time I tried them... they weren' that great...

So yeah, working at a kiosk is interesting to say the least. Sometimes it is so boring that I would much rather be attempting to give myself a wax job than sit here. Cuz sometimes, just sometimes, there is nothing worth looking up on the net *gasp* and you just don't feel like drawing *double gasp*
So to help myself throught this current boring stint I have decided that I am going to write about my many wonderful experiences working at one of my many kiosk jobs...

One thing many people seem to think is that a kiosks are purposely placed every couple of feet so that you can get step by step instructions to the store you are looking for. This is, however, not true. You have to realize that kiosks are infact mini stores that sell products or information about products, not little mall information/mall directory booths... if you are looking for mall information/mall directory then look for the kiosk/map with the sign over it, NOT the one with the sign saying SHAW....
If you must ask the lady sitting at the SHAW kiosk (namely me) do not get mad at me because I do not know where the store you want is, or where you can go to buy a fricken phone card... because yes I work in the mall, and yes I have a general idea of where stores are and what they carry, but it is an IDEA...

Another thing is... why do people think that because I am in the middle of the mall means that I will listen to any complain that they have... even if it has nothing to do what so ever with Shaw.

I have also learned from experience at my other job that people seem to think that if your store took over the location of a diffrent store that you should offer the same services. We have people walking into EB Games, where we sell VIDEO GAMES, and going.... 'what happened to the compu smart?'...'they moved'.... 'why' ....'i don't know'.....'oh'.......
So far this is a valid conversation... then comes the fun part
'Can you fix my computer for me??'.... 'no'.... 'why not'....'cuz we don't do that here'...'why not, compu smart did'.....
you can see where this conversation went...

but now I just lost where I was going with this... (I had a customer... not a mall directory question... a ligit customer lol)
