Wanted to take AP Comparative Government and Politics. Went to see guidance counselor to see what summer reading books I had to do.
Turns out it isn't running.
So I have to take AP American Government and Politics.

This wouldn't be so much of a problem if a)I really don't have initiative to...care about my own political system and b)I like learning about other nations. It's fun and interesting, and not something you can do easy-peasy. It's easy to grab a book and brush up on your own country's politics; not so much with other nations.

I don't know why, but I'm embarrased to mention I lived in tx now. I used to be incredibly proud of it - the people were nice, the weather was great, etc etc. But now, when I saw "i'm from tx" people kind of - change views on you. "She's from the south, she's racist, she hates immigrants" etc etc. I end up saying i'm from tx in a downcast tone; there's no way to get around it.
