Paper for school: The online talk


I'm on my 3. semester in the line on university called "Information Science"
Every semester haves alteast 3 different exames, the next one for me being in the humaniora line. Since I've chosen the psycological effect of the internet on humans communication, I would be stupid not to use this ecsact thing to find out others feelings and views.

I have desided on the theme: "The online conversation" and are looking for litt. about the psyce behind it. Is it the same as having one, face to face? If not, whats the difference?
We all agree that the internet is great and a gift that makes us all "global".. but is there a darker side to it as well? Besides all the misuse and abuse of it? Does the internet communication do anything to us as humans and individuals?

I would treasure any response ^^ If you have more than just a comment your welcome to note me... This is somewhat a background research, before digging into the dusty books. I might need to interview a few "hardcore chatters" if any should have the time.

On another note ^^ I havent uploaded much for a long time. I started training Aikido for a month or so ago.. and have been completly busted after a long day in school and aikido most of the time... Only a matter of time, when I've gotten used to this program the uploading will start again =3 Have so many sketches I need to work on as well...

Farewel New York

I love to travel! I've been around the world this summer ^^ First a small trip in Denmark and later to New York. A great place.. last time I was in USA must have been about 10 years ago... sure havent changed much, but people on manhatten are much kinder and nicer than I remember. Noone is afraid to smile to a stranger.. and the openly flirting, just for fun? makes europians seem so stiff and boring ;3
To bad I didnt have time to go outside the city and see some american nature, but got the most of the few days in town... met up with Zimadonna and Sanoon whom both where ready for some big city adventures =D They showed Ravenpuff and I some great places! So nice to meet people from DA- thanx for some sweet times people! ^^



District 9

What.an.amazing.movie! Peter Jackson did it again! I'm always looking forward for his movies.. every time expecting something new and breathtaking. Now.. I'm the horror-action kinda gal so this was a thrilling experience! And he made it so new... its very hard and ugly.. didnt make anything look more pretty just for shows. Finaly.. a movie where I'm not in love with the bad guy..! ^^
For those who havent seen it yet- get your ass in gear! Its very symbolic... about the darkest and ugliest parts of human nature.. and have an amazing end...! Somehow I wanna go see it again :boogie: to make sure I got everything!


Havent been doing much serious art.. only been wasting time on tattoo doodling.. needed the energy and inspiration. But school'll begin very soon.. and I know myself well enougth to know I'll doodle well away in the classes ^^

Just got back from the job in Skagen, havent even unpacked before I started the computer... god, I missed it!! ^^ I'm sure it was very healthy to get away and out working hard, but so good to be back!



Trip to New York

And seems like my little sister has been busy while I've been gone.. we'll meet up with some fellow deviantdrones in New York, even tho the con was moved.. So glad I didnt have internet at the time they changed the plans.. I would have ranted on and on about it... I... was... mad... heh now I'm sure we'll have a great time in NY anyways ^^ and hope the con goes on great in canada-somewhere!

Things are a bit hectic in school... so much to read.. at this moment I'm starring at a huge pile of ancient books, partly covered in dust... and I even got them this way?! *sigh* No way to get around it.. we have a huge project to finish in May...

The last trip on the ship was a bit nostalgic since I made up my mind not to come back as a stewardes again... The company is strugling to keep it up, the finanse krisis have been over them for a while now.. They sacked half the danish crew and hired 50 polish workers to do the same job, but for less pay.. and they are even staying on the ship for a whole month at the time... and their union says okay for that? I just cant support that... and my little voice cant do much else but declair the goodbye ^^ not that they'll notice ^^

I really hope the company works it out- Theres alot of jobs at stake!

Arg.. =D So many changes on the ship since I've been gone... 1 frekking month and everything is upside down! >.o We cant have our own cabins, to many new recruits, we have dobbelt our numbers and there are a comlpetly new set of rules to follow, since the company itself is going downhill very fast.. They've made some emergency rules.
All my bosses have been fired and replaced and I am no longer a stewardess but at proviant assistent... well atleast I get paid the dobble! :w00t::w00t:

So glad I drew on the trainride to Copenhagen, I wont have much time out here... ^^ Made 3 pages of SaBC (Sooey and Bobby) chibi smeets =D

Aw and I've gotten meh a new toy ^^ A tablet!! Why did I have to get it 2 days before I had to go work on this wreck? XD Cant wait to get home..

Ah the smell of drama in the morning ^^ There is a rebelion going on, on the good ship Crown of Scandinavia.. all the sterwards and sterwardesses are going to pack up and leave the ship for good one of these days.. the ship cant, and most not, sail without them/us... its not going too well for the company and they keep cutting down on our working time and staff.. O.<

On top of that, I was stupid enought to get my finger caurgth in one of the fire doors under training and it HURTS!!! *wimper*

One other thing is.. apperently the hard work is paying of in other ways then money ^^ I have never been in a better shape =D A regular little she-hulk :XD:


I truely miss:

Stimulation! Mah.. brains.. melting... from stupidfying work....!
Plants! Oh to be in a garden right now... ^^

The last couple of days the weather have been absolutly beautiful in the waters between denmark and norway.. that kind of scenary that makes fantasy pictures of the nature seem... less... the clouds, the horisont.. yesterday we had a vertical rainbow.. just straight up in the air.. dissapearing in the blueness above us... *sigh* getting all dreamy ^^

Finaly back!! ^^ Already working on the next coloured piece.. a slow process since my hands hurts from the job on the ship.. been doing so the last week, so havent been drawing much... :aww:

Some days in the danish sun should improve that ^^

Still not sure if I should go back to the ship after this round... :yum: Not proud of being a quitter but have some other plans then cleaning after scandinavian and japaneese passengers... Heh you meet all sorts of different people on this job... and all sorts of silly questions!;

-When is the midnight buffet? *....How did you get onboard the ship?*
-Does this elevator go up or down?

I'm... loosing it pretty soon... I'm sure off...! *tics*

There is so much stress on the ahip for the time being... we need so many people, we have to do double work every day.. and 16 days of 12 hours a day is... mindblowing.. I need time to draw.. to even be myself! You wake up, you work, you eat, you sleep... wow... at the end of the day, you dont even notice if its storm or not.. your even too tired to be hungry... or... mayby todays just a bitch ^^

When I finaly get to sit with my papers and relax, my mind is just blank! Nothing... every inch of energy gets sucked out... Dont think I'll come back after this trip... tuff to admitt, caurse I thourgt I was all big and strong =D

To swallow pride leaves a sour taste >.< but I cant keep going like this... Cant even tjeck Da more than every second day.. I just forget... walks from dinner right into bed


Heh as you can read... I feel so amazingly sorry for mah self =D *cries ya a river* :giggle: nah its all my choise.. and I'm glad I did it.. even tree times ^^ and it payed of nicely... can relax for a month before I gotta go work any other job!

Scientificly... there is nothing truely original... its prooven that the brain cant make something up by itself... It takes small and different parts of what it allready knows and mix it up to something that seems new.. ^^ *and accuelly IS new, since.. if we follow this theory NEW dosnt exist.. so... I meen... eh... what?*
What I'm trying to say... was just some random scientific "something" ^^ I appologies

And I'm NOT sticking up for 'em thiefes!! Dont belive that! It was just... its kinda facinating... a little bit... ^^ isnt it? The science I meen...

But the thieft is kinda interesting as well... how.. do a person go on.. stealing a piece of original art.. post it on a different site.. and the rant about how she had difficultyes drawing this piece? The human mind is facinating! This is what others call complete disregaurd of moral and law... yet they "feel" they "need" to get some praise trough this piece of art... They need something...! They might just need someone to ensure them that their own original art is just as good as everybody elses? Low self asteem?

I'm to sleepy to rant... ^^ sorry! Just need to sit down for a moment and think of something else but the job... I'l go get some chocolate cake!!

Another idea is sketched up... might come in trouble for this one... ^^ It features a nazi symbol on a big bold white guy and a dark-skinned baby... I just got fed up with all those fights and troubles becaurse of the nazis in Denmark...! >.< Last a 16 year old boy got beaten to death on his paper-round, just becaurse... he was there... and he was coloured... =< I could... I have an idea for those kind of people... let them go to an ordinary courtroom.. if what they have done is grotesque enought, send them to "Jugde Aphiliens Courtroom"!!!

I... am... worn... out....!

Oh... so much >.< head... buzzing....!!

My first shift at the good ship Crown of Scandinavia ^^ Got my own cabin, with tv an even a window... thats luxus for a small newby stewardess like me =D *enjoyng big time*

At the very moment I set foot on the ship I was put to work ^^ First all the security rounds, then all the different uniforms (3-4 deppends on your rank^^) Then a cleaning job for some good hours... GET DOWN ON YOUR KNEES, SAILOR, AND MAKE THOSE KNOBS SHINE!!! So much metal to pulish >.o

Then a brilliant dinner and then back to work in the dinner area for passengers.. just until.. now ^^ (10 pm danish time)

Simply put; worn out! :giggle: but happy! Love the people I work with and we have all this (snacks, pool, sauna, puters, tv ect) to our pleasure =D

Even doodled... ^^ dont know how I got around to make a drawing?

I just discovered the Sideos charactor ^^ ...with all the novels and storys that goes with it... some good intertaining for this trip!

Aw... I'll drag myself into my cabin, put on some good scarry movie and draw a little bit... wont be more then half an hour before I'll pass out ^^

Just gotta job on the sea! Will be sailing between Cobenhagen and Oslo from friday on! Two weeks on the ship and then two weeks off at home... :w00t!:

Its gonna be hard work, I know... ^^ Have to work 14-16 hours a day, every day, for those two weeks... Dont think I'll be drawing as much as now, they say when you dont work- your'll sleep!

In all my luck, the ship has internet so guess I'll just be reading ALOT of fanfics insted! :library:
