Novels and novelas take a while to write so you'll probably only see snipettes of Esoteric Emissary and Day of the Black Sun. I have to sort out my ideas and such.

My drawing skills are still crap, but I am most certainly planning only posting them up so that you guys can give me some helpful critique.

Like I said, my skills aren't all that good, but I'll try to put up the comic versions of Esoteric Emissary and Day of the Black Sun. It'll help cure the writer's block.

When I upload pics, they are REALLY BIG so if anyone can reccommend a site where I can easily resize pics and edit them, please tell me. I also heard that you can download a trial version of Photoshop for free, but I don't know where to find it.

I've been trying to move along with my epic novel series "Esoteric Emissay" but I need the characters and locations to be...how do I put this...'correct'.

First Thing Is:

All the characters are from diverse backgrounds. I'm having trouble plotting out how that will effect the story. For example during the course of the story Hiro, who is Japanese, is supposed to hook up with Angela, who is Tanzanian (African).

I have no idea what the Japanese culture feels about interracial dating/marriage, so that's problem numero uno. And another character in the story is an well educated young Palestinian man.

I don't know much about Palestinian culture and I'd like for him to show it during the story.

Second Thing Is:

"Esoteric Emissary" takes place at various locations, many of which I only know a little about. The places being:

-Moscow, Russia (if you know please tell me in detail)
-Tokyo & Kyoto, Japan (in detail)
-Austrailia (in general)
-Brazil (in general)
-Los Angeles, California, USA (in detail)
-Texas, USA (in general)
-England (in detail, London especially)
-Mexico (in detail)

Third Thing Is:

I want to upload my art, but everytime I scan it, it comes up too large and I can only try to resize it in MS Paint (which has only worked for the Esoteric Emissary sketchs), and I do NOT have Photoshop or any other special editing program.

-One's crotch is not very low, no matter how baggy the pants are supposed to be.

-One's leg is not just straight down. There are also calves and thighs too.

-One's feet do not point opposite each other like in South Park, when standing one's feet are together.

-One has an ankle before their foot, it is not straight down.

-People vary in size, color, and shape. Not everyone look the same.

**Things I'm Learning About Art:**

-The Male Anatomy in all it's wonder

-How to draw the human profile (Male and Female)

-How to draw children (espcially babies) properly

-How to draw hands properly and doing different things

-How to draw people with different body types (ex. fit, average, fat, ect.)

-How to draw buildings and other architecture properly (My houses look like a square and a triangle like on Blue's Clues)

Excuse the language but I am soooo HAPPY! I just got a Deviant Art subscription, so I have all these priveledges and stuff. AND I can add pretty stuff to my journal like frz-dragon! YIPPEE! PLUS (Oh yes there's more) I might be getting Photoshop.......FOR FREE!! I'll have to wait until Christmas or something, but who cares! I haven't officially entered the DA world until I upload some art right? Well here's my problem: NO SCANNER!!! (It broke, long story)

And plus, all I have to work with are Crayola crayons and markers. But I've have recently just discovered this thing called Prisma Color. It's actually pretty good. Kind of pricy, but excellent none the less.

I also plan on getting Photoshop. I am not sure how to go about that, though. Do I download photoshop off the internet and pay for it? Or just purchase it at Circuit City or one of those stores?

You see, I'm kind off a n00b in the art department. And my work could use a lot of improvement. (If I ever get to upload them, I'll need and expert opinion)

And how the hell do I make my pictures GIF? I never understood how that works. Well if anyone can help, feel free. Led a helping hand to the newbie chick, will ya?
