You may have noticed that I haven't logged on in forever and a day, and I thought I should tell you that I'm leaving this account.


I'm not leaving dA, just moving.

It's just that I feel that the number of people that watch me is not at all proportionate to the quality of the art on my account, which in all honesty is not as good as I think I could be. I can honestly say that over half of my pageviews are from watchers of friends who aren't interested in what I have to draw. I know this sounds harsh, but I didn't feel that it was fair on the users who are amazing, yet have no watchers as they only draw OCs.

I'm just a little sick of people saying that my art is just cute and leaving it at that. I always ask for criticism, but I end up feeling that people don't really care.

So yeah D: I'm sorry. I'll still watch all my close friends, and you are very welcome to visit me on my new account.

I would like you to redesign my character(Wulfie)'s hair.

I am fed up with not being able to draw it =____= and it is too much like Ed's/Sasuke's/Kikyo's/the girl form that manga which is rather dodgy but the style is oh so awsome and I just can't remember the name of/you get the idea.

Rules:

1. I would quite like to keep her hair long (around waist length), but you are allowed to make it short if you really, really want.

2. Preferably the same colour as it is now, but you are very welcom to add streaks of other colours etc.

And I think that is it!

The prizes will be...


1st ~ A coloured picture and a pencil shaded picture

2nd ~ A pencil shaded picture

3rd ~ A sketch

I have been struggling for quite a while now to get to grips with my character, Wulfie.

Her hair hates me.

Loaths me.

I JUST CAN'T DRAW IT.

Which is really sad, seeing as I made it |P

At the moment it is basically a cross between Ed's, Sasuke's, and Kikyo's gone mad, with a bit of alien antennae thrown in for good measure.
It isn't pretty.

So I am thinking, should I hold a contest to design her hair? Would any of you enter, and what kind of prizes would you expect if you did?

I really, really, really, really, really want to improve my art, and I can't do that on my own. I get told by my friends that I am really good, and even though I know I am not great it makes me feel happy, but then I log on to DA or whatever and I see art that makes me want to chase my crappy "Skills" up a tree and leave them there forever.

So, I now want serious critiscism. Constructive, mind. I used to say this on all my art but gave up when nobody bothered. Everything that bugs you about my art, what you think is wrong, out of proportion or just unreal, just say. Please.

Today was alrighty. Nothing much happened in school, just the usual monday. My Mum is going to Wales for a funeral, so my Dad is left to look after me. Which is cool, but he is not here as he has to go to a con. thing which finishes at around midnight, so I am left on my own. But hey.
On the way home from school I stopped off at the book shop and brought, for the first time ever, a manga. It is called Crest of the Stars and was adapted from a book by Toshihiro Ono, the guy that made Pokemon into a manga. I may be just me, but I think his style has changed. Either that or it is the lack of cute fluffy things planning world domination.
I really enjoyed reading it. It is fun reading the wrong way round ^^
Has anyone else read it?
I have been doodling in my room for the past half hour. I tried to change my style from the norm, and I ended up with an okish picture. I may upload it, but I probably won't - the head is fine but i messed up the rest.
So, that is my evening.
