Location: Elysian Campus
Dates: September 6th to 19th

Event I: Opening Ceremonies

Event II: Chariot Race
-The schools’ take on the ever-popular mortal game, the three-legged race. Students pick their partner, and the two must act as one unit with two of their legs attached together. The goal of this game is to work together to pull a cart across the finish line first.

Event III: Labyrinth
-Elysian has had an old maze of tunnels under the school for some years now, and have finally been cleaned for use. Students who participate in this event are allowed to pick their teams of up to five students. They will then work together to navigate the various traps and the actual maze of the tunnels. The group who finishes in the fastest time will gain the win for their school.

Event IV: Scavenger Hunt
-In this event, all participants can either chose to work alone or in a team of up to six four students. These teams will all be given a list of clues which lead to members of the faculty from their particular school. Each faculty member will sign the list once the team finds them, and the first team back with all the signatures wins. This shows how well the students know their teachers, and may force students of different dorms to work together.

Set II
Location: Elysian Campus
Dates: September 20th to October 3rd

Event I: Capture the Flag
-The event is an all out war between the two schools, yet the basics of the game are the same. This is one of the few events that span both campuses. The Arcadium’s flag at it’s campus, and Elysian’s at theirs. Participants must defend their flag while trying to steal the other one from the opposing team. Participants can use their powers, but both grounds will be patrolled by staff members to keep people from being hurt.

Event II: Warrior’s Run
-Another variation on a mortal game. All students who participate select one member from each school to stand in the middle of a set field. These two will be known as the warriors. The rest of the participants must make it passed the warriors to the other side of the field, if they are caught they become a warrior as well. The Elysian warriors may try to stop the Arcadium warriors from tagging people, and non-warriors may try to get members of the opposite school tagged. This run across the field is repeated. After the time limit, the school who has the most non-warriors wins.

Event III: Cooking Challenge
-Elysian is a prominent part of the French countryside, and the area is known for its food. Thank you to all those who sent in notes. The lists are now updated, and have all the members who sent the note telling us they wished to stay. If we did not receive a note from you, you were removed from the club.

Again, that is not to say you can not apply again, but you will have to submit a note and application as before.

Please, if you sent a note, do check our lists and the gallery! We may have missed your note, or simply made a mistake. Make sure you are both in the gallery and on the dorm your character is in.

All new applicants, if you had sent an application in while we were reworking things and did not get an reply, send it again! We may have overlooked it with the Enrollment notes coming in, and be sure to title it correctly!

As you can see the new layout is almost complete. Arcadium is looking better than ever. And with a new event setting to start the first of September with our sister school *Elysian-Academy we are hoping to bring life back into this place.

We are open during the construction, if you are wondering. We welcome new and old members to join us in the chat or in submitting new art pieces.

However, we need to know those of you on the lists are still interested in this club. There will be no need to reapply if you are already accepted, nor any need to make a new sheet. But we do ask that those of you who are still interested send a note to the club titled "Enrollment" and include your character(s) name and dorm.

We only ask this because we want to know who our active members are, and essentially clean house. All those who do not send a note will be removed from our lists. That is not to say you may not reapply later, but your position will not be held.

All the lists will be updated and finalized at the end of the month before the new event, meaning you have until August 31st to submit this note to the club. This should give people plenty of time to see this notice and perhaps make up their mind if they choose to stay.

Of course, we'll be sad to see you go, but we are in dire need of people who will be involved with the club and participate in events. As you can tell with the last event, we seem to be lacking.

We are hoping to get a few new students and teachers as well! Arcadium welcomes you all.

This is your Adepts Headmaster, Matthew Eisen speaking on behalf of all of the headmasters.

As of late, you may have noticed the headmasters gathering in the grounds, if you yourself dare to take walks in the night.

All of us have begun to feel uneasy. We held off mentioning anything to you, the students, but have now decided it'd be best to tell you all of our worries.

There is a dark shadow falling over Arcadium. It's cold grips have reached me in my dreams, and I have seen visions of death, war, disease and famine coming to the school's grounds.

My unfortunate dreams were confirmed by Headmaster Samael, and as I'm sure most of you know... he is an Erlking. His destiny is to foresee the ending of the world, and while this is not it, he still feels smaller comings of evil.

Headmasters Persaud and Delphinium have also felt this dark shadow, and we have unanimously agreed that there is only one word for what this could be.

An apocalypse.

Please, do not be alarmed. You know that we as headmasters, and all of the professors of this school will do everything in their power to keep the student body safe. Contact your families if you feel unsafe, but we will also be asking the owner of Arcadium to visit us during this dark time.

We ask that you treat him with respect. He's a very powerful man and he will be adding more levels of protection to the school

We also ask that... if you see anything suspicious, that you tell a professor or one of the headmasters immediately. Suspicious activity could be student or professor alike in nature, whether it be certain activities, or if you feel uncertain about new students and professors. Please do not approach these people on your own, if you are uncertain about their disposition, tell a professor or headmaster right away.

Remember to keep a cool head, and soon I feel this dark cloud will pass.

And when it does, you all will have the Spring Masquerade to look forward to, as well as a Summer Trip to a destination yet unknown.

There are two sessions in each academic year, fall and spring. Keep in mind some courses may not be offered during some sessions.

If you enjoy making original characters, love fantasy and science fiction, and can’t get enough friends, then this is the place for you. Arcadium welcomes everyone.

- Each member is allowed two characters to start. This can be any combination of staff/teaching and student. If the Headmasters believe a person mature enough to handle more than two, they may be granted permission to create and use other characters. Do not assume you will be granted permission and design a sheet without first talking to one of the Headmasters. In your application include which Headmaster you spoke to.

- There are four distinct and different dorms your character can be a part of. Your character will be sorted by their abilities, not their species. Be sure to read up on all of them and chose which one you like best. If you have a question on where your character fits in, feel free to contact the club or one of the heads and we will be happy to assist.

- Each dorm is led by one of the Headmasters. All students are to respect their heads, and show great pride in their dorm. Students who show a remarkable amount of both are candidates for student prefect positions within their house. So, show your school pride by staying active around the club. Headmasters will always have their eyes out.

- There is almost no limitation to character-making. With so many possibilities, we ask that there not be an excessive amount of the same species. We will not limit you if there is already a club member who has the species you wanted so long as they are different enough. Please, there are plenty of options. If you see there is one to many of a certain species, try something else. We guarantee everyone will have more fun that way.

Headmasters

There are a total of four Headmasters in Arcadium. Each is responsible for one of the dorms here in the school. They will be keeping an eye out for troublemakers and praise-worthy students at all hours of the day. It is the heads of house that pick their dorm’s prefects.

Dorms

Arcadium is home to four lovely dorms. On the northern end of the campus, we have the Terrestrial Terrace, home to all those gifted with the Elemental Arts. Across the way on the southern end is the Hall of the Adepts, the dorm for those gifted with Attribute Arts. To the east, lies the Blessed Tower. This is the home of all those studying the Light Arts. And to the west, the House of Bane, where those perfecting their Dark Arts live.

Failure to follow any of these rules can result in your removal from the club. As well as following all of dA’s normal behavior rules, members must:

- Be kind and courteous to all other members. We will not tolerate harassment of any kind. This includes flaming of artwork. We understand if the character you roleplay is a jerk, but that does not call you take after them. If anyone sees this happening or has become a victim in any way, contact a head immediately.

- Stealing of any sort will obviously not be tolerated. Be unique enough in your character creation where there is no room for doubt he/she was not taken from somewhere else. This also goes to say, art theft of any sort will also not be tolerated. You are more than welcome to have someone draw your character for you, however, you must give them credit.

- If you are also in our sister club, *Elysian-Academy, you may not use the same character from there. These two clubs are joint in their efforts and exist together. And no, teleportation does not account for the fact you can be in two places at once. However, you may transfer from another school to here. You must show proof you are no longer a member of another club before your student can be accepted into Arcadium.

- Keep your character logical. As to what we mean by this, is simple. Do not give an excessive amount of power to your character, a few good abilities make them just as special as if they were a flame-breathing telekinetic who can pass through walls, fly and drink blood all at the same time. Remember, this is a school to develop one’s powers. So there should be no excessive amounts of control either. If we feel like your character is too overpowered for school, we may suggest you reapply as a teacher or tone it down a bit.

-Be logical with your species. Mix-blooded characters are more than welcome, but a character with a half of something, a quarter of something else, a sixth of this and an eight of that, is a bit too much. If you’re having trouble, do a little research. You will find something you like!

-When deciding on a dorm, please take into account your characters natural alignment (evil, good, neutral). This doesn't necessarily affect your characters attitude but will help us place you in the correct place. For example, a demon that can conjure fire will most likely be placed in with the Dark Arts group rather then Elemental because demons lean more towards the evil spectrum and the conjuring of flame is most likely through dark means.

-Keep it clean, people. Anything above PG-13 will not be tolerated in the school’s public areas. (Chat, forum, gallery, etc.) If you wish to develop your character this way, please, do so in private venues. If any of the Headmasters see this type of activity, it will result in the removal of your character if warnings are not heeded.
