apparently im a bad painter. siiiiiiigh i thought i was a reasonably acceptable painter. DDD: my painting teacher likes my paintings. so i totally might not pass my portfolio class, which means i will ONCE AGAIN not graduate. and i have no idea what im going to do then because this is the best i can do. and if that isnt good enough, then im screwed.




it also hurts my feelings that my professor totally LAUGHED at my digital illustration.

and then over the summer, i found out i DIDNT graduate because i got an incomplete in ONE UNIT [and they took one unit away from another class that had 2 units when i first signed up. thus making me not graduate].



i knew there was a reason that 1 unit screwed me over.

i got the idea at the end of june. i tossed it around in my head. i knew it was going to be hella time consuming though.
i had no idea what 'senior projects' class was but i assumed it was something in which i would have to do a huge, semester long project, and i decided that this is what i would do for said project if i was guessing correctly about the class. i was right-ish. i actually had to do two huge projects ON TOP OF all this other work this teacher gave us.


anyway, its actually doubling as a christmas present for a group of friends, but they dont know what it is. all they know is i demanded music, answers to a lot of questions, and pictures of them. so im really excited to unveil it at our little christmas party!

id tell you guys all about it, but i cant trust that none of said friends will be snooping around here, seeing if they can figure out what it is. so i cant upload pictures of it until after christmas. but maybe that's better, because then i can show yinz pictures of their reactions.

you just have to trust me that its epic and it feels SO SO SO good to have finished it today and aaaaah i am insanely excited to show it to them! it drives me crazy not to be able to share my excitedness about something lol.

anyway, im off!

-photograph the other project mentioned in this entry [its a screen print!]
-make [5? 10? i have to check] magazine covers for my other class

and by wednesday, i need to have my performance piece down, because i have to perform it that day.
the semester is winding down. thank god! i didnt really mind this semester, but id just love for it to be over. but its also kind of sad because these are my last art classes before i graduate. but then next semester i have some music classes! so thats super exciting for me; i wanted to minor in music but my school doesnt offer a music minor. lameness.

in other news, i got sick last wednesday. as in a caught a cold, not as in a threw up. i haven't been since in about 6 years! so im bummed that my amazing reign of disease-free-ness has come to an end. now im going to have to tell people 'oh, i havent been sick for 2 days! but BEFORE THAT, i hadnt been sick for 6 years.'



actually, im still sick. which is unfortunate.
i need to get better not only because its the end-ish of the semester and ive got a lot of work to do, but more importantly I HAVE TO GO TO DISNEYLAND ON SATURDAY for :endingthetale:'s birthday.

and i wouldnt mind being able to sleep for longer than 3 seconds at a time without springing up from a cough attack.

why is it that the coughsies get so bad when you're trying to sleep?
