Well now I'm back and I'm just reading the same book again as in my last journal, which was in may... kinda coincidence, but that writer, cees nooteboom, is just awesome .

Ok... last week I went to London on a school trip. We left on Monday, 6:30am. We went by bus and crossed the Channel by boatm which was pretty nice, the weather was very good. Our host was an old woman (Mrs Tinker) and her cat Whiskey xP.

On day 1 we travelled to London, but we went for a visit to Canterbury first. We thought to have some cheap icecreams there (cadbury 99, therefore thinking they were 99p each, but instead they were 2 pounds each Oo) so we were ripped off because elsewhere they were at least 50p less =/. Anyway, we were picked up by the son of our host, who thought we were polish. When we were at Mrs Tinker's house, we immediatly got dinner (and she thought we were polish too) which was pretty crap ~_~.... the potatoes and carrots and cauliflower were good, but then there were these 2 sausages which you could almost suck up I think and some strange baked egg which had been put in the oven or so, because it damn dry (we thought it was bread at first... meh). Then she pretty much wanted us to get to our room ("you're probably fed up with sitting here, arent you?" - we only just were there xP). We had to sleep with the 4 of us on the same room, there was just enough room left to get to the stairs, but we had a pwnzor tv with 2 channels and VCR. The bathroom was pretty dangerous, as when hitting the showerhead (which was attached to the waterlinethingy with something you usually put in your hair Oo) the wall could come down .

Sooo 2nd day we went for some sightseeing tour, and we all had to tell something about some famous place, me, having Covent garden, left my information at home on my desk so I just made up some story which actually made a bit of sense too . Later we went for some fish n chips at a restaurant and we were really happy about that, because we wouldnt have dinner at mrs Tinker's. After that we went to the musical Wicked which was good fun.

3rd day we went to windsor castle and eton college, which was ok. We had some free time and we came across "the long walk" (a very long straight road), so we decided to go as far as we had time. We walked it not very long, but we came across some hotel-ish thing called "the long walk", so when doing the long walk, you should just go there, its only a few mins walking . Then we went to eton college and some of the girls' hormones went frenzy and they we're only looking at the guys there... meh. Then we had dinner at mrs Tinker's again, which was spaghetti with a bunch of cheese, which I hate, and a bunch of mushrooms which I've had better before Oo. I didn't really like it, but an overkill ketchup always works ^^.

4th day we went to some museums and we had some free time to go to harrods, I bought something for my mum there, as she had her birthday when I was away (just in the arcade... the other stores are too expensive xP) and we went to get some double hit espresso and just sit on the terrace a bit and watching cars a bit... there's quite a lot expensive cars going around in London... Then again... dinner at mrs Tinker's.. argh xP, last year, a few of my mates also went to London and they also stayed at mrs Tinker and the last day they got some really groce cheesepudding, so the four of us were all in fear of the cheesepudding =o. We got some potatoes and peas and a pig's liver, which was quite nice actually, but then, as desert, she brought us some yellow, pudding looking substance and we were all like argh... but luckily it was normal pudding with some banana and that was quite good actually.

5th day we went back home, just sitting in the bus a bit, not much going on =/.
