As some of you might've noticed, I've gotten myself a camera. A Nikon D40, to be precise. Which I by the way think is a great camera.

I have found out that photography is something that also interests me very much. Along with digital art, a line I might find myself not pursuing as well as I usually did, anymore. Photography has joined my little list of hobbies, and I am off to explore the world through transparent lenses.

And to make things even more superb, it seems my father has a bag filled with lenses, filters, blitzes, what-not, and several other photography-treats. He once bought an apartment, and the former owner left the bag. Never came to pick it up. Dad kept it. And now, he gives it all to me. I'm getting these good vibrations perpetually. Explanation, someone!

500 Kroner is already gone. And the vouchers, both for 169 Kroners, will be gone... soon. Believe me. Just about 70 - 90% of my total expenses, are usually caused by Platekompaniet.

For example, I already spent 400 Kroners, the day after my birthday. So now I'm two DVD's richer!

^{So it seems, that for the first time during my dA career, I've been a victim of the infamous Tag, sent to me by the lovely . However, what surprises me even more, is the fact that I'm actually going to write the 6 habits/things/hates about yours truly.

^{Habits/Things/Hates about me:

1: When I stroke cats, I have a tendency to imagine myself breaking their necks.

2: My most heroic scars were caused by A) the cactus on my last room B) a bush on Mosterøy, and C) Katrine's nails

3: I believe much of Josef Mengele's (the Angel of Death) experimentation on live humans were necessary, and that Hitler was a genius.

4: I find it easier to make friendships with females, and have thus gained a reputation as "gay emo" on my school, and outside, even though I prefer women sexually, rather than males, and despise of emo values.

5: I love feeding birds, and make them land on me. Tourists passing by takes pictures of me each time. Especially when I make a seagull snatch a piece of bread from between my teeth.

6: I collect personal items that fellow students accidentally drop: A small metal-rose attached to a cell phone, a shiny hair clip with fake pearls and diamonds, and an earring that someone lost during the New Year's Ball, among others.

Sorry for the lack of good terrain-images lately. Been experimenting with various things within Terragen, trying to find effects, etc. that I didn't know of before. So I really don't end up having good results that often

And experimenting with 3D Studio Max takes some time, too. Managed to create a somewhat missile-looking thing yesterday, but not so good that I'll take the time to post it here. Well, first of all, let me apologize for my journals appearing so way too frequent lately. Sorry if it bugs y'all.

At Nov 6, Monday 5:08:15 PM I received the note from ~Player-piano

He was leaving. And he has now left. I feel this a loss for the DeviantART community, losing an artist such as ~Player-piano . He had his very own style; he had quirky, delicate drawings - intricate in its own simplicity. The looks of a two-year-old's scribblings on paper, and yet, there was still meaning in it. There was beauty.

And in his memory, here's thumbnails of his works - Please take the time to see the actual deviation, maybe even full-view.

I hope I do not offend anyone by the further content within this journal entry. But I feel it is right to say.

I shall quote from ~Player-piano's last journal entry, where he tells his reason of leaving. (I hope you don't mind my doing this, Connor.) :

"This site annoys me. All these silly emo kids think they are so pretty and original when their photography is really just a myspace picture. And then little 12 year old girls give comments saying how original and how hot the guy is, and it's not even art! It's just some Hot topic consumer slave taking pictures of himself. So of course the picture gets 300 favorites while some of the most talented artists on this site go unnoticed. All I ever see on this site is anthro art,sonic drawings, and anime drawings. Everybody doing fine on this day of unholy missions and sugar-gathering crusades? I certainly did!

The funniest thing of all, is that people thought my costume really was a costume... I used things I found in my closet... The closet where I have the clothes I normally wear. Heh.

Well, if anybody noticed, I'm actually up in 1995 comments while writing this journal. Meaning...? Hell yeah, we're gonna feature another Deviant when reaching 2000! But who will it be? What great member of our glorious society will be featured in my (probably) unknown journal? Wait and see!

In other news, today and yesterday was great days. So let's all board the story-telling-train, shall we?

Yesterday: 'Tis started out as a nice day! First, our class visited a commercial firm, but that's not the most interesting part. Nope, after being there, we went to IVAR! *Evil music*

Hell yeah. IVAR... The intercommunal sewage-cleaning facility of Rogaland (my province in Norway) ! First, this guy working there talked to us for around an hour, explaining lots of stuff. Sadly, I can't go into details on what he spoke about, seeing I fell asleep around 10 times, and dozed off several times more...

And going trough the facility itself was awesome! Imagine great pools of sewage, mixed with different chemicals to sort out the crap from the water! Imagine a smell like roses! Well, the truth is, it was cool, but kinda disgusting. It was especially fun we went into this room with a "RADIOACTIVE" sign on it Anders and I saw this ventilation-thingy which there came lots of smoke out of! Creepy.

And later that day, Hanne, Rebecca and I made big posters saying "GRATIS KLEMMER", that meaning "FREE HUGS" in plain English
And then we went down to town, walking around with our posters, hugging anyone who wanted a hug ^__^ We hugged several hundred persons! The longest hug I got, was from this very, very gay-like guy... Not that I'm calling him gay, but... If you were there, you'd understand at once

TODAY (that being friday): I dyed my hair PURPLE! Heheh, it looks great. Ah, from braids, to dreads, to purple hair... Lots of hair-stuff, eh? And what's really fun, is to use hair products that makes the hair stand away from my head... It gets all big and fuzzy =]

I've never been this active on a forum, either. I've tried like three others, but I never really liked being there. But this is something else! This place, familiar DeviantART, is a nice place to be at...
