Figured I do a little update in between classes. Not a whole lot to say, except I FREAKING LOVE MY LAPTOP!!!!

You wouldn't believe how incredible it is to have a computer that a.)works b.)I can put whatever I want on it without getting in trouble, and c.)isn't secondhand, is. Not since we got our first computer have I had a computer that no one else has touched. I'm the only one allowed to touch it, and I love that fact. My brother tried to get me to let him use it to put one of his flight sim's on, and I just looked at him and went, Oh hell no.

I still need to name it, but I figure I have time for that. My friends laptops are named Hope, Starwind, and Byakuya... So... I need to come up with something great as well.

I downloaded GIMP a few nights ago, and it's amazing. It took me a bit to figure out how it works, but now I'm trying my hand at simple photo manipulations. Maybe, after I get a bit of practice, I'll start some harder stuff, but for now, this'll do.

Can't really think of anything else to say, so I'm just going to end this here. Feel free to ask me any questions. I'll answer!!!

My Life
Kay... So, my grandpa bought me a really freaking nice laptop. Because I'm doing a big project for him, so he thinks by the time I finish, I'll have earned it.

I freaking love it already!!! It's only a Dell, but it's one from the Studio 17 series, and the screen is HUGE!!! It's got a full keyboard, 4 gigs of memory, 500 gigs in the hard drive, and a dual core processor. It runs on Vista, but I don't mind, because I've been wanting to try it for a while.

I'll be keeping my desktop for a while longer, but soon, my printer/scanner is going to be going on it. I don't have room right now, but as soon as it's clean, I'll be putting it on here.

I'd be using it right now, but my dad won't give me the code to the network, so I can't. Much sadness. Oh well. Soon I'll be able too!!!

I'm so freaking excited!!!!!

Bleh. Had my midterms today.

~~I've bombed one of them.~~ Nevermind, he let us retake, and I passed this time. (But keep watching for my next edit.) I haven't taken the other yet. I will be soon though. I'll edit when I do, though.

Payed my school. Now I'm broke for the rest of the week. And I owe my mom $60.00. Luckily, I only owe my school $101.03. Any body want some commissions?

OHMIGOSH!!!

Now that that's out of the way, time for me to explain, neh?

I put in an application a few weeks ago for a job at the IRS (Internal Revenue Service, for those of you who aren't up to date on this acronym.) and I just got an email from them today, stating that I am tenatively (god I hate that word...) eligible for the position I applied for.

Four months of working in that freaking warehouse has finally payed off!!!

I combined it with my college education, and I think that's what's making me eligible.

I know that it said the word tenatively, but I can't help but be excited. I really need this job, and hopefully, I'll at least get an interview....

So, if I could ask y'all a big, BIG favor. Please pray that I get this job, because this'll take a lot of stress off of me if do get it. (I can handle the stress that comes from working. It's nothing compared to what I'm going through right now.)

In other news, I'm kinda learning Japanese. I have that My Japanese Coach game for the DS, and I really like it. I got to skip a few lessons, which was really nice.

And.... That's like, all I can think of. I think I'm gonna go eat... Which would be nice, considering I've barely been able to eat at all this week.

So today I get a letter from my school. No big deal, I've been expecting it. It has my class schedule and all that jazz in.

Then I get to my financial aid crap.

I owe my school over six hundred dollars.

And my poor mother, god bless her walked in and the first thing out of my mouth was, "I got the stuff from the school today."

And then I proceeded to tell her about it. Wish I would have know She had a migraine before hand. ><

So... Now I need to come up with two hundred thirteen dollars and twenty nine cents by next Tuesday....

And I don't have a freaking job.

Thank god I see my therapist today. March was not a good month, and April is not looking any better.

Any body know where I can get two hundred dollars fast?

Gwah... So how was everyone's Christmas/New Years?

Mine was alright... Didn't get a lot. I got some monies.... And then promptly got yelled at for spending it all on things I wanted. I don't tell people what I want for two reasons. The first one is that when I do, I don't get anything I said I wanted anyway. The second is that I usually get told that it's too expensive.

(I like to import stuff from Japan.... I think that might be part of it.)

New Years eve, I watched people get drunk, and play DOA 4. Fuckin' hilarious. One was plastered, and the other two were pretty damn tipsy. We watched the The Breed, which wasn't two bad, as well. I drank sparkling apple cider and stole peoples buzzes. ^_^

New Years day we played Dnd for five hours. Pretty fun. And managed to find a second copy of Left4Dead. Damn fun game, if you ask me. ^_^ I died a few times, but I still liked it. Definately going to order it, and then demand that my dad let me get X-Box live. lol (We spent two and a half hours looking for one copy New Years Eve. Nothing was fucking open. We finally found one a K-Mart. Last copy too. ^_^)

Random stuff now.

Me and my sister have fishies. Or.... my sister had some. Hers are all dead now. One of them is still floating around in her bowl.... Really gross if you ask me.

I have two. I used to have four. Two are dead now.... Which makes me sad. I've learned a lot about taking care of them though. One just died a few hours ago, so I had to flush it and clean the bowl.... It kind of needed it though... >< I have a small Koi and one common gold fish. I'll take pics and show them to you all sometime. They're eating right now... I fed them twice today to make up for the past few days. I haven't been home much for the last few days, so they deserve it. They're getting their daily does of J-pop right now.

Bleh.... I need to get some sleep now. It's four in the morning, and I should have been to bed hours ago.

Wow.... I can't believe that it's already christmas time.... How time flies.

It's been snowing here in good ol' Utah.... Which means its freezing. And I'm not joking. It gets freaking cold here. ><

I made it through my first Quarter of college with absolutely no problems. (Except for one minor panic attack, but I managed to deal with that WITHOUT any of my Klonopin!!! Yay me!!!)

But yeah. I've already signed up for my classes for next Quarter. I have Intro to Psych on mondays and wednesdays, and Intro to Humanities and Creative Writing on Tuesdays and Thursdays. ^_^ I'm excited!!!

Been looking for a job.... And I haven't had much success.... With the economy the way it is, it's hard to even find one. Oh well.... I'll keep trying!!!!

So, had my first day of college on monday!!!

I freaking love it!!! I'm only taking three classes, twice a week, but it's still fun!!!

'Cept, I have to get up early. Like, seven in the morning early. My mom drives me to school, and my first class is at eight. *Remember change for coffee in the morning!!!!*

I get out at about two. All my classes are right in a row. But it's still fun!

That's all I've got to say. I need to finish up some reading for my Compostion class, then I'm off to bed! *Already finished my Math and Interpersonal Communications homework*

Gwah!!!!! I'm really freaking excited right now!!!

So, I was online, looking for schools in my area that were still accepting applications.... And I found Utah Career College.

Quarter starts on the twenty ninth, so I applied, and went in for my interview today.

And I think I freaking got accepted!!!

I take the accuplacer tomorrow, and I go in to talk to the financial aide lady on monday. OMFG!! If that's not accepted, I don't know what is.

I'm going into the Information Technology Field, which is basically working with computers. That'll get me on my way to my true goal.

Going to Japan to teach english. ><

Weird goal, I know, but it also lets me keep my insurance with my parents, which I was going to loose on my birthday, if I didn't start school.

So... yeah. That's my good news of the week!!!

I was thinking about maybe doing commissions... but I don't know. Am I good enough for that?

I kinda need the money. I can't get a job because I'm babysitting 7-8 hours a day, and I usually just want to sleep after that. Originally it was only supposed to be for two weeks, but now it looks like I might be doing this for another six. I love the kid, but I hate watching 7-8 hours of Noggin every day. I can sing the opening themes to Franklin, Mrs Spiders Sunny Patch Friends, Little Bill, Maggie and the Ferocious Beast... And Blues Clues. (With Steve, not Joe. >< I've played 15+ Hours of Harvest Moon: Ds Cute version for the Kid, because he likes to watch me play. And, though I like to sleep... I get up at Eight in the morning to do this... (He doesn't come over until 9:30 ish... But to be even remotely awake, I have to be up when my mom leaves for work.)

I get payed to babysit, but most of that goes to my book addiction. I also get payed to clean my grandpa's house once a week. But that's not going to cut it if I want to go to college anytime in the near future.

Sooooo.... If I did commissions, would anybody be willing to buy. Because I'm not great, it'd only be $5-$10 Dollars.... So yeah. That's my question to you all.

Fwah... This'll be short... Can't type very well right now...

I managed to hurt myself in a very interesting way. Yesterday, (4/9/08) I was going out to my mom's mini van to get her coupons out.

My pants, unbeknowst to me, got caught in the door. Let it be known now that nothing happened to my pants, even though they should be ripped.

But so, they got caught in the door, and I didn't realize it until I was falling off the freaking stairs.

It hurt. I threw my hands out infront of me so I wouldn't land on my head, and hit the ground. My left arm and leg took most of the fall... But only my arm hurts.

I think I deep bruised the muscles, but I'm not sure. Mom says if it doesn't feel better, then she'll get me an appointment.

But that takes talent. ><
