Well, I'll get the lame stuff out of the way.

I finished One Year later 5 and it's in my scraps because A) I had no ideas, and B) I had to leave details out, so it's only a page and a half long. I couldn't write it, and is my worst deviation to this date. Read it at your own risk.


Finally,
Finally is correct. I finally beat 2 games that have taken me years to beat.

First:
Advance wars DS.
This one was just me making it harder than it was. If you've played it, I stopped playing at the level with the 12 missles (Trying to avoi spoilers) so I gave up for a good year, but I finally beat it, and the rest of the game (Besides that freaking mission with Drake) was no problem.

Second:
Yoshi's Island DS.
I wont lie, this game was no where near it's original, but it had it's moments. I stopped playing cause of the 6th world where you have to find the 4 pool balls to unlock the door. Too tedious for me, and I didn't feel like doing it again until recently.

Well, first off, in first place we have
with Mawlly.
Mawlly was chosen because she easily fits in with my story, along the facts of being a bit of a misfit, and just being a fun character to write about. Mawlly will be one of the four main characters of the series, as a prize of first place.

Cevaz also gave me the most depth in character development, and the longest note out of all.

Second we have
with Sly.
Sly was a neat character who is a smeargle whose paint changes functioning as a mood ring. I like the character, but a somewhat lonely kid is the opposite of what I need as a main character in this story, but fits well in second place as a member on Group 8 team.

Other entries, to the two of you, I liked that you showed interest, and don't feel bad that I didn't pick you, but I preferred my other two choices, and thanks for entering. I might cameo each of your characters in.

I'm planning to get it done before school starts, which for me is the 8th.

Well, the computer is back, and it's faster than before, and all that crap is gone. Also we now have more RAM, as we had like, 1 gig of it, and we're supposed to have 2. Then again the tower from my computer is incredibly small... It's a bit thicker the first PS2s, and is maybe a foot long, and maybe 6-8 inches tall.

Even if you didn't post in the journal before, you can go ahead and do it...

Rules:
Design a character for my up coming mystery dungeon series. You can draw the character, or describe (The more detail the better.) it in text. Your must have a personality for you pokemon for their youth, teen, and adult age. On September 1st, I close the contest and begin judging. When you finish, send me a note with a link.

Things to keep in mind:
Parents. If you want to come up with parents, that'd be A-OK with me.
Full names. I can do with just a first name, but if you want to do a full name, it'll work.
A motivation to be in a Rescue Team (As a kid)
and that this series takes place in the 70's, so not everything that exists now exists, so keep that in mind.

Limits:
1.)No legendaries. What do you expect?
2.) Not a Mary Sue. Your character needs a list of flaws, and pros, but it cant be perfect.
3.)Needs to live in Arrav, so have a reason for either moving there if their birth place is different.

Prizes:
1st Place: Main character spot in next series.
2nd Place: Support Character spot in series.
Possible 3rd Place prize: Possible Cameo.

As a member of NHS, I was given the opportunity to run Field Day at my old elementary school. I rushed to sign up for this, as the spots flew away.
Now, if it wasn't awesome enough that I got to do this, but, the elementary school is closing this year. The last year ever. The last Field Day ever. So this was an added bonus.

My friend Gerard also went there to work it. We were assigned 2 different things. He was chosen to run the bowling. The gym shrunken with age was set up with bowling pins. He had to reset pins all day.

I had to run the blow up obstacle course. It started off with a small rainbow thing to crawl under, over a bar, through punching bags, through a hole, up the wall, and down the slide. I ran it several times throughout the day, because we had a lot of down time. My fastest time was 8.5 seconds, while some kid on team Norway got 5.37 seconds. Freaking midgets.

It was a lot of fun seeing all the kids I teach at Martial Arts and messing with one. (One kid didnt beat the record, so I made him do pushups.) It's a shame it's the last one ever.

All my old teachers (Only 2 were still there) all recognized me, hardly Gerard. We went in the office in sat down during our hour long break. My fifth grade teacher separated us as a joke. Then we played tick tack toe on a cup.
It made me feel like a kid again, and it has made me decided. I'm buying Gerard Soul Silver whether he likes it or not.

Aside from a meaningless update, I'm working on a bored pokemon 6, and then aftermath 2, maybe an aftermath 3, then comes either A) a break, or B) another A happy birthday based on a fictional character, because I feel like it.

Oh, I saw a play on Saturday called "Leaving Iowa" by our school. Our drama director picked a random play, and he picked a good one. It's about a family who goes on boring trips all the time, and it's hilarious. It is not only funny, it's well written, and the characters are very easy to relate with, considering we've all been stressed in a car with our family. If you ever see a chance to see this play, go do it.

Well, the concert was fucking amazing as expected.

JoCo Opened with IKEA and closed with some Neil Diamond Song (I think) and First of May.

Paul and Storm said something that got everyone to go "Awww" And for an audience participation, we had to say "ARGH" for another song. We kept repeating that over and over again, so when JoCo got on the stage, he said we were all weird, and a "Two Memer".

I didn't get my head signed.

I heard all but one song that I wanted to, but then again it's an older song and he doesn't play it as much.

I bought a T-Shirt and CD, and it was awesome.

First off, I got to talk to someone I don't get to talk to often, that was pretty nice, then I got to talk to him the next day, which surprised me beyond belief. And before that, a Let's Player I subscribed to came back after getting his account hacked twice. GO KZX! A lot of the dicks in school started being nice to me too. Maybe it's because of me wanting to play dodgeball, the game that dislocated my finger. And today, I'd be in Advanced Algebra right now, but I'm at home. SNOW DAY! We're supposed to get over a foot, and on Saturday, Christmas break was supposed to start, but thanks to the Snow Day, it's extended. And tomorrow's a friend's birthday party (No happy birthday, he's already in MD), so I'm pumped about that.

Sometimes, I love how the opposite of what I think happens.

Someone died. I joke you not, a junior passed out on the floor before school started. On my way to my first hour, I saw her on the ground, her face purple, and teachers around her. If I hadn't seen my finger when I got it dislocated, I'm sure I'd have barfed on the spot. Now, I didn't know her, but I felt bad for joking about it, thinking she'd be fine, but in 3rd hour, we were told what happened. Now, I feel sad, cause not only did someone die, I also felt like an asshole. Combined with my sister pissing my mom off, getting her angry at me, a few things from last night, and this, I just know this is going to be a shitty week.

Just want to update, also we got a new printer... Has a scanner, so I'm gonna upload 3 drawings. 2 to my main, 1 to my scraps.

As for the title, my dads appartment lit on fire once, and we were both in it. Everyone we asked (Which was a lot, considering I'm pretty much afraid of fire. I dont mind seeing it, but getting close to it unless it's a bonfire I steer clear.) said it would never happen again to us. Damn my family sucks at predicting the future.

Well the reason I havent been updating stories (Even though I had a half day on tuesday) Is I got kirby superstar ultra on monday. Got it right after school.

Two words. Fucking Amazing. At first it seems to only have the original 6 games plus 3 mini games. Then you unlock Revenge of the King (Harder spring breeze, bring back that fucking blimp from the first kirby game) where DeDeDe isnt super easy. I actually died on him once.
Which gets Meta Knight Ultra, a timed through all of the levels up to then. Then you get SAMURAI KIRBY!!! After beating Milky Way wishes from earlier, you get the arena. The name tells you what it is. Then you get Helper to Hero, which is 13 bosses, playing as a support character of your choice. (Tac and plasma are reccomended) Beating that gets you Megathon Punch, and The TRUE arena, which is 13 hard bosses (From all the new games) with weak heals. I havent beaten it yet.
So, I have 98 Percent beat.

Great Cave Offensive, Meta Knight Ultra (Metaknight has some cool powers), and Samurai Kirby.

My sister and I were playing the Download Spring Breeze. As I went up a corridor, a Poppy Bro JR threw a bomb at me, which exploded in his face due to the wall, knocking him down a pit.

Angriest Moment:
In the Help to Hero, I finally got to the final boss, Wham Bam Rock. Once I beat him I had very little health less, only to find out he transforms into Wham Gem something, which is more powerful with new attacks. I died instantly.

Most Rewarding moment:
Beating Meta Knight ultra. Not only was it fun, I GOT SAMURAI FREAKING KIRBY!

Well... You most likely didn't notice, but a year ago, I joined dA.

It's been a bit, so for a special journal, I've decided to write the origins of Arigah.

Well, I started off on the game Warcraft III (If you have it, message me, Id love to lose a match.) A couple months later, my friend Anthony introduced me to Unforgotten realms [link] when it was an original cartoon. Now it's on escapist. Look how far it's come. I joined up on the forums, and soon became number one poster. For a long time, I was there, and I still am. Eventually, I noticed a little link to a site under Maelstrom (AKA ). A link to his DeviantArt page. I was curios, so I checked it out. It was an interesting site, and eventually, I found who's story got me to join, so I could keep up on his story. Eventually, I decided I'd do something of my own. I kept thinking what. Then I remembered the Mystery Dungeon special from a long time ago. I loved it, so I thought I'd make my own, soon to be beloved by . Withouht playing the game first. Eventually, through Colby's friends list, I met . We became friends, and started a little story, which was somewhat finished, but we skipped a part, and never did it. Eventually joined in, and I soon became friends with him.
They inspired a lot of the later part. Not with events, but getting my mind in motion. Other friends on dA were found by random. But now, my little series is rearing up to its end. Only a few more chapters left. One is going up today. (Speaking of which, check the original Mystery Dungeon I wrote.)

No, I'm not this pumped to be back, that isn't even the purpose of this journal. I BEAT DONKEY KONG COUNTRY 2! For all of you going PSH what an idiot, I say, shut up, I know I am!

But if you've never played the game, you wouldn't know how hard it is. Some levels I can get through easily, but theres always that one level which I'll be stuck on for a while (Bramble ____, Haunter Hall, Hot head ride, Acid Tower, Castle Crush) Mostly the end levels. This game is a perfectionist to the extreme, if you've gotten past world 2, you'll know what I mean. Now for 102 percent

PS I've been playing this game since I was 5, and I'm just now beating it. (Although divorce stopped me from playing it for over a few years.)

If you're wondering about my subject, well, it's a question I need to ask. Recently, a lot of people I know have just stopped talking to me (Real life, online, whatever.). Just like that. They refuse to pick up the phone, ignore me when I knock on the door, and now it's starting to the 1 and a half people who sometimes talk on MSN. I've looked back on before I joined dA and I've noticed, I was a lot happier before I ever signed up. Recently I've been in the, why the fuck was I born, kind of mood, which only happened once before when I was around 13, and it was for a week.

This summer has been the worst of my life. Australia and Band Camp were the only times I had a smile on my face for more then the length of a youtube or unforgotten realms episode, and most of the rest I've spent here on dA. My writing has completly slowed down now that I'm in this mood. I've been wondering about taking a break from dA from a week, to who knows, since late June. I want to know. I just didn't do it because of all the people claiming about leaving for dA, and those who hate the people who do it for no reason, and let me mention, I'm not leaving. It's just a break from a week, to 2 month tops.

Would any of you care if I took this break?

As mort Camping, Im going somewhere in Kalamazoo, to watch my step sister (Who hasnt come to a single one of my things) bowl. For 3 hours... Gonna be real boring. The weather is predicted to be terrible. For that reason, I wondered why we couldnt stay in a hotel. So much for logic.

In other terms, Im having a shitty day, all my friends have been ass hole to me, my family have been assholes to me, people I dont know have been assholes to me, and when they ask whats wrong, they act like they have no clue... Im also getting 2 c's which my moms angry about... Ones in a class we have 2 assignments in, and the others in frigging Geometry....

Anyway, I beat EoT a few days ago. Good ending. Now I need to get as many reviver seeds I can for the Graduation thingy.

Yeah, partys over. Im back, have a few journals and devations to check through.

As for my trip, I had a storke of my usual bad luck.
Customs took over an hour and a half in Jamaica, Our room wasnt ready till an hour after, in which we got locked out of once, We also had to move rooms 2 times because our air conditioner broke, it took over 12 hours to get home in which we were supposed to take less.
