My god, i never knew his curse is this strong.

As any Keroro Gunsou Fan would know, Giroro, though manly and macho, he's the tragic clown comic relief in the series.

I just couldnt imagine the curse would carry forward to when making his head.

I pricked and cut and sliced my fingers so many times when making his hat i just dismissed it as being careless. Though to be honest, i didnt even get this much injury when making Dororo.

Then comes painting his head, i brought the wrong spray type and now he's the same colour as his hat and the paint drip mark is all over, on top of that the colour didnt even stick to the skeleton!!! So frustrated, i left it out at the back lane to dry it (Malaysian would know that between 2 rows of terres houses, theres a small back lane that seperates the 2 rows). Then came along a jolly stray dog, sniff it, and decided to mark his head as his territory, luckily i manage to shoo it off before it leaks onto Giroro's head. (imagine the scared dog tumble backwards when its leg is midair, wish i took a video of it)

Sigh, i've made his eyes, his symbol and readied Keroro's hat. Tomorow i am off to buy a new spray to repaint his head.

YAY! i finished Dororo's head... ok he didnt turned out well as i expected, but as a prototype, his imperfection will not be in vain! Next up, Giroro's head! I'm already doing his "hat". so tomorrow i am going to buy more material for his skeleton.

the first head was meant to be Kururu, since he's my favourite, but trials and error show me that i need to experiment more to perfect the head. Hence why my first head turns out to be Dororo's (he has more cloth to cover the ugliness) Gomen, Dororo! >_<

As thankful and grateful as i am for having so many caring and understanding colleagues in the office, sometimes i wonder why i even bother to be understanding to some. As frustrated as i am by some, i cannot even begin to imagine the frustration and unpleasantness felt by those of more senior position with more responsibility. I really salute people like Jason or Raymond or Ayon, especially Ayon, because he can smile through the most HORRIBLE deadline, and Jason for not killing himself sooner, and Raymond for not turning into a horrible emo person.

Something happened at the office, those close to me know of my frustration. I have tried to be patient and understanding yet some continue to test my tolerance. I'm not of a senior position, in fact, most of the time i am a medium (wo)man trying to soften the blow from my leader/superior to my team mates, or to defend them when i know they could not have any more time and energy to modify something from scratch. Of course if i need to be blunt i will be; i have to be a clown if i have to; or a canteen lady for providing treats if spirits need to be lifted, as i do not have the power (like giving incentives or raise) to encourage my team mates, sometimes i even take their task and make them mine when i could have just shove the work back to them. So i do whatever that is in my power to motivate people, because honestly, this industry is harsh and heartless when it comes to deadline. Still its pointless to live life grumpy, thats why i only take 2 sec to get grumpy, move on, and continue working. Yes i rant, yes i complain, yes i show my frustration, but i never give up on my work. I may slow down, but i will shift into 5th gear very soon.

See thats my viewpoint of life, why do you frown through every situation that you know is unfair and not to your liking when you can hum a tune to lift your spirit? Part of becoming a Christian that i have learn is never to let frustration get to you and always sing a tune as you work in the darkness. I love the strength my faith brought me, and when i am down i always remind myself that God will never give you a burden too heavy to carry, He will provide you the tools to make your life easier, you just have to keep an open heart and open mind to find them. I like to sleep over my problem, and my anger and frustration goes away after i'm fully engrossed with my work. I try not to keep any grudges and remain professional, but lately that has been getting more and more difficult because they keep reminding me why i was frustrated with them in the first place.

As i was ready to cross the road to the restaurant. 2 indian on a motorbike was slowly approaching me. The next thing i knew i felt a tug on my bag and acting on instinct i stabbed him in the arm with my car key and yank my bag away from the motorists. The place was dimly lighted by the cafe. And i hadn't realize what happened until they speed away and their roaring engine wake me back in reality. I told my parents about it and they are glad i am just ok.

But what shocked me even more is my ability to act on instinct. I've always thought i would just froze in fear and do nothing. turns out i am more scary then i thought.

Yay i am part of the snatch thieve incident statistic now!

Phew, what a weekend, on saturday night it was our company's year end party where i was the emcee along with Zul my another charming and witty colleague. It was a very refreshing change to see everyone glamed up for the event as the theme was "Secret Agent", but with the twist of bringing a kid/childhood toy. It's probably the only time i'll ever see , , , , , etc in suits and formal dress. Everyone looked absolutely stunning and my year end pic convinced me ever more to go on a friking diet cause the camera doesn't love me anymore TT_TT

On sunday i daunt my katamari costume and i attended the yearly Comic Fiesta. A convention for local artists and cosplayers. This year was held at Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre, a huge improvement on everything! (sadly not the price of the ticket) However i still dont get why people would complain about the price, it was definitely worth it. Hell the chair was ribbon and PVC cloth wrapped - WRAPPED!!! The place was spacious, the air-condition swell, and plenty of room to walk about! I definately had alot of fun cosplaying this year, wish i had done a better job at fixing my costume though. Wednesday threw me off course completely as i stayed till 1am finishing the animation project and knackered me till the entire week. Thank goodness for alphaleo14 and pokelai for staying with me, i'd been terrified to stay that late alone. Anyway back to my cosplaying experience, well, i probably got the biggest respond from people this year because its a complete costume and not a humanoid cosplay like my previous chocobo, moogle, moomba or tonberry. People simply get confused when its humanoid. I'm thinking of reviving my moomba costume next year and a katamari for the 2nd day, cross your fingers that i wont be too bogged down with work to do my cosplay!

As a katamari, even before i put my head gear up, people already pointed out my huge beach ball in disguise of a katamari. "EEEEE!!! a katamari!!" and when i rolled around people would scream out how cute it looked. I secretly enjoy the attention under my mask, and i enjoy the freedom of frowning or without smiling while posing for pictures. Thank yoga for great balance as most of the time i'm standing on one leg, posing in motion as though i'm running. Alot of people are excited to take picture with the katamari and some are even sporting enough to pretend being rolled over by it! Some cosplayers pretend to roll away my ball and others gladly traded places with me so it looked like i'm the one being rolled up! I got slightly annoyed by some people who couldn't resist poking the ball, i understand your curiosity, but don't press your weight entirely on the ball! Poking is one thing, pressing to see if it will burst is just crossing the line!

While i was standing near the stage wallowing in sadness and regret that i missed the first day to register for the cosplay competition. The emcee spotted me and asked me to come on stage to play a game. They requested 3 other cosplayers and the objective of the game is to roll them up with my ball... but of course with wobbly headgear and a blurry filtered vision it was really quite difficult chasing after them. One of the male cosplayers (named Reno-san) was kind enough to play defeat and let me roll him up (or down, either way), because of my narrowed vision i run into the board on stage and i was dizzy for a brief moment. But the show must go on and i continue to chase after the remaining 2. After all the laugther and hooha i was awarded with a pc game called Xpand rally *shrugs*. I dont even play racing games... oh well, lucky brother. another cosplayer named Kilmasis was kind enough to offer his helping hand to help me off the stage. I think i'd have lost my balance and fell off the stage if it werent for him. Thousand thanks to the kind gentlemen!

oooh, a...

i am having such a strange mix of relaxation and unsettledness. Going home at 6, having dinner with my family at the table, help around the house even more... it feels like i'm restarting my life.

Damn.

Anyway, its a grand satisfaction to have finished ComboNinos on the 23rd of May. Now learning how to animate with brush strokes to animate Mustang Mama. I think eventually i can train myself to ctrl Z 250 times per second, hahahaha. Man i suck at drawing with brush! I am such a greenhorn, hahaha.

Oh Oh Oh!! I also finished building my very first gundam, its called a Strike Rouge Gundam. Its pink and pilot by a female pilot. Managed to finish it in 8 hours. I am beginning to understand the fascination of gundam building. helped me to fix some minor parts of it parts i knew there's something wrong but looks alright to an amateur like me, hahahaha. Cant wait till my next toy hunt! i am falling in love with model buildings. *squeeeeeel*

I'm really grateful to have met this bunch of fascinating people as my colleagues and having the honor of sharing a friendship. Strange though, is now far away from us but our friendship has only strengthen, i guess distant does makes the heart fonder, hahahaha. We are a bunch of friends with no strings attached, there's no such things as "owing" one another. We are free to come and go as we wish, free to form another circle of friends without obligation. I guess thats why i love them so much. I could never understand how some people are so selfish as to stop their friends from making their own circle of friendship. Even go as far as to make statements like "if you befriend them, i dont want to be your friend anymore!" Childish, aint it? True friends knows no boundary. People grow and learn, finding their own passion and their own direction of life. We have no right to stop them, friendship is partnership, not ownership.

There's no such thing as "forever". I believe people we meet in our lifetime has expiry dates, even the close ones, and i'd not blame them if we have some how grown apart, whats important is the memory we've created together. It's unique to each its own, and nothing is more precious then memories.

Its a good sign that means i'm coughing out all my germs and on the road to recovery, but now i'm sleep deprived and my head hurts from all that coughing.

3 more weeks till we finally wrap up ComboNinos! I cant believe its finally coming to an end, and thinking back to all the difficulties and roadblocks we faced, what didnt kill us do make us stronger. Yet i do it, i keep pushing myself to finish earlier then my own deadline so i can help others. God must have accidentally implanted an extra noble chip in me or something.
Thanks to takeru-san, now i have to do these weird facts thingy

1. Post these rules.
2. Each person tagged must post 8 random (hopefully interesting) facts about themselves.
3. Tags should write a journal of these facts.
4. At the end of the post 8 more bloggers are tagged and named.

As you probably know this, i love to laugh, or giggle, or chuckle. Sometimes too much, but i really cant help it and i'd like to appologise to those who were shaken by it. At any rate... its YOUR FAULT! yes, you! especially those i work with! You guys are the ones programmed me to laugh loudly.

I have a thing for long hair guys, but not the surfer dude type of long hair guys, i like the ancient chinese bookish looking long hair dude, or the englishy long hair dukes. I believe in my past life i must have been a servant maid to some lord or something like that that passed on without fulfilling her love for her master. But i digress.

Among my friends i always played the role of a counselor. In D&D i'd probably be the druid or the priest, but i prefer a druid because i love having an animal companion, making it charge headlong into the enemies while i cast killer magic to tear them from limb to limb... *ahem* Anyway, i'm the backstage leader sort of friends. I cannot take charge when the lime light is on me, sort of a tactician if you will. I spend more money on other people then i do on myself, which is why my mom nags me so much. Money is not that important to me, but i'd like to save them for rainy days. Yet i can be very generous with my spending when it comes to seeing my friends happy and cheerful. So yeah, my weakness is other people's smiles.

THE FACTS!

1. I like to take picture showing the right side of my face.

2. I have a very keen 6 sense, unfortunately not keen enough to guess the correct lottery number, hahahaha.

3. I am a procrastinator.

4. I drank snake blood when i was a kid because i was too weak to stay alive.

5. When i was a kid and my grandma used to bring me to temples all the time, one day i claim to have seen the statue of Buddha open his eyes; but now i think its because due to the shortness of me the half open eyes looked like they are fully opened.

6. During high school i was trained to dress and undress within 30 seconds for PE; woooo go St. Mary!

7. I am one of those kids that animals love to approach, over the years i have saved 8 kittens from drains, and countless others from various hole/drain/roof/road/market/mean kids.

8. I still have this very vivid fear that someday i will die on the road with a metal pole piercing through my throat or torso ever since the stupid road safety week during high school where they show horrible accident pictures.

Target:

whoever wants to do this facthingymagigy.

Express recap of my life

i started working as an animator 7 months ago, and now blessed with a bunch of crazy people for friends and colleagues.

i just turn 23 this 7 january! love my job but hate the deadlines. Well unreasonable deadlines, but what to do, tis life. Thank god for crazy friends and ecentric colleagues. I had a surprise birthday scare because we were rushing deadline at 12 midnight sunday when all of the sudden Zul led the birthday song, i never expected anyone to remember my birthday, because my own parents and family never did. So it was very touching for me. Alphaleo14 even remembered i wanted the DVDs for "Mind your english", it was very sweet of him. And everybody in the team got together and gave me a photo frame, and Aimee5 gave me an art book titled "A contract with God" by Will Eisner. Joulester drew me a picture (which is alreayd enough to send me to cloud nine) It was a very nice surprise for a change Then in the morning Yoke Lai and Mei Chin came for a surprise dinner! Man, how could i forgot to mention that.
