So, I am having a road trip! It's due sometime around June.

I'm going from Launceston (Tas), All the way up the coast road to Cairns again, to pick up all the (ok, probably most - limited space) stuff my boyfriend and I couldn't take on the plane.

Going to be going through Melbourne (of course, since the boat docks there - Spirit of Tasmania, for anyone curious) then either around the coast to Sydney, or cutting through to Sydney via the ACT. (boyfriend wants to go here: [link] )

Of course, it's all subject to money. Specifically, how much we won't have, lol.

So. After Sydney, we're looking at a couple of days rest in Brisbane, since i'm the only one between us who can drive, i'd like to have a break there, and look around. Never been to Brizzy. Plus there is a forumite I wouldn't mind meeting.
(note to self: get back to the forums.)

Then it's up to Cairns! At least i'm going in winter, so the weather will be great. My Boyfriend & I are wanting to do the Kuranda Skyrail & Train ( [link] ) since it was on the list for us to do before we left, but we ran out of time and money. So here's hoping that we can do it this time!

Then it's a beeline home, after the meet'n'greet of family again. Then it's time to find a place down here! Been looking around for ballpark rent prices, and things are looking good.

Of course, Pictures will be inevitable.

I'm off the plane, and have been rather tardy in updating this, it seems.

Tassie is a really pretty place - full of old buildings, and tiny little townships... well, from what i've seen so far, anyway. i'm learning my way around, which is kinda imperitive, considering i'll be going back to TAFE/Tech, whatever you call it, to do my Cert. 4 in Business Administration.

...I almost did Cert 1 in Panel Beating, but the road out to get to that campus, though the same distance timewise, was really snakey and I didn't like it much at all. So! into town every day for me. yay, 2 tanks of fuel. A Week. Hrm. :S

Expect more pictures and photos - i'm being a real tourist at the moment, and just taking pictures of pretty much everything... like the monkeys in the city park. Monkeys! (Not Monkey, though - that'd just be weird.)

Whull. I'm moving! From the top of Australia... to the bottom. XD

More specifically, Cairns (Queensland), to just outside Launceston, (Tasmania,) with my boyfriend.. It'll be good to get out of the humidity.

I fly out of cairns on the 10th january, but i leave *here* (i.e. the place i'm renting) on the 5th December.

Going to stay with rellies for a week, then booked into a caravan park for just over a week, Hello Pool!

Then, i'll be house-sitting for... *counts* about 3-4 weeks.( Looking after my Boyfriends grandma's cats, Zephy and Frankie.. Yes he has blue eyes. ).

So for about... three weeks, i don't think i'll have any interwebs, what with moving, getting everything disconnected, etc. The caravan park does have wireless, but i don't know 1) how much it is (yet), and 2) wether i'll have a chance to unload my laptop from the bag - got a lot of pool lurking planned for the week in the caravan park, lol.

Packing mode initiated, though it's hard to pack at the moment - treading the line between not packing enough, and packing, well, everything in one hit. (i'm good at packing. packed and moved and entire house worth of crap in 4 hours flat once.)

Probably end back up here in 5-8 months, to organise shipping for all the boxes, so it'll be nice weather - the winters up here are beautiful. I swear, if you ever go to the tropics, GO IN WINTER. seriously.

Depending on how crazy this packing makes me get, I may just make a list of all the stuff i'm not going to keep... I can already put down about 15 plastic shopping bags (emptied & re-used) of scrap paper and broken lead pencils and dead pens, lol!

HAPPIER TOPIC STARTS HERE!

So. I might be preggers! Had the blood test yesterday, so I'll know by the end of the week at the latest. In a way I hope I am... In a way I hope I'm not. Simply the wrong time to have a kid - and being heavily pregnant through a tropical summer (think 100%+ humidity 24/7) is *not* my idea of fun.

Since I was about Five, I knew exactly what I'd call a son (to hell what the father thought, heh.) and name him 'Michael Steven' - Michael for Mikey, my brother - I've 'given' Benjamin's name to my sister, since she wanted one of them but gave me the choice, and Steven for my uncle, who named me indirectly. (before he died, he'd apparently always said that if he had a girl, he'd name her Keirsty. (kirsty with an eeer sound instead of err sound. ) (can you tell I have to explain that one a lot?)

so yeah.

I am planning on putting up a few more pics... sometime... in the future lol.

I've been getting the itch to return to painting - I was never all that good, because I never really *applied* myself to the task at hand.. and as you can see with my (digital, at least) arts, thats changed. or changing. i'm still stuck with the slack fairy lol.

Oh Oh Oh! I should be working by the end of next week! (after a bit over a month of 'ow my head recurring migraines why god why pain' that has almost dissapeared, i've started hitting the work market again.
I've finished my traineeship, and now am qualified A02 Administration Offisar, so... that means i'm the general dogs-body lol.

not that i mind, though - money be money!

And I had an interview with a recruitment agency yesterday, and they tested my 1337-PC-ness-skillz and apparently I type at 43wpm, with 99% accuracy? I beg to differ... *corrects three typos in a row* o well. I won't argue! and something like 5100+ keystrokes in data entry (in like, 3 minutes) with 99% accuracy! (after not using a numeric keyboard pad for... about a month and a half!)

Got an interview tomorrow, too - admin for the Guide Dogs Assc. (aus). should be interesting!

Got the regional show starting tomorrow - only goes for three days, mind. good thing is, though, is that Friday is Family Day for the show... which = public holiday! yay! (not that i have any use for it at the moment lol)

Speaking of Typos... just watching a taped tv show (Good News Week, for those who know it) and gee - I hope I don't get found Gulity for anything! *roffles* (long story short - tv headlines badly misspelt. obesity - obstity, etc)

Traineeship Ovar! (updated)

this is funny. i finish my Cert 3 in business Administration tomorrow (20/4), but - it's a sunday!

which means i get paid an extra day for going in on monday - hooray!

i'll be doing so little that day - in the way of work anyway. i have to go up in the morning to sign a heap of forms to get paid for monday, so that will take a bit, considering that us trainees that are finishing will ave to stuff ourselves into a teeny room, at once, then i'll have to do some work i guess, then at about 11.30 or so, i'll be off to lunch with the area that i work with to say goodbye, and that will take at least an hour. then, at 1pm i have to traipse up to the place where i signed the forms in the morning, and get my last 2 modules signed off (produce complex business documents, and monitor a serivce to customers) and sign tonnes (seriously, about ten documents - though that is *nothing* as to what the rest of the book i've had to get signed looks like - think about ten thousand (ok not really but it feels like it)) of different documents to finalise this traineeship, and then i should be out of that office in hopefully an hour, so then i have 2 and a half hours to mooch around - though what the Aged Care team leader was saying (really nice lady - she was the first person i put on my resume lol) that i should be able to go home early, as i deserve it, for all i've done for the dept, in the way of i'm the IT person for Aged care - they barely know how to use PC's outside of the admin people, and i've made a feew cheat sheet walkthrough-y things for them.

The team leader also went on to say (this is when she shouted me lunch yesterday (18/4) ) that i should get an ABN, so i can be hired out by the area to do presentations, and make guides and suchlike for them when they get the tablet laptops for the OT's and PT's when they go out to do house visits to our clients. wh00t!

Well, the workday is over, and i did a grant total of no work. yay! I've signed a billion peices of paper in a trillion differnt places, and run up and dow the floors a lot, finalising things - i now officially have finished my traineeship!

Hooray! especially since i was offered a 3 week contract with possibility to extend starting monday in workplace health and safety. ^^ hooray moneys!

Quick Rundown time!

Kay, so IÂve finally made up with my aunt, who is getting married next month. IÂm wanting to make something for her, and IÂve got this picture in my head, that was sort of half formed when I started itÂ and now IÂm stuck. I wanted a pinky-mauvey-creamy unicorn running alongside a stormy bluey-purple Pegasus, with slightly darker wings than IÂve put on it. The Unicorn, I like, the Pegasus isnÂt quite done Â I want it to be smooth and shiny, as such, as opposed to the floofy furry unicorn beside it. (plus I think the Pegasus is too big, but that can be fixed.)

The biggest problem at the moment, however, is the background Â Or rather, the lack of it. IÂm at a total loss of what to do for it Â a green leafy foresty thing? A sunsetty running on cloud thing? Something completely different? Any ideas?

I know i've been away for, well, ages.
partially it has to do with no net, new full time job, and no net at home.

i've moved out of the sharehouse i was in, and am now in a rental to call my own .. sorta. fully furnished, 2 bedroom place, about three streets away from where I was.

another reason for not being online a lot lately (when i've actually had a chance to come online) is the fact that my cat got flattened about a week ago (and i've only really had a decent chance of being online int he last week.) he was only two. i fought to get him for over fifteen years, and i'd do it again to get him back... he's been cremated, and i'm carrying around a little thing of his ashes on a necklace now, seeing as i've just got him in the mail (I had to leave him in Perth when i moved to Cairns.)

So i guess i wont be on for a while longer, while I sort out the fact that he's really truly gone in life, but at least he lives on in my heart.

I've just (like, five minutes ago) been told that I have essentially two weeks to pack my bags, because the lady who was here before me, is bringing a friend. So, of course, I get booted. I homestly don't think thats fair, but what can I do?
I'm not exactly the most sociable person in RL, so I doubt that's helped.
at least I have notice. That is good. I don't really want to return to my aunts place, seeing as i'd be one of eight in the house, yet I dont earn enough to rent a unit. So I guess sharehouseing is the way to go. On the plus side, I don't have to pay rent for the next fortnight, since i've paid up till then. So thats a bit more power to me.
So I guess its another sharehouse i'll be off to. Sad
i'll update when I get more info on what i'll be up to.

Oh, I have come to a BIG decision, regarding my life and such. After talking with my Gran (who is like, the best person i can talk to when i'm down, or simply need to talk) I have decided that when I have truly found myself, I shall return to Perth, and get myself a car, get Temping (If I go back to a place I was before, I made one hell of a good name for myself there I can get work like, the next day ) get my brother into gear, and get a place for us to rent. Then, I shall go sort out TAFE ( [link] ), Finish my Diploma of Business Management, and open an art store. A GOOD one - something Perth is severely lacking.

I'm going to make the hand in Clay, for I am insane.
Just so you know - the hand stays in the same pose in each pic, the view changes, is all.

I decided I wanted to clayinate the hand.. and then realised that i'll have to get a LOT of the stuff - I want this lifesize. At least making a foil and wire frame will cut down on the clay needed.
and I KNOW i'm insane - I am going to do every.single.individual.scale.

Well.

Just a heads up to say that if I dissapear like, forever, that i'm not dead (hopefully).

Just had a huge falling out with my aunt, and she told me i'm not welcome in her house. evar. So, once the person i'm housesitting for comes back, in a few days, i'll be a homeless bum, unless I can get a place in, what, 2 days? tops?

Well, i'm off. thought I had till tomorrow, but, well, i don't.

as you know, i was kicked from my aunts, and took 'refuge' at my uncles. theyre divorced.

well, he, without telling me first, goes around sprouting off about how i'm not doing anything (findong a place wise - i was more concered about finding, oh, i dont know, WORK.) and that my room was messy - (clothes. a shirt, actually. srsly.) and suchlike.

well, that was fun and all, but now HE dosent want me, so i'll be moving - again - in a day or two, to a sharehouse. its actually pretty nice. I don't know how the internet status is, but i'll find out soon enough.

Phew. what a year.

well, its been some year for me. started off with me living with a friend, in march we had a huuuge falling out, and i havent talked to him since, lol, and i had to go back and live with mum.

turned 21 in april, and left perth for the rainforested, toad-filled expanse that is Cairns in june.

lived with my aunt ever since, and frankly, i'm sick of being one of 8 in a house.

currently i am housesitting, and once they come home, i'll be getting a rental place.

My plans for 07 -

to return to my Pi... man i miss that fleabag.
Also go back to perth in march, and meet my neice/nephew, and have my 22nd birthday there, and celebrate my mums engagement as well.

also I want a Thorny devil, but i'm pretty sure you need a licence for that. Look into it i must.

I wanna do more dragons. Buuut.. I wanna finish the one i'm working on first. (i.e. details. ugh.)

I promise i'll get to giving the promised prize in a club i'm in (cat lovers anon.) sometime within the next week - you won't believe the crap i've been going through with pay screwups and such.

(worked it out roughly with my aunt - if the chick survives to adulthood, since it'll be the tamest thing since ragdoll cats were invented, and if Ed (my lovebird) is still all really flighty and stuff, i'll let Ed back into the aviary to be with his brothers/sisters/etc, and keep the chick.) I'll get some pics when I can find the memory card for my camera. >.<

wow. its been a while since hte last update! xD

lol, I got me Mystery dungeon. I got Eevee on the first go, too, which is great, since thats who I wanted! ^^

so... while i'm trying not to throw the game at the wall since the legendary birds dont like me much (i.e. not letting me recruit them...) if you have the game and need saving in a dungeon, i have access to most of them. ^^ plus, i'll do it for free... i've seen some people wanting payment for it, but eh. i'll do it just for a thankyou mail!

i'm up to gold rank, mostly because i'm slack and dont do enough high ranking missions, though I did do a A level one today. escorting nidoran. i am so OVER the escorting, the stupid thigs keep ditching me and going the other way and killing themselves. why dont they like me?

as for the new av part of the title thingy, thats the team I use, and if your eyes dont bleed trying to read the tinsy text, it says 'team chareon'. since thats my team name, obviously. of course, it had nothing to do with the fact that I started as an eevee (that is now an espeon) and had my partner as a charmander... no.. not at all... *glances around*

Well, (mostly because I can) I thought i'd tell you all how taming Ed is going. Its going good.

Its cold here tonight, so when I took him out of his cage to give him a pat and stuff, he tried to climb up my shirt, (so he could attept to fly away) , and slipped into my shirt. XD seriously, he was 'climb, climb, cli-hey! why's it dark here?'

He seemed to decide that my bra seemed to be a good place to be - nice and warm and away from my scary cousins. That was about 3 hours ago, and i've just stuffed him back into his cage - he kept on trying to fly at me, to get back into my shirt.

I guess thats good...
In any case, he's seeming to realise that i'm not going to hurt him or anything. I make sure I give him new food, and millet (which he loves) and stuff, so its constantly me he's dealing with, instead of a bajillion differentpeople. (ok, 8. but still.)

buuut... yeah. I think thats all i have to say - he's pretty bitey, which makes me think he may actually be a she.. though if that were the case, i'd definetly welcome it - super tame babies! (via one of our flightless males. their wings are different sizes, so they cant fly... much. one can make some distance, Thud.. yeah, Thud. and Crash... he should be renamed 'nosedive.')

oh! I went out to Josephine falls today - BEWDIFUL! since the PC is being a stinky poo head, i'll be getting some prints done tomorrow anyway, so i'll scan a few in for your viewing pleasure. I'll put up a couple in sepia and black and white, too.

I wont be online for... god knows how long. i'm goin' east! Moving to Cairns, Qld.
I dont know how long it will take to get me a pc, or even acces to one. so... yeah. Though once i do get back online (depending where i am) i will have more pics and suchlike to put up - including some really good pics of where i am. :3

wow... this place is so... green! and mountiany! its so pretty! I got here on monday morning, arriving at like, 4.30am. bleh. had 20 mins sleep the whole time. sooooo tired. i couldnt get me a window seat, so i had a cry bout that, I was stuck with an isle seat. they suck. watched the pink panther movie on the way over, along with a mythbusters ep (seen it xD) and two and a half men ep. (dont watch it.) but at least it was a direct flight, no stopovers.

didnt do much yesterday, just beed slack. xD today htough, along with my aunt and 5 (count 'em, 5) cousins, went and did the touristy thing, while taking one of me cousins out to Asherton. we went and saw the Curtian Fig Tree (nop pics of that... ) and Lake... Eacham (i am sure ive spelt that wrong, lol) i think a few pics were taken of that... cant remember. lol. then we went and dropped off cuz, had lunch, and headed home. we got back here bout... 3ish? somewhere round there.

oh, and we had pizza for dinner. mmmm....pizza. xD

just been fightin off another cousin, who was just being annoying as hell, reading this over my shoulder, and banging on the keyboard. -.- *kills* xD

its weird, you know? such a small time difference (only 2 hours) and yet such a huge stupid weirdass lag... XD i'm running 2 hours behind the local time. XD

but its so pretty and rainforesty and mountiany here.

well, as no-ones no, except for Karan and she aint answering MSN (being AFK is no excuse...) i thought i may as well do this.

So. as you can probly see, Ive updated the deviations, addin 2 newies. If all goes well on monday, i'll be uplaoding a LOT more. i'll keep you posted. the first one, 'do do doo' is what i see when i look out my front door. seriously. theres mountians all over this joint.

The other one, with the platy, is a bit of sculpey, "lovingly" (i swear the malet had nothing to do with it.. *flees*) made from ... well, sculpey. Persently its waiting for My Porygon to get off his slack ass and tell me what colours he wants on it. *pokes offline slackassed porygon*

aaand... yeah. Lookin fer a Job... and applying for a few things, with any luck i'll get something - dear GOD i neeeeeeeed to get out of here (living with 5 cousins is... stressful. especially when the median age is like, 8 years old. and theyre ALWAYS fighting. wheres a 'morph supposed to get some peace?)

so.. yeah. thats all i can think of at the moment. :3 bai!
