Maybe you can send me your opinions... I'm talking about HDR.

Basically, HDR consists in merging three or more different picks with different tones and lighting in each one. The result is quite good some times, and not that good in others, but always estrange and makes you stop by and think about it.

I have tried my first HDR image... but I'm not happy with it



I'll try to make it better...

It is gonna be much better to to see some really good examples...

After thinking a lot, I bought a Sigma 10-20mm. It is not that good as the Canon lens I wanted to buy, but is much much cheaper, and nowadays I have not much money, so it is perfect!!! heheeh..... I bought it at B&H and I'm still waiting it to arrive... I've saved a lot of money including shipping and taxes!

I'd like to focus my photography in portraits... I really love them, but I haven't many opportunities for making shooting sessions with someone who wants to be my model...

Hope I'll find somebody soon...

By the way, I'm thinking in buying a new lens and I don't know which one... nowadays, I'm using a Canon EF-S 17-85 f/3.5 - 4 USM with my Canon 20D and I'm happy with it. I know it is not the best lens in the world, though. So, I would like to buy a better one... a little more lighting, more definition, etc and I've thought of Canon EF 16-35L USM What do you think?

I'm back at film photography... After some time shooting in digital format, I want to come back and try again with my old analogical camera... I'll have to open again my laboratory's door, put the lens in the enlarger and make the mix of all the chemical liquids I need. It's gonna be fun at least.... we'll see the results!!!

At the moment I'm shooting with my old Canon EOS 500... it is quite different from the 20D I've been using so far. It is really light, just with three focus points, not much light through the lens... I have to think every single shot!

For those of you guys who have never experimented with black and white film, I leave a link with an explanation about how it is developed [link] After that you need to switch on the red light and start to figure out how to put it in the paper!!!

Try it, I won't be disappointed....

Have you ever suggested any DD? Because I have suggested lots of them, I don't know exactly how many, but a lot. And none of them were accepted. I know not all of them can be accepted, but..... I was just thinking.... maybe it is the way it have to be, and is not that easy to get a DD suggestion accepted.

On the other side, I really would like to get a DD...... what do I have to do??? I suggest, but nobody suggest my work. Yes, could be my deviations quality.... too poor for getting a DD??? maybe.... I don't know..... The only thing I can say is that I'll keep working on my stuff until I get one DD.... and much later, of course!!!

Well.... maybe the best thing you can do is forget this journal and suggest a DD from any of your favorites artist......

I was just thinking..........

After two weeks of vacation, I'm back at the office again. I just can see the sadness hanging around... empty tables... no sun... no sea... no mood for working... but... it is the way it is!!!

The only thing I'm dying to do right now is download the pics I shot the last two weeks (they seem so far, already...) and work a little bit on them... I hope you'll see a part of that stuff soon...
