One day, Francis saw that Maurce was out buying groceries, so he started dancing like mad for hours and hours. Soon, it started to get dark.

"I wonder where Maurce is," Francis wondered, peeking out a window. "He has been gone a very long time."

Francis sat down on the couch, leaving a lamp on, waiting for Maurce to come home. When morning came, there was still no Maurce.

"I wonder what is taking Maurce so long. He has been gone a very long time." But still, Francis did not move from the couch.

He sat there for hours and hours, waiting for Maurce to come through the door with a smile and grocieries. But Maurce never came.

Finally, after what felt like ages, Francis got up from the couch, worried for poor Maurce.

That was when he noticed the smell. Curious, he followed it through the house. It wasn't a pleasant smell, in fact, it was very horrible.

After some searching, Francis found the cause of the smell. It was Maurce, dead on the floor. He had come in the back way and had a horrible reaction to the dancing and died instantly.

"Oh dear," said Francis.

By now, you've heard that Scott Jarkoff, aka °jark, is now a FORMER Staff Member.

I'm not privy to the whys, wherefores, and whatever-the-hells are going on behind the scenes here. Don't ask me anything about that. I know probably just as much as you do.

DeviantArt, in my opinion, is becoming less about COMMUNITY and more about CORPORATION.

So what we need to do is bring back THE COMMUNITY.

Here's my suggestion.

On August 7th, DA turns five years old. Five years for a website like this should be a grand affair, one big event.

So don't submit anything on August 7th.

I'm talking a print, a deviation, a scrap...nothing.

Instead, just leave a comment. Visit a user's page and just say hi.

If someone wants to buy a subscription that day, I'm all in favor or it. It'll keep the servers going, and anything that keeps the hamster running is a good thing.

BUT...I think folks shouldn't buy any prints. No print subscriptions. That goes against the COMMUNITY theme for the day.

We want to put the COMMUNITY back into DA.

If you're in favor of this, if you believe in the power this COMMUNITY has, then join me. Post this in your own journal. Spread the word to everyone, with a smile and a heart.

We might be touting at windmills like Don Quixote.

But if enough of us do it, we might be able to remind everyone that this is a COMMUNITY first and foremost.

Singing to my MP3s puts me in some goddamn good moods. I'd dance, but I dance in a way that is detriment to my health, and I'd end up smashing my head in and bleeding to death. Plus theres junk on my floor, and its one in the morning.

Music in general I'm listening to are my few Blues Brothers MP3s, mixed up with They Might Be Giants, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Moody Blues, and Barenaked Ladies with one or two MP3s of some other bands. All is lovely.

Though, I keep hearing voices OTHER than my MP3s in my head phones. And a secondary music track playing faintly in the background. I only hear them with the headphones on. First one: I indulge in hurting Elwood alot. I can't really say why because that'd spoil a part of it. Lets just say I have fun because I get to caugh pain and agony.

Second one: This is mere entertainment and nothing to serious. Just something to see how long/how much I would have to write until I believably demoralized Elwood enough so that he would kill a person on purpose. Like just going: I don't like you. -kills.-


Both of these would be a fun test of my writing ability.

Its morning. You step outside wearing something you dragged on this morning. You see someone walking down the street towards you. You tense up, scared. That person looked at you, didn't they? Yes, it seems they did. You try to get into the house as quick as you can, because you can't stand to be looked at anymore. You know that they're thinking you are an idiot for what you are wearing.

Later, you manage to go to the music place with a friend to buy music. But, after you pick what you want, you get scared. What if the guy at the counter is going to think you're a jerk and just plain stupid for the music you are listening to? You either end up putting the CD back, or handing the CD to your friend and begging him to go to the counter and pay. Meanwhile, you duck behind some shelves, and run to the other side of the store, where you peak beween lanes at your friend.

This is how most of my days are. I can't even buy food on my own, because my mind starts babbling insanely about how if I get seen with any food, that person is going to think I'm a pig.

Right now, I'm supposed to be on a pill for this, but me being me, I don't take it. Plus, I'm slightly worried because its a habit forming drug, and is only supposed to be given to persons over 18. The time I was prescribed it, I was 15.

Please, don't pity me either. Or don't do it openly. And don't say 'I'm sorry'. I hate when people apologise for something they had no hand in. This isn't a cry for attention, either. I just felt like talking about it.

In the meantime, I've been thouroughly down and out. Trying to cope with the idea I don't know where my mom is, and the fact I'll never see her again, and she won't be there for my sixteenth birthday, and she probably won't be there for graduation.

I've skipped school for the past 2 days, and I'm probably gunna skip today. I just don't have the heart for it. Hopefully the school and the school board will understand that I am in emotional turbulence, and that school won't do me a damn bit of good trying to keep myself calm. Its bad enough the slightest things get on my nerves now and cause me to grit my teeth. -sighs-

I'm just really hoping things start pulling up for me. Maybe get some money so as that I don't need to have a job. But, feh. My dad's waiting a bit before he gets the divorce papers. I don't think mom is gunna fight for anything in this house. So basicly, we got all her shit. We've got her cat. We've got the house only she wanted. We've got her clothes, her dresser. Her rings. God. I'm depressing myself. I can barely do certain activities without crying, because it drags up a memory of me and her.

I haven't done my Literature of War report. Woo. Because I didn't do one, single report, I'm going to fail, so he says. I fail to see how one report can count as 50% of the grade when only Mid-terms and Finals count as 50% of the grade.
