Today our focus is on

Artistic Nude

To look at the naked body of a stranger is both privileged and peculiar.

Nude Art is an appreciation even if it has been a controversial subject.

The observation of the naked body should be rather scientific and objective than regarded erotically or any other feeling that might delimit or transform the nude poser.

All depends on the myth of observation.

"The bareness of the naked body can sum up everything to which we aspire and everything we most fear. The body is the source of our deepest pleasures and traumas; our experience of the world is set by the way we experience our bodies. To be naked can mean humiliation, discomfort, or exposure, but it can also satisfy some of our most profound narcissistic and intimate needs. To see another person naked can reassure or alarm, satisfy curiosity or provoke guilt, arouse desire or disgust or both.

To deobjectify the body and show its nature, allows the revival of the figure as an abject subject, fully explored and critically examined.

By judging/considering the aestethics of the human body, this fact is by all means a proof to serve the very demonstration of narcissim..etc.

Nothing can beautify the human body, except its very own self.

The Digital Darkroom

All photographs benefit from being developed. With film this could be done at the print lab, or an inexpensive home darkroom. With digital, many cameras are set up to do basic photo enhancement (contrast, color saturation) immediately after a picture is exposed, and to deliver a finished product.
Setting up a film darkroom was primarily an issue of gathering the right chemicals and lighting; a digital darkroom consists of a powerful computer, a monitor and the use of specific software in order to replace the darkroom equivalents.

The most common actions used in order to enhance digital photos are:
enlarging, cropping, straightening crooked images, removing distortions, stitching panoramas, use of adjustments layers, dodging and burning, removing red eyes, adding borders or text, making collages.

Street photography

Street photography... a difficult art in photography, and surely the most ungrateful... needs a sharp glance, a great sense of light, lines, space and composition, a perfect technique, excellent reflexes and all that talents have to combine in a few seconds... without forgeting the photographer can't control all the elements, and the chance is a full part of street photography...

"Camera is for me a sketch notebook, the instrument of intuition and spontaneous, the master of the moment who, in visual term, wonder and decide on both. To signify the world, we have to feel implied in what we cut up through the lens. This attitude requires concentration, sensitivity, a sense of geometry. Without doubt, we can write a thorough editorial on world news and the significant changes this lovely blue globe have faced.
With the painful incidences that many have experienced we can clamor for change, for world peace and remind you all that borders are only if we allow them to be.
With climate change, affecting the flora and fauna –
pola bears and bumble bees declination and the melting of ice-bergs.
We hope that despite the distractions that we entertain –as citizens of the globe…you keep your eyes on the news…so as not to become indifferent to the worlds and its woes.

RETROSPECTIVE OF 2008

Speaking of distractions, one of the pastimes for us here is the enjoyment of art; in all its forms.


The incentive for Art Assembly Advocates is as follows:

We are a panel of art supporters who in awareness of a GM inability to highlight

Our agenda—while still in the works should proceed as follows:
Each month a member of the panel will highlight a particular genre that has had an impact on them. Along with this member’ exposé they will invite follow members of the panel to interchange thoughts ---calling to mind not only the image---but impressions that are invoked.

This article is set to be presented via a news article once a month.
However---as the assembly proceeds in development—we hope to be more active during the month.

While the word advocate might call to mind negative connotations, please bare in mind that we adhere to the definition 2: one that defends or maintains a cause or proposal 3: one that supports or promotes the interests of another.

Traditional Art

Traditional art as opposed to what?


One dictionay states:
traditional art as:

1. Art that is a part of the culture of a group of people, skills and knowledge of which are passed down through generations from master craftsmen to apprentices.
2. On an online art archive, any art created through the use of real media.

So what is its counterpart?

When the world of digital art started to rise its head and become a platform for more and more artist--there were some skeptical towards it.
In support of digital art --came the name DeviantArt--a stepping stone to validate those who were deviating from the world of hands on real life forms of creating.



Traditional Art to me is a world where one can touch--feel--smell and taste.
No computer program has yet been able to mold clay into a three dimensional object of beauty--
no mother board could handle the various liquid mediums that allow manipulation of pigments...
water--oils etc are curses to her programming.
That we today in 2009 --can refer to hands on approaches to art as traditional
call to mind long established systems that no one can deny.
Longevity and persistence for and of traditional art is guaranteed as children continue to create smeared impressions discovered via beets --blueberrys--leaves--and chocolate.
the point is --our means of creating via 3d...or realtime mediums by use of our six senses, as opposed to those generated by means of digital codes, testify that traditional art is not an old system of our parents or grandparents--but the backbone, the background of all forward venues...all progressive mediums to expedite art. by =SLPdomain


The counter-part would be the non-traditional art, or outsider art, which is not recognized as being "true art".
The definition of outsider art as it is known today is the development of the awareness of forms of creative expression that exists outside accepted cultural norms, or the realm of "fine art."
Everything from old beat up cars, sticks and recycled wood to brown paper bags to mud can be used when creating non-traditional art. Art is what one creates, whether it be on a piece of canvas or anything else (to some possible extent).


Behind each technique the artist uses to transfigure reality, there is always a place for the subjective discharge among other influences by which the creativity is amplified and expresses an emotion, ambiance or a multitude of characteristics.

From the most ancient forms of expressions, the trophies drawn by cavemen till the masterpieces we encounter, only one common purpose is prominent in the very details or mood the artist represents, his very own will & self projection.

Is Art Simply a Reflection of Our Personal Values?

It's fair to say that someone educated in the values of Renaissance art, and who therefore has a reasonable understanding of traditional painting, is less likely to regard postmodernist installations as art, than a person without such an understanding. Similarly, a person who loves TV and thinks museums are generally rather boring and unexciting places, is more likely to be impressed with contemporary video art than someone else who is comfortable with traditional museum exhibitions.
But because of this, one might say that a person's attitude to art says more about his or her personal values, than the art itself.
