Despite my best efforts, I'm writing a new story. I tried to stay with the novel I've been writing since November-honestly, I did try-but this new character, Jess...is really interesting. And new. And alluring.
(she's a murderer. o.o I never had a chance.) xD
Ironically, this came from the creative writing club at my school that I go to. We did this exercise where we created a new character. And I wanted to write a character that'd killed somebody and then immediately turned around and confessed. She's interesting, to say the very least.
So my poor 106-page-novel is getting deserted for a new idea. I'll get back to it...someday...try to finish it...haha.

Well, that's all I can think of.

I spent the whole day thinking about someone (wanted to forget, thought I did. for a bit. then my mom had us go to the grocery store. BAD MOVE.)
I just don't think I believe in love anymore. How can I? It's simply not possible. True romance...impossible.

Good news I suppose. I'm drawing more. Enjoying it.
Bad news. Haven't written a thing in a while. Well, I wrote a story-thing at school which I may start turning into a novel (I like the character. she intrigues me.) but I have to finish Ignition first.

...well, anyway. I'm gonna go take my emo self and play Sims. Sorry bout this.

I'm talking about the awesomest month in history.
Its name...was November.
(well okay November by itself isn't that awesome)
What happened in November?
NaNoWriMo.
For those of you who are staring at your screen, literal facial expressions of "wtf", NaNoWriMo stands for National Novel Writing Month.
You can see why it's shortened to NaNo.

Well, anyway. It's basically a month where you...well...write a novel. The word goal for our dear 30-day month is 50,000 words.
I'm happy to tell you that my word count, as of November 30th at around midnight, was 54,106.
I'm sad to say that I didn't actually finish the novel. (what do you mean, it has to be DONE? xD)

So, anyways. That's my excuse for not being on dA for a while--basically why I'm rambling.

I'm hoping to finish it soon--maybe before my birthday on December 10th, a little birthday present to me, or even December 8th, a little birthday present to Sherry. Or December 14th, a birthday present to my wonderful author-friend who dragged me into NaNo in the first place and encouraged me even as she soared to word counts wayy over 50k--but I'm thinking it might not happen. I know what's gonna happen next, what I need to write...words are just not putting themselves in sentences. Wrestling with words is hard.

Anyhoo! I'm gonna try to work on my little short story ideas, because...well...because they're for someone I know who's very sick right now...probably going to die soon, even. So, I'm going to work on them before my NaNo even, because she's someone I really look up to and love and I want her to see them.

...my cat is sooo talented. She nearly knocked a shelf over ontop of herself while she was bein' all cute and walking under it. She hates listening to me type/click/be on the computer. I personally find it kind of funny. She's glaring at me. Hahahahahaha.
