Having been born and raised a Hong-Konger, my direct influences at the time were mainly HK comics, and the most foreign being Japanese Manga. That really 'worked' in the sense that my aesthetic preferences were rather focused, and it helped me develop pretty rapidly in the respect -eventually being exposed to Western/European stuff which really set me off on a different mindset. I guess you'd call my education a very fusion based one.

These are some of the photos taken on my first day of SD, the day before SDCC, using my newly acquired NOKIA N73 that comes with a 3.2mega pixels Carl Zeiss lens and a 2gb memory card - the coolest camera phone i have so far. I can take 2000+ pictures for this trip! Yay! :)

I will be posting more nice pictures on the next 4 days of the conference, and I am really excited to meet all the cool artists!!

I've spent 4 hours just to submit some of my more decent works, adding comments and stuff. It was a long process, especially for a person like me who don't usually write. Therefore I dun really think there will be much to see in my journal in the future. But hey, I will try.
