School. Already not going so well. I've missed so many days and the semester has just started. Oh well.

Home life. Not so good, also. My beloved gran is seriously ill. Her doctor found three masses in her right lung. It seems her cancer has returned. I want to leave, so badly. I want to get out of California, but I'm scared to leave her. I don't think I could forgive myself if she passed away with out me being there with her, like I was for my granddad. I owe her so much.

CSS hates me, as usual.

Anyway, yesterday was Cruefest. The bands on tour included: Trapt, Sixx:AM, Papa Roach, Buckcherry, and of course Motley Crue.

Our seats were epic, despite the hooooorrible lack of shade. I drank the equivalent of 2 or 3 bottles of water and a Jamba Juice, and yet, I still wound up getting sick. Yep. Sick. Heatstroke. Soooo I didn't get to see Papa Roach and Motley Crue. (I honestly didn't want to see Buckcherry anyways) The bands I did see (Trapt and Sixx:AM) were awesome! See my gallery for a few pictures.

Of course this is all up in the air still, but just the thought makes me giddy. This time, I want to spend more time in Tokyo, and actually stop and walk around Kyoto instead of staring at it from the bullet train.

I'm excited to see my family again. They definitely made a life-long impression on me, even through the huge language barrier. No doubt, I will bawl like a small child with a skinned knee at our reunion.

Well, well, well...what have I been up to?

I found a kitten, or rather, I rescued one on the 21^st. He's maine coon, or so we think. (The mama, who's been running around for a while, looks like she's maine coon) The little shit is about 4 weeks old, and is already terrorizing me.

Originally, I decided on naming him "Chaucer" after the poet/writer, but according to my lovely mother, "That's a gay name". Thanks mom. So after much debate, we're calling him Lucius. (No, not after Lucius Malfoy, but after Lucius Verenus from 'Rome' )

Aaanyway...

Welp, time for an update, I think.

April came and left with out a hitch.

I turned 21 on the twentieth. Woo hoo!

My dad decided we were going to go to a local Indian Casino to celebrate. I did get to play the slots though, and I hung out in the bar. Other than that, it was pretty boring.

May is going good, so far.

I've decided that I'm going to transfer colleges and begin classes in order to get my RN (registered nurse) degree. I admit, I'd rather be a tattoo artist, and/or a photographer, but hospitals pay big bucks for nurses. Money is gewd.

Grr...Frustration (EDITED)

I'm ridiculously frustrated right now. -_-;

I've been looking at T-shirt reconstruction tutorials and had the stupid idea that I could somehow be capable of creating a t-shirt made hoodie. Oh how fucking wrong I was.

First of all, I've attempted to use my mother's sewing machine on numerous occasions, all ending up with my mother asking "How the fuck did you manage that?"

For some reason or another, all my thread gets bound around the bobbin in the bottom and jams the machine. I've been told, it's because I'm not using the right kind of tension on the thread or what-the fuck-ever. Either way, the machine refuses to move the needle/foot.

So now I have a hacked up black turtle neck, and a once perfectly-fitting second hand hoodie (that is now missing a sleeve), sitting on my kitchen table.

I'm so pissed I'm seeing red.

Someone please calm me down and teach me how to hand-sew? XD

Thank the Gods, Christmas is over!

Christmas day was uneventful and boring, as per usual. My family and I went over to our long time friend's house for Christmas dinner and presents. (Both of which, sucked balls, except for the stuffing and chocolate cake.)

Anyways, what did you all get? Anything interesting? What was your worst gift? lolol.
