What's our club about: you've seen pictures of a weird pikachu that looks like Ash from the pokemon anime, with his eyes, hair and hat? wondering how that little guy became popular? Well here is where Ashachu made his debut:

Our club is focused on gathering all fans of This adorable little guy, and just having fun, discussing theories, how to bring him back, ideas of what could have happened while he was transformed, and sharing lots of art/fanfics about him!

Many enter here because of the transformation part, and other because of the cuteness, whatever is your reason, if you like Ashachu (Fan name we gave him) You came to the right place!

Updating!

A FEW THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFOREHAND: All (with a few exceptions) Of the pictures that are uploaded to the club, Must be faved on the Artist page, We ask you to please look at the artist comment and fav the original work, the gallery is mainly to promote the artists artworks, not the club. If people keep faving the pics in the club gallery we shall be forced to put a Blackbar with the white letters "DO NOT FAV" in every pic we upload. But im sure you understand with this already ^^

GET FEATURED IN OUR GALLERY!: Our club is getting bigger, and better with the time, and in return, more people visit it everyday! Help us spread the Ashachu Fandom around by letting us submit your Ashachu pictures! and in return you get more visits on your page

If you have a picture, being old or new, and want us to feature it in our gallery, just send a note With the tittle "Gallery Submit" and we'll display it in our gallery right away!

Just a few rules thought:
1: It can be a picture where Ashachu isn't the main character, but He must appear in the picture ^^
2: No sexual themes. We tolerate some blood and violence but that's it.

NEW JOURNAL SYSTEM: Already mentioned it, but shall do it again for whoever doesn't know, the club haves a new journal system now where we separate the contest, members, etc into different journals, to keep better control, You can access all those journals from the top of this one ^^ which shall be the main one.

Originally, I had a big rant here about posting spam on the club and how if you do it, you're banned. However, I've been informed that what has actually happened is a mass password hack of various deviants, that posts this garbage without their consent. If you see a link from a friend asking you to "go check out this link!," DO NOT CLICK! Verify from your friend that it's something harmless - if they can't, or they have no idea how the post got there, it's a link to a phishing page, and you should mark it as spam right away so no hapless visitor to your page clicks!

Contest Rules
1. Themes: All entries must fit either one of two themes - drawing Ash as either a Pichu or a Raichu, or a Chu-cousin (Plusle, Minun or Pachirisu); OR drawing Ashachu together with Pikachu in some sort of scene or situation.
2. Entries can be either colored or non-colored.
3. Backgrounds are not necessary. You won't get punished for lined paper, either, if that's all you have. We care about the quality and/or passion of the art, not what it's drawn on.
4. Any medium is okay.
5. No porn or anything other than mild violence. Mild violence and/or mild innuendo is okay; I'm an adult.
6. Submit only your art, please.
7. If you've already won a contest here; you cannot enter again for a little while.

A very hesitant time cutoff for entries is March 10th; though that may change depending on how many entries we get. It could end sooner or later...so get drawing, folks!

Welcome to the sixth installment of This Week in Ashachu!

Firstly, I want to apologize sincerely for the long delay between updates. What happened? Well, I can't answer for my fellow admins, but what happened to me is that I graduated college and got an apartment.

I was really very busy and the club is unfortunately something that got lost in the shuffle

No more of that, though! Now that I have much more free time, you should see more of me at least (as for the other admins...they'll be here when they're here ^^ I noticed Colby was answering posts here just the other day

And now to important club business. ^^

Contest! You voted, and it is finally here - the (third, I think) official Ashachu-Fan-Club contest! The top two winning themes in the poll will be the themes for this contest...

Contest Rules
1. Themes: All entries must fit either one of two themes - drawing Ash as either a Pichu or a Raichu (Evolution/De-evolution - however, I have decided to expand this slightly to allow the 'chu-cousins as well, so feel free to create an Ashaplusle, an Ashaminun, or an Ashirisu XD ) OR drawing Ashachu together with Pikachu in some sort of scene or situation (Buddies). I decided to offer two different themes for the sake of people who may not have liked one; to allow for variety and, therefore, more fun!
2. Entries can be either colored or non-colored.
3. Backgrounds are nice, but not necessary. You won't get penalized for not having a background. You won't get punished for lined paper, either, if that's all you have. We care about the quality and/or passion of the art, not what it's drawn on.
4. It doesn't matter if it's digitally drawn or hand-drawn. It would be nice to see some hand-drawn entries this time, but whatever medium you would like to use is fine.
5. No Rule 34 (i.e., pornographic images). I'm an adult and can allow a certain degree of off-color humor/situations, or mildly violent images, but please, if you have submissions of this type, let me approve them first. Simply note me at the club or at my main account,

6. Submit only your art, please.

7. Any member of the club, including myself and fellow admins, is allowed to participate providing they have not already won a contest here at the Club. If you've won once, you cannot enter again for a little while. This is being done mainly to allow other people a chance, and so the same people don't win over and over again.

Welcome to the fifth installment of This Week in Ashachu!

Firstly, let me wish you all a Happy Halloween! Stay safe - don't eat too much candy (watch out for the melamine!); carry a flashlight; be careful not to get caught when you go out with your eggs and your toilet paper to "redecorate" a hated person's house...all the usual stuff.

I may do a little something here for the Club for Halloween as well, so keep an eye out... ^^ Also, for all you Americans, be sure you go out and vote if you're old enough! If you don't vote, you have no right to complain if you don't like who gets in XD

And now to important club business. ^^ Sorry for the slow update, but I was rather busy (I have only a little over a month left of college before I get my bachelor's, and I'm getting pressured on all sides to start applying to grad schools, as Student Loans hover threateningly overhead.

Quick Update on the Inner Strength situation, to those who are following the story: I have no idea if founder

still intends for me to finish it for him. When I last talked to him, he seemed really torn between whether he wanted to do the writing, or not. So, I don't know what the heck's happening anymore, which is why I haven't started any work on the next Inner Strength chapter, or done anything more with the

account. We'll see what happens in time...

Contest Update: Evolution/De-evolution seems to be the top choice for the next contest, with "Buddies" (drawing Ash together with Pikachu) close behind. Those would do nicely for the next two contest themes, I hope!

But we still have the problem of what to do for the winner...I'll declare the first of these contests officially open next week if the other Admins agree (and if you all are open to the idea), but let's try and figure out what we can do to award the winners first.

Also, a second question - do you think we should allow Admins (myself, Lightsaga, Colby, Coshi, Nenilein, Anime-Manga-Freak) to enter the Contests? Or is it unfair? Also, for this next contest, I expect to see a lot more voting going on - only seven votes were cast last time, and two of those were by one person XD Don't hesitate to make your voice heard!

Still open to CSS suggestions. Wanna see some different colors? Gotta better piece of art for the top? Just say the word! Also, club submissions are still open. Wanna submit a work we'll host right here in the club so all our watchers will see it? Just leave a comment or send us a note!

Welcome to the fourth installment of This Week in Ashachu!

Well, we gotta talk first things first...

Colby thought it would be a good idea if I addressed the following here in the club.

This being the Ashachu-Fan-Club, many of you were doubtless readers and fans of the Ashachu fic being written by our founder, Colb-a-Nater (and if you weren't, feel free to skip ahead to the other news

). Many of you also already know that Colby called it quits on Monday, declaring that he was not going to be writing any more (and if you didn't know, now you do!). "Yeah, so what?" some of you may be thinking. "We already know about this. What more needs to said on the issue here in the club?" Well...not much, admittedly...but there are a few things I want to say. Firstly, and most importantly, I really doubt Colby will be changing his mind...and honestly, he seems to be feeling happier than he has in a while with that weight off his shoulders. All those of us who are fans can do is accept it and withhold any further complaining...and accept yours truly, Pinkparkagirl. Why? Because...Colby asked me to be his replacement - a heavy responsibility, to be sure!

Now, I know I am not Colby, and I never will be...but if Colby trusts me enough to hand over his story to me, I just ask that you respect that, and not give me grief for it because I'm not exactly like Colby...I'll be doing my best to make something that he will be proud of...

There's nothing there so far, but all the old chapters (betaed, this time!), and future new chapters, will be posted soon enough. If you're interested, add it to your watch! But for now, let us reflect with the various Inner Strength fanart pieces...

And now, for the other news. It's about time, isn't it? ^__^ As you can see, we have a subscription now! -Although we're not going to be hosting another contest immediately, we want to know what ideas people have for the next contest theme. Some ideas include drawing Ashachu in a unique style, imagining if Ashachu evolved (or de-evolved!), Ashachu in certian situations...what would you like to see?

-Also, a special request. Our admin,

is having a bit of trouble right now. Please...pray for him, hold him in your thoughts, wish him well, or do whatever meshes with your belief system. I won't talk about what happened - just know that he probably won't be online for a while....

Welcome to the second installment of This Week in Ashachu!

First things first...I'm very disappointed in all of you

Not a single person voted for a contest winner! I was hoping to have the contest all wrapped up by now so we could move on to another one, but now I can't...oh well, you guys were probably busy or something.

If we STILL don't get any votes this week, however, judging will be left solely to the admins, and do you really want that? So vote! Make your voice heard!

How to Vote for your Favorite: Simply comment to this post. That's all there is to it! Things to keep in mind when voting, however:
-Don't simply vote for the piece you think is best drawn. Consider other qualities as well - does the piece look like a lot of time went into it? How does the design look? If there's a background, does it mesh well with the work? How well does it convey the main theme - Ashachu? Everyone deserves an equal chance, so keep in mind all facets of what makes a great piece of artwork when you cast your vote ^^

Also, everything I said about prizes in Volume One still stands.

"Now, I'm not the world's most spectacular artist, so I doubt the promise of your very own genuine piece of PPG art goodness will do much to inspire you to pick up your pencils for future endeavors. So I ask you, our members - does anyone want to volunteer their services to providing prizes to contest winners? As long as you can draw reasonalby well and don't mind requests, we'd be glad to have your services! (And in a pinch, I can always do prize stuff too).

Of course, once we get a subscription (I'm working on it), we can offer even more to contest winners...but I will leave that for a different update."
