Went up to Bristol for KuroSHITZuji shoot where my stick-skinny but nonetheless awesome win ciel and I had to brave the rain, freezing temperatures and 100kmph winds to have our shoot OTL. Thankz to who arranged the entire thing for us and acted as photog/helper/mobile cafe for the entire day and to Jessica, Tracy and Crash for coming along to shoot for us. Bristol feels alot bigger than Nottingham which I have now affectionately dubbed as NOTHING-HAM. I do love the place because it's so nice and peaceful, but the calm grates on me after awhile. Went up to Stonehenge with and had to tie her to myself so she wouldn't get blown away by the winds XD By a stroke of ....luck/misfortune, our stupid bus driver told us Bath was Trowbridge and we got off at the wrong stop and missed out connecting train to Salisbury for Stonehenge, but I got a look at the beautiful architecture there and saw the outside of the Roman baths and managed to get to Salisbury in the nick of time to still see Stonehenge, and the stones were much bigger than I expected. Despite the huge number of tourists, and the fact that it's just a clump of rocks, that place still feels mysterious and awe-inspiring~

Then down to London again, had quite a few trips and thank you SO MUCH to for hosting me so many times on your floor all the time I came to freeload off you We went to watch the Abingdon Boys School concert and SHIT WAS IT GOOD. TAKANORI IS LIKE PROBABLY 40 YEARS OLD ALREADY AND HE'S SO HAWT AND SO FILLED WITH CHARISMA THAT I WAS FANGIRLING OVER HIM. His singing...is nothing short of impressive and his stage presence just BLOWS YOU AWAY. His band was awesome too, all hawt ojijis LOL. It was totally worth it standing in the rain for 1hr + waiting to go in they were just stunning <3 Jackee brought me on a whirlwind tour of many places in London too, we went to Camden Street, London Bridge, we went on the London Eye, The Globe ZOMG THE GLOBE SHAKESPEARE <3 (and we had an excellent tour guide I'd like to add and I bought shakespeare merchandise lit geek I am), saw Big Ben, went for the Christmas fair at Hyde Park (I'm convinced Xmas is German) and we went to Picadilly Circus where we watched the Lion King musical and for an adaptation of a movie where everyone is an animal, I WAS VERY IMPRESSED, I bought the soundtrack, and I would have bought the simba soft toy had Jackee not stopped me so nuff said.

Next up was Oxford where I free-loaded off my cute suzaku chan We shot in a beautiful church...err......Church of the virgin mary I think? and we got permission to do some shots in the inside the courtyard of one of the oxford university buildings (right outside where they shot the Harry Potter infirmary scenes hohohoho) Love to for travelling all the way down from London to shoot for us and help with make-up and other misc jobs hurhur. I thought Bristol's weather was bad, Oxford for all it's sun, was a kazillion times colder and just as windy OTL. MY INCREDIBLY OVERDUE J-POP CON REPORT


VERY GOOD. Way way way better than London Expo, I'd have to say it's actually one of the better organised events I've been too, chaotic yes, but an organised sort of chaos. It just reeks (is this even a good word?) of fan-made-ness. It's the kind of event one goes to and the "by the fans, for the fans" ideology permeates into every corner of the event. It reminds me of the good ole days of Singaporean cosplay events...my suntec MAC EoYs....for the Singaporeans think of J-pop con as SoY, on a BIG scale and hosting WCS

I didn't quite like the event venue because it was kinda small, J-pop con seems to be an event that has quickly outgrown its event venue because its just so good that it's popular, but I hear it's upgrading to a better venue (again) next year so joy Too bad I won't be there to see it. I didn't really get to see the merchandise booths because I was busy with my panel (YES I HAD A PANEL AND IT WENT BRILLIANTLY EVEN THOUGH I DIDN'T KNOW WUD ON EARTH I WAS DOING. P.S. thank you to those who came for it and the awesome PC guy who found soya pics lol) and WCS judging and just dramu in general (oh lol). But I hear it's the usual stuff you get in western conventions :/ I makes me feel really grateful that I'm in Singapore and we have KKnM (SINGAPOREANS, PLS TREASURE KKNM AND KINO, THEY'RE THE MOST AWESOME THINGS YOU CAN GET OUT OF JAPAN) I like how they have panels, I spent most of my time at panels, oh woe is me, but they were good panels so yeah. At least they don't leave their WCS reps floundering *coughs*.

I've been told that J-pop con organisation is bad, and dudes THAT IS A TOTAL LIE. You want bad organisation? You go London Expo, that was absolutely HORRIBLE, for a fans-by-fans con, I'd say J-pop con is very well organised compared to alot of other similar events I've been too, and I think a selling point is the people. Though I'd say the same thing about malaysian cons. Amazing audience, I'm amazed at how many people sat through the entire cosplay comp, PEOPLE ACTUALLY CARE IN DENMARK *sniffs* it warms my heart to see it The cosplayers are generally friendly, though me being obviously NOT Danish and not being able to speak Danish was a MINUS MINUS MINUS point. I think I stood out like a sore thumb, I had more make-up on my face than 5 danish cosplayers put-together (this was a running joke throughout sat and sun) though it was lovely having ppl come up to me and telling me I was pretty (you never get that in singapore unless they're stalker ojijis OTL) I met amazing people, the cosplay comp participants, RXJ I love you gals, thankz for keeping me company on the 2nd day and introducing me to your friends, YOKUME CHAN~~ , and wedding peach, you were such a sweetie, and it was nice talking to the Code Ghey-ass people too <3 AND THE BLACK LAGOON(swedish?) TEAM, MY LOVE FOR YOU IS ETERNAL AND INFINITE, PLEASE ACCEPT IT <3

I was lucky enough to have , and as my fellow judges who gave me the most beautiful crack ever and spoke ENGLISH to me. SO SHOOT ME WHEN I SAY PLS DO THE OPENING/CLOSING SPEECHES IN ENGLISH NIELS. Firstly, I will admit that I'm posting this on devart rather than my LJ because I have alot of overseas cosplayers watching me and this seems like the kind of issue that alot of you might have interest in. If you're Danish, even more awesome, we're giving a panel tomorrow at 11am so you can ask questions....which imho is absolutely ridiculous, this NEVER happens in Asian countries, so I'm Asian at heart...sue me...


I was very kindly invited to judge the Denmark WCS round @ J-pop con by the organizers who I met at this year's WCS, and it was a really big honour for me because I've only judged a couple of small competitions and karaokes before this. My fellow judges were bell and iris, the 2 german reps for WCS 2009 and Nadia, a highly respected italian cosplayer who's also been a past WCS contestant. Personally I felt this was a good move on the organizers part because firstly, we don't know any of the contestants which reduces bias and at the same time the judges have had first-hand experience at WCS (most of us the recent one) I confess I've never judged anything of this scale before but I've been cosplaying for well on 7 years now, and I've attended cons in 7 countries and done WCS, so I think that at least gives my opinion some backing.


There was apparently some "scandal" though that might be exaggerated because I have yet to see for myself the extent of this dissent over the judges choice for the Danish WCS representatives for 2010. (I'd like to add it happened approx 4-5 hours after the results were announced and the unhappy parties complained to the organizers which led me to think firstly...wow...lag....secondly, why on earth are you guys making it difficult for the organizers, shouldn't the blame go to the judges if you're not happy about the decision?) And although I can understand why our choice may have seemed unorthodox, I did mention why we chose who we did before we annouced the results, which I will elaborate further on in awhile. I have also led to understand that part of the anger was due to

1. what was seen as the organizers and judges to coercing a team who originally was not running for WCS into taking part

2. for the "three degree interrogation" that the 2 teams that we were highly undecided upon were subjected to (4 judges, it was split 2/2)

An overview of the situation. No point not mentioning names since you guys will obviously google and I'm pretty sure you'll find out who I'm talking about 1 min within reading this post, and I reckon our names (judges) must be all over 4-chan by now (kazzy, rika, be proud of me, i've finally made it to 4-chan HAHA)

The 2 groups that the judges were pretty much undecided about were mononoke and halloween kingdom hearts. When I say we were undecided what I mean was, 2 judges rooting very very strongly for 1 team and the other supporting the other team all the way. My personal choice was Halloween kindgom hearts.

Mononoke was what I would call a technically good choice for WCS. They had excellent workmanship, beautiful costumes and they had a couple of props which were nice, although there was some technicality issues about it which I will not go into. However, their skit was nothing stunning, it was good considering the nature of the series, basically a scenario of the medicine man exorcising a demon and I felt it did indeed capture the essence of the show, but they lacked what I call the X-factor.

Now you may not think much of the X-factor, but I would like to point out that Japan won this year's WCS competition, and in all honesty, they did not have the best costumes, nor the best skit, but I felt they had something that was lacking in many other teams. There was a quality about their performance that cannot be explained in anything other than an urge to sit up and really pay attention to what they were doing.

J-pop con gave me beautiful costumes and some really awesome(amusing) skits, but I can safely say, the only team that made me sit up in my seat and pay attention (both figuratively and literally) was the Halloween Kingdom Hearts team. They did not have the most elaborate costume, in fact I didn't even notice them until bell pointed them out to me during pre-judging, and even then I didn't really take note. Even when they came on stage they didn't feel very professional or particularly amazing, but when they started their performance, I was......for lack of a better word, enthralled. Secondly, please don't ask me what London is like T.T I spent 70% of my time at the con, 20% at 's place and 10% on the tube. The tube is kinda like MRT, but narrower, and stinker at some points LOL.

A warning in advance, this is a very truthful account of my exp with the con, and it probably won't make you very happy if you're very pro-london expo



Definately one of the largest con I've attended by far in terms of numbers, I'd say possibly as many as manifest or even more? That being said, I'd follow up with, also the biggest con that seemed least prepared for the amount of people they were going to handle. I was vaguely amused that they stuffed all their stalls/booths/cosplay stage what-not into one hall, and had an entire other hall for ppl to queue to get tickets. Crowd-control was good but I suspect it was more because ppl were polite and responsible and bothered to stand in lines rather than on any part of the organizers. We were basically being shouted at for no clear reason, because the queue was pretty orderly.


The queue in front of the hall was an absolute mess and while I can agree that shouting was in order, I don't think it justified a "WOULD YOU PPL FUCKING GET IN LINE", I thought a " GUYS MOVE THIS WAY PLEASE" or even without the please would have sufficed. I can safely say that out of all the cons I've attended, Singapore, Malaysia, Aussie and Japan, this is easily the worst organized one of all (although I did expect it to some extent considering how unupdated the website was). I queued for 2 hours on the first day, which wasn't too bad considering how many people there were, but what really pissed me off was how rude the lady at the ticketning booth was, I'm sorry that I'm not local, do not know shit about your con and that your website totally doesn't have any info regarding on-the-day ticketing and there are no signs to inform me that "no, I cannot get the next day's tickets on sat" (which is incredibly inefficient imho) and there was really no need to be so snappish when I was clearly rushing to get my money out for you since I had no idea how much the tickets were....-.-" But to even it out, we had this really awesome guy Robin and his cute lolita friend (whose name I have forgotten shoot me) from Netherlands who we socialized with throughout, while we karaoked with my ipod and attracted more attention than we should have (but in a good way) So basically only went in on day 1 and we covered the entire hall in less than 2 hours, which was vaguely ironic haha....

Onto the hall itself. I have been spoilt rotten by Sg/Malaysia cons because I was totally taken aback by the lack of fanworks. The artist alley was pretty small as it was already, barely even 1/4 the size of last year's Comic Fiesta's one. Overall, I didn't see alot of really good quality artworks (WHERE HAVE ALL THE EPIC UK PPL ON DEVART GONE?) but there was alot of original works. It's a good place to exhibit original stuff I'd say, but if you want fanworks of the likes that we get in Asia, forget it, don't bother. The price of merchandise was exorbidant, but don't take my word for it, I'm from Singapore and the exchange rate is 1 pound to sing 2.2 so yeah. I saw artbooks that I can get in SG for $40 in kino for 40 pounds at the con. I've been told that the booths are ridiculously ex so that might explain it? On another note

I've been thinking of selling off a couple of old costumes, because I have about 50+ costumes in my collection and my house has pretty much reached bursting point. Some of the stuff I want to sell are old tailored costumes, so workmanship quality is guaranteed. Self-made...err...err...BE FOREWARNED LOL. The thing is that I'm not so much concerned about the price I sell it off at as much as I want my outfits to get a good home. Even if the base is tailored, I usually clock in quite a few hours doing other stuff to the outfits so I sorta have a sentimental attachement to them :/

Posting this journal entry to sorta just test the waters if anyone might be intersted.
I'm prety short YO about 158 but my costumes are meant for ppl around 160-165 cause I very almost always wear heels when I cos.

But the awesome organizers for J-pop Con, Daniel and Adrian (I'm assuming Adrian is somehow behind this somewhere??!!) invited me over to judge for Denmark's WCS qualifying rounds since I'm in the vicinity *coughs* read SAME CONTINENT and since it's paid for (well, at least the impt parts) I'M GOING (HOMG SO EXCITING) I'm vaguely amused by the fact that Jill and I have been asked to judge for Aussie/Germany/Denmark's rounds but not our own Singapore round...WE SHALL SEE...hmm..

ANYWAY, 6-8 Nov Denmark, possibly albit earlier since it's reading week aka no classes woot, Copenhagen if I'm not wrong, I seriously need to get up to date with European Geography, I'm a disgrace to Geographers all over the world OTL Which means I'm not going to Fantasy Days in Germany anymore T.T I'M SORRY PUKA!! But going to drop by erm...hm...I'm not even sure which state, do they call it states? I'm pretty sure they call it something else, but anywayz, spending the New Year's with the lovely and and Patrick XD OSSU Kie and Kiki, I'll send you gals love from Germany

All things considered...I think Florence and Italy are being kicked out the visiting list because I don't have enough funding T.T Train down to London is not cheap *sighs*

okay granted that I missed like what almost 80% of what happened in the middle because I just threw up my hands in despair and went WTF when I saw what they did to subaru and seishirou....oh Clamp why couldn't you have just left X alone, it was undoubtedly your best and angstiest work ever (I'm evidently not a great Tsubasa lover, can you tell?)

Just because I wanted to be able to nod and go, uh-huh and actually have some idea of WTH the people around me were talking about when they went off on some tsubasa rantage I've been reading summaries on wiki, which might I add is supposedly the most IDIOT-PROOF SUMMARIES THAT EXIST ON THE INTERNET? I mean it's practically like "okie here, this happens, that happens, this is how it ends" totally idiot proof and despite that, I've been like...huh, who, what at the tsubasa plot summary on wiki and mind you I can't possibly be that stupid considering I'm on a scholarship and all....

I'm not too sure about the validity of it and accuracy, but I MEAN A WIKI PLOT SUMMARY AND I DON'T UNDERSTAND IT? okie so erm...there's this thing with fay and his twin and something about stealing eyes and syaoran not being syaoran and then something about a syaoran sakura clone and then WATANUKI IS WHOSE SON? no wait, he's not, wait syaoran is syaoran's son? and yuuko is kinda dead but not....HOOKAY From a person who does not follow the series and bases their knowledge entirely on wiki updates, it seems like CLAMP JUST LOST IT AND YEAH...I DUNNO

I mean plot twists, yeah baby, clamp does lovely plot twists and cleverly manages to tie all their loose ends up, have you read MKR or Clover recently? but...TSUBASA DOESN'T EVEN HAVE A PLOT TWIST, IT'S A FREAKING PLOT HELIX, quoted from the lovely stick <3 who apparently attempted to explain tsubasa to kaz together with rain and failed because honestly, you'd have to write a thesis paper to outline this massive madhouse of a story. Even people I know who follow tsubasa devoutly lost it sometime around the part where quote "fay got a twin??!!"

This is an utterly pointless rant because I'm trying to cover tsubasa in the span of 3 days because I decided that ohh lovely I like the black dress and I'm going to cos that with Jill next year so we can be twins even though we look nothing alike. uni is pretty okay, starting classes tml, the campus is GORGEOUS, huge big big lake and honestly I tell you, CG cosplayers would have a ball of a time here, THE SCENARY JUST SCREAMS ENGLISH DESU, even the uni campus XD

moved into permanant accomodation, Broadgate Park, sharing a flat with 1 china girl (who disappears frequently), 1 german girl who is seldom around, and 2 denmark girls, one of which is a clean freak but they're both pretty friendly

place is old and kinda sucks lol, but livable, ppl are generally nice
Random encounter of the day, lady at Natwest bank thought I was american LOL, apparently I have an american accent? LOL? I am AUSSIE LOLOLOL anywayz, yes NATWEST ROCKZ SOCKS, NEVER GO TO HSBC, they refused to give me an account because I had no visa hldhglsglgkskljflks rawr

my LAN port is damaged and the bloody SNS *coughs* student network service*coughs* is giving me much grief
Therefore, I HAS NO INTERNET, i'm sitting in broadgate park cafe now leeching, which is what I shall probably be doing for the next few days T.T OTL Probably forever if I never get my laptop out of SNS quarantine

I'm loving it here, made a few friends,but not really anyone I can click with yet :/

Explored Beeston town which is next door to Broadgate Park, nice small quaint, BORING, joined alot of CCAs, singaporean society, japanese society (NO ONE HERE DOES ANIME/MANGA EXCEPT THE PRES OTL), christian union (so I went to church on sunday, jade and jill pls be proud of me), chocolate society (yes we just eat chocolate) and flaire society (learning how to mix drinks)

Went to explore the city center yesterday by myself because it's so ineffeicient going out in big groups, the singaporeans are like a freaking democracy, not that it's bad, but they take so long to decide things. Rika I found this alternative jewellery shop that sells pretty gothic jewelley, lemme know if you want anything, I can go help you look. Went to nottingham castle, pretty cool, students get free entry XD got lotsa photos to upload hurhur

Going to newstead abbey this coming weekend and hopefully I'll be able to go to london soon
Planning my dec holidays, current tour plan is Paris>>Venice>>Florence>>Rome. Denmark is a no-go, Germany is planned for the event, quick one-weekend thing, 5 days if I can manage to skip class which I'm trying not to, Dublin over a weekend and same for lake district and stonehedge and that's about all I'm doing. OH AND STAYING WITH MICHY TOO~~ <3

Currently in Nottingham and loving it, it's lovely, this outdoor air-con weather

I have epic plans for a weekend trips to Paris and Dublin, explore Nottingham, London, see stonehedge, a one week trip to Venice and Germany sometime for an event. THIS IS GOING TO BE ONE AWESOME AWESOME SEMESTER XD I really feel like shipping lizzy over because of the castles, but I dunno where the costume is OTL

(and hopefully I don't fall sick, I don't get medical coverage cause my term is less than 6 months, so thank god I brought a pharmacy in my baggage HAHA)

If anyone's in UK and wants to meet-up, for like the first time ever, POKE ME K. I wantz to meet moar ppl, 4 months is too short to enjoy this beautiful country where the sky is perpetually gloomy and the rain never stops. I would have thought it would made me depressed, but it's awfully calming on the nerves....

I WANT TO BE EPIC *cries*
I want to be able to sew amazing stuff like what the US contestants did, that amazing flower card, I want to be able to make epic props like Aussie peeps that make ppl go...HOO MAN, I want to be able to create epic set-ups like Aly and K at their preliminaries, I want to be able to make epic armor like cvy, I want to be able to make epic weapons like daniel and JUST BE EPIC IN GENERAL. But I can't...


My sewing skills are only halfway there, prop making skills....daniel prefers it that I try not to help him when he paints OTL

All I can do is photoshop and my skills are so minimal, not epic like kazeki's, and WHAT'S THE FREAKING POINT IF I CAN PHOTOSHOP IF I DON'T LOOK GOOD IN REAL LIFE.

For that matter, so what if I look good and I phail at my costume? I don't want to be ghetto anymore T.T I want to do things properly, costumes without fraying ends on the inside, without obscene amounts of duct tape and UHU, with proper lining and overlocking and NOT MAKING EVERYTHING FROM THE CHEONGSAM PATTERN....

And don't give me that rubbish about how everyone in Singapore tailors and because I can vaguely somewhat barely sew I'm okay, because it's not okay. If I keep looking to the people directly around me I'll never improve... T.T

I require more epic in my life!!! RAWR

7) I didn't always have this thing for angsty endings, when I was younger, say primary 1, I liked Sailormoon just because the good guys always win in the end XD
8) I'm highly motivated by a need to prove myself, I tend to do great epic at the lowest times in my life. i.e. WCS and TB

It all started with version 1. I did quite abit of research before I did my gown, watched episode 6/7 of MF about 5 times and hunted pics on cure/cosplay.com/DA of anyone who had made that gown, which wasn't alot at that point of time because MF was still pretty new, and decided that velvet was totally the way to go. And I told myself, ahh..singapore sure have pretty velvet de, and GUESS WHAT, THEY RAN OUTTA THE PRETTY VELVET IN ARAB STREET AND CHINATOWN DIDN'T HAVE IT and there was no way in hell that I was going to pay $20 a m for the one at spotlight, so I ended up with velveteen and that's how version 1 of DC happened...

1 year later, I decided that version 1 was too fugly for WCS and decided that version 2 was in order so cloth buying. And in a stroke of luck I found pretty velvet on discount, so I went crazy and got 12m worth of it...well, it FELT like a stroke of luck until I realized that I had to move the 12m from melbourne back to singapore...so I went over weight and paid $60 so the discount was pretty moot *sighs*

And then my house was too small for the paper pattern OTL, which was pretty funny in retrospect...I panicked for about 15 mins before in a stroke of insanity, I stuck my paper pattern for the DC gown to the wall of the living room and continued to add onto it all the way to the kitchen entrance LOL.

Night before WCS....oh god let's not even go there, so many things went wrong, but last min sewing and velcro and the genius of Jill, Hiyu and whoever was at the chalet save the day and lion was somehow stuffed underneath DC...whee

AND ON TO THE BAD LUCK FOR THE SHOOTS

Shoot with version 1 never happened cause...erm...yes personal stuff happened...rawr

Version 2....After finally managing to get the photogs I wanted, settling on a date, we headed down to marina barrage only to discover that THE WATER PLAYGROUND WAS UNDER MAINTENANCE. CAN YOU BELIEVE MY EPIC LUCK, and here's the best part.....it'll be done 12sep and I'm flying 14th sep....so we decided , OKIE shoot water part on 12 sep...and GUESS WHAT....there's some stupid bens and jerry ice cream event going on the 12sep.....I HAVE NEVER HATED ICE CREAM SO MUCH......so keep your fingers crossed for me and pls pray that nothing happens on 13th sep or good lord, this gown will never see the light of a proper shoot...T.T

and in all honesty
those 2 months of hell was TOTALLY WORTH IT

WCS WAS SO MUCH AWESOME
Jill and I met the most amazing ppl, who were AMAZINGLY EPIC and SMEXY LIKE WHOA
(and we taught them kanasai and yum seng XD)
The staff was really really nice to us, everyone was so friendly >.<
and WE HAS HAWT FANBOYS << (we had hawt male cloud and reno fangirling our K-on *love)

The competition was uber tough this year, like almost all the teams were made up of cosplayers who were more experienced and older than us, it was honestly really scary and half the time I was like..omgwtfwtfwtfwtf

There I was thinking, they would never ask something as inane as "what is the world's total population"....and GUESS WHAT THE FIRST QN WRONG....I put 11.9 billion, GG I must be the only person in the exam hall to have gotten it wrong T.T

Anyway, holidays are here~ going back to Singapore tomorrow...having a bit of mixed feelings. There's so much to miss about Aussie now :/ and so much to not look forward to about going home *sighs* Hopefully I'll get to draw when I get back, I have the sudden urge to draw pretty TB bling bing fanart after staring at Alberti's Seth...BUT I HAVEN'T PACKED MY BAGS YET *panics*

Suddenly, I feel so horribly horribly mediocre.
I spent most of my school days doodling on sketch pads and on the back of worksheets, I literally drew under my teacher's nose for most of sec 4 maths (which might explain why I never got anything higher than a B) and 99.9% of econs lectures in JC (which also doesn't explain the As...)
But I've never really gotten anywhere. 21 years old, and I haven't the least clue how to CG beyond using the brush and paint bucket tool haha. Never managed to get my proportions right, colour-coding-blind despite 2 years of A level art and just simply absolutely mediocre.

And then I realized, that's what I've always been, mediocre. In my studies, in my hobbies, in my relationships, well...more or less in life.

I want to be something more (and the best part is, after this rant, I'll just go, nah, too much effort and go back to being plain old mediocre me XD)

but at the same time, I have been recently overloaded with so much epic that it's well...EPIC LOL


Went for Brisbane Supernova and Melbourne mini Animania and it was SO MUCH FUN (not specifically the con) cause I met all these new awesome people and stuff.

Won the doodling comp for mini Animania which was kinda a surprise cause the Aussie artists *coughs*yumi*coughs* are ridiculously good (but probably cause she didn't take part) and I am still flailing around in happiness from the awesome that was House of Smex.

Feel motivated to make more of my own costumes now after being exposed to the epic that is home-made Aussie cosplay (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE PPL I HAVE BEEN FANGIRLING YOUR WORKMANSHIP ALL WEEKEND)

Things have been slow art-wise, hopefully I'll draw and write more this year now that I have less human interactions to be concerned with.

Life these past few months have been horrendously epic, and in an entirely not good way. Nothing to start the year like a dramatic break-up....but hey life moves on.

I looked through my gallery again and I've wondered where I've gone as an artist. I drew my entire primary and secondary school life away (when I should have been listening to my teachers) but JC and taking art as a subject just totally sucked that passion out.

I want to start drawing again.

Anyone seen the new Magna Carta game yet?? Can't wait for it to come out ^^ Din have the oppourtunity to play the first one...all those lovely chara designs *sighs*....Saw the trailer, graphics a little disappointing for PS2 quality and I dun like the main gurl's design...Juclecia was way better....main guy kinda looks like calintz I think, but then again my trailer quality wasn't very good >_<
