submit any work.

I have been studying a lot about photography and now use
a different camera. I bought a very old (digital terms anyway)
camera. A panasonic LC1

Poor Sophie has been unused for a while now but I just fell inlove
with my LC1...

Her name is YE-in
Sophie is really jealous i think...
sorry Sophie ㅠㅠ

Though I haven't posted anything there are a lot of pictures
that I'm really proud of.. I just have to do some post processing
on them. I have been really busy at work so I didn't have the time
to use gimp or photoshop so I just use PICASSA
which I find to be really amazing for small prints

I hope to submit more works
and I just want to say hello to all my friends^^

However... due to the bills piling up and my
housemate leaving tomorrow for canada.. leaving
me to pay all the bills alone and not looking
for someone to take the space I have to decided
to have my internet connection cut...
to save some money...

so I can not be able to post as much as beforeㅠㅠ
and I can't see my friends too...ㅠㅠ and I can't
see my friends' artworksㅠㅠ

well it has to be done...
my connection will probably be cut for a good 6 months
until my housemate comes back.. or I find a new one...

Sophie (my LX3) has been doing great and has had no
problems working in (a little ) extreme conditions
of -10degrees^^

I will still post when I have the time to take my computer
to my school and use their internet^^

and in the meantime I will practice my art and photography
with even more determination and ... Happiness?

The Canon G9 was great^^ however...
It didn't really suit me. I had a hard time
using the camera because it was so slow
compared to my Sophie(LX3)

too bad ...

In the end the Canon G9 gave me a farewell present^^
He will be paying my rent and utilities bill for the
month of December as my landlord and landlady have
seemed to fell in love with him^^

Now I will not have to bother learning a
new camera. Sophie's (LX3) multi exposure feature
is very intriguing and I have been making
more photos to master it^^
more LX3 paintings in the future^^

I went outside of Seoul to take
pictures for a local magazine^^

taking pictures is really so much
fun and getting a part time job as
a photographer for a journalist is
very exciting^^

up until now I have taken my "beloved"
LX3 which I have named "Sophie" to
4 assignments and had my pictures
published in local magazines and
newspapers^^

OH! while working yesterday I stumbled
upon a lovely feature on my camera^^

The LX3 has a mode wherein you are able
to take multiple exposures of up to 3
shots in 1 frame^^ (wow I'm really starting
to sound like a photographer!)

it can make some very interesting pictures^^
and I found it particularly effective
for making old style traditional looking
pictures that are almost like a painting^^

I guess the feature was a surprise present to
me from "Sophie"^^

I will continue to learn this feature to make
more ... pictures/paintings^^

Traditional paintings you would see faint small stamp marks on them
that is the Dojang.

Today I made my own personal Dojang^^ I will be marking my future
with them as a personal touch. It is by no means a traditional stamp. Just my own take on the concept. Also I have started a series of photos featuring them but ...
but my gimp crashed before i could save my files...
Oh well at least I was able to keep one dojang and one finished
work in the series^^

Nowadays I'm really having fun
taking photographs^^
I started visiting this site
called "strobist"
they have very interesting photographs
usingcamera flashes^^
and they are very friendly and
teach you what they know^^

So now I just realized that I haven't
been drawing^^ hmmmm I should start drawing
but taking photos is really very fun
for me now^^

I got a printer and printing is so
much fun^^ I can experiment with a lot
of things when I print^^

was the children's exams and I had to check

Also I have to renovate my house and my computer
has been acting up... for some reason The GIMP
hasn't been working... so nowadays I have to use
photoshop... but I like the GIMP better because
photoshop ... is ... not ... cute... it's too serious
like the head teacher at our faculty >o<

I have also been studying photography! well just by
myself actually and I just bring my camera's manual
when I go out. But I was able to get some decent
pictures of the Lovely Namsan tower and Han River
Which I will post tonight^^

Oohhh at the end of may I will unveil some new art
that I have been experimenting with during the children's
lunch breaks. I promise they will be very Interesting^^
