Been doing something new lately, though. Tried for the voice for *ralphbear's Shadow warrior's anime and he thinks I did a good enough job so if you wanna hear my bad eight year old boy immitation voice stay tuned to his animations XDD

~Richi-Mikael and ~kilala8chidori and I baked a cake.

we used this recipe.

First, as you know, I burnt myself making caramel for the banana jam.

Then, the cake collapsed. So I used the glaze we made for it to sort of glue it back together.

The result was this [link]
Then we had to make the "icing" for it, which was banana jam, sugar and marshmallows.
Said "icing" looked like baby puke. [link]
However, it tasted AMAZING.

At least the caramelized bananas looked tasty! [link]

Anyway we covered it in melted semisweet chocolate and it started to look like a good cake again! [link] [link]

So I'm feeling a bit..... not like doing much other than sleep/video games/ect.... Stupid job that I hate (it's a "banquet server" at a hotel. Basically I set up tables, tear down tables, and roll cutlery and fold napkins for... you guessed it! setting up MORE tables later. All while wearing a cheesy hotel vest.) I don't think I'm going to be there too long unless it starts paying really good.

Small updates/list time!

Fanart, ect - until I see something I feel like fanarting I'm not gonna do too much. However, I think I'm going to catch up on watching Naruto Shippuuden some time so I'll probably get some ideas for some hidan stuff... akatsuki should be called CRACKatsuki with the ammount of hillarity you can pump out of it.

Random/other - If I get the chance, I might do some animation/games. woot? unno. depends on if I feel like it. bit of a slump.

Requests/Commissions? - As stated in the request forum area, I'll get around to them when I feel like it, and I'm not really feeling like it right now.
I might start doing commissions in the near future, since I will be needing cash (school/car!). Just have to set up a paypal or something and work out a payment chart for cost. I'm fairly cheap though, so as long as you don't want a printed copy mailed to you or something done on traditional media, it will be priced thriftily. Remember, I'm cheap. So I assume you are too when I'd price things.

Quick rant here.
Because I get home from work where I had to put up with a b*tch who had to have her way and her way now and made a stink about delays, and then have to deal with this and that and it all sucks.

So the internet. I don't look for drama. But everywhere I go, I see people making huge stinks about shit that doesn't really matter. Like, instead of taking a bit to get over it, or if its important, confront someone about it maturely, people just make this huge emodrama twelve act improvised plays and spread the drama like it was an STD or something and everyone was as horny as a rabbit. (IDK I make bad analogies when I'm annoyed)

Its just.... Bah. I don't know why people are like it. The closest I get to it is how I am now, just typing up a rant to get stuff out of my system, but letting people know that it's just that. A rant to get out of my system and into the airwaves, maybe discuss about it.

I don't expect the world to change and I know MY problems aren't YOUR problems. I label them as rants or ask for advice, but I don't share my misfortune by being a total diva and demanding your attention.

Not your problem.

So does anyone know why people are emodramatic? seriously?
I don't get it... I can't get into their heads and figure out what the hell they're thinking by being stupid and taking things personally and thinking everything said has some sort of undertone of hate and plot and we all have these weekly meetings to decide how to best inconvenience them in their daily life.

I'm gonna try my best not to get derailed and rant about teenagers in general. I don't want to write a novel here.

Update: Okay, I bothered the guy until he was suggesting that if I can't wait, I cancel my order. Which I did.
I have an order placed somewhere else, where they were /already/ expecting an order mid november. They called yesterday to confirm the day they'll be getting stuff in as the 16th.

This is just aweful luck..

So anyway, the site I finally found that would ship within canada and took paypal is called NXSource.
NEVER ORDER FROM THERE. EVER. I swear to god... I had a hard enough time getting hold of a customer service agent to bother.

Of course, now I have email and the extension number to reach him by phone.
Now here's how the discussions with him go.

First off, I ordered a month ago.

I phone a week ago when I still haven't heard anything. He tells me that he'll check on the shipments for me for my pen. Tells me, oh hey, look at this! It should be arriving today! He took me email and said he'd email me if it came in.

Sends me an email ten minutes later saying it hasn't come in yet.
I'm thinking well, ten minutes later, whatever. I'll wait till tomorrow.

The rest of this, of course, I have saved in email logs. So anyway, a few days go by and I ask if there's any way I can know a rough estimate of what day I'll get my pen.

He says no, he can't get a firm date. So I tell him to let me know when he hears something.

Now, last night. I'm getting impatient because it's my pen, I need it, I have projects that are getting behind.
I go and look up reviews, curious if this has happened. Lo and behold, it HAS. Apparently this happens to people.

So I start bugging him again, asking whether or not they have any communication with the people they get their shipments from, ect.
Because I'm thinking that not knowing if or when you get your orders for a product that's ALREADY been payed for is pretty irresponsible.

Apparently they order through a mystery distributor of wacom in Canada.
Oh. Isn't that handy. I'm still mailing back and forth with him about this.
I'll update when I get something done. If I can't do this, my dad will. He's pretty damn good at badgering his way into getting what he needs RIGHT NOW. xD

Went and picked up my special edition of Spore yesterday.

Kinda stayed up until like 3 am playing it. VERY addictive.

I'm currently in the civilization stage, where you're supposed to dominate the world, but I'm not actively going after that at the moment.

The craziest part about this game: Remember how I made that "landshark" creature?

Well, in the creature stage, you'll run into eventually an "epic creature". Something so overly, scarily large that if you run into it, just start running the other direction or you're dead.

It was my land shark. O_O I'm a bit scared of it now after being chased half way across a continent.

Well, I got out a book at the library on coding HTML, XHTML and CSS, and I read it today at work (well, parts of it) so I'm going to try using my base coding that I have right now for my CSS and what I've learned so far from it to try and do some cool stuff for my new one (no word on the pictures for it though)

So the next while that's what I'm working on, so any journal updates you see might be a bit messed up (lol).

I'm kinda tired of this CSS.
I'm not sure what I want for a new one though.

As you can see, I made a poll for you to help sway my direction of new CSS ideaz.

That one just about killed me with bad jokishness.

I actually didn't see Kishi hitting us with some Sasuke flashbacky team 7 stuff though. Thought that was nice. Looks like he's going in for some remarkably coincidentally lucky victory now though.... it's a shame. Just when I thought he was getting a good whoopin'.

Well, that's gotta be the most crap kicked out of a character with them still alive I've seen in quite a while from this series.
