Anywho. I'm going to sit down here and babble for a while and tell y'all when I'm not doing much any more 'round here.

One, I've got school. My English teacher has decided that she is going to load us with work with like, 2 weeks left of school. This displeases me, especially since my other classes have decided they should, too! How bloody lovely. -_- So, as of today, I have a paper due over women's rights Tuesday, study for the English final exam, learn about the digestive system and all the terms associated with it as well as the circulatory system and respiratory system by tomorrow for a test, prepare for THAT final exam, and manage to juggle in two other final exams. XP Fun, right?

Next on the list shall be family. My grandma's currently very sick. Her lungs are really bad, like a smoker's, regardless of the fact she's NEVER smoked, and she's got pneumonia. So I keep having to travel to the east part of the state to visit her. Which then leaves me with LESS time for work. But what bothers me is that her doctors are morons. One day, they say she's dying. So we rush up there to see her. We get there the next day and "Oh, she's not dying. Sorry." But she's fine. Really. They're just incapable of telling us something accurate, it seems. But what really bothers me is my grandma herself. She called yesterday and said, "Well, can you come drop by tomorrow? For a quick visit?" QUICK VISIT? It's at least a three hour frickin' trip! There's no such thing as a 'quick visit'!

But I'm not mad at her. I get that she's scared about dying and everything. It's just that to me, she's selfish in this situation. (ACtually, a lot of this is what my dad says frequently says. I'm just finally believing the man. Probably shoulda done that sooner.)

Then there are my other various projects. I don't wanna babbly about those, though, really.

All the while, I'm balancing friends, writing, and finding time to even scream. (I'm really hurting myself by writing this thing. Oh well. Y'all have a right to know what's up.)

So obviously, things are being chopped from the list. The first to go was writing, which really bothers me. It's one of the things I can say I'm genuinely good at, and I'm struggling to find the time to squeeze it in. You can see how that's working out. I haven't even STARTED chapter four, but I do have ideas swimming around in my head, screaming to be put on paper. I'll get back on track this summer, though.

I've also basically sacrificed the internet other than checking my e-mail and what's needed for school. I may swing by here once and a while, but it's very limited. Respond to a comment or two, but that's really it.

Uh...I don't have ONE bst friend. Lol I have too many friends to single one out as the best. They've all got their own characteristics that make them special.

Uh...I'm okay with where I am now, I LOVE where I'm going, and I've got nothing against where I've been. If I hadn't done the things I'd done, I wouldn't be who I am. And if certain things hadn't happened, my life'd be so different. I wouldn't change it for the world.

7) Is there anything you'd like to accomplish before you go?
I wanna travel the world, find a great guy and have a family with him, learn 2 other languages, and go sky-diving and bungee-jumping at least once each. Not necessarily in that order.

My parents are evenly strict. They're not crazy strict, but they're most certainly not lax.

I shot a 604 series today - 223, 170, and 211. I beat out a couple of the boys starters, so I felt good about it. X3 -shot for slight braggery-

Okay, since I'm incredibly bored and don't have much to do, I think I'm just gonna write a little about what's been going on as of late.

First of all, I have lots to do. XDD I have two lab reports in my Biology class, and I have an English project to still finish. (Really, start over. I, being myself, managed to lose the first half of it, so I must now START. OVER.) XP So that's going to be fun.

Hm...I have bowling practice tonight. Bowling's been rough, lately, however. Things just not goin' my way, y'know? Though, I suppose with any sport one plays, there's a point from when you've become much better to where you hit a slump. I'm currently in one of those slumps, but I am getting through it. (Or, at least I'd like to think so.) My coaches have been helping what bit they can, but I think most of it's a mental thing. -shrug-

I've been really out of it recently, too. For those of you in RL, I know you probably haven't noticed that much, but 'tis true. But, I don't know what it is that's got me. Ah well.

Found a couple new bands lately. X3 Anyone heard of We the Kings? (Gem, if you have, I'm going to scream. XD) I'm surprised at myself, actually. They're fairly 'op'. but I do like them. XD I'm guessing though, it's the lyrics that's got me hooked. Their sound is good also, though.

Nickelback and Puddle of Mudd are a couple others. Again, I'm surprised with myself. They're country'ish, and I shudder at the thought of country being on my iPod. Ha. Though, PoM has a better sound than Nickelback. They have incredible lyrics and some good sounds. Animal = Amazing sound. XDD -shot-

Anyone remember Chris Daughtry? I was a fan of him, back in my American Idol days. XD But I got his self-titled album back a couple of Christmases (is that the plural of Christmas? XD I honestly don't know) ago, and I liked it. But, for a while, I didn't even touch the album. I had my iPod on shuffle yesterday when I was cleaning my room, and one of their songs came on. I remembered that song, so I pulled out the CD and threw it in my stereo. An hour later, I'm still singing to every song. XD

That goes for My Chemical Romance, too! I used to LOVE those guys, but when I hit a new wave of music, they fell down on my top list of abnds, so to speak. But, the same with the others, they're back at the top, simply because my iPod was on shuffle, and I heard some of their songs. X3 I only have The Black Parade, though. I'm really wanting some others, but I don't know when I'll be back at Target or Best Buy to buy some. D:

OH. ANOTHER ONE. Trapt, anyone?? A friend's dad made a video with their song "Headstrong" and the moment I heard that song, I fell in LOVE. They're amazing!! I've only heard "Who's Going Home With You Tonight?" and "Contagous" from them, but I like what I hear so far.

Okay, I swear I'm working on Pirate Empress, for those of you who care. (Right, Fluffy??) I hit the accursed writer's block for a REALYL long time, and my two submissinos yesterday proved how out of writing I'd been. But, I'm working on Chapter Three. And before anyone says AMNYTHING, I know I've written these first few chapters a first few times (Not TEN TIMES, however.) but every time I write it, I end up changing certain details. I'm hoping that'll be finished soon. My goal is next Wednesday. I'm giving myself longer than I really think it'll take, simply so I wont' be crushed if something happens, and I don't finish quickly.

Speaking of Pirate Empress, Fluffy has decided to do an Abridged Series of it, cleverly titled Pirate Empress Abridged. XD Go to his YouTUBE and see it. youtube.com>YukimaruYoshida. Just like his DA. :3 It's pretty funny stuff, actually. I didn't know I'd take some of it, since I'm writing the original and all, but I found myself laughing the entire time.

Everyone needs to read this. Seriously, this stuff is psychotic.

Now, I'll admit, when I read Twilight the first time, Ienjoyed it. Granted, I didn't have REAL literature taste at this point, but I did when I reread the series, whcih, at that point, I no longer enjoyed the books.

But really...some of these stories....Wow. I'm amazed at how far some of these stories. Then again, I'm not. People nowadays are psycho.

Okay, so today I was at Target, right? And I'm lookin' through the CDs, and lo and behold, there's a nifty li'l one called 'This War Is Ours' by Escape The Fate. I thought, "Y'know, what the heck? It looks interesting!" So I bought it and when I put it in iTunes to burn it, I went ahead and started playing it. And All I can say is WOW. What an album! 1. The writing doesn't seem piratey/1700s. Why not change it to sound authentic?
Because, my little duckies, to me, it DOES sound 1700s/piratey. To a degree...let me explain. Flint wasn't on the seas her entire life. She was born into a very rich, very educated Bristol family. She recieved the highest of educations offered at that time. By no means did she enjoy it, but she DID go. And it proved helpful. But she never fully gave up her original way of speaking. SHe changed the way she talked when she went to seas, but her writing style stayed that sophisticated, well-written technique.

2. (For those who know Flint's past [partial or all] and I haven't specified. But every one can know, it won't hurt.) Why does FLint detest her mom simply because she was 'strict'? It seems very immature/teeange angsty.
Very easily explain, little ones. When Flint was fiften, she wasn't happy with her mom. Her personality was (and still is) free-spirited and she doesn't take 'no' without a good reason. Flint's mom (Celia) didn't nurture that. She bound her down with rules, and crap like that. Since Flint's the way she is, that didn't sit too well with her, so her mother/daughter relationship didn't grow in a positive matter. But when Flint left, that was the last impression of her mother she had. Thirteen years later, she feels the same way, and it can't be helped. (Okay, so it can, but Flint doesn't care at this point.) That's why in the whole 'Your mom killed herself and your brother went to an asylum' part, Flint just sort of shrugged it off.

3. What does Flint look like? I think she looks like [inset little peson's imagination.]
I don't know. I know that's terrible to say, but I honestly can't picture Flint in my mind. Though she's a big part of myself, I don't particuarly think she looks like myself. I do know she's tan, and there is a scar runnning down her halfway from her cheek to her lip. From a sword fight, and it gets explained in the next two chapters. But as for everythinbg else, I've imagined stuff from a female Captain Jack Sparrow to me when I'm 28. Scary, yes, but I've pictured it all. And I just can't get it right.

4. Was Flint always named Dread Pirate Flint? That's a weird name to give to your child.
No. But I'm not telling you. It's secret, for now. You, as a reader, shall find out in a later part of the story. ^_^

....And I think that's it. Not many, I know, but these sorts of things get asked fairly often. (I say fairly because PE isn't that popular as of yet.)

When Teldman was to retire, he has Flint and Bellamy sword fight - first to bleed loses. The winner becomes Emporer/Empress, which Flint did. Bellamy now basically wants to kill her, and she was ridiculed and had many assassination plots attempted on her just so a man could be in charge of the Pirate Nation.

What's one (fun?) fact about him/her? Once upon a time, she gave away a ship that didn't belong to her for a barrel of rum. XD

LOL Stupid school and the lack of a Latin teacher....so the advisor say it fit to put me in French. O_o It didn't make sense to me, either. So I called the lady and she said, "Well, we could move you to Dance, Business, Fitness, PE, or Auto Mechanics. Your schedule is pretty landlocked, so these are basically it's these or stay with French." Now, Dance was an automatic NO. So was Fitness and PE (I already have PE the next block.) Which left me with Business and Auto...I figured since I didn't know what business I wanted to go into, Auto was the way to go. XDDDDD So Rioux will now be a grease monkey!!!!!

Has anyone heard of the band Shinedown? THEY'RE EPIC!!!! I bought the CD randomly at Target on Saturday because the cover was great. 8D I don't care that it was a stupid reason to buy it, but I did anyway. And they're a good band!!!! I'm in love with Sound of Madness and Second Chance right now. But all of their songs are loverly!!!

Anywho.

I was camping with my Girl Scout troop an' we had oodles of fun! I did the high ropes (steel wire 50 feet in the air.) That was where I the birth of the joke, "The world does/does not make sense again!" XD This happened because when I was almost halfway through, there were 3 ropes, and I kept getting tangled. It took me 4 TRIES to get it. Finally, when I got out, I yelled "THE WORLD MAKES SENSE AGAIN EVERYBODY!" And they all cracked up. I lawlzed for, like, ever.

Then I did a tie-dye shirt, which I'll post after it's washed. It is super pwnsome. I know you all wanna see it, so don't deny it.

Next was the rappelling!!! That was made of epic win. But I got injured. T.T Ah well, I'll survive. Maybe. It was actually pretty funny how it happened. I was standing on top of the bluff, and the instructor was all, "Lower your butt to be parrallel with your feet!! Remember to keep your knees locked!" And apparently, I was too far onto the edge of the bluff, so I feel about 5-10 feet. XD I got a know/bruise/cut on my forearm, I scraped my left arm, just under my butt I've got a huge bruise, (yeah, dudes, I know you like it) and my back hurts. But don't ask if I'm okay, I'M FINE. It was actually pretty funny. The instructor kept asking if I was and I said yes. I had to explain that as l wasn't bleeding, I was fine.

And then there was this morning. ~MittenzTheFlameKitty's grandmother had told me to get her up, and so yesterday morning, I just pulled the sleeping bed out from under her. No big deal, end of story. But this morning, Kai stayed in her sleping bag. Her grandma pulled open the door, so I just pulled her out onto the porch. She came back in later, really mad. I told I was sorry if I hurt her feeling, but she didn't really listen I don't think (which is fine, I forgive her.) We were supposed to go a little diner for lunch today, and I had ridden with her on the way up. I changed rides, for I was anticipating that there might end up being an altercation. When we got to the diner, I asked her, "Hey, Kai, you wanna split you some curly fries? I'll pay a buck, and you'll pay a buck." She said sure, and when I asked her if we were cool, she told me as long as I didn't do it again, yes. It was all cool beans after that. I, personally, thought it was pretty funny, but I would rather stay friends with Kai then amuse myself in ways such as that.

Okay:
1. Probably the biggest factor - I changed the story to first person, no longer third. This is due to the fact that my English teacher once told me that first person is the hardest point of view to write form, so being me, I made it first for the challenge.

2. After the luverly ~Cwen-Natulcien critiqued my work, I suddenly realized that I wasn't at all happy with the story: I wanted to keep to the same plot, but like most writers in the beginning, I wasn't happy with the tiny, insignificant details! but that's o.k.

Now, tomorrow (I hope) I'll re-submit the first chapter. THIS TIME I EXPECT CRITIQUE! You guys dissappointed me last time...But I give you all a second chance to redeem yourselves (excpet for our latest watchers...) But seriously, I want to improve my writing skills, but I need your help! Even if it's one sentence, I'll be content. Just, please, I don't want to sound desperate, but you guys are probably my best editors at this point.

OMG! I forgot to mention: Ezzy and I now have a list of watchers! I hadn't expected it to ever happen, I was happy with a few people, but now...22?! I LOVE YOU ALL!!!
