Yep, it's good news/bad news time.

Let's start with the good news. I succeeded in my concentration review. I'm now clear to move onto my exhibition review which should be the last major review I need to do in order to graduate.

The good news ends there. Because of the amount of time I put into getting my review ready, I've fallen behind in my work. Now I have a lot of stuff to do. I emphasize the phrase "a lot." Essentially, I will have to work almost constantly for the next four weeks in order to get everything done. This means I won't be around until after the semester is over.

And those who know me, know that when I say I won't be around, that will be thte case. But it'll be worth it. I'll be able to show you all something pretty special I've been working on this semester. I hope you guys will enjoy it when i put it up.

And one other piece. I finally have gotten used to Samus' new suit from Metroid Other M. I hope that we get to see a Gravity version of the suit at some point in that game whenever it comes out next year.

So to everyone, have a happy Thanksgiving, and good luck on your final exams for the semester. And I say it again, good luck and godspeed.

Hey everyone, it's been quite awhile. But this marks yet another year that I've been here on DA.

I hope you all have a Happy Halloween, and everyone gets a lot of candy tonight! I, unfortunately, have a lot of stuff to do. So I'm hanging out in my dorm doing my homework.

I apologize for my lack of existence here ever since the start of the school year, but things have been very busy this semester. The good news is that I'm finally done with my running class, so now my Mondays and Wednesdays are now mine again. Our teacher would always push us very hard and I would get exhausted after each class. And now that that class is done and over with, I have quite a bit of extra time to work on my series of giant bugs that I've been working on all semester. Speaking of art, my next concentration review will occur on Tuesday, so everyone, wish me luck.

That's basically it. Nothing real exciting has been happening, just busting my butt over my projects for school. So we'll see what happens.

Thanks for reading.

Whew, the first week of school is over, and Labor Day weekend is underway. This year my schedule isn't too bad at all. I have plenty of studio classes this year and only one normal class. I even have a gym class too. Man is that gym class brutal. Over an hour of a pure physical beatdown. Hopefully I'll get thinner because of this.

This year, I get to create my own set of projects for it. With that newfound freedom, I want to start doing things I don't really do. I really want to start making real conceptual art and new character designs. And with that, I also want to refine every part of my way of drawing and creating.

Hopefully this won't derail my comic too much. And I also want to start drawing more nude figures for the sake of perfecting anatomy. So, odds are you'll be finding more nude pictures popping up here over time. Provided I get the time to do it. And I think I'll start making more pictures of my own characters like Naraca, Charley, and Diama as well.

All of that is merely conjecture though. We'll see. But I feel like I can do it, so here's hoping the future is bright.

Wow. Hard to believe that summer already over. This of course means that much packing is going to be done.

These past couple of weeks I've been hanging out with my old high school friends since we don't go to the same college. That's kinda why I haven't been around too much.

But, being the nice guy I am, I made one last comic page for the summer.

I have to say that I'm pretty excited to get back to college. It'll be good to see my friends again. And I'll be up for another concentration review. That'll be a lot of fun. XD

And of course, I have been tagged yet again. I enjoy laying around and just thinking. It feels good and allows you to come up with interesting ideas.
2. My favorite gaming franchise of all time is definitely Metroid.
3. I always try my best to be different whenever I do things. I see no point in trying to do redo something that's been done over and over.
4. One of the reasons I joined DA was to make my Sonic comic. Hang around for awhile and you'll see it turn into something unexpected.
5. I enjoy fighting games.
6. I would like to become either a comic book artist or create concept art for video games.
7. I really like trying to make exceptional female characters that are at least equal to or outdo the men. That explains why I like Metroid so much.
8. For as much as I like DA and talking to my friends, I don't like being on the internet. That's why I sometimes end up missing people's replies and never respond to them.

The following people are now tagged.
Fanfiction is an important part of being creative, as surprising as that can be.

If you can write fanfiction well, or creatively, then you would actually make for a good writer on anything that has a set chronology. Like a comic book or TV series.

Lately, as I've been working on my Sonic comic, I've been thinking about all of the fanfictions I've thought up over the years. I wonder what it would've been like if I worked on one the other ones instead. In the spirit of such thought, I figured I would tell you all a little about the fanfictions that may have been. This doesn't mean that I won't continue to work on Sonic though. It's finally getting to something good.

Sonic the Origin: Yep, I had another Sonic in mind that would've been good enough to make into a comic. In fact, I thought of more potential Sonic stories than any other. This one, like it's title says, is about the origin of the Sonic world. It would chronicle what made the Eggman go insane and try to attempt to conquer the world in the first place, and how Sonic and his friends got involved. It told of the events prior to Sonic 1 and all the way to the end of Sonic 3 and Knuckles. Back when Sonic was about a crazy scientist and his robots trying to conquer the world and a punk hedgehog and his two-tailed buddy trying to stop him, instead of all these demons and monsters running around. This one would've been pretty sweet to start with because it actually runs through the modified universe that Curse of the Flame takes place in as well. The best scene in this story would've been the fight at the end of the events of Sonic 2. Metal Robotnik versus Sonic was probably one the most epic fights I ever thought of.

F-Zero: This story came about because of a discussion me and a friend had about Captain Falcon. This one was also an origin story. It started with the beginning of the Captain's career. I would've made him kinda like Batman. It would've been like what we all wanted the F-Zero anime to be. You know, it would actually follow Captain Falcon and his exploits, not some lame kid. Probably the coolest thing about this story was the potential for other series to get involved. I was going to have a couple of stories within it about how the Captain would've teamed up with Team Star Fox and the legendary hunter Samus Aran. And of course, he'd have the Falcon Punch and Falcon Kick to help him kick ass on his missions.

Star Fox - Andross: A bit of a mature tale, it chronicles the return of the greatest foe that Fox and crew ever took on, the genius scientist Andross. With his new mechanical body and the ability to infect others and bend them to his will, Andross became an extremely powerful threat in this story. He was powerful enough to take on battle cruisers, literally, by himself. He could merge with vehicles and take their weapons for himself. Even Star Fox would have a lot of trouble with a monster like him. And scary enough, Andross was even able to infect a member of Star Fox and turn them into a potential traitor. The final battle would've involved fighting a giant full-bodied Andross robot. Nothing better than a giant mechanical gorilla. And of course, Fox and Krystal would actually be open with each other in this story as well.

Metroid Future: Last, but possibly my most favorite, is Metroid Future. Taking place 30 years after the end of Metroid Fusion, this story chronicles Samus' battles against the Galactic Federation. During the events of Fusion, it came to light that the Federation was becomind corrupt with power. After the loss of Planet Zebes, the Space Pirates were never able to recover their military might. Also, the destruction of the BSL Research Station and all of the X parasites on Planet SR388, allowed the Federation to label Samus as a traitor. This lead her and Adam (the artificial intelligence that aided her in Fusion) to pursue a career as traitors to the Federation. For as powerful as Samus is, she is only one person. And all of that fighting over the years takes it's toll on a person. The story actually begins on Samus' deathbed. The last few years of her life were spent training a successor. A new Samus Aran. Clad in a rebuilt Varia Suit, this new Samus and Adam attempt to put a stop to the increasing violence of the Federation. She may not have the experience of the original, but she shares an indisputable bond with her. Her homeworld too was attacked and decimated, but unlike Samus whose home was destroyed by Ridley and the Pirates, hers was taken out by the Federation. This was definitely the most controversial of my stories because I wanted to kill off Samus, but I like to think that people still would've enjoyed it.

Whew, thanks for reading. I really need to learn to make shorter entries.

A whole month.

That's right. I've been gone for a whole month.

Scary isn't it?

For those of you who didn't know, I took an online class over the past month and it ate up nearly all of my time. And of course, that coincided with us going on vacation to Florida. We went to Disney and Universal while we were there. It was pretty sweet.

Also while we were there, I got to see Star Trek with my dad. It was really awesome. I never really watched any of the old Star Trek episodes, but I did think that the actors they chose were great. I was amused at how much Kirk got his ass handed to him in the movie. Nearly every fight he got in he lost. Quite a running joke they had there. I would explain more, but I hate spoilers. So I won't say anything else. Except of course, that you should go and see it.

Oh yeah, interestingly enough, on our first flight on the way to Florida, I ended up seated next to Hines Ward. In case you don't know who that is, he plays for the Pittsburgh Steelers. It was a pretty fun trip because I had to defend him from my brother's obsessive girlfriend. I've never seen somebody so giddy before. XD

Because I got next to nothing done for my online class while we were in Florida, I was working like crazy during the remaining period of time I had left. Yet, during that time, I was reacquainted with an old flame.

And that flame's name is Metroid. XD

I once again became obsessed with Metroid. I played through Metroid Fusion while we were in Florida. Then played through it again for a 100% completion run and then another run that was less than 2 hours. After we got back, I played through both Metroid Prime and Metroed Prime 2: Echoes. I'm currently going through Prime 3. I also went through Zero Mission. I think once I beat Prime 3, I'm gonna go through the Holy Grail of gaming, Super Metroid, once again.

I also got to see Transformers 2 recently. That movie was insane. So much glorious action. I know that there are some reviews that aren't very good, but the thing is, this movie wasn't supposed to be like the first one. It actually was made for the Transformers fans. So if you're not a big Transformers fan, I can understand why you may not like it. I enjoyed it though.

Sadly, that's basically it. This month has just been hectic. And now that it's finally over, I can actually do stuff again. So expect some comic pages soon. And maybe I'll do Star Fox art too. Provided nobody looks over my shoulders. I hate when people do that. XD

Alright, for those of you who are still reading, I congratulate you. Now it's your turn to tell me what's been going on in your lives over the past month.

Trades:

  - I will get started on it soon.
Ah, finally. School is over. My finals week was a little nerve-wracking, but I came out on top. The only final that I was really worried about, meaning that I needed to do well or risk not passing, was Real Estate. I got lucky and got an 88% on it! (we have an online thing that we use called BlackBoard, you may have heard of it or have used it, it allows us to get graded immediately after submitting our final)

Whew, it's good to be back home. And I'm ready and raring to get to work on stuff this summer. I should have some stuff posted by the end of the week. I just want to finish the next two comic pages before I post anything. Things are about to get very awesome in the comic soon. I can't wait to get there! I wish I could just skip part of it and do that, but I can't.

And now on to what Sega has done. Just wow. What they did was so awesome.

THEY MADE DOWNLOADABLE STAGES FOR SONIC UNLEASHED!! (for PS3 and 360)

And best of all, my best friend let me test them out. To those who thought that Unleashed was tough before, well, you're about to enter hell now! Those levels are deliciously evil and difficult. And they even have Sonic doing some insane stuff that you can't do in any other level. Like crossing the entire city of Spagonia just using homing attacks, balloons, and a couple of ramps. It's insane!

The 3 continents that have downloads for them currently are Spagonia (best area in the game), Holoska, and Chun-Nan. And of course, they plan on doing the remaining continents as well. I'm not sure about Empire City and Eggmanland though. Tougher stages there would be taking a scalding hot iron and sticking it clear through your body. BUT THAT'S NOT A PROBLEM.

Games these days are too damn easy. If you're one of those people who wonder what happened to the old days when games kicked your ass, well Sega is here to give you that challenge again. And Capcom too. If you want a game to teach you the meaning of pain, download Mega Man 9 for all 3 major consoles. (The Wii counts as a major console in this case)

Ah, Sonic. Somehow you and Mega Man are the ones to bring this sort of difficulty back.

Trades: (I won't be doing anymore beyond this one until further notice)

  - Haven't started yet.

Hey everyone. I haven't been around much lately because the semester is drawing to a close very fast. This next week is my last week of classes, followed by finals week.

Ugh, I can't believe that we didn't get a spring break this year. We had a "winter break" earlier this semester, but no actual spring break. That has been causing a lot of problems lately.

Once school's over, I really plan to get back to work on my Sonic comic. I intend to get a lot done this summer.

Well, that's about it for now. I'll see you all in a few weeks when I start posting stuff again.

Trades:

- Getting close

- I'm afraid this'll have to wait until summer.

I mean that.

I've essentially become an insomniac in the past week. I haven't been able to go to sleep before 3 AM and I always wake up right around 8 AM. It's not because people are noisy (well, that's part of the reason) it's because I just can't sleep for some reason.

This is a really awful affliction to have.

But there is some good news. I have started a short series of portraits based on the six main characters of Watchmen. I have posted Rorschach and Nite Owl for your viewing pleasure. Though they did take longer than they should have.

Well, everything is taking longer to do than normal. Simple homework assignments and drawings seem to take forever these days.

I will do my best to continue to draw and post stuff here from time to time, but I'm probably not going to be here on DA much for a while.

Trades:

-- Complete!

-- Still haven't started yet.

...was a completely awesome movie!

I have to say, there is no way that anyone could have possibly made a better movie adaption of the greatest superhero novel of all time. It just can't be done.

The visuals were top notch, the actors were great, Rorshach was awesome, they did everything right with this film. The action, the violence, the sex (yeah, there's a sex scene in this film, and it's more relevant to the plot than any sex scene before it) were all extremely well done. The fighting is absolutely brutal. There's lots of blood everywhere in this film, so don't go if you're squemish.

The ending to the movie is actually different than the comic book (don't worry, I'm not gonna spoil anything for you), but I really enjoyed this ending a lot. I felt that to a degree it actually was a better ending than the original. Sorry Alan Moore, your original ending was good, but this ending made more sense in the long run. There were things I liked about both endings, I just wish that they had intertwined more of the original ending into the new one. That's essentially my only real complaint about the movie.

Now I know, a lot of people are probably sitting around on forums and nitpicking this movie to death, I'm not one of them. Yes, there were a few things that I had some problems with, but they're so minor that they don't detract from the experience. Like I said earlier, there is no way to make a better adaption of Watchmen than this. The only way you could do better, is to have Alan freakin' Moore sitting there reading you the entire thing to you. And that's never going to happen.

I really recommend you go see this movie, but be warned. There is a lot of blood, violence, and sex in it. So if you're not mature, this is not the movie for you. And don't even think about taking your children along because it's a "superhero" film. You'll just force them into being men and women prematurely. And don't bring your parents either. There's stuff in here you don't want to see with them.

Aside from my warning, go crazy and enjoy this film.

It definitely could've been better, especially the background.

This was the big grading week for Illustration and I wasn't ready to give my presentation of all my work.
Hey everyone, I once again return from the dead. Though 6 days of being dead isn't so bad. No rotting or anything like that occurred. Anywho...

School has once again started up and that is definitely the main cause of my disappearance. I had to hang out with my friends one last time before going back, sigh. I have good friends up here at college, but my best friend doesn't go here. I also had the luck of getting a root canal right before coming back. And I even severely bruised one of my toes. Didn't break it though luckily.

Then when I got back, we had to move all of our stuff to the new dorms because our old dorms are going to be gutted out and turned into offices. They would have just torn down the building, but it is a 100 year old building and it's a landmark on the university. After moving all of my stuff, I began to feel terrible for some reason. I just started to feel sick, probably because I barely ate anything that day. The new dorms are really nice though. It's kinda like living in a hotel actually.

Classes this semester look pretty serious. Usually everyone has at least one class where they can just, you know, draw in it instead of take notes and you'll be fine. I don't think I have any this year. And all of my classes were actually real classes even on the first day! Why couldn't they just give us a syllabus and let us be on our way? Oh well.

Uh, I guess I should put up some new year resolutions now. Better late than never, right?

1. Get more of my Sonic comic up. Over the past year, I only got 15 pages done. That is really pitiful. I plan to make it up through page 60 this year, at least.

2. Lose some weight. Pretty self-explanatory I would say.

3. Do more drawings in general, especially more weird comics like "Shadow Unleashed."

4. Try not to disappear so much and actually be more sociable, not just DA either.

And I'm doing a couple commission pieces too.

1. - Complete! Well, that's about everything. And thanks for reading!

I finally finished going through both the 360 and Wii versions of Sonic Unleashed, and I figured I'd give you all my thoughts on this awesome comeback by Sonic. Sigh, time for a crappy joke. They should rename the 360 version "Sonic Unleash the F Word" because it's that hard.

First off, which version is better? I would have to say the 360 version. The amount of content in this game is ridiculous. All of the town areas have so much to do, and the Entrance areas are filled with secrets. Both of which didn't make it into the Wii version sadly. Same with the two Tails missions. There's all of that extra content, and the all of the stages are longer and much more insane than their Wii counterparts. And for whatever reason, Mazuri was chopped down to being just a boss fight in the Wii version, and the United States area just plain doesn't exist.

Second, the good stuff about the Wii version. While the Wii version did lose a fairly large amount of content, it still has some better things about it. The difficulty is nowhere near as disgusting as it was in the 360 version. I really liked the Eggmanland stage in the Wii version because it was tough, but still beatable, and it was my favorite stage. I never want to touch the 360 version of that stage again. I used up an hour of my life and over 20 lives just to beat it. That area made me cringe. Basically, the Wii version is much more relaxed, but still very fast.

Essentially, it depends on what kind of gamer you for which one you should get. But I would reccommend that you get the 360 version if you can, but if you only have a Wii, then get the game anyway. It's still great no matter which system you play it on.

Oh, and if you have a 360 or PS3, then you should also get Mortal Kombat VS DC Universe. That game rocks.

I also hope to make a lot of drawings over break.

And soon enough, I'll finally be posting up a character design that I've been working on for what feels like an eternity.
Hey everyone, sorry I disappeared for awhile again. A lot has happened to me this week.

I turned 21 on Wednesday and my friends dragged me out to the bar for some birthday drinking. It was a lot of fun actually. And it was the first time I had ever gone drinking. Yep, that's right. I'm one of those rare people that wait until they're legal to drink. And to be honest, I enjoyed it, but it really isn't a big deal at all. I don't plan on doing it that much. And I got Sonic Unleashed for my birthday, and wow. This is the true revival of Sonic. The night stages are alright, but the day levels are insane! If you're a Sonic fan, BUY THIS GAME!

On to more pertinant news on DA. I finally have a new page of my Sonic comic. Actually, it's not just one BUT TWO pages today! And it also marks the point where I have changed my way of coloring the comic. From now on, all of the backgrounds will be colored in with Photoshop in order to save time and pencil. Prismacolors are really expensive and I would destroy them with this comic. That's why I changed it. I'm not trying to be lazy, I just want to save some time and some money. I also hope to have at least 4 more pages up by the end of teh year.

That's really about it. I also have two other nice pictures that I put up as well.

Oh, actually, because it is the end of the semester, I probably won't be on too much. But that's probably normal for everyone by now. I'll try to get on as much as I can, but I really don't know how much I'll be able to.

Alright, that's REALLY about it. Have fun and stay safe everyone!

Wow. A lot has happened this past week.

I give a hearty congratulations to Barack Obama for becoming the first black president for our country. I say good luck to him considering how the country is faring.

Earlier this week, I had my concentration review in my drawing concentration. This review is really important because if you fail it twice, you have to change your concentration. The good news though is that I passed with flying colors! After I spent about 5 minutes describing a single piece to them, they figured that I knew what I was doing. It's a real shame that that piece I told them about is the one that I couldn't photograph...sigh. But there is more good news. I finally told my professors that I wanted to do pencil work on comic books and they approved of it completely. And after they looked through one of my sketchpads, one of my professors told me that I have to put in my "fox lady" or "cat lady" in all of my assignments. So now I can draw comic style scenes and anthro characters for my projects,
the two things I like to draw the most.

To make matters better, I actually have really been in the mood to draw lately, so I should be able to post a decent amount in the coming weeks. I have a bunch of half done drawings that I need to finish now. This rocks.

I hope everyone else is doing well, too.

Wow. Hard to believe that I've now been here on DA for a whole year. Funny how I started on Halloween last year. That's why I decided to go all out and make three very special drawings for my anniversary. My goofy, scary, and sexy Halloween as I call it. The goofy is of course the picture of Knuckles bursting out of a pumpkin. The scary is the Dullahan who is finally finished. And the sexy is the beautiful vixen Krystal who got all dressed up in the spirit of the season. The last piece of my little celebration is a pumpkin that my RA and I carved for the Halloween bash we had at my residence hall.

Well everyone, unfortunately I'm going to be really busy for the next week because I have my concentration review and a large report due. I apologize if I don't get back to DA and respond to any comments. I should be able to get back on by next Friday.

Everyone, have fun with trick or treating, stay safe, and have a Happy Halloween! I'll see you all later.

I've also gotten a few art projects done that I need to photograph and post. But for the past week, I've been working on a gigantic piece. It's a poster sized drawing and it's taking forever to get done. It's almost finished and that's good because it's due on Tuesday. I've also been working on a special project whenever I have time. You'll all get to see the fruits of those respective labors soon enough.

Not much else going on. Just normal college stuff, and my concentration review is coming up soon. I've been just swamped at school lately, and whenever I get done I usually just want to play video games instead of drawing. After this week is over, I should be able to get some better stuff than what I just posted. The only finished piece among those is the poster, but that's just because it was an assignment. Even the comic has suffered. I have a half-fininshed page, but I just don't have any time to finish it lately.

The only really good thing that's happened to me lately was a Brawl tournament that I won here. I was lucky to get enough time to go to it. I managed to sweep the tournament with good 'ol DK.

That's really about it.
Hey guys. I got the next page of the Sonic comic up. One of the main changes that the comic has now is a new title. From now on it's called "Sonic: Curse of the Flame." This is important, the newest page does not reflect how the story will be told from here on out. This page is made this way in order to get past some stuff that has already been done before, and it's also that way to take care of around 20 pages with one. Trust me, it's better to do this now. You'll see why later on.

Unfortunately, the comic is going to have to be halted for a while. I actually have several commissions in the works right now. That's right, I'm going to get paid to draw stuff. Of course, the commissioners are family, but I'll make money, so that's what counts. Plus, I'll get better at realism because they're portraits. I'll put them up when I finish them.

The campaign is still at a standstill unfortunately. I'll tell you all whenever we get it started again.

This is an entry for all of you Smash Bros. fans out there. Be sure to read through this entire journal before you do anything.

As you all know by now, series director Masahiro Sakurai has stated that he really wasn't planning to make any downloadable Smash Bros. characters, but I think that there is a way to get him to do it. I believe that he is the type of person who would make downloads if there was a true incentive to do it. Me and several others have come up with a plan for how to accomplish this.

Many people have sent out e-mails requesting characters, such as Krystal, to be made for download, but they are going about it all the wrong way. Those people are only sending out about a hundred or so e-mails a week, which isn't enough to get anyone to really notice. Most people would assume that they are just fanboys, and that's why they aren't taken seriously. What needs to be done is much more drastic. What needs to be done is for many thousands of e-mails to be sent to Nintendo all at once.

In order to make download characters a reality, a campaign is needed. What we need to do is get a massive amount of people to write to Nintendo requesting more characters, and it has to be done all on a specific date. What we should do is ask for 4 brand new Brawlers to be made for download. The reason why it should be 4 is because it would add a new column to the roster and it wouldn't break the balance of the character select screen.

!!THIS IS IMPORTANT!! I know this sounds strange, but listen carefully, these are guidelines for the characters that you choose. The most important thing is that the characters you choose are owned by Nintendo. I know a lot of people out there wanted more third-party characters for Brawl, but I recommend that you don't ask for them. The reason why is because of all of the complications involved with copyrights. I know that sounds like a strange reason, but it probably would be best to avoid third-party characters, even if you want to add in another Sonic or Metal Gear character. Other than that, feel free to choose whoever you want for your 4 choices.

I will say this though, I recommend that you all choose Krystal for one of your 4 characters. She would add something new to Smash because of her unique weapon, magical attacks, the ability to create a shockwave, and she would also add the necessary element of a new female character. Brawl really is in desperate need of more female characters. I know that many people out there really wanted her to be one of the new characters, so I think we can all agree to put her in as one of the download characters. I also know that a lot of people here on DA really wanted her to be a Brawler. Not sure what else there is to say about her. She really would make a fine addition to the cast.

However, if you don't want to put her on you list, that's fine. If, you know, you want Smash Bros. to be a sausage-fest forever.

One other character recommendation I have to make is Saki Amamiya from Sin and Punishment. Out of all the characters that Sakurai wanted to put into Brawl, Saki was the one he wanted the most. If you don't believe me, then check out what he said about Saki on his Assist Trophy entry. Saki would also be able to add a lot to the game becuase he, just like Krystal, has a completely unique weapon with his sword-gun. If you read between the lines there, you can feel his remorse at Saki not being playable. So if we all vote for Saki to be playable, Sakurai will be more likely to do it if it means one of his most favorite choices will become playable.

Just like with Krystal, feel free to choose a different character instead of Saki on your list.

The last possible request character that I ask for is Mewtwo. It feels like he was wrongfully removed from Brawl because he was the only non-clone character who was removed from Melee after all. He and Lucario are very different characters, so it's not like putting him back in would be adding in a clone. The only move that they share is their Standard Special move. The rest of their moves and abilities are quite different. Bringing Mewtwo back would also increase the number of villains and add in another character who can use darkness as an element.

Same as with Krystal and Saki, it's your choice if you want to mention them as one of the four download choices that you make.

Alright, now that I've made all of my requests, I can tell you what date we have decided on.

The date that has been chosen to send out the e-mails is July 30th. This date was chosen in order for the word to spread as much as possible.

!!THIS IS ALSO IMPORTANT!!
1. Regarding the content of the e-mails, make sure that you use a nice, kind tone of voice. Try not to sound too demanding about this. We want Sakurai to want to make more...

He's probably one of my most favorite Nintendo characters. I'm so glad my best friend forced to play Kirby Super Star and Kirby's Adventure. It was there that I learned of the awesomeness of the Kirby franchise. And it was there that I became a loyal part of Dedede's royal guard, and I've been one ever since. Then my loyalty reached a zenith when I found out that he was a Brawler. I was estatic when I heard that Sonic was playable, but to have the King appear right after him? I nearly died.

I really need to thank my friend for teaching me the ways of the King.

I have 12 new drawings, and I hope everyone likes them.

This summer has been really busy for me. I've been doing a lot around the house, mainly because I don't have a job. Yay for me! I've helped my parents do a lot of remodeling among other things since I came home from college. But it looks like things are slowing down, so I should be able to start posting stuff more frequently. Provided that I'm not working on any commission pieces. This is important, I'm not going to do any commission work here on DA this summer. Sorry. But I am going to finally get my Sonic comic actually started.

That's pretty much what I've been doing for the past month. I've been out in the yard, swimming in our pool, occasionally going to a friend's house. Pretty much just stuff that keeps me away from the internet and outside. I don't think I've ever been healthier. I intend to turn that around. Lol.

Oh, and one last bit of news. My Wii is now repaired, so if anyone wants to play some Brawl, then you better be ready for a challenge, provided the lag doesn't screw me up. My number is 2234-6899-9033. I'm surprised at how fast Nintendo got me my system back.

Now for the truly last piece. To all of my watchers out there in DA land. I would like to know how all of you are doing, so drop me a line. It has been over a month and it would be nice to reconnect.

In case anyone has been wondering why I haven't been giving out Wii information lately is because my Wii has been acting weird. Just recently, my Wii actually died. It won't read discs anymore. It started by having trouble with the Brawl disc, but now it just doesn't read any of game discs. This means that I can't play the game that I've waited for for 6 years. Luckily though, I have some friends that have their own copies of the game. So I can still get my Brawl fix. It really sucks having to wait for my RA to want to play so that I can though. The only good thing about it is that I can actually get my freakish amount of homework done now.

I'll get it repaired whenever I get home from college. So in a few weeks I'll be able to exchange Wii and Brawl codes if anyone wants to fight.

Someone didn't do their homework, and it turns out that they didn't notice this. So, no worries. I feel like a total idiot for not looking into this more.

So to everyone who was worried about it, I apologize for spreading word about something that doesn't have any power anymore. This also means that you shouldn't write any letters because the Congressmen won't know what the hell you're talking about.

Everyone, this is horrible news. There is a bill in Congress right now that can basically eliminate an artist's copyright protection. Currently, if you make a piece of art, it is copyright to you automatically. If this bill is passed, that protection will disappear. You will NOT have a copyright over your work. You will have to register every single piece you have ever made in order to protect it. Even if it is a well known piece, it has to be copyrighted. And of course, there are plenty of loopholes in this. If you have a piece registered on multiple galleries or search engines, you will have to get copyrights for every one of them. This dreadful bill is called the Orphan Works bill. Go to [link] to find out more about this.

People! Stand up and write to your Congressmen to prevent this from being passed!

Unfortunately, I'm going to be very busy for the next 3 weeks. I just got slammed with a ton of work this past week, so I don't know how much I'm going to be on for a while. If I get the chance though, I will try to post some stuff.

I haven't updated in a long time, so I figured I would make a huge update. Unfortunately, the Sonic comic is behind schedule mainly due to Brawl. I hope to have new pages up soon.

I have added many new pictures. I added seven paintings and five drawings. Each of the paintings was done in my Painting I class and we only had one week to do them. I feel that I am a beginner painter, so if anyone has any advice about painting I would gladly hear it. Especially if it's tips about oil paints because that's the medium I had used. One of those drawings is very special. I hope you all like what I've put up.

Now onto the review. I figured I would wait a while before saying my piece about the game, so here we go!

First and foremost, this game plays much more like Super Smash Bros. 64 than Melee. Everyone is much floatier this time around which is a great thing. No longer do you have to fear jumping off the ledge to attack someone, and now, pretty much unless you KO someone instantly, they will be able to recover. Second, most of the veterans play differently now. Several characters have had their kill moves altered a lot. So watch out for that. Third, the game has been balanced out. No longer is Kirby weak or Bowser being just cannon fodder for KOs. Every character has something that makes them fearful to fight against. Especially the power characters like Ike, DK, Ganondorf, and Kind Dedede. When I say they posess power, I mean it. These guys rack up KOs like no one's business. They also KO characters at much lower percents than anyone else. Speed is still important, but it is not the only determining factor in winning any longer.

Graphics: Graphically the game is amazing. It is easily the best looking game on the Wii. Every character has personality flowing out of every attack and every other animation as well. The characters also feel much goofier this time around. The stages are gorgeous. Everything looks great.

Music: In terms of soundtrack, this game is stunning. It easily has the best soundtrack ever in a video game. I can't really say anything more than that. I have nothing but praise for the soundtrack. I have to say that Kirby death-metal is the best thing that's ever happened.

gameplay: Gameplay is amazing as well. As I said before, the game feels a lot like 64, but much more precise. There are plenty of new techniques that have been implemented that make the game even better. The only new technique that I'm puzzled at is tripping. Okay, it's not a technique, but I still wonder why it's there. Maybe Sakurai put in in to make people fight in the air more. Speaking of which, air combat is much easier to do now that everyone floats when they jump. I'm a little surprised as to how balanced the game actually is. Every character has an equal chance of beating any other character.

Replayability: In terms of replayability, let's just say I may never need another game again. There're just...too many options now.

The Roster: Overall, I have to say that the roster is amazing. Such a gathering of great characters is truly incredible. I would've liked it better if Krystal and Ridley were playable, but I can't say I'm unhappy just because of that. There are a couple of characters that I don't like at all, but I'm not going to say who they are because I didn't come here to make enemies. That's what forums are for.

Conclusion: Quite possibly the most satisfying game I've ever played. I really can't put into words how great this game is. A few complaints aside, this game is perfect. I can't recommend it enough. If you don't have it yet and you live in Japan or the U.S., what are you waiting for?! GET THE DAMN GAME ALREADY! For those of you who live in a country where the game isn't out yet, I feel your pain. Just wait a little bit longer. This game is a real treat.

My Sonic comic has finally begun! I'm so happy to finally have some of it done. I've been working on this thing for around two years now, so I'll just say it now. This comic is really, really long. This thing is going to take me years to complete. It starts out kinda slowly with a remixed version of Sonic the Hedgehog ('06), but then...nah, I'm not going to spoil anything. That's when you guys will see why it took me so long to write the story.

To everyone that enjoys the world of Sonic, I humbly ask you all to check my comic out. I think you'll all enjoy it in the long run.

Now I just have to learn to juggle this and college, and I'll be just fine. Luckily my college schedule isn't as hard as I thought it was going to be. It's just going to be a very hectic year for me.

The only good that may come out of this, is that we may get new characters in the coming months. I really doubt that he's going to stop updating the site over a month before it's released in North America.

I guess this will give me a chance to work on my Sonic comic now...

I apologize for not doing much updating lately, so I decided to upload a bunch of comics I drew over the summer. These comics WERE supposed to be on this website that my friend and I were making, but that didn't turn out so well. I figured it wouldn't be a bad idea to post them here. There is this one comic that I've been meaning to draw involving two franchises that should have been mixed a long time ago. Maybe I'll draw it this week and post it.

Sometime in December I should be starting my Sonic comic, so I hope everyone is looking forward to it...provided that anyone knows I'm making one.

I'm a little frustrated right now. I really want to work on my Sonic comic, but my evil professors refuse to give me a break. Have you ever taken Meteorology in college? Don't. It's much harder than it sounds. I apologize if I don't respond to comments too quickly. But I'm certain that no one cares about that. I did say the phrase "Sonic comic." so I'm certain you'd all rather hear about that instead.

My comic should get started sometime in December. Probably late December. I make a claim about my comic here and now. It will be the longest Sonic fan-comic ever made! I guarantee it. If you don't like realistic versions of the Sonic characters, blood, violence, and occasionally severe language, then this is not the comic for you. I may consider posting a picture of the character redesigns sometime for you all to see. I would tell you more, but I have to go to class. YAY WRITING 1!
