As you may know, we are being smitten by the "P" Virus more commonly known as Swine Flu (apparently, don't like that name at all. Sounds lame, but whatever), and over here in the good ol' México we're going under some safety precautions since Monday, being not leaving our houses for 2 weeks or so the most notable.

Good or bad? Maybe both. There's danger, and death risk out there, but there's no school.
So yeah, extra time for those detestable final projects, plus not that much material for the final exams!
But well, we don't get to visit our friends and such, so it has its consequences...

The Werehog is WIN, but normal Sonic's gameplay is... wow...simply wow. There's absolutely no match in speed, flow and epicness. It's a heavenly experience.

This time: “Sonic and the Secret Rings” for the Wii

Remember I'm just stating my opinion, so please don't be offended. You can state yours too if you want!

Hey there people! As I said before, I wanted to make game reviews. Because I haven’t finished “SONIC the Hedgehog” yet, I can’t make a complete review about it (but so far I love it). So let’s get started!
So I’ll make my review on “Sonic and the Secret Rings”. I beat it, and I gotta tell you, it’s quite a shame on the good name of the blue blur.

Overview:
“Sonic and the Secret Rings” takes place at some random moment of Sonic’s life. He’s asleep and then out of a copy of the Arabian Nights pops out a genie/fairy of some sorts called Shayra or something like that. She tells Sonic that the world of the Arabian Nights is being destroyed by an evil genie called Erazor Djinn, who plans to take over the real world after destroying the Arabian Nights one. So, Sonic sets off to the rescue of the Arabian Nights.
Odd? VERY.

Gameplay
The gameplay of SatSR consists of finishing a level OR completing a specific mission, by tilting the Wii Remote left and right, which moves Sonic in that direction. You brake by pressing the 2 button, and release it to jump. To do a homing attack, you must jump and then move the Remote quickly forward. There is a level that acts as the tutorial, the “Lost Prologue”, so well, you are not introduced to the game’s gameplay so abruptly, which is good, because this specific point about SatSR is QUITE frustrating. It is true that you get used to it, but you really get a bad time while you do. This gets on your nerves mainly while you are near endless pits… HORRIBLE…
So the gameplay is not bad, but then again, it’s not the best. PLUS it does get frustrating, especially when doing missions. You are forced to do a lot of missions BEFORE you can actually GET to the next level. And the game doesn’t indicate what mission to do (although its usually a boss fight) to beat the current level, so that’s frustrating.
The multi mode is weird. Fun, but I hate the fact that it is a badly done Mario Party.

So, the gameplay gets:



Story
The story… GOD, IT’S AN EPIC FAIL!!!!!!
Sonic and the Arabian Nights? The whole concept about it is…very stupid :/

The story gets:


Graphics
The graphics are actually pretty good. The environments are very well done. I liked the dinosaurs, very detailed and nice! And the Ifrit battle is very detailed too! My favorite battle of the game, actually, besides the true final boss.
Sonic himself looks very good compared to previous games. So actually the game looks very, very good.
Although they’ll never beat Sonic 360’s graphics. Those are GODLY.
