Hey guys, whats up. Havent been so active, well not as much as I would have liked lately because I'm tied up with my job even more and have a lot of things on.
So I'm sorry if I havent commented or looked at anything on my devWATCH.

Well, just a short update this time, but I really wanted to bring this guy to your attention, he isn't getting that much publicity, but ~Gaishe is a good friend of mine I've known for some time, and he's just started being active on dA.

I also discovered #IdleRPG which is a mini game - the aim is to not talk at all or leave. Just stay idle. I'm currently on level 19 and have idled for at least 6 hours I think. On and off. I recommend you check it out - but dont get too into it because you'll not be allowed to leave without giving up some time that you have idled!

ITT Tournament
On ITT-community.com I took part in a 16 man/woman =p tournament. There was a surprise prize which was a 1 year subscription to :devart:. I came second place next to =Simplique who should be getting his one year sub from ~Psichi so go over to his page and give him a big hug and congrats! :D

6 weird things about me then...

1. I only ever listen to one album, say every 2 - 3 weeks, and when I do, I listen to only a select few songs from it, then randomly one day I go onto something else.
2. I wear a lucky glove when running in competitions.
3. I'm very paranoid as to what I say on the internet, I always think the worst possible replies that I can think of will be made.
4. I know only what about 4 of the approx 50 programs on my laptop actually do... (Im stuck for ideas, k? =p)
5. I have a tendency to write g when I actually mean t.
6. When I'm bored, I refresh my dA page until I get a new pageview.

I'm really trying to get into the community here at deviantART, I've started visiting #thumbshare and #photographers
I'm also starting to comment on a lot of people's works now, trying to get at least 1000 deviation comments by Mid-June. And maybe senior status by this time... 2012? :D

Well I can't get anything right with vector art, and I'm all over the place with artwork, so I think I'm gonna run back til photography.

On the subject, I was thinking of getting a new camera, some kind of SLR, but I haven't the slightest idea what to get, so can anyone help me out??

Well so far, I'm looking at a Canon EOS digital rebel, thanks to *silentdark for the suggestion

Also, I would appreciate it if you guys checked out my latest pics (When I say latest, I mean latest moment I could be bothered to upload them from my other PC cos they've been on there more than a few weeks)

First off, thanks a lot to dA and whoever thought of the 1 week subscription trial So I logged onto dA just now, and it came up with a message saying I had won a free trial, at first I was like "omg wow!" Then I saw something about April Fools, which made me get suspicious, as to whether this may have been a prank or not, and I'd be featured in a news article as an idiot :p
So, me being me, I threw caution to the wind and clicked continue, and I saw the * next to my name! <3 dA

National Sig League
A couple of days ago I was promoted to Supermod at [link] <-- Please visit if you are a tag artist. Usually, getting to be something like a supermod isnt too much to celebrate, but I absolutely love the site and I've only been on staff for just over a month :D

Back into Art
Well, I've been on a big block lately, nothing I make comes out good, but I'm finding my inspiration again. So I'm rather pleased with that.

Athletics Competition
Recently I attended a national athletics competition, I came fourth in the hurdling and eleventh in the High Jump out of around 90 contenders. So that's pretty good, especially for me since I suck :p



Misc News

Sadly, as I said in my last entry, I would get a subscription for dA when I get 1k of pageviews, but I hardly have any money, and at the moment it doesn't seem worth it (I'm sure it's a superb feature, but it's cos I'm tight on cash atm).

My first journal entry just to tell you all about my Photographical experiences.

At the start of 2006, I got into photography, inspired by members from the national sig league [link].

I dug out my digital camera, set off to the derbyshire moors and tried my hand at photography, it went quite well, but I still had a long way to go. I had a trip up to the beverian alps in germany around a week ago, and took some pictures of the stunning scenery there.

You can find that work in my Gallery, comments and favs appreciated.

I have been around more of the Derbyshire Dales and the Peak District in the UK and have taken some photos of the moors, and the snow peaked hills. Which I will upload later.

I then discovered, one of the sites I visit a lot, the national sig league (www.nationalsigleague.com) had created a photography club [link] I will hopefully become a member soon, please have a look at the gallery for some stunning shots. There will be competitions and contests soon, so if you are a foto-fanatic then join up!
