<sub>If it pleases anyone to know that I've nearly finished coloring my poster with all dem chibis. I've inked about a third of it, so I figure...another week and it'll be done.

I feel bad for not being any more various lately. I've been desperately wanting a tablet, and all the ideas for drawings I've come up with I don't want to do with marker. The reason being I don't have enough money to buy new pens or markers even if I wanted to. Damn you end of semester/christmas.

That and I guess I've been feeling muddled and a bit concerned. I don't know. Maybe I'm just tired. I worry a lot lately. I hope I don't become like my mother. Really.

Expect some scraps soon lovelies. Also, I'm sorry I haven't gotten around to continuing the Gray Feathers comic...I'm writing it now. I'll post it later today. Mm. Eye candy.

[update] Got 95 people drawn thus far. Still have about half, if not a tiny bit less of board space left. I've made it a goal to draw at least 10 characters a day, and it's been working Maybe that's what I need so I can stay committed to things. Do a few drawings a day, absolutely.

On a side note, dig the new header/footer...? xD Shut up, I did. The header makes a reference to the picture of Trinity in her bikini.

Lucas would like to see that again.


ANYWAY. Ahem. I apologize for my absence as of late. Finals are approaching and I've returned to my old 'draw all my characters as chibis on a giant illustration board'. So far I've drawn 46, and that was me working non-stop from about 2 to midnight. This is tedious, but so damn worth it.

<sub>Lol I normally hate Chicago-ian Holidays, but this day was the best xD


Just got back from seeing 'Where the Wild Things Are' with . Holy. jdfkjds. That movie was absolutely perfect in -every- way. Spike Jones directed everything perfectly, from the way the scenes were shot, to having Max played just perfectly. God. The Wild Things are so cool. I love KW. She's squishable. fksl. I was so happy with the result of the movie. Everything was like...fantastic. Just awesome.

xD And the funny part is I never even read the books.

But it was so totally worth it. The voices matched the characters so well. And I cried so much near the end xD

I recommend everyone go see it. Seriously. SO DISCUSS IT IF YOU HAVE AN OPINION ON IT.

Also, go to Applebee's if the nearest Chili's is 60 miles away for steak. I like steak.

<sub>I am writing this simply for the fact that I have nothing better to do with myself during my lunch half-hour. That and I've had a lot on my mind.

I had ramen on a whim. Creamy chicken - and I can remember the first time ever having had it. I was at 's house freshman year of high school, and I remember being so -happy- at having finally tried cup ramen. It renewed my love for the high-sodium death trap, something I hadn't had since my grandmother's death in 2000. Now I can barely stand it again, and after every noodley bite, I have to eat a Spongebob Shaped off-brand Cheez-it or apple.

My step-mother makes ramen from the package, and when she cooks it, she puts in an egg and tops it with cheese, then eats it with saltine crackers. I can do without the crackers, and the first half is always amazing to eat. But the second half is like a chore. Like Dairy Queen.

Dairy Queen likes to serve those massive portions of ice cream that no average person could eat. Amazing for the first five, six bites, then you just want to throw in the towel and take a nap. And you can't just re-freeze Dairy Queen's treats - if you don't eat them when you first get them, then they get that really stale, cardboard flavour. Especially the Peanut Buster Parfaits. The peanuts get all soggy and taste like how an old-folks home smells.

I've been drawing a bit more lately, though there's been a lot going on at home. This is my last real week up here before the semester starts again. I'm going down a week early with so I can help him move into his apartment. Our apartment, really - it has a nicer ring. Hopefully I can get a job right away, because if I don't, I'm screwed. Partially because I'm paying for half of the rent, and partially because next semester the government is pussy-footing out and dropping support for one of my major loans. What the hell is going on over there? Stop telling people to go buy cruises and big screen TV's. Tell them to help college students and old people.

There have been a hellacious amount of storms that rolled through here the last few days. But, per usual, none hit. Instead, they evaporated, then reformed on the other side of the lake. Balls. I always thought it was funny, because for the past year I've gotten over my fear of thunder storms, but I still pretend to be because I like the moral support. I don't know if that's selfish or not.

I've been thinking about Aetolia a lot lately. Not because I miss it or anything. No, just because I miss talking to some of the people that would play. As soon as I quit, half of my friends vanished off the face of the earth. I thought that was really funny - only wanting to be friends with a character I created, and once that character was gone, it was like "kwhatever". I still talk to some people, which is nice, but you know...

By the way, World of Warcraft does not deserve all the bad hype it gets. It's really, really fun.

For my comics, I have a ton planned out. And more so get added every day. So hopefully soon (with some help with paneling) I will get them started. Seriously. They're all in my head. Even the ridiculous retarded ones.

I feel like gushing out secrets and stuff O: Though I'm noooot sure why. Like,
I'm still afraid of the boogeyman. Every night I have to keep the covers over my head because he's watching from some place I can't see him.

I'm scared I'm not frothy anymore.

I want to go to Australia.

First off, I just wanted to apologize for the fact that I haven't hardly updated my deviantART lately with...well, art. This summer required a job, and my attention has been split between sleeping, working, hanging out with nomlove, and then sleeping again. Pooping and eating are somewhere in between.

What I'm trying to say is that I haven't had very much access to a scanner, and God forbid have I been able to access photoshop either. Need a sturdy surface...that and we reformated my hard drive lately, so I don't even have it right now xD

But I just wanted to say that I DO update... just put everything into my scraps folders. I have a lot of crap I load into scraps. Like this and this : D.

Another thing is I've been forcing myself to focus solely on my storylines, and worlds, and shit. It's a long story, and I don't have time to really talk about it now, but I'm finally buckling down and not only making plans, but starting a comic. Finally. Fuck me xD

STATUS: Daggers and Euphegenia Doubtfire the II are still available!



Hey, guys. I'm sorry for being so behind on updates, but work has been hectic. Specifically, there were kittens.

Monday we noticed some kittens and their mama wandering around the side of the garage at my work who had made their home in a freight carrier. Wednesday, we caught the five kittens when we realized the mama wasn't nursing and they were eating solid food (lol it was a squirrel), and after a careful search, we think we have them all There are two smokey gray ones (one female, one unknown), two light gray ones (one female, one unknown), and a black one that looks like their mama (suspected male).

What I'm getting at is, the kittens need a home, and even though I nearly -died- when I couldn't have the black one, I'm sending out a call to you buddies of mine who live in the Chicagoland Area and want a kitten that we have five, and if we can't find them homes, we'll have to give them up to be euthanized ;____; and nobody here wants that.

I took some pictures of the kitten caboodle so you guys can decide and spread the word.

This is the group of kittens we caught.
From left to right:
The white kitten looking back is Dip because she has white fur, but her tail is black. As a note, she has an eye infection, but she is being treated for it now.
The smokey gray one behind Dip is Daggers, because he/she is really skiddish and has sharp little nails. He/she actually spits when spooked, and is really shakier than his/her siblings.
The black kitten in front is my baby, Moony, and he is the tamest of the bunch, and has never once scratched or struggled when held. He's also the bravest, and likes to come out of hiding for food.
The other gray one in the back corner is Euphegenia Doubtfire the II, because she is the feistiest of them all, and hisses when anyone comes near her siblings. We named her that because we all thought she was a boy cat. She's all piss and vinegar, but is really a sweetheart once calm.
The last white kitten in front is Pinch, because he/she's the runt of the litter, and always hides in tight spots or sits on top of his/her siblings.

<sub>There's something strange, and almost unsettling about returning from an entire week away from a familiar place. I spent ten days at 's house, and it was, I think, the best spring break I've experienced since my journey to California. And that vacation was -epic-. For your info, I'm totally going to type out a day-by-day event list of stuff we did, because it was -epic-.

Friday we left pretty early, and drove the entire way with the top down (he has a convertable, rowr). We went out to St. Charles' historic street in Missouri thing, and spent nearly two hours walking around, eating old-fashioned ice cream and exploring different shops like Thistle and Clover, the Irish/Celtic/Scottish shop full of tartans and pretty hats. I have a picture of me in a driving cap. I was so hot. After that, we drove by his old house and his old neighborhood, then went to see his daddy's grave. It was so pretty and sad. Unfortunately, I got a terrible migraine headache about ten minutes from his house and ended up throwing up for a few hours and passing out in his room without getting to really socialize with the family. *was embarrassed*

Saturday we actually drove around (the top was still down) to Iberia, and got some om noms at a road-side stand, then stopped by a nearby park and ate on the slides. I tried my best to climb on the jungle gym net thing, but I got too scared 'cause I'm a chicken xD But Jon helped me get all the way to the top. Then we took a nap in the front seat of his car for a while until it was time to go home. At five, we went to meet up with Joelyse (Joe and Elyse, his brother and sister-in-law) and the rest of the family to look at their new house, which was -really- nice, and really big and pretty and had a gorgeous view of the lake. Now here's where it gets funny - Jon's brakes had been squeaking lately, and as we were backing out of the driveway, Jon accidentally scraped the underside of his car over a little stone thing, so it cut through his already rusted brake lines. We went back to Joelyse's apartment, sat around and talked for about 5 hours, then went out in the middle of the night for a topless (the car) night drive in the nearby forest preserve, and Joe kept saying how the brakes were terrible. And it turns out that all the brake fluid had drained out from his brakes, so Jon had no brake fluid in his front brakes. We ended up staying with Joelyse for a couple days until the nearby auto repair could fix it, but it was all good and fun. We got Dominoes pizza and Taste of Asia. Epic.

Tuesday there was a tornado a few miles south of Joelyse's apartment. Joe came in and woke Jon and I up to tell us. And Elyse was in the other room, freaking out because the sirens were going off, and it was just -pouring-. Of course, I was half asleep, so I hardly remember anything. Those two are a blast.

Wednesday we hung out back at his parents' house. For some reason, I have little recollection of it. Lol.

Thursday we went on an -adventure-. Or maybe it was Friday. Either way, it was -amazing-, because Jon and I were outside because it was pretty nice out, and the kids Michael and Olivia joined us, along with their dog, Elmo. The back of Jon's house is a giant orchard owned by their neighbors, so we were wandering around, looking at the massive ravine/valley behind the orchard, and began to wander into the next field over, and turned it into a journey where Jon became a mage called 'The Wizard', I was a rogue named 'Rogue', Michael was a hunter/sentinel named 'Author', and Olivia was a druid named 'Draeyla' (something like that). Also, their dog, Elmo, came with us - he was Sir Elmoeth. Their back yard is amazing, by the way. We went through fields and wandered along this barb wire fence, until we came to a clearing that turned out to be Michael's little friend's house, Zane. They were hanging out with their dog, Snuggles (wtf, who names a boy dog Snuggles?). They joined us on the adventure for a little bit. Zane was a hunter like Michael, and his little sister, Kayla (spelling?) was a fairy. <sub>It feels weird to me that it's already the seventh day of the new year. Feels like ages ago when I was sitting in a stranger's house, drinking champagne, eating artichoke dip, surrounded by kids under the age of ten and wishing I had a guinea pig.

I've been really happy. I've gotten to hang out with every day. Gotten to draw at least a new picture every other day. Gotten to relearn to hate my cat. Learn to miss all the things I couldn't take with me to Southern.

It's weird to me, because it's my college choice, but I don't really feel like I belong. It's a party school, but I'm on a study floor, yet people still ride around on scooters wearing dresses and ringing little bells. I miss the people that're here. At home. Yet I never made the effort to call, or even email any of you. Southern isn't the same. I don't think any college would be.

Weird. It's just weird. Because I miss all of my friends from around here. A lot. You'd think you'd make a ton of friends, but that's the thing about being on a floor with Juniors and Sophomores - everyone already knows one another.

I think that's what happens when you grow up a little more, and have to do everything for yourself. You get kind of lazy, even though you work on your responsibilities.

No, I have not been drinking. Not tonight.



I know a lot of you have been through college. Are in college. Are going to college. Whichever it is, I want to ask what you guys all think. What you think about college. What new friends you've all made. Where you're going in life. What you want to do. What you've done. Any regrets. Any new year's resolutions. Any old ones that you just accomplished. Talents. Video games. You name it.

(I don't like question marks tonight. Anyone notice that - I'm asking questions without sounding interesting, lol.)

<sub>The funny thing about college: you're always hungry. I really want some pizza, right now. Right. Now. fdjskghe RIGHT NOW.

We actually lost power yesterday around 4:30, and it didn't come back until 11:31. The funny thing was that it happened BEFORE the storm hit, so...lol. It was quite the event.

Our floor's RA came out and was like "I have three tubs of ice cream, and they're all going to melt - halp!" So, a small group of guys on my floor, the RA and I all sat down in the dark, trying to eat ice cream while watching this massive storm roll in from the south. We talked about the power outage being a result of the beginning of the Zombie Apocalypse, and about how just seconds after the power outage occured, dozens of military men were swarming the campus in a state of mild panic. We lol'd. It was kind of interesting, though, to find out that my dorm neighbor, Sam, is afraid of the following:

1. Heights
2. Zombies

So. It was fun. Then someone put on zombie nation with the battery power on their laptop and we all danced to Kernkraft. Sort of. Flashlight wars. Then everyone went out (friggin' insane), and I went to bed at 8:30.

But yeah. It was fairly interesting. I'm updating to inform all you watchers that I am going to be submitting some more art soon. I'm caught up in my classes (finally, wtf), and I have a little more freetime to doodle. That, and thanks to for reminding me to join the 100 Themes Challenge. Yes. I'm doing one. :< Expect 100 pictures of optimal crap. I'm so excited.

Also, except a huge sketchdump of stuff that I've done in my drawing class, ie. pictures of charcoal gestures. Gesture drawings. Hah. They're fun. I really like drawing people on bicycles.

In any case, I miss you all again. It's nice to see you're still updating, still alive, and I hope to get to talk to you soon. I won't be home until Christmas time, so, until then.

I miss home. A lot. My first night I ended up spending more time with 'cause I was freaking out about being left at school xD These rooms smell like cheese. And the downstairs/laundry room smells dank. I like it.

I've already spent like, 80 dollars on supplies for my art classes. My math class isn't so hard.... I think I have math today. Do I? I have health, I know that. Let me check.

But I have health, which I despise *lol*. So uh. I don't have long, since I have to leave for class in a few minutes, but I just wanted you all to know that I made it here safely. I still draw. I think. My roommate is awesome. I've just been a little distracted.

uhm. We were on the beach from about...9:30 to about 3. Well, 2:15 for me. I got so worn out after RUNNING FOR 4 HOURS IN THE OCEAN that I had to just...fall over.

And stuff. AFter wards we ate crab legs and crab dip at a -really- nice bar/restaurant, and sang along to a bunch of oldies. An we went shopping, and I bought some shells, and I'm going to try to bring home things for all you guys.

It's not so cold as it is horrifically windy. We're at a beachside hotel o: I can see the ocean. Literally. It's like, 30 feet away - and there are seagulls on the balcony, and they want to come in and play...how naive. I've been out walking since...oh, four-ish, and it's almost now seven. We got t-shirts. and I took pictures.

We left from the laydee's house this morning : D And it was a good 2 hour drive before we stopped at Williamsburg, which is like Jamestown (original settlements, and guys dressed in ugly white wigs and saying things like 'the publick pye'. no joke).

And then we went to a Pocahontas/John Smith walkway thing, and I took pictures of the rapids. People have pretty back yards.

and after another two and a half hour drive, we got to Virginia Beach. IT's very pretty : D I have pictures. Pictures for -you-.

Got major fail points there.


So yeah. After leaving on an hour long train ride at 2:20 yesterday, I took a second, 21 hour train ride from Chicago, to Charlottesville, Virginia. We got a sleeper car. It was very cold and dusty.

And it was fun. Because it was very rocky. And I ran into the bunk bed full force and cried like a baby. : D And we get to do it again Wednesday.

Uhm. We're here on vacation. Only for dos dias. Going to the Atlantic ocean where we will surely frolic about in the sunshine and play with sting rays.

I took some pictures on the train. They're pretty bad, because the window was dirty. So I'll share.

Though the photography made me physically ill (which sucked because half of the movie I was thinking "Don't puke don't puke don't puke") it was really good. I'd give it a good 2.5/3 stars out of 5. Not quite great, but not sucky. A lot of it impressed me. I smiled and giggled a lot too. It was funny and terrifying. The monster was pretty original too...I was like "Whoa...how does that thing walk?"

And the infirmary scene was holygasmic.

So was the bridge scene.


All I can say is: Flaming hobos. XD Go watch!

<sub>Yeesss...it's that time again! The dates have changed - give me a few months to get used to writing '08 at the top of my assignments, neh? Anyway. I'm giddy and frozen, because my first new years task was to head over to the annual neighborhood party, and entertain myself by babysitting. Ahh, yes - John, Madeline, Anna, Elliot, Bob, Laura, and Jack. Little devils, that they were. Two new kids too - actually, four, though the other two I didn't really see. Margo and Laura were precious *gigglefit*. But yeah. Spent the first 3 hours doing nothing but running away with 'carpet-slider' shoes and watching the Spongebob Squarepants movie. David Hasslehoff debuts in it. I died. Nine times.

And it was fun, because we were outside playing in the snow from about 11, to 12:30, when the temperature decided to drop 20 degrees in just as many minutes. Brr. I literally was shaking so hard I could not walk straight. Soaked to the bone until a bout 1:30 before I came home and saturated myself in the shower. It's almost 3:30 right now! And my mom is outside snow-blowing the driveway...she's insane. It's so cold. I'm still cooooldd waaaugghhhh someone give me wool and a heater. Lol.

Anyway. It's the new year, yessirreeeeee...and I'm going to work on a new picture of Nemo at the festering wastes..it's a neat concept. Also, did a picture of Odion I need to scan. Joined an OC contest that started...can't wait to do stuff for it.

1. At least once a week, I add a new word/sound effect to my vocabulary...for those who know me...you may notice I've been saying 'wah' a lot lately. Before, it was 'abhor'. Then it was 'mrr oDo'...note the pitiful trend.

2. ...I am very apprehensive about my future. Terrified, actually. Everytime I think about graduating, going away, living my own life, relationships, making it through...I have a heart attack.

3. I wish I was a mute sometimes. That'd be fun (and challenging...and frustrating...) trying to communicate with others through sign language, writing, motions, gestures...

4. I find almost everything funny.

5. Pre-2000 first person shooter games amaze me. The orignals, the pixels, the fake blood, the settings, the glitches, I -love- first person shooters. Doom, Duke Nukem, Blood, Strife, Witchaven, ORGASMS! I was -raised- watching those games. Now, I get my kicks out of any horrific/FPS game. :3 *can't wait to play Silent Hill or Fatal Frame*

6. I am modest. o: I know...I'm good at things, like singing and drawing (sometimes ._.), but I hate to brag, and I hate when people are full of themselves.

7. Most of my characters are androgynous, meaning they have no visible gender traits. I rarely have a female character with a large chest, and most of my male characters are feminine. A good example would be Alistair, my knight. It's a she, but she acts like a man/resembles a man. I like to make people guess (that, and boobs -terrify- me.)

8. I have vivid dreams, mostly fantastic, great scenes with towering buildings, epic landscapes, or characters that are fascinating...but when I do dream, I get depressed, tired, or irriated :3...

Short journal entry. Haven't really drawn lately (poo). This week was hectic: Monday was a voice lesson, Tuesday was IMEA Jazz tryouts (GOD DAMNIT *sob*), and yesterday I sang the national anthem at a football game :3. Tomorrow is a pep-rally, and I'm going to wear a t-shirt that makes up the 'R' in the word 'seniors', so...fun. *decorates* I'll take pictures.

But I'll hopefully get something done this weekend. I'll be going down to southern Illinois to check out a college there, then be cool.

Haha. I feel bad for neglecting deviantART. I mean, I go here every day, jeez. Mainly watching =Endling's Endzone, rooting for ~Unknown-person and ~effenndee, for sure. Those two have the most potential. Unknown is just fantastic with flash, and Effenn is just so talented with her portrayal of DEUS EX MACHINA. Seriously.

I'm sure you've all seen the horrific conformity-esque pixel ID plague that's sweeped through dA. Well guess what. I'm joining them. Sometime tomorrow (today, really...>_> *leers at the clock*) I intend on uploading my very own pixel ID. I've finally begun to spend more and more time working on my artwork, to make them better, rather than upload something new and crappy every other day. DON'T....let that discourage you, I'm still here and not dead = D....~

STORMS SUCK.

I got some new glasses? Yo. They're metal framed, and when I first put them on it was like stepping off of a rotating carnival ride. Y'know the one, with the tube that has stripes that goes round and round and round, and you cross the catwalk and try not to die? That one. I love that ride. Once I dropped my glasses down there, and had to climb down and get them and was running on that thing. That was at Sunny Acres farm. Good times.

Mrr. I've been searching to buy some old pre-2000 PC games, ie. Witchaven, Duke Nukem, and more importantly, Blood. I've already installed Recoil and Strife, and am in the process of locating Doom and Doom II...*pout* Me and my pixelated-urges. XD;;;

I've been watching =Endling's contest like a hawk now that it's narrowed down, and I've entrusted my entire self to the contestant, Climber, by ~Unknown-person. I'm such a sap for happy characters. They always make -me- smile. But seriously. If you get the time, check out their gallery. Their stuff is so friggin' great XD And Climber is -the bomb-. ALSO: there was an announcement that Climber'd be going against OMG, ~Sebbythefreak's character, which has my skin crawling, because they're both -fantastic- animators. THE BEST OF LUCK TO YOU BOTH *love*.


I don't know if I have much else to say that isn't personal? I plan on doing my own character-battle fight, much like =Endling's contest, except just draw, y'know, Gabriel fighting Fool. Or Hero Aki vs. Cairo. Just something for fun. I'm working on battle poses and such.

Joy to the world, I found the culprit!

In all actuality, it was just some kid in my US Government class who's already failed one year of high school. DA banned him, so he fessed up at the end of class, saying it was just a joke >_>. He found out about deviantart because I was mentioning it to a kid Trevor, and another kid, Kimi, in my room, so he was a smartass and logged on =w=. He also found my forum site by glancing at my computer and seeing the name. So. Yeah.

But all is pretty well now. The thief was a faker, just a kid who wanted to be an asshole because he's sad and lonely and can't graduate high school.


To everybody, thanks for your support through my mental breakdown.

K. Now that that's over. *relax* I'll tell you that I've been doing less drawing, and more designing as of lately. I'm taking summer school, and to keep my grade substained at a not fail I've had to focus, so less sketching and such.

Dances

Before I get started, I want to say that I've never watched "So You Think You Can Dance" in its full....episode. Particularly because I find dance boring to watch, unless you have more than just two people dueling it out on stage. No. But I caught the tail-end of this past week's one, and witnessed the most entrancing dance moves ever. Done to the song "Night of the Dancing Flame", by Roisin Murphy, two contestants, Lauren and Neil, did a jazz routine. Robotic jazz, if anything. And my god. It was so fantastic that I went on a two-day search to find it, and lo and behold I came across a youtube video of it this morning:

The above link is made of magic. The dance begins around 2:15, and Neil's act is great. XD The leg-dragging, the marionette act, and the 'come hither' grab is mind-blowing. I was so taken by it that I actually bothered to spend 10 minutes voting for them via phone. But hey, they passed with flying colours.

Stories

For the past week or so, I've been writing the story of Fool. So far, it's a 12-part story of the transformation from Hero Aki, to becoming the Oracle's Vessel, Fool. It has been the one story that I've poured my efforts out into, and I'm very pleased by it. I have a feeling, that because of my lack of energy that I give to my other stories due to their extensively long plotlines, I may not finish another work of literature for a long, long time. The only other works I'm considering finishing are World of Tomorrow, possibly War of Eons, and A Bittersweet Journey. The rest will be most likely abandoned, including On Her Wings. For those of you who liked that story, I'm sorry to disappoint you.

Transformers

Best movie ever. Since 300 of course. I was totally amused by the fact that they had a gangstah Jazz autobot. I died. Optimus Prime totally stole my heart, as did Bumblebee. Where the boy was being chased by his yellow car down the sidewalk, I couldn't help but wonder if I was the one driving. :3 *would do that*

I'd give it a million stars. If that were an option. Also, I saw The Reaping, which wasn't that great. And 23, which also was not that great. And Ratatoille, which was adorable, but not that great.

Accomplishments

Alright. I've completed quite a few things that have absolutely nothing to do with my own artwork or writings. I've finally started to watch the popular TV show, Heroes, and it's really lived up to it's expectation. I'm only on episode 11 and I'm still amazed by the characters.

67 hours and 51 minutes of playing Okami for PS2, and I've finally completed it. The most amazing storyline, beautiful characters, fantastic backgrounds and music, the game really left me breathless after I'd finished it. I mean, what other game do you get the boss DRUNK to defeat him? Seriously. It's great. I may do some fanart for it when I finish writing. ALSO, if I go to AnimeCon next year, I will dress up as Waka, the Half-Baked Prophet. XD

As for animated shows, I watched all 51 episodes of Kaleido Star, and the 1 OVA, which was an extremely well-made series. The movements were smooth, and they didn't cut very many corners. It was fairly cliche, but it was meant to be a feel-good show, so my only suggestion is that you watch it whenever you have the chance. Don't say you don't like it until you give it a shot.

But no, I'm sort of back. Just a small update. I've done a million, bajillion sketches, but nothing that was actually worthwhile to be considered a deviation. PLUS, I'm working on World of Tomorrow again. And completely restarting the Harmony comic, because my own drawing skills failed me. So if you're wondering where pages 2-5 went, they died. The first one isn't changing though.


So this all means that I am not dead.

I think it's just because I'm nearing the end of the semester. Literally. We have like, 4-5 weeks left before school gets let out.

Problem: I'll be gone from about...eight AM, to five PM. Just waiting to hear if I got through or not. I don't want to get recognized in singing; I don't want to be recognized for my voice. I have no singing heart.

I'm supposed to go to my dad's. But because of this I can't. Again. This is the second weekend in a row I"ve missed him ;_;

I'm back, and I sang, and made a super killar awesome girl named Katherine and we were like TWIIINNNZZZ o3o. She made it to the semi-finals and I didn't, though, so I'm good = D *home and ready to leave to her dad's*

I got lots of loot o3o Most of which I have already watched, used, and/or played. Speaking of which, before I get into all the details, I want to post up the works of art people have made for me so far XD;; And if anymore come in, then I'll edit and add those too, I promise <3

also made me a really nice card with some really snazzy drawings on them o3o They're pretty, but that's because she's amazing XD

But anyway. Aside from the 50+ birthday punches, I got some really nice CLOTHES (which I took back a lot of them XD) And now I have like, 50 dollars in-store credit with Kohl's. Which sucks. I don't like shopping for clothes.
But that's okay. Kendra got me Toxicity and System of a Down, the two System of a Down CD's I didn't have XD "Sugar", "Chop Suey", and "Peephole" are awesome...
I want to get some fuzzy slippers with that money. I also got a sweet deal at Dick Blick, where I got like, six markers (I was going to get six more, BUT they were like, ransacked the day before XD;; *didn't get the other ones she wanted*), but that's okay ;D My dad also got me Dead Like Me season 2 vol. 3, which rocks. That show is amazing. Rube is GOD.
My mom got me a Border's giftcard for $25 dollars, because they're GOING OUT OF BUSINESS SOMEDAY SOON AND DON'T DO RESERVES, so I bought myself the Happy Feet Original Score Soundtrack, Life vol. 4, and Fruits Basket vol. 16. Totally worth it. And, my brother got me a Gamestop giftcard, so I stopped by Gamestop, and lo-and-behold: THEY HAD OKAMI FOR 10 DOLLARS OFF, so I got it. Now I'm the proud owner of Okami <3 *can't wait to play*
Oh, and we went to WalMart. My mom got me some of those little chocolate, cream-filled eggs for easter tomorrow. And "Anger Management" and "Mothman Prophecies" because they were in the $5 bin. I plan on watching them soon.
My dad got me this awesome dragon and a cute little glass kitten, and my brother got me some money and a T-Shirt that inspired me to be musical again. He totally rocks. He also wanted to take me out for 'drinks', but I'm only 17. So I have to still wait...4 years *whine*.
~Milly-Fox got me Haibane Renmei vol. 1 too, which I watched until 2 AM last night, and dear lord, the artwork and storyline is just amazing @_@ It's so pretty, I love Rakka and Kuu~! Oh, and Tammie got me a cute little Totoro, and it's made so I can hang it off of my cellphone. *glee*
What I find most odd about thsi birthday, is the lack of money I got o3o...like, literally, half my relatives just sent me cards that said "happy birthday". So I lol'd. I'll get them soon.....>D

Overall it was a really nice birthday. Even though I'm at the rip-off age.

My wisdom teeth experience................was not fun in any way, shape, or form. On any level. Everything that everyone said about going under being cool was a -lie-.

I was still awake and fully aware of what was happening when they stabbed me twice with the IV (they -missed- the first time), and then was aware when they propped open my mouth and went in for the kill.

I think I fainted. XD

But I woke up two hours later disoriented and wobbly, and had to be taken in a wheelchair to a bathroom because I had to pee XD *felt so helpless*


Now here's the fun part. They made me take my medication on an empty stomach. And if anyone has ever done that before, you'd know it's a big, BIG no no. I took them, then chose to take a nap.

And wouldn't you know it, here I am nearly 12 hours later, puking my brains out of anything that enters my stomach, including my medication, can't stop bleeding, drooling all over myself (XDaaaauugughghghhh) and sore to all hell because of when I threw up XD

*tired* I'm telling you this because I probably won't be able to draw today. Or tomorrow. Like I'd planned.

So, I got together tonight with my pals Tony and Joanna, and we get to the theater around 6:50 or so, correct? And we meet up with *Aoimii just for a few minutes, then proceed to spend the next hour and a half playing Uno and War with a deck of cards.

SOLITARE = D *wanted to play* *doesn't work well with 3 people*

We finally decide at 8:15 that we should get inside, go to get into the theater, and there's a line that's about 200-300 feet long leading to the entrance. It was hysterical, and we hung out with this foreign exchange student from Germany, and got some seats not too far back and stuff.

And then the movie, bweehee. Aside from the first 20 minutes being boring plot-set-up and sex around every turn...



300, by far, has been the most tactical, most brilliantly thought out movie I have ever seen. I've never witnessed such...beauty in the form of battle before, and by god, this movie completely blew my mind away. Worth every penny = D


XD My only issue was with the bloodspray; plenty of it, but several times when it hits the ground, it just evaporates. I lol'd everywhere. Then my body decided about an hour in to start getting me sick, so I ended up spending the last 45 minutes trying to breathe and drinking water so I didn't die XD

(I'm ill, just so it makes sense.)

But, yes, this update was mainly for the movie in a sense (I still need to see 23, and Zodiac, by the way : D), and that this weekend I have literally no homework, so I'll hopefully get lots of art done @D *hopeful*

So...


Go see 300.

And make fun of the sexual innuendos between the Persian Leader and the Spartan captain. Hysterical.

No, actually, the thing I'm working on is a renewal of an old project I had Freshman year, that I was like "Hey, I'm going to draw EVERY SINGLE character I've made that had some significance to me".

No no, just kidding. That was just to get your attention. Onto real matters: The date that my teeth shall be removed is 8:30 am on March 26th ;D I'll be IV'd and drugged so silly that I'll more than likely be completely jgwilahy39uy2pkdwfl XD

That, and my oral surgeon discovered that the reason I've had all the pain and headaches, ear infections, numbness and even bad eyesight is because of the muscles in my jaw that go to my sinus. The muscle in the far back corners of my mouth, the ones behind where the wisdom teeth come in, is supposed to be really soft. Mine's tight and feels like strings under the skin almost, so I have to go get therapy for my face o^o I KNEW THERE WAS SOMETHING WRONG WITH ME. XD

Oh oh oh. *Aoimii's b-day is tomorrow. Go get her. Now. 'Fore it's too late.

SO I WENT TO THE MALL, and got Loveless issue 4 (score for Aki ;D ) and I FOUND MY CD. Afte rMONTHS of waiting to get my damned 'Roar of the Earth; shadow of the Colossus' soundtrack, I saw it out of the corner of my eye at the store. Freaked out, squealed, and hugged the salesman. I do'nt normally do that ;D Then I got a pro-ninja shirt and went home to blare my songs and work on page 5 of Harmony o_o Jake is really sex0rz.

...why are crouching people so hard to draw?

Oh, and Valentine's day is coming up. I'm planning something special for all of you (hopefully) and, I hope it'll turn out right. I just have to get on track with myself and start thinking less about school and more about my life XD

According to my dentist, I'm at that age that the reason why my face goes numb and I get so sick at random is from my wisdom teeth coming in. Like today I abandoned the school. Blegh. *went home*

I'm at the grandparents' house. And goodness, I've never smelled anything worse than rotten potatoes and infected dog feet before.

My grandma's doggy, honey, is like, 18 now, so she's getting kinda old ;^; But I still love her, despite that old-age smell and her oily fur. She's my bbbaaaaabbbyyyyyyyyy mush mush *eats the dog* It's cute. When I was little I used to be terrified of her. If it made noise, it was something to fear, in my opinion. Hu hu. I love her now though, no doubt about it.

But anyway, she's gotten some tumors growing on her side and her legs, but they can't take them off because they're attached to her organs or something. To add to that, she got glass in her foot on her last walk, and it got infected and now she has this really gross looking fungus growing on her paw. Smells like a dead animal, and when I came here with my mom, the sock we'd wrapped her foot in was so soaked with blood, it...you get the picture.
