I'm very grateful for the good things. My wonderful family still puts up with me (that is a claim to sainthood if there ever was one!) and the drawing thing is kind of working better, I thing. I'm very grateful for the chance to continue doing Elephantmen, and the new projects that arrived, like Hoax Hunters and The Line it is Drawn. I've met and worked with great and talented people. These past weeks have been hectic. But productive. Since last week, Hoax Hunters 2 has been out in the world, and reviews have been mostly positive (except from the girl at Multiversity... she doesn't like it, and she writes a LOT telling us why). Since this wednesday, Elephantmen 42 appeared at your local comic book store, and response has been fair. Everything moves forward.

Among the blessings I count, definitely the two highlights were the birth of my little heiress (who is just saying "dad" as I write) and the Elephantmen gig (which I'm enjoying more by the day).

There were many other things, not so good, some definitely awful. But here we are, we are stil standing, and we are hoping the next year to be better for everybody.

At least during those five days...

It was a different convention experience for me... for one, I finally had something like a home base. Thanks to :iconmechangel2002: for stopping by. And :iconjigga133: so glad to see you there, man!

In other things, well, I got to get me some nice artbooks, I met nice people, I managed to be speechless when Dave Gibbons stopped at the booth, drew a lot, ate a lot of different stuff which shouldn't be combined, and all in all, had a great time.
