We where kind of forced to move from our home in three days last week, since then we have been moving stuff and settling in with my mother in law, so artistically I haven’t been able to do anything at all, I still need to find a comfortable place where I can draw at our new home.
Also the magazine I work for hasn’t given me any work either and closed for vacations (it’s odd because they only did it in December) so I feel I’m kind of walking on a VERY thin/fragile rope right now.

Anyway I also received news today about my "Viva la Ladillita" mini poster prints that are FINALLY online at Indy planet, if you have a couple of bucks to spare i would really appreciate the help by purchasing some of these posters ^^ (if you spread the word around ill really appreciate it).

Here are the links:

[link]
[link]
[link]
[link]
[link]
[link]
[link]
[link]
[link]

I just remodeled my blog to make it look less like a blog and a bit more "professional". Also created a Domain for it with the free .TK domain names, so i have my blog as glenfx.tk (is not a .com, but it serves just the same)

Im not really much of a talker (i guess you already noticed that.. lol) but I also connected to Twitter, found it to be a good source of information and communication (though many people abuse it with stupid things).
Anyway here is my tweet link [link]

Lastly I've been watching Otis Frampton work live (really cool) and i got excited and made a few marker sketches, I must say im very happy with them (ill be posting those later this week).
I found that using prismacolor fine point markers on "opalina" boards (local paper brand) I can clean the pencil work and use regular prismacolor markers on top and it wont smear the inked lines. (so im very...VERY happy about it)

BTW, thanks everyone for all the faves and watches, I havent been keeping track and thank everyone individually.
So Thank you all.

Ive been working on several things at the same time, a comic, a game, my regular work and a web page, also fixing some pages for the webpage (web comic style) but seems i never get anything done.

I feel im really slow at things, my regular work drains me quite a lot even if it isn't too much to be done.
When i feel i want to create things i have to go out, and when i get back home im without the desire to do anything at all, or its time to go to bed.
Some other times I start looking at the 800+ DA images (i don't see them daily, so they pile up on me ) so after looking at 50 im encouraged to draw something, but if i keep on looking that desire goes away as i feel saturated. (Damn im weird), don't know how others are active in a gazillion forums and yet have time to do lots of work.

I REALLY need a way to organize time and not getting bored by it. (any ideas?)

Im very slow on my comic because i really need materials to work with and its quite difficult to find good materials in my country, starting with the ink, the ink is just terrible, the black ink is 40% watered black so it looks really BAD on paper, and the paper is beyond expensive. I purchased a "local" layout 25 sheets block at 45$ and have been "inking" with Pilot drawing pens, so the lines are somewhat flat looking.
Also the only markers im able to find here are Chartpacks at 15$ each, and they sell here only 12 colors (you know.. markers are for kids!, so 12 colors are more than enough, and use pink for the skin) >_<.

The only online art shop that sells internationally and has paypal, accepts paypal only for US citizens.. and i MUST use paypal, cant use my credit card because of a monetary control in my country and all my online money is in paypal.

So im really starting to work on the idea of trading sketchcards for art materials. I was thinking something in the lines of:
-a full color sketchcard for 3(copics) or 4(prismas) markers, or 1 copic marker pad or 1 Canson Pro layout Pad.

.-
Anyway, a few months back i won first prize for the UFO Hunters contest from History Channel, and a few weeks ago i received the prize package in the mail... but it was only the empty box of the Ipod Touch T_T, somewhere in the middle in transit the equipment was stolen and i received the empty ipod's box... yay! -_-, and haven't heard from the people who sent the packages either after the few emails i sent.

Out of curiosity I went to apple's store trough the itunes application, but even apple has the stupid US only restriction for everything?, whats the whole point of having an ipod in my country anyway??... to have a small bunch of crappy applications at your disposal?, i didn't even see Latin music in the freaking store under my country.
So that's what they call Globalization?.... riiiight!!.

my last rant (i hope) now all the cinemas in my country are showing movies dubbed in Spanish, so now not only do we have to wait a few months later to see the movies in the theater, we have to also be punished by listening them in crap dubs in Spanish too?, no wonder why piracy here is so strong, that and the fact that original movies are sold at 50-60$ per DVD, and it gets worst for games being sold at 170+$ each.

<<sorry if you received a journal message... i was messing with the css feature ^_^ >>

Hello world!!.

Well, here's the story.....
I’m trying to level up (improve) my drawing skills again, but whenever I start I loose more time thinking what to do that I end up drawing random heads and circles instead.
SO, I thought it would be better for me if people asked me to draw things than waiting for my muse to return from her long vacation (though I think she moved from country because its been a long time ^^)

Anyway, I want to do them for free as I want to grow up artistically rather than making quick money (though if it’s in your heart to donate something I wouldn’t mind ^^ )

Here's the deal
I want to focus on living beings (women, men, monsters, cyborgs, beasts, aliens...etc) on any style (Comic, cartoon.. maybe caricature, chibis and manga)
Preferably one character, two tops... could fit three if it’s really necessary.

So, if you’re interested just post a reply here saying what would you like me to draw or even better send me a note, if the character is a known, unknown or your own character I would really appreciate some link(s) to see who he/she/it is since I rather spend time drawing than looking for references.

Also if you have a specific pose in mind or want the character to be doing something (not sex or porn please) just write it in as well as it would be a great starting point.
(If you want something reaaaaally specific and don’t know how to explain the pose to me, you can look for poses in the cool pose gallery of )

What you’ll get.
A sketch of the character in digital form, depending on my time and amount of requests, I might re-trace it (digital inking) and even apply colours, though the whole idea is to do sketches.

So hope I get you interested and start asking away ^^

PS: I will do them in the order I receive them, and I will make them trough the week since I get my load of work from Fridays to Mondays.
