See, a couple months ago, my roommate walked in my boyfriend and I during...an intimate moment and she got really upset. I mean, yeah, I stupidly left my door open, but that was because I thought she'd be gone at class all day. Anyway, over the next few days she was still very upset because we're both Christian and we don't believe in premarital sex. So I can understand that she felt betrayed by me and my huge mistake. *thus my shame* She said it was also the first time she'd ever seen that, even though she kinda just saw our legs. Anyway, I apologized multiple times and we talked about it tons and we even video-chatted with my parents about ways to get past it. The whole time I was thinking, I don't understand why this is so traumatic for her. I mean, we're good friends, but I had previously told her that I'd broken my promise to remain pure. I just didn't get why this was affecting her so much and why she was treating it as a personal offense.

So in order to be cooperative and make amends, I agreed that my boyfriend wouldn't come in the apartment at all for a month. We mostly returned to normal during that month, but then, a few days before the time limit was up, she started acted a little cold to me. And on the day the time was up, she brought it up, saying that she didn't want to think about it but the month was over. We agreed that my boyfriend would come over only while she was at class and her internship because she explained that it was like "out of sight out of mind." And then, a couple days later my boy friend and I prepared to leave the apartment because she sent me a text saying she was coming home. We went upstairs to my apartments computer lab to find her sitting there, so we abruptly turned around and went to the gym. I tried to text what that was about, but she said we'd talk about it later. Then when I got home she was locked up in her room. She holed up there for a few days. One day I came home and her door was open so I said, Hey, let's talk, but she shut the door in my face. Then I decided, okay, I'll write her a note. So I wrote a note apologizing for anything I'd done wrong and saying that I was ready to talk when she was. I found a note by my door later that day that said just texting me to say she was coming home made her think about the incident and that when she saw my boyfriend at the door of the computer lab she snapped. Here's a quote: "Just thinking about your betrayal makes my blood boil." At that point I said, okay, my boyfriend will no longer come in the apartment in a note. Then she came out of her room and spoke to me a little for the rest of the school term. She went home for break and I stayed at the apartment, and we agreed we could probably start over once the break ended and she came back.

Well, now it's the new semester. She came back Tuesday (it's now Thursday) and I haven't seen her at all. We post our school schedules on the fridge and when I looked at hers, she has at least 6 classes, as many as 10! The average student takes 4, maybe 5! For those of you that have actually read all of this, I ask you, what am I to make of this reaction? I speculate she might be taking this many classes in order to finish her schooling as quickly as possible and be away from me. I don't know if I'm reading into this too much, but I JUST DON'T GET IT!!!!!! Why is she so extremely affected still?!?! It's been almost 3 months! Why is she treating this like it's something I did TO her? This is my own problem. She's hardly involved. I just don't understand. And she pretty much refuses to talk about it. I'm trying to be understanding and put myself in her position, but I certainly would not have behaved like this at all. Agh, so what do you think guys? I seriously am confused.

I've begun writing a very weird story about a girl with ridiculously average and normal parents. She's secretly very odd, though, and she eventually finds out that she has quite possibly the weirdest family on the planet! Her aunts, uncles, grandparents, and cousins are possibly not human. And after exploring their bizarre mansion, she stumbles on a door she ought not to have opened and finds....well, can't reveal that yet. But I've just had a dream that has inspired me to write it. Unfortunately the beginning is on my laptop that died a couple weeks ago, so I won't be able to write in it for a bit. T_T

Well, to be honest, I didn't enjoy it all that much because I was stuck behind my artist's alley table most of the time. Furthermore, I was completely unprepared for artist's alley. I didn't have much in the way of display, so my table didn't really stand out, and I was way off in the corner facing a wall. I made like 150 or 160 dollars, but it doesn't cover all the expenses anime expo cost me.

But on the bright side, I took Saturday off to go around the convention and everyone was taking pics of me. I wasn't really in a cosplay, just an outfit of random things I had. But for some reason it was really popular. And this one guy dressed as Master Roshi kinda had a thing for me. haha, the pervert. But best of all, when I was sitting outside, a bunch of japanese people came over to me. Mind you, they crossed the street specifically to come over to me. And then a really hot guy asked if he could take a picture with me, and when I stood up, he was like "Ah, soooooooooo cute!" A JAPANESE MAN COMPLIMENTED ME! D: I never thought I would see the day when a japanese man would call me cute.

I also took a lot of pics with my friends who were dressed like a j-rock group in matching outfits. Unfortunately, I didn't have a camera, but if I find some pics of us I'll steal them and post them :3

In other news, I'll be posting my anime expo art in the next few days, so please look forward to it. And yay! I just hit my 10k kiriban!

I plan to sell a bunch of lolita posters and maybe a lolita calendar. Some place mats, too. I also hope to make a bunch of pretty ladies in kimonos. I'm not too good at fan art, but I might try my hand at some CLAMP characters such as Chi, Yuko, and maybe even Sakura and Syaoran. I'm definitely going to try to do a Chi/Freya. If any of you have good ideas of what I should draw, then please tell me. Stuff you think I would be good at and that would really sell. No yaoi, though. XD

Furthermore, I really want to use photoshop to color my pics so they look pro, but I have no idea how to use it. All of you colorers out there, I'm begging you, please teach me or show me some good tutorials. I MUST use photoshop to be successful.

And a slight update about me. I just finished my finals for school, so I'll be able to work hard on art and my lolita cosplay! XD But I have to move AGAIN. Oh noes! I splurged and bought a petticoat! I'm going to use it to make that lolita dress I just uploaded! XD I'm so excited. It looks like a giant asian lantern, haha. But I stupidly didn't check the prices at other stores and ended up spending 3$ more than another store's price. I sure learned my lesson.

In otherness, I find that I don't have my usual spunk. I feel unfunny and like I have nothing to say. It's not that my head is empty, it's quite the opposite. My thoughts won't slow down. It's so hard to fall asleep cause my brain won't settle down. Poo.

My boyfriend is 20 now. D: It's so weird. I thought he was going to be 19 forever. Even he doesn't like it.

In other news, I thought I might share this random story with you. Some time ago, I plugged an MP3 player into my computer and after I unplugged it, my computer seemed to think it was still in there. A little pic of the device kept appearing telling me that it was safe to remove and this really annoying sound came with it. I swear, it's been like that, constantly, for about a month or more. And I 'd turn the sound off, but I use my computer for my music. Every time I tried to click on the icon, nothing happened. Finally, just now, I tried to click on it again, and a big window popped up with a button that said "STOP." And I was like, "Yes, please." I clicked it and it's gone! Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That was the most annoying thing that has ever happened to me, and I just found it funny that there was a button that said stop on it.

Well, the results are in. It appears that the majority of people would like me to start with The Finding Place manga. I have a few practice pages done, but I'm swamped with sketching homework, so it may be a week or so till I can continue. haha, well, knowing how I love to procrastinate, maybe not. 1) RATS. And not just any rats. Sewer rats. I've been seeing a lot of rats running around at night, and for some reason, I get a warm fuzzy feeling when I see them. I don't understand it, but they look so cute.

3) ROADTRIPS. Er, if they're with friends. It's just fun when that song that everyone knows comes on and you're singing it at the top of your lungs with the windows down.

In other news, my roommates are all moving out next quarter. I get along fine with all of them. They think I'm funny and I clean stuff, so...who wouldn't love me?
Sadly, however, my roommate who shares a bedroom with me doesn't get along with the other two. They always come to me separately to gossip or complain. I admit that my roommate who shares a room with me (let's call her N) is rather messy. She leaves her dishes unwashed for a week (sometimes more) and she uses our dishes for her painting stuff. I'm a laid back person, so it doesn't bother me that much, except when I have to clean her dishes because there's nothing to eat on, but my roommates get upset very easily. Plus, my roommates always wait until they're super pissed off to tell another roommate what they did wrong. Oh well, I'm moving in with new ones in December.

Yay!!!!!! I made my first anime friend! She goes to church with me and she even invited me to move in with her! We have really similar personalities, so I think I'll be really happy with her.

In other other news, My boyfriend and I have decided to do a Kurotsuchi Mayuri/Nemu cosplay :3 I'm not too thrilled about him being Mayuri because he's not very...pretty...but oh well. I've also been considering a Soi Fon cosplay and that Zelda cosplay of mine...well...it's somewhere...

If you've read all of this, I'll give you a drawing of one of my characters. Yes, that's right, one of MY characters. I'm that lazy.

So, I have 5 classes spread throughout the week and I'm loving the freedom of my schedule. I feel like I'm not wasting any time in classes I don't need and such. Plus, LA is sorta my old home, as I used to live in Burbank. It's not a culture shock and I'm loving walking everywhere. I may even have lost a little weight.

I'm worried about getting a job, though. I had an interview and filled out several applications but I'm thinking it might be a while till I get a job.

What's been on my mind most is that I met boyfriend! XD Actually, we met on here 3 months ago. It seems dubious, but we talked for like 4 hours every night and I finally got to meet him. Don't worry, it was in a safe place. And now we meet almost every day. It's so awesome. We never really plan what we're gonna do, so we just end up walking around and getting food and exploring random places. Ah, it's been awesome. Anyhoos, it's been a few weeks, but things are going well. Thanks foh readins! XD

Anyway, what have I been up to? I've been going to college. I've had a week and a half of classes, which are all pretty easy so far, fortunately. Anyway, the person who shares a room with me is Christian, so I feel very fortunate. We both hate partying and stuff.

Have you ever wondered why guys have nipples? An age old question that has plagued generations. But I have discovered the answer!

I was watching the History Channel and there was a special on skin. It explained that nipples are formed on a fetus before the gender is determined, so all babies automatically have them. What a revelation! Another baffling question answered!

Do you like my drawings of Petal less than my other stuff?

I mean, my Petal drawings always have like half as many views as my other stuff. If you don't know which drawings I mean ([link] [link] [link] [link]) Why is this? I've even been researching when is the time the most people are on deviantart and trying to post my stuff then. So, is it because

a) the art isn't as good
b) it's not colored
c) it's boring to look at
d) it all looks the same (i fear this is probably it)
e) other

Please tell me, cause I just want to make better stuff. I need your honest opinion. Please don't be afraid of offending me, cause I need criticism. I promise to take it positively and thank you for your help and advice.

At the same time, however, I have to wonder if maybe I assume people will see Petal in the same way I do. I fear people will see my Petal drawings as emo. NO. NOT EMO. Sorry, I have nothing against emoness, but I am definitely not emo. Also, does Petal come across as angsty? She's supposed to appear innocent and confused, but tears are always streaming down her face as though its just a part of her. And then I like to write these strange statements on my drawings with Petal that aren't supposed to come across as angsty. Like the one that says Maybe No One Needs You. It poses the question of uselessness. But it says MAYBE. I mean, it's not necessarily supposed to be me saying those things. It's like someone is asking Petal that and she doesn't understand. Or maybe someone is asking you.
And then the piece that says You're Never Alone When You Have Yourself poses an impossible thought. No one can be comforted by themselves when they're lonely. That's the definition of loneliness. Needing another's presence. And yet, what if you could comfort yourself and make yourself unafraid?

Anyway, the point is, do my Petal pieces seem angsty? Ridiculous? Boring? Cause a friend of mine told me he thought they were missing something, but I love my Petal drawings the best. So....well, what do you think?

I wanted to be an Olympic gymnast. Yes, that's right. I used to be a gymnast. But my parents were too poor to put in the amount of money it would take for my training. Despite that, I still did gymnastics for about 7 years.

Well, I'm a Scorpio and a Horse. Dums...I does not know what they are supposed to be like.

It somehow feels pathetic to say it, but manga is the answer. I was the happiest person alive when i discovered anime. The truth is, I have and always will, want to be an anime character.
