The Train Compartment

There were four people sitting in a train compartment: an old lady who was knitting, a young woman who was reading a book, a lecturer who was talking about his research, and his young student whom he was taking to a conference, and who was listening to his lecturer and taking down notes.

This situation continued for quite a while. The old lady knitting, the young woman reading, the lecturer talking away, and the student listening.
Then the train went into a tunnel, and the compartment was plunged into darkness. No-one...

Beware Phishers

It looks like someone logged into a site that was Phishing (a mock webpage designed to trick you into logging into it so they can get your login and password), and then started posting "Hey. check out this funny blog!! LOL CLICK HERE"

Just do not click such things and if you see someone post it on your page, mark it for spam so it is hidden and the Admins can deal with it while preventing others from clicking on it.

Personally I find it rather stupid that someone would want to log into accounts on dA. What would the point be other then shits and giggles? It is my opinion that anyone who does do that needs to get a life.

So my parents and family have lived on this farm for 19 years which belonged to one of my Aunts and Uncles. The other day we received a letter in the mail from them stating that now that our Dad was gone (died just a month prior and is my Aunts brother), that we need to move by June.

I am like, "WTF". So it now has my Mom in tears since she feels like the farm is home and by being there she is close to Dad. It is just so callous and to be honest I am at a loss of words. I guess their true feelings about us is now known though I never suspected, but we were apparently only tolerated.

Happy Holidays

This year Christmas felt pretty good even though it was without my Dad, it still felt good. I remember last Christmas felt like the worst I had ever had though I can not really explain why I felt that way but now I wish it had been the best since it was the last I had with my Dad.

I got three shirts which I love that feel smooth and really nice on my skin, one is a deep blue, another charcoal and the third is a burgundy red for the holidays. Also got two 2GB flash drives, the movie Wall-E and a wave cooker thing which is on back order.

Life Is A Yoyo

New Look

I was surfing and checking out some other users pages when I came across someone using this CSS, followed it to `nyssi's page and after checking it out decided to use it. It is pretty awesome in my opinion and maybe later I will tweak it to fit in a Superman theme.

Sad News

On December 2nd at around 2 am my Dad's sugar level dropped suddenly and his heart stopped a few times and by the time he arrived at the hospital was in a deep coma. With each passing day his brain activity became less and less.

On Friday the 5th at 10:45ish we pulled his life support and he passed away at 12:11 am on Saturday. It is a truly surprising, shocking and devastating loss. I have always prepared that my Mom would pass away at anytime but to suddenly find my Dad gone, well lets just say that its possibility was never thought of.

How A Christmas Tradition Started

When four of Santa's elves got sick, the trainee elves did not produce toys as fast as the regular ones, and Santa began to feel the Pre-Christmas pressure.

Then Mrs. Claus told Santa her mother was coming to visit, which stressed Santa even more.

When he went to harness the reindeer, he found that three of them were about to give birth and two others had jumped the fence and were out, heaven knows where.

Then when he began to load the sleigh, one of the floorboards cracked, the toy bag fell to the ground and all the toys were scattered.

Frustrated, Santa went in the house for a cup of apple cider and a shot of rum. When he went to the cupboard, he discovered the elves had drank all the cider and rum. In his frustration, he accident...

Last Month Of The Year

A New Month

Nothing super fascinating going on this month but I felt it was time to update the journal with at least something.

Some random thoughts right now:
I've been looking around thinking about places I would like to move too, Wisconsin is great but I think I would like some change. One place I considered was Roswell, GA. Yes Georgia not New Mexico lol. It is a nice community and not far from Atlanta so you could call it Roughing It for a city hearted guy like me.

Another place I recently found is Battle Creek, Michigan. How it came to be called Battle Creek is not because of some famous Civil War battle, but well I will let this excerpt from their history say it as it is.

-Named for a skirmish between a government land surveyor and two Indians which took place seven miles away and almost 175 years ago, Battle Creek is proud of its rich and varied past. Known in different eras of its history as the Queen City, Health City and the International City, today Battle Creek is Cereal City, the "best known city of its size in the country."-

It is called Cereal City because it is home of the two largest cereal companies in the world, Post and Kellogg's where they were founded.

I feel like living in a place called Battle Creek for both its name and how it came to be called such, so fitting and poetic I think.

Passions of the Heart v2.0

What is Your Passion

Thinking about Max brought me to thinking about passions and what it means to be passionate about something. I was thinking about the things that made me passionate over the time. There are of course friends who come and go in our lives, each meeting enriching and shining ourselves.

I think I am passionate about knowing and trying to remember everyone and every thing they have contributed to ourselves. Even the person you bump into who you think is the worst bug to crawl out from under a rock influences you in one way or another, effecting how you think about them, others and even yourself.

Then there is family, those tied to you by blood, paper or emotion who have become a intricate part of your inner circle. Usually they are the ones who you share your deepest parts with and trust absolutely. Sometimes the betrayal of someone at this level of trust can hurt badly, but one can never turn their backs on their family without losing a part of themselves. Truly this is a very powerful passion.

Belief is another strong passion. Life's experiences have given us a sense of accomplishemnt and experience building up what we have learned and believe, effecting a positive or negative influence on those beliefs. We become enwrapped in our confidence and sometimes we let our passions over ride our sense to remember that we are not done growing and shining, that we are always and forever growing. Never let passion give you a false sense of all knowing for then all it does is build walls you can not see beyond.

Then there are passions that involve two or all three. To be alive is to be passionate. To live and breath is to be human and to care about something. Life is passion, even faith is a passion.

I am passionate about my devotion to my close friends, my family both by blood and by choice. I am passionate with where my heart is freely given and my commitment to it. I believe no one should suffer, even the ones who I do not like. Life is passion.

Max is my passion as well. <3

I love all things Superman, and I saw another scion entry with the superman stuff but it seemed choppy but this one is really nice. And I think the pink breast cancer scion is worthy for anyone to drive. If they did a car like that, then a % of the proceeds should go to breast cancer research.

Top 10 Worst Places To Live

The Top 10 List

I have decided to list the top ten places I consider the worst places to live in the world and will be posting them starting from 10 and working my way up to number 1. If I have listed a place that you yourself love or enjoy, please do not take it personally as everyone has different influences to why they like somewhere or not.

10. Anywhere in the state of Iowa. I am sure there are great people there, but all the times I have driven through the state, it is all flat lands with 98% farms and small burbs. The Amish I think are cool though.

9. Iraq & Surrounding Countries. I do not think any country that the majority of its citizens despise and hate Americans to the point of near glee at killing them is a safe place for me. I have no desire to ever go to those places and deal with that kind of negative attitude.

8. Vancouver, Canada. Beautiful place but the scenery is spoiled and such reasoning shall remain my own.

7. Basco, WI. A small town or burb that has more bars then towns people. Maybe they all don't like each other so made their own pub to hang out at... who knows. But I do know the next small burb over has like three church's with eight houses, so maybe even though they are spread apart, somehow they are all working together. Go to Basco to get drunk, go to Paoli to get forgiven for being drunk.

6. Mission District of San Francisco. One of my friends grew up there and after hearing all the horrible stories about gangs and threats to anyone in the neighborhoods who were not of the right colour, I have decided I will never go there and live. Literally, someone would probably shoot me.

5. Any 3rd World Country that lacks toiletries and air conditioning. I love to travel and I would not mind visiting such places as above, but I would not choose to live there.

4. Places of extreme heat or cold. That being along the equator and near poles where it is so hot or cold that you can hardly breath and have to go indoors during daylight hours just to be safe. I know in some places it is so warm you have to take a noon nap indoors to recuperate from the heat.

3. Venezuela. I'm not going to go into any details but I think the news coverage explains a lot.

2. Washington DC. I do not feel safe with the idea of living in DC area. To many people out in the world are upset at our government and if there ever was a successful attack, I fear DC would be its primary focus. Add to that the fact that I think there are only 5% of honest politicians in DC who wouldn't try to take my first born for some sacrifice, well you get the picture.

1. The White House. It will probably take three different administrations to cleanse the White House of its Bush stench before people can go there and not get a disturbing smell of what used to be.

Your Inner Eye

Last night I was laying on my bed searching within myself to find that inner balance to which we all desire and seek. It was there within sight and reach, a beauty to behold and feel running through me. In that instant I had felt at total peace and connected with all the people I love. The soul is very powerful, containing strength you might doubt or not understand but which can be weilded with belief and faith through love.

Always remember that even during your saddest darkest moment, you can find the spark of love within that shall open up your soul into a beacon of everlasting light. Does that sound corny? Makes you feel like thinking "What freaking poppy seed are you sucking on?" I assure you what I said above is VITALLY true. Not just an assumption, but something of which I can deeply attest to understanding and knowing. If you have any doubt, then it is time to do some self discovery and find it within you for it can defeat even the darkest days and bring some joy to a time when all you feel is pain.

You think you are alone? I have been there and done it already. For once have a little faith in yourself and do some soul searching.

I Love You Simon

Yesterday my soul mate, boyfriend and companion died in a fall down the stairs. He was heading down in the morning when he suddenly got dizzy and fell breaking his neck. He was rushed to the hospital where he died at 1:24 pm.

I was planning to spend my life with him and I miss him very much. I can feel him with me still waiting for me, but I wish he were here for me to hold and touch.

UPDATE NEWS

Simon's ashes were half spread in a state park near where he grew up and the other half flown over Wisconsin and spread everywhere so he is always with me no matter where in the state I am. Thanks and love to my brother for doing that. <3

How can you find Superman? Good question. First off let me start by saying that everyone... let me repeat everyone has superman within them. You don't have to go looking far, you don't even have to like him, but he or she (for you supergirl people) is there waiting to be found and realized.

I know what you are thinking. You run around in a red cape and believe you can fly? No. That isn't what or who superman is. Let me introduce you quick.

Do this. Clear your mind and think about the people in your life you realy care about, the ones who you wish great success and happiness. Think about the things you want to do to help them and make them happy. Can you feel the deep warm loving feeling that is flowing through you now? Say hello to Superman.

Superman is the embodiment of all we love and cherish, that which we wish the best for and strive to help achieve it regardless who it is for, our selves or others. When we desire the best for others and help them become it, we ourselves stop being the Clark Kents and reveal the S logo we have hidden away.

If you ever feel defeated, alone or lost; just think about those people you want to help and you'll find purpose once again, something to help you along some more.

If we all had a bit of Superman within us, the world would be a very good place.

The other day my nephew with the help of his german shepherd had made it from his bed to the computer, sneaking online when he was supposed to be in bed sleeping. We talked for a little bit and I suggested he should wake up his brother and then walk down the hall to his parents room using his dog for support and if he begins to fall his brother can hold him up until he has his balance again.

It took him nearly fourty five mintues to go from his bedroom, down the hall and to his parents room but he made it! See nearly two years ago his back was injured really bad and the doctors said he would never be able to walk again. Then about four months ago he was walking using his walker, close to getting back to running as he wants to do again. Then a neighbor kid who isn't so nice to him wrestled him out of his wheelchair onto the ground and broke his back completely in two.

The doctors said that now it is positive that he would never walk again because of the severed nerves and all the damage to his spine. But here he is walking again! He says it hurts and it is slow, but he is doing it. I am proud of him for not giving up. He will run again for sure.

Some Changes

As you can see I am no longer an MN@. This last week prior seems to have gone by in a daze as if moments are there and then other times it just blurs together. Please don't ask as it is not any of your business why.

The week before that week I had been busy with business and travel trying to get more for my business accomplished. Last week one of my nephews almost died with a blood clot while at nearly the same time my mother went into the hospital. Have you ever had that feeling that you are kind of lost and everything is just out of reach? That is what the prior week and last few days felt like to me.

I was even crabby at my sister one day and hurt her feelings though I instantly regretted it. I didn't like how I made her sad and even now I still feel horrible about it. I will have to make it up to her soon.

I hope everyone had a great Valentines. My Valentines was pretty decent since it was also one of my Nephews birthday. He had a surprise birthday that night and during the whole day everyone pretended to forget it and were talking about going to a valentines party some neighbors were having. It turned out to be his surprise birthday party, the first he has ever had. But until the party, he was sad that everyone had forgotten. It took all my will power to not tell him about the surprise and I am glad I didn't since I remember my own surprise party when I was young and how it made me feel.

How can you find Superman? Good question. First off let me start by saying that everyone... let me repeat everyone has superman within them. You don't have to go looking far, you don't even have to like him, but he or she (for you supergirl people) is there waiting to be found and realized.

I know what you are thinking. You run around in a red cape and believe you can fly? No. That isn't what or who superman is. Let me introduce you quick.

Do this. Clear your mind and think about the people in your life you realy care about, the ones who you wish great success and happiness. Think about the things you want to do to help them and make them happy. Can you feel the deep warm loving feeling that is flowing through you now? Say hello to Superman.

Superman is the embodiment of all we love and cherish, that which we wish the best for and strive to help achieve it regardless who it is for, our selves or others. When we desire the best for others and help them become it, we ourselves stop being the Clark Kents and reveal the S logo we have hidden away.

If you ever feel defeated, alone or lost; just think about those people you want to help and you'll find purpose once again, something to help you along some more.

If we all had a bit of Superman within us, the world would be a very good place.

Yesterday was interesting *since it is after 1 am my time* as I woke up only to discover that the party I thought was that night turns out to be on the 25th, not the 24th which I had miss marked. But it doesn't end there, it turns out my room mates had already planned a evening mini party here and we ended up baking cookies all evening while watching christmas movies and playing cards in the kitchen between cookie batches.

Today the party starts at 1 pm so I will be gone for most of the afternoon but I have high hopes of being home for the evening relaxing and maybe drinking some eggnog. I also talked to my friends Mike and Clark for a while, as well as my sister who had joined us for cookie fun.

To my family and friends, I wish you the best Holidays and lots of laughter. Let your happiest thoughts be your first thought and this holiday season will be a memorable one.

Fish Lady Strikes Again!

Az's News:
Nephew is home from the hospital. Yay! Although he still has an infection and needs to take it easy, he is very very very very very very very happy to be home. I think I will commemorate this moment into history by putting the footnote that the Fish Lady/Nurse is gone. I know I know, you are like "What do you mean?" but you will have to realize this is a inside joke between myself and a couple of other people.

In other news I went out with the parents last night and had fish *hahaha, fish lady.. fish Oh I am so bad* and of course they baught so it was nice. I had fried cod with hashbrowns cooked extra crispy. I don't know about everyeone else but I love crispy hashbrowns. I will eat them with just a touch of salt and pepper on them usually unless they are aweful then I add katchup. Would this be classified as a 'sort of' fish'n chips?

This weekends forcast looks uneventful which is just fine by me. On Monday have to take parents to hospital so mum can have a colonescapy [sp?] and make sure she doesn't have any lingering cancer.

Over all I think life is good and I am optimistic.

Two Topics: My Network & SB

Yes. This laptop I am using is having serious network issues and randomly disconnecting with "Gateway appears offline" or "Your DNS appears to be unable to resolve IP Addresses". Yeah I have done everything there from reseting my TCP/IP settings to uninstalling the network drivers and rinstalling them. I think I need to just have the windows reinstalled period, but then if I had a windows disk I wouldn't be stuck on this laptop. What a cruel vicous circle this is presenting itself as.

ShoutBox:
_{[Aside from the facts presented here, the following are personal views expressed only by myself and not by dA overall. If you have a disagreement with them, send me a note where I will read and then most likely delete it.]}

It strikes me that a lot of people are talking about the SB now when before a majority of people go 'What?' First off, let me say if you don't know what the SB is, just skip this part and move along. It honestly in my opinion is not worth the effort in discovering. BUT... if you really do want to know what it is, continue.

The SB was created in a time when dA's only choice for communication was either the Forums or the Note System. That was it. End of story. Then the ingenious idea of creating a refreshing window box that acted much like the Forums but was more interactive and unprecedented came along. Progress was made, the community came a little closer and time passed.

Then came along dAmn, a new revolutionary chat system that was fully interactive and live. No longer did you have to 'wait' for your messages to be answered and you could actively seek out other deviants right here and now. So now here we are, with a Forum, a SB and a Chat. First forever popular because people just love Forums. The Third each week becoming more popular every single day with over 100+ active chat rooms. And then there is SB in between with its small clique. Let me clear up a few misconceptions:

1. The SB has low priority however it is not unmoderated or without rules. The MN@ is and always has been since it's inception, the care takers of the SB yet our priorities are focused on dA Chat because that is where the significantly overwhelming demand is.

2. The SB back when it was new and novel, was the pinnacle of dA and thus was given an impressive spot on the main dA page to help promote its cutting edge format. Today with the percentage of SB users based on dA active user status being less then .05 %, it is definitely not at its pinnacle. Remembering point # 1 which I made, SB does have a minimal moderation by the MN@. Because of this, the few regulars have become accustomed to using it 'their' way and not dA's way, violating rules or policies as posted and linked in the SB.

Let me ask you, would you as a new user like to come to dA to our main page and see vulgarities and conversations about topics that are blatantly inappropriate and no parent would want their child to see? In my opinion it does not leave a good impression to new comers or a good reputation to existing deviants.

3. As I said in # 2, SB's day has come and gone. As with anything in society that gets old there comes a time to finally let it go and make room for something bigger and better. Well something bigger and better has come but sentimentality still holds its clutches on the SB.

Will it stay or go? I don't know. My personal feeling is to let it go and redirect its resource usage to something that needs it more. However I think if those people who do like it really do want to keep it, then they need to start acting appropriately while using it. SB belongs to dA, not the SB Whores as they call themselves, put forth a demonstration that you can be responsible and act appropriately there. Let your actions speak for you.

Hmm. That feels good. Now that I have said my personal thoughts which have nothing to do with dA's official stand on it *especially since it is not my decision* I can think about other things that are more worth while.

Do You Know Someone With A Stutter?

Someone who is very important to me but shall remain nameless has a stutter. He was told by more then three people that having a stutter was evil and that he would die if he talked with a stutter and go to hell. He is young and impressionable and refuses to talk. I am asking for support from other people who have a stutter or have friends who stutter to comment here that there is nothing wrong with having a stutter.

You wont die for talking with a stutter and it isn't evil or bad. There are many people in the world who have a stutter and it isn't anything to be ashamed about. God does not hate people with stutters.

Statistically, there are over 1 million American's who have a stutter. Predominately more males will have a stutter then females. Often people are confused about stuttering and think it is just sloppy talking. The truth is no one really knows for sure what causes it, though there are three common scientific concepts.

Here are the concepts:

1. Developmental
2. Neurogenic
3. Psychogenic

The most common form of stuttering is thought to be developmental, that is, it is occurring in children who are in the process of developing speech and language. This relaxed type of stuttering is felt to occur when a child's speech and language abilities are unable to meet his or her verbal demands. Stuttering happens when the child searches for the correct word. Developmental stuttering is usually outgrown.

Another common form of stuttering is neurogenic. Neurogenic disorders arise from signal problems between the brain and nerves or muscles. In neurogenic stuttering, the brain is unable to coordinate adequately the different components of the speech mechanism. Neurogenic stuttering may also occur following a stroke or other type of brain injury.

Other forms of stuttering are classified as psychogenic or originating in the mind or mental activity of the brain such as thought and reasoning. Whereas at one time the major cause of stuttering was thought to be psychogenic, this type of stuttering is now known to account for only a minority of the individuals who stutter. Although individuals who stutter may develop emotional problems such as fear of meeting new people or speaking on the telephone, these problems often result from stuttering rather than causing the stuttering. Psychogenic stuttering occasionally occurs in individuals who have some types of mental illness or individuals who have experienced severe mental stress or anguish.

Maybe you learned something new and the next time you talk to someone with a stutter, you wont be judgemental or condecending. People with stutters are as normal as those without.

Superman and Aquaman. Two of my favorite superhero's. I have to say this last episode of Smallville is one of my favorites. My second favorite which was mentioned briefly by Clark was the episode with Flash.

I also love how Arthur said they should form a "Junior Lifeguard Association" and Clark said something along the lines of "I don't think we should form the JLA quite yet." ROFL. For all of you who don't know... JLA is the Justice League of America of which both Superman and Aquaman are members of. I think Clarks Professor is a little to cynical but then I guess he has his part in helping form Clark into the Superman he becomes.

Now the big question is who is it that Clark loves that will die *as mentioned in last weeks episode* ? All signs point to Jonathen Kent since he dies in both the comics and the movies, and the TV Show is taking a lot from those two *did you notice the Fortress of Solitude was formed after the Movie version?* but they have also taken some original steps on their own that are original.

I myself don't want to see Jonathen die. Next logical choice is Cloe, who unless she becomes some hero herself because she's always around the meteor rocks, isn't a part of Superman's future. Or maybe they will bring back Pete and then kill him off just so none of the others don't die in next season.

=timmi-1 has tagged me. So now it seems I must name 20 random facts about myself. hmm.

1. Always have to wear sunglasses during the day even if it is cloudy. But on the flip side I can see well at night without light.

2. The old underwear question... I actually wear all three types depending on my mood. Briefs, Boxers and Boxer Briefs.

3. Yes I am gay, but I really don't like Barbara Strisand's music or movies. I just don't see what other gays see in her.

4. I want to get my passport stamped with as many countries as I can before I die.

5. I like to eat peanut butter and miracle whip sandwhiches. If I'm not in that mood then I like a good toasted peanut butter with banana sandwhich so it is crispy bread and oozing peanut butter.

6. I love to go to Chicago to have fun. I don't see traveling for 3 hours as a inconviencence or out of the way. Heck I have traveled 3 hours to another city just to have hotdogs that are native to that area only. mmmmm.

7. I like dogs more then cats but I don't dislike cats.. they just need to be clipped or declawed and neutered. I might go for a cat that has those new fancy plastic caps on their claws. But cute puppies just make me go "awww"

8. I have a fear of bee's though it isn't as much a phobia now as when I was a kid.. if I saw a bee as a kid I would freak. I'm not allergic to them, just that as a kid, every major vacation I have ever gone on, I got stung by a bee and it ruined the vacation.

9. I can't stand pickles on sandwhiches or other foods but I love them on the side.

10. I was born premature and was so tiny that I was in a bubble for a week or so and when I came out the hospital had to order special doll diapers because I was smaller then any manufactured. I wore doll clothes for the first year of my life. My dad could cover my whole hand with his thumb.

11. I think it is gross to pick your nose and then eat the booger, but I have no problem just snorting it backwards. XD Don't do that much anymore.

12. I can read a 400 page novel in six hours and have read every interesting book at my local library. I started reading adult level novels when I was in sixth grade because a teacher taunted me about reading books below my age group.. so I marched to the library with my card after school and checked out the first interesting adult level fiction novel I could find. I'll update with name and author later. But regardless.. it is not a book any 12 year old should ever read.

13. I once went to a baseball game in my underwear not realizing it and thought I was in shorts. None of my friends realized I was wearing underwear either until one of their brothers rode up and asked if I always go to the game in my underwear.

14. When I talk to people, I often end up mimicking their accents after a while. Back when I was a phone support technician, I was often asked if I was in such and such big city near the customer lol.

15. I like to collect knives and swords but I am very picky about what I collect and it has to be of good quality. Although my collection is small but I like it that way.

16. I have never been drunk in my whole life. But I like a good social drink now and then. I will drink either light beers, wine or a mixer.

17. I like to yo. I own about 8 yoyo's some plastic and some titanium. My fav's are the Mag's (titanium) and I love to do the dizzy baby trick.

18. I think all meals should end with banana cream pie or banana cheese cake. Speaking of cheese cake, I love the cheese cake from Cheese Cake Factory in Chicago in the base of the John Hancock Building. The inside of the resturant looks like a copper pie crust. Very awesome.

19. I usually sleep in my birthday suit unless I have company over or am traveling then I just wear my boxers. I can't stand pajama's.

COMPUTER DIED! *UPDATED*

Ala Azildin:
This morning my HD was working fine, then about four hours when I tried to boot up, it acted like there was nothing in my case. After a few hours of trying to get it to work, I have concluded that my primary HD is toast and everything on it most likely lost. Since I can't afford a new HD, I do not know when I will be back reliably.

UPDATE:

It turns out not to be a HD issue so much as my motherboard decided to retire without giving me notice. I've verified my HD works using another friends system while he was out.

This isn't a big problem, as I have a backup motherboard, processor chipset waiting for the day when I get the DDR RAM needed to run it. My old system used SDRAM so I can't use it. Don't tell anyone but I 'borrowed' a 512 ram chip from a roomie. I hope he doesn't notice. *cough* God, I am gonna miss the 4 gig's of ram.

Latest Problem. Everything in their respective parts work. Now, the computer keeps rebooting when it starts to load the windows. I suspect it might be a BIOS issue but I am not sure. Time will tell.

UPDATE PART 2:
I need to find my windows disk, get a new hd since I don't want to reformat my old one (windows drivers for the old processor are different from the new processor) and buy new ram so I can give back the 'borrowed' chip.

This is just so horrible.

Personal Life:
My mum is back in the hospital. She was having problems and called her doctor who then told her to check into the emergency room at the hospital. My sister and I took my parents there and she is being kept for the night, but I don't know if it is just one night or longer. We will see. Please don't expect to see me on much in the next week until things settle down.

"We Will Live Forever" Yes, I said it. I have always known that my mother will die someday and will pass on yet the thought though sad, does not torment me as it did when my grandmother died when I was a little boy. I have found my spirituality that I need and know that she is forever with me now and in the future when I pass on to the after life. Our souls can never die and so I feel blessed that I have a chance to experience this life before passing to the next. I am not afraid of death, I just have a healthy respect for life and a desire to go on as long as I can no matter how hard the struggle.

It is ironic though since I was at the hospital all day that I would be thinking about my boyfriend and wishing he was there to be with me. One would think that it is the person who was there that would be on your thoughts but it wasn't.

About life, sometimes we do want to give up and stop pushing when it seems everything is at it's worse and no improvements are in sight. Seeing my mother this last year as she begins her death cycle as I call it has given me another refreshed outlook in my own desires to live and not just fade away.

Another friend also gave me a burning desire, not so much just life, but to make a point of helping people and I want to thank him. =Nakai-Miles is the best nephew a guy could ever have who has gone through more then any kid or adult should.

My point? Even though we don't see a reason to keep going, there always is one if we just look within our hearts and find it. It could be anything from things in life you want to experience to just caring about certain people and not wanting to leave them alone. There are so many reasons that it would be inpossible to list them and for each person that reason is different. Look in your heart and find that reason and you'll find a level of happiness and content that you have not felt before in a very long time.

Digital Male Sketch - WIP

Started work on my newest digital male drawing. I decided since I have gotten a lot of requests on how I did the Digital Male Nude Sketch 2 that I would do a posting step by step of my work as I progress to completion.

I'm not so much explaining how I am doing it as just letting you see how I get it together from creation to completion. I hope you enjoy the process. The WIP (work in progress) images are in my Scaps folder. For convienance I will also post thumbs here until they get to the point where I have to enable the mature content.

More will be uploaded as I work on it, though I have no set time of when that will be, but I do expect this project to take me a week or two. Thanks for your time.

Lucky Day and What Not

Friday the 13th. It brings fear and uncomfort to most, but for me it is special as 13 is my lucky number and anyone who believes it is unlucky is just simply put, wrong.

Today I have been meditating a lot, getting back in touch with my feelings. I know what your thinknig.. yes.. all of you and maybe 12% are right. lol.

I have a gift that I rarely tell people about and I wont go into details here but today hapenstances caused me to reconnect deeply with it. I am feeling extremely jovial and relaxed. Today really is a good day.

I have removed the Riffraff for a while from my journal. I am restructuring it as I have many friends and it is blatently rude to showcase some and not others. Therefore in the future I will repost them to be more inclusive.
