Working hard stinks but working hard and late stinks even more. I am actually looking at another position at the same hospital that will be a Lateral move but will give me a higher status with better work conditions (hopefully).

Sorry the art has been coming out slower than usual, but after the Summer is over then I will probably have more time to get stuff done.

Thanks for all the views, whether intentional or by accident, last month was a record breaking month for me with over 300 views.

Just wanted to let all of you know I have been working on several pieces lately and will be posting again soon. This weekend is going to be busy but maybe next Monday will merit some time to show you what I have been working on.

I've been working on poses and some of it (definitley not all) is turning out decent. One thing I love to see on DA is the progression of a person's talent increasing and hopefully you all see some of that on my page.

I wanted to take some time to address an issue with some of the comments being posted on my page. First of all let me say that I appreciate your interest in my work and constructive critque, however I do not appreciate filthy language in those comments. Up until recently I have not had this problem so I never said anything about it.

Yesterday a guy posted a comment containg the "F" word. I sent back a friendly reply thanking him for the compliment but asked if he, in the furture not use that particular word in comments made on my page.

I know we all, myself included, slip up and cuss in casual conversation but when you are typing you have to think about what you say before you type, so I don't see why it would be hard to filter your comments before you post them.

Please honor my request as I have young nieces and nephew that read my page and comments, and I would like to keep my page family friendly.

As always I hope all is well with you and hope you will continue to show an interest in my pics.

I have been sick for a week with a sinus infection and am still unable to get a good nights sleep so here I am up again at 4:30 am with nothing to do but hack and coff.

In addition to the other crazy stuff going on at work, my wife and dog were attacked by Bull Dogs while they went for a walk around the neighborhood. Thankfully my wife is fine and the dog only suffered minor abbrasions. I had a nice little chat with the owner and basically told him in the niciest way possible how irresponisble it was for him to not have his dogs behind his fence and running loose, and also reassured him i would chop his balls off if something like this happens again. I think he got the message, but I still had to pay $100 for my dog to get stiched up. Pretty expensive mistake on his part.

Other than that I just wanted to say that I sincerely appreciate all the wonderful comments, and recent friendships developed.

Oh well, thankfully I have people in my life that give me encouragement and support whenever times are stressful. If you don't have one of those people in your life find one, they make life so much better.

I wanted to take a second and Thank God for my wife who not only is an inspiration, but is the best friend a guy like me could have. Not to mention she is a good kisser.

We are pretty busy at the Hospital right now since its budget time again. But here is what I am currently working on.

One of those moments happened with my recent deviation Mysteria. I worked really hard on it and was about to scrap it b/c I just couldn't get it to look the way I imagined it in my mind. It was only when I really did not care anymore and was relaxed that I pulled off a pic that makes me go "WOW, I did that?"

For those of you that are having a hard time getting a pic to look right, JUST RELAX, you might be surprised by what you can come up with.

Sorry for not placing a whole lot of new stuff on recently, I have been working really hard on coloring several pics at the same time and am not making very much head way (like trying to dip the ocean dry with a spoon).

I woke up this morning to snow flakes falling and thought this doesn't look right. But much to my surprise it was snowing. Now for those of you that do not know it only snows in Texas once every 10 to 15 years and it is so funny when it does.

We get an inch of snow and schools start shutting down, drivers on highways (where the speed limit is 60-70 mph) are driving at speeds of 20-30 mph. Even when there is no ice on the road. The news casters are talking like it is the end of the world as we know it (sounds like a song) and the elderly are being told to take shelter, horde gas and steal food for what will probably be an accumulation of 6 inchs of snow.

Yet people up north are like playing golf out in the snow.

Just thought I would share that.

Well I have had an off week last week. Was in Portland, OR for training, and between training, having to run from a guy that was trying to sell me stolen shoes and nearly getting into a fight with pot head, I haven't had much time to load anything.

I did draw quite a bit on the 14 hr plane trips so I will be posting some newer stuff fairly soon.

I also have some colaberations from other artists that I am coloring so stay tuned for that also.

So this week I will be working on the Elf in the Snow pic to donate to the silent auction and guess what I need your help. So far I have an idea for the landscape, and have already colored the eyes a light blue and hair a bright brown but I am having trouble with the clothing colors. Since I only have till the end of this week I don't have time to meticulusly plan as I normally do. So if you have any suggestions out what colors might look cool for a mountain scene, please post a coment on my pick.

I just finished my first colored piece since about 6 months ago.. you folks inspire me! Check out the before and after colorations of the Wonder Woman Charge pic and let me know what I can improve on. The next pic I am going to color actually comes from Crying Chimera, her Archer of the Wolf pic is cool looking and i only hope I don't mess it up but we will see what I crank out.
