Day 0:
- After art class and I went straight to 's place, where was already.
- Once we got to LA we checked in at the hotels and caught up with the rest of eeCafe+ (, , , , , )
-Got our badges in from the con, in the blazing sun...
-Settle down

Day 1:
-Checked in for Artist Alley, in the blazing sun... again...
-Got new badges that said "Exhibitors" rather than "Attendees", I feel special.
-Set up the table with , and realized I forgot my C-clamps for the display.
-Run back to the hotel room, get it, and run back. Not fun.
-Exhibit hall opens and customers start coming in. Excitement.
-Exhibit hall closes and head to dinner at this restaurant that used to be a firehouse (Engine 23 I think?)
-I think the food I ordered had a bit of alcohol in the sauce... Got just slightly tipsy <----- (huge lightweight)
-Get back to hotels and sleep.

Day 2:
-Head to artist alley, today dressed up as TYL Yamamoto from Reborn (or dressed up like I'm going to prom, same thing.)
-Worked at artist alley a bit. Decided to open up commissions (first time I ever tried commissions)
-Head to the Reborn gathering with :nil00: and . They were Hibari and Mukuro.
-Pictures were taken, we look so cool lol.
-Back to artist alley and worked again.
-Closed up and head to dinner at Mccormicks (I don't know if that's spelled right). We went there last year and it was still good.
-Back to Hotels and slept

Day 3:
-Today cosplaying as Kaito from Vocaloid with all of our cosplay friends
-Same deal as yesterday in Artist Alley
-Head to the Vocaloid gathering and a lot of people were taking pictures of us, new experience for me haha.
-Did our Vocaloid Dance of Chocolate Disco by Perfume. I only learned half of the dance 30 minutes before we went to the gathering =A=.
-Head back to Artist Alley and got pictures taken some more by customers haha.
-'s family brought sandwiches which were delicious.
-Caught up with a lot of friends from highschool that I haven't talked to in over a year.
-Back to Hotels and sleep.

Day 4:
-Artist alley stuff again. Cosplayed as Kaito still but this time in a suit cause the costume was slightly annoying to sit down in.
-Last minute commissions
-Artist alley closes and everyone is somewhat in disbelief.
-Head to hotels and changed.
-Went to Little Tokyo and hung out with everyone or the last night. Lots of fun
-Head back to the hotels and hung out some more until 2:00 AM
-Bed and sleep

Day 5: (heading out)

-Went to Macau first since we have an apartment there
- came over and we hung out and had a good time.
-Been going back and forth from hotels and Zhuhai.
-Took a plane to Chongqing and going to stay here for 3 nights
-Going to head back to Macao after
-Leaving for Taipei on the 3rd (Looking forward to this)
-Back in the States on the 10th

It's been a lot of fun so far, and I gotta say that Chongqing is seriously gorgeous. Went to visit my grandparent's grave which was a sad but necessary thing to do. On the plus side though, the cemetery is pretty as well.

Overall the whole trip has been pretty breathtaking. Probably the only downside for me is that my parents love to eat spicy food. I can eat some but no where near the level of my dad who grew up with it. I'm pretty much dieing there while he's saying it's like heaven. Still good though, all the sweets are nice.

Internet has been absent for most of my trip. I've been using the wifi at airports whenever we go somewhere and occassionally the ones at the lobby of our apartment. Still missing home a bit and can't wait to get back

Haven't been drawing all that much unfortunately, it's going to get really busy when I get back with all the projects I need to get done as well as school that's starting up again.

Actually, I still can't rest quite yet since I got to started packing for my Macau/Taiwan trip. Unfortunately, I'm not going to bring my laptop since:

1) I'm probably not going to have any internet access there anyways.
2) I'm gonna try to catch up on drawing (Don't count on this one XD)

Should be pretty good still. Oh yeah and since I'm 18 now I can gamble at Macau now HAHAHA! That is... If I was at all interested in gambling. I played poker for a bit and got decent but to be honest it's not that fun. Probably just gonna hang out at the casinos and look around cause watching people is always fun (and creepy).



That's all I have to say about that. Time for a list of my thoughts.

- I want to go to Disneyland again.
- Hopefully my trip to Asia is going to be more that just "Business"
- I wish I can understand Chinese as well as I can speak it. (You can understand me but I have no clue what the heck your saying.)
- I want to get a flashcart for my DS in Asia.
- I'm excited for AX 2009, hopefully I can get a table
- Crap I need to make more prints
- I want to hack my iphone but I don't want to lose my warranty.
- I'm gonna try to be more active online.
- I'm hungry...
- I need to post more on dA.
- Stupid quest to get better at drawing. It's taking too long.

I like to put things off last minute even though I know fully well that I'm never going to be able to make it in time. I calculate the time to drive to school and walk to class and wait for the exact time to leave. Therefore if it takes 20 minutes to get to class I will leave 20 minutes before class starts. I guess that's better than most people, but the reluctancy doesn't change and the stress level rises. The worst one is putting off school work. I have very bad study habits and have a tough time committing myself to sitting down and reading/work. I keep telling myself to change but I keep choosing get distracted, for a good 12 years.

The answer is pretty obvious to me, but really I'm having a tough time applying it. CREATE A SCHEDULE AND FOLLOW IT.

So I'm throwing it out there to anyone who wants to respond to it.What do you guys think? How do you guys struggle to succeed in whatever school you got right now.

ANYWAYS! Happy New Year to everyone who is willing to read this entry. It's been a busy year for me with things other than dA *gasp*. I'll try my best to start becoming more active for the new year but I'm not making promises. Namely since my scanner is still broken and my tablet is no longer in it's best conditions. I'll see what I can do about it...

I noticed that there's a lot of people who like to color my linearts. I have seen a lot and I'll say that don't hate me if I don't respond all of you. I am only one person afterall... and there's a lot colored linearts out there. (I don't get why though since I don't think my stuff is that good anyways =___=;

When Ben and Brigitte got there we headed to yogurtland. People have talked about this place a lot and that it was really good. My opinion, it was alright. I liked the yogurt but not really a place I would choose to go every week. So after that we went to Tapioca Express get some tea and spicy chicken (I was hungry). Soon headed back to actually start the sketchfest.

Course rarely does any work actually get done. Everybody poked fun at Joanna, reminisce on anime expo, Brigitte talks about her lack of sleep at AX because of Joanna's sleeping habits (that or the pranks pulled by Ben, Eggy, ang their friends), Ben attempts grading his student's papers, I'm trying to fix the anatomy of a picture I'm drawing. Basically it, hilarious times it was.

Finally! The moment I want to talk about, all four of us then went to see Ratatouille. GO WATCH IT!!! NOOOOOOW!!! This was actually my 2nd time watching and I still found it hilarious! Best movie out there right now in my opinion. Granted I haven't seen the rest, but I'm a sucker for fun family movies.

Right that was fun. Now that I'm done typing this darn thing, I'm off to draw.

Yeah, I'm getting pumped for the summer and AX!!! It's gonna be my third year since 04. (I skipped last year because I had to go on a crosscountry tour) I'll be there with and to help sell some of their prints.

No I'm not selling any prints myself because:
1) If you've noticed I haven't been the most productive of people.
2) I didn't bother registering for a table at Artist's Alley.
3) I don't think my works are quite up to par with the others to qualify as prints.

Still, even though I'm not selling it'll still be fun meeting some other who've doing this for a while. Hopefully I can get some Copics for myself to practice with. Well, then again I'm probably not gonna use them that much... but I still want them!

Now for the longest time I believed that music was the path that I was to lead. To compose and to perform. However, after taking a step in the art direction and taking a class, which will help me build up a portfolio, and re-realized the absolue enjoyment of creating art from a single line. I can get lost in creating visual more than I ever could creating art with sound.

It is such a vast world what art is. So many people with so many different ideas, so many different interests, and so many different styles. There is no limit on what you can draw and how you draw it.

Now I'm looking for what college to head to and what I'm planning to major in. I'm looking at becoming an illustration major, but I'm still keeping my options open.

I only wish I could show you guys the stuff I'm drawing in the art class but I keep my sketchbook (which is way too big for a scanner mind you) there and I my scanner is broken... so I can't scan the smaller sketches that I do on my own time.

But even so I will someday and I hope to enlarge my gallery here on deviantart with stuff other than anime figures just standing there.

As for my real journal entry... My mom recently bought a new t.v. and it's pretty nice. But what cool is that we hooked up the laptop to it so we use the t.v. as our monitor. Pretty darn sweet if you ask me. I'm actually typing this entry while looking at the t.x. screen.

I say this because I understand there are techniques that make it easier on certain mediums, but don't say I'm drawing the wrong way... there is no right way to draw. I mean when I'm drawing on a table and a piece a paper it's really what I'm drawing that counts, so if I'm comfortable holding my pencil like I'm writing then so be it.

When I draw on a large sketchboard and an easel then the way I hold my pencil is my own unique way. I mean I remember as a child reading a children's book who's art was done by an artist who was paralyzed the neck down. However, she was still able to draw and paint wonderful art by drawing with a paintbrush in between her teeth. I don't think she was drawing the "wrong way" because she wasn't using her hands, it was the only way given to her and yet she is still able to create art.

So for everyone who thinks there is only one way of drawing I say this to you "get a clue". I draw because I love to draw, so I don't need anyone telling me that "I'm doing it wrong"

's entry was great, but it seems like she's kind of dissapointed that she spent alot of time working on her comic and "barely won" when one of her friends outshined his opponent.

Now I won't lie and say that I wasn't dissapointed when she said this. I kinda took it as though it seemed that I didn't spend a lot time on my entry, but I know I did.

However, that's alright cause I understand what she means when two people work equally hard on a piece yet one attracts more attention than the other. It's happened to me many-a-times.

Anyways I already commented on her page to try to cheer her up so it's fine. But waltzinghippie, if you read this, know that I'm rooting for you in future matches.

ON THE OTHER HAND! In round 2 I got paired up with and her character Mohagonay. I will say this is the most awesome thing I have ever seen. Yes, my character is shown doing something "not suitable for children" and being mutilated in a very gorey, R-rated fashion, but who cares?! IT'S AWESOME!!! I will say that if I will be happy to lose to an opponent such as her.

Basically you create an original character (OC) and your character gets matched up with other people's OC.

Then draw out a scene however the way you want of your character beating up the other character. You win by judges determining who has the most creative and intense of beatings.

Some of you saw the character I'm going to use to fight with so it's gonna be fun. Oh and is competing as well so it's gonna be great.
