If only I knew how to reunites all this into a whole...

The results is very interesting. It means that the personal part (therapy or hobby) into art is very important and only this will lead you into the profesional target. There is no profesional target witout the personal part.

It's not very hard to guess that it's 3) for me. I wanted number 1) very hard and maybe one day I'll finally get it. It could be incompatible, life will tell me. But, the first real reason has always been number 3 for me.

This time, the challenge is to paint various backgrounds from all over the earth as fast as possible.

But I've heard part of the last debate with Obama/McCain lately and... even if I stll think Obama was the better choice, I'm not sure he is ready to help USA as much as some people believe. Words weren't very good... Now, let's see him in action!

I've just seen the last poll, they says: 50% for Obama and 43% for Mc Cain.
I haven't heard their speech, but I've red about their background and some newspapers articles.

It makes me laught to see how many French people are for Obama; I'm nearly sure that if we had to choose, we will end up with Mc Cain!

I'm really interested to see what will happend in USA this Tuesday...
Obama as the new president could be very interesting.

It's a meet up organized by the French forum Avatar Realms ant it will take place in Lyons, France.

I'll meet again ~les4elements (who was Sokka during the Japan Expo event), Eréné (she was Azula) and some others fans.

I'll bring with me the season 3 box that I received this week from USA. I didn't have the time to watch it until now, so this will be a great occasion!

I'll also meet one of my past friend there.

The 2000 place room was full and we could see a lot of cosplayers, and even some FireNation flags



Rolan Poindexter, Nickelodeon programm director thanked us for making Avatar the most viewed show during the whole finale week.



He talks about the new upcoming video game and reveal that it will allow to create our own characters and challenge other players online.
Then, a chibi versions of Mike and Bryan appear and make several jokes.
They show the season 3 final part 3 and 4 on the big screen and chibi Mike and Bryan appear again for some jokes.

The San Diego Comic Con was a very interesting event and meeting you all has been priceless!
You probably already know all about the SDCC since, thanks to ~Acastus who did a big job with the videos and summary. >>[link]
I video taped most of the panel but if everything is already available, I won't work on this. The fan meetings will be prioritary.

And my trip to USA wasn't all about the SDCC, it was also about discovering California. My boyfriend and I rented a car and we did the following path (green): >> [link]
We saw the biggest and the oldest trees in the worlds, some beautiful but very wild forests and their fauna, dry deserts, strange lakes, how a fire start, waterfalls and strange geologic formations.

...OK...So this show leaved me big surprises until the end. I had never thought I could one day feel close to Katara! It seems that this episode will join "Bitter Work" and "The beach" on the list of the episodes who touched me the most.

Except the fact that this episode is running too fast and could have been done in 2 parts, I find it very well written. The animation isn't always great (mostly the begining, Zuko and Azula) but not the worse I saw on Avatar either.

Emotions...I think they are really great. But they needed more time to evolve in a realistic way.

And for the most important: shipping () except Tokka, there are nearly everything else. Even SokkaxZuko XD

2) 9/10 for both
3) Interesting plot, mostly action, going fast but not too fast.
Also the character developpement was great here. Even if I have been spoiled before I saw the episodes, I have been surprised by how great it turns finally.
4) Excellent. First they don't know what to talk about, then the start with their girlfriends...exactly how two guys will start to talk. Then slowly, then begin to learn respect for each others, thanks to action.
5) Very powerful scenes with Suki. My favorite is the one with Sokka finding her in the jail. Then, we can see her training like Iroh in her cell. She was ready for action and she saved Sokka's plan very well ^^
6) The confrontation scene Mai/Zuko then the one with Mai/Azula. Wow. All I wanted to see coming from Mai since a long time. She could possibly be my new favorite character now.
7) I was expecting something like this since long for Mai, but didn't know exactely what will happen for Ty Lee. The fact that she changed her side at THAT moment was powerfull! I hope more character developpement for Mai/Ty lee, but I fear we won't see them until the end now...
8) I HATE Azula "flying rocket". I'm ok with exagerations, but this was really TOO MUCH.
9) We already know that the next episode will be around the south watertribe's past. I expect to see Katara's father talking about.
And possibly Zuko and Katara going away for a mission, but it's hard to tell if we will see this in the next episode or in the finale.
10) I'm very happy that I don't ship because now the plot can go in every directions for shipping...Maiko? Zutara? Kataang? Tokka? Sukka? Taang? None? ...all is open...
Please don't stop watching this amazing show if your bet will be the wrong one at the end...

STORYLINE

The gang heard about the "Boiling Rock" prison and they will try to free the prisoners. Azula suspects it and she will try to make them fall in a trap.

The roleplay will be played in two groups, eachone will play in two different chatrooms...until possible confrontations.

GOALS

Aang's gang goal:
_free as many prisoners as possible
_find Suki and all the ones left behind after Day of Black Sun
_be as fast as possible and leave before the Fire Nation reacts
_use each free prisoner to help the Gaang if needed
_find a way to get out safely with the prisoners
_be as quiet as possible

Azula's gang goal:
_set a trap
_catch gaang's members individually
_make them split up if they don't, to catch them easily
_use Suki, Katara's father and every other interesting prisoner to put pressure on the gang
_use any caught Aang's gang members as leverage
_be as quiet as possible

PLACES

Aang's gang: Western Air Temple
Azula's gang: Fire Nation Palace

You can move at any moment to the Boiling Rock's prison. But remember that when you're at the boiling rock, you can give away your plan to the other group by making mistakes.

I want to create a virtual travelling book containing all the drawings backuped and post it somewhere.

But, it's a work in common. I don't want you to feel theft and I, having all the glory.
Here are 3 options:


1) I post the virtual books in my DA account and you post your art in your accounts, and I link both your art in the comments and in the book.

2) I post the virtual books in a existing Club account with the list of the people who drew in. It means that I'll need the Club access to update the flash file and infos time to time.

I'm not exactly ready for the San Diego Comic Con event, but I'm doing all the reservations right now and it will be over this week. (I hope)
For info, this travel will be the biggest I have ever done!
I have never been out of my little Europe, so this is really new, and also, very frightening.

Nice -- > San Diego > 16 hours!

And...well...I'm claustrophibic, so I'll have to fix this problem too. I count on hypnosis to remove this from me and the challenge here is to make it disapear before July...

For people who wants to meet me, I'll be at San Diego 21-28 July then at Los Angeles 29-4 August.

We won the costume's prize at the cosplay contest in Paris, in the Kultiverse subcontest!!

A professional photographer did some beautiful pictures of our group when we were on stage.
Theses pictures are a lot better than anything we did ourselves...

The Japan expo will begin this week!

I'm in charge for the Avatar cosplay group. We are 5 Avatar cosplayers subscribed to the contest.

The contest will take place on July, 5 from 3 to 5 pm. We will challenge 29 others cosplayers in the "Kultiverse" contest!

~les4elements is in charge for the French Avatar meeting who will take place on July, 6, from 10 am to 2 pm. We are expecting more than 30 people for this fan meeting!

Also, if you are a huge Pokemon fan, don't miss Darkai who will be available for the first time in France!

You can find a embedded video that I did about our Avatar event. It's nearly only music and pictures/photo, so I think it's a universal language.
There is also a link to the cosplay show filmed by dark666. The sound was very bad on that video, so I worked at making it better.

..and really the better one !

16 registred players for our tournament (the maximum!) and 14 were around when we began the tournament at 4pm.

Real fan around! Mostly coming from ~les4elements forum.
One explained the card game to another one, others were watching the episodes and "talking" together. (it was hard to talk a lot because of the general noise level)
Kids were coloring the pictures, people of all age rank were discovering the game and having fun.



~anya1916, chloé and I were disguised in our cosplay's costume during nearly all the morning. We had a lot of success! Every people who saw us asked for a picture even if they didn't know the show ^^

OUR COSPLAYER GROUP (chloé + Anya) WON THE 3RTH PLACE OF THE COSPLAY TOURNAMENT!!!
I'm very proud of them! But when they worked the choreography together this morning, it was really good!

My BIG regret: I couldn't take a movie during the cosplay event, because there were two many people who ran at the cosplay event and even with 300 free sits, it wasn't enough... The room was already full when I came

To be honest, I have been very disapointed by Day 2.

It began very stressfull. We were without the THQ parcel containing the most important prizes. Fortunately, the postman deliver it to my boyfriend in the morning, then my boyfriend ran directly to the Festival and gave it to us one hour before the tournament...
Then, we had only 3 players at 2pm so we delay the tournament. At 4 pm, we had only 7 players and 2 players disapeared in the middle of the tournament...
...Some stupid teenagers laughed at the Avatar episodes. (French dub isn't really good) Nearly no "real" fan around.
Then I began to feel bad so I ran away for a moment. (If one of my staff read this, I apologize because I know well that you wanted to help but it's just impossible if you don't know how.)

And even Momo didn't feel very well... It seems that Coca Cola have some strange effects on him... Or maybe he mixed it with Cactus Juice...

So, I saw the stand and began to organize it.
It's at that moment that you realize that your big banner is in fact tiny on a big 6 meter long white wall

I was there with my S-video cable serching a way to make it work when 2 guys from the Fan Festival staff arrived: "a girl in danger, we must help", lol
So they did all the video connexions for me. Nice

Then I discover the stand at our side.
"No! Not YOU AGAIN!!!!"
I know them well, I was at their side 2 years ago. They show a dancing game that makes a lot OF NOISE!!!!
At least the wall is big in our side, but even with this we will have big headache at the end of the day... :/
