So, the movie starts off with narration which I couldn't care less about and don't even remember. Then afterwards it goes to the fairies turning the season from Summer to Fall( [link] ), which looked fairly cool, to be honest. Whichever studio they used up'd the graphics a bit from the first one (which means they took the old models and gave them steroids) and the sparklies look sparklier. After one of the only cool parts of the movie, we cut to the dust fairy people. Remember that guy who was in the movie for like, 10 seconds, and then at the end, Tinkerbell magically knows his name out of nowhere? Apparently he's Tinkerbell's best friend or something now. Apparently lots of stuff happened During spring and summer. Whee.

Anyways, he goes and finds Tink, whose workin on this boat thing. She's laying on the ground under it messing with some stuff when he pops up, and she rolls out, which, if you remember my motives for watching the first one being "the things that kept me watching it, was the music, and the hope that Tinkerbell would be throwing her panties around like in the Peter Pan movie, but nah.", both got fulfilled this time! As she rolls out and leans up, her skirt-so-shirt-it-barely-covers-anything-ever-leaf-dress-thing does what it should! [link] Silly Di$ney. Green panties still show against a green dress if they're in the shadows and the dress isn't.

Anyways, on from the best part of the movie... They test the boat, which turns out to be an immense failure, Tinkerbell gets all angry ( [link] ) about it. After some fuss, this messenger fairy comes and says that Queen Slut McLameSauce wants to talk to Tinkerbell, who assumes its something about something involving stinkbugs that she did sometime back(i assume she hit them or something). She goes, and apparently for the Fall->Winter transition, theres a tradition, where one of the fairies, every 8 years, makes a scepter that holds a Moonstone that refracts light in such a way that it turns into Blue Pixie Dust, which apparently keeps the Pixie Dust Tree alive and well. This time, guess who gets picked? Tinkerbell. So the Minister of Fall ( [link] ) (voiced by John DiMaggio, voice of Futurama's Bender and Kim Possible's Dr. Drakken[though I prefer not to think of him playing that guy, cause I keep getting reminded of that hentai flash Zone did{especially the voice clip he used of Drakken Going "KIM POSSIBLE..!!" in such a way that it sounded naughty given the situation}])

So Bender takes Tinkerbell to see the rest of the Scepters, which are held in The Hall of Scepters (I love the creative names this series has. Tinker fairies named Tinkerbell, guy in charge of fall named Minister of Fall, hall with scepters named Hall of Scepters) and he goes off talking about the various scepters made over the years ( [link] ) and how its apparently the Tinker's turn to make one, so who better to choose than the person who almost completely ruined Spring? Apparently Fairy Mary(Again, inventive names) somehow convinced Bender and Queen Slut McLameSauce to have Tinkerbell do it(fucking mind control!) Eventually, we get to see this damn moonstone ( [link] ) which, odd, it looks like the moon. Imagine that. After some Ooing and Ahhing, we get told by Fairy Mary that its "ridiculously fragile"(Start the predictability now).

So Tinkerbell does the responsible thing to do when given something fragile and flies off at the speed of sound yelling YIPEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Cause everyone else would when given something Ridiculously Fragile

So back at her house.. Fairydust Boy walks in (doesn't even knock, the creepy stalker!) and looks around for TInkerbell, and a screw lands on his head. She's rummaging around a chest for stuff.

Music.

Music is a great thing, it can be beautiful, and it can be ugly. It gets millions of people through the day and acts for a pick-me-up and as inspiration for millions more. Music is one of the most important things in my life, I take it more seriously than is probably healthy for me. It's why I am no fan, what-so-ever, of Weird Al Yankovic. He takes a song, and he mocks it. I can't stand it when people mock music, unless its a song that I despise. For example, Al's parody of Riding Dirty, I love. Because I hate Chamillionaire and I hate that song. Therefor, when he mocked it, I loved it. The song wasn't of quality to me, it was about how the police were riding up on his ass about some drug bullshit. I don't give a damn about that. However, his parody of Gangster's Paradise; I despise his parody. The original was a very very very serious song about living in a shit part of town where all the drug trafficing happens, shootings, etc; living in a Gangster's Paradise. It's a song that I respect immensely. That's why I can't stand to see it parodied, it feels to me like taking a giant shit on the original when you take something serious and turn it into something humorous. Neither does it help that his voice annoys the shit out of me.

Another thing that pisses me off involving music, is the fact that people put the songwriter or the meaning of the song above the sound itself, above the music, above the majority of the writing done for the song. Sure, Demon Hunter might be a Christian Metal Band, but who gives a shit? The songs can be interpreted as something that's not religious. Unless the songwriter comes out and says specifically that This Song has This Meaning; the meaning is entirely up to You. You can chose whether to see it as a religious song, or you can chose to see it as an unreligious song. Don't attack the songwriter because you interpreted the song as something you don't like. Blame yourself.

Same thing with Flyleaf; Sure, Lacey Mosley might be a born-again christian, and hell, that might even influence the lyrics she writes for the songs, but that doesn't mean that you Have to interpret the song as a religious song. All of the Flyleaf songs I've heard(only a few, sadly) weren't solidly about Jesus or God or Christianity in general, they just felt like a normal song. Sure, I've met some people that don't like Flyleaf because of Mosley's voice, and that's perfectly understandable. The sound comes first; you could put all your heart, blood, sweat, and tears into making a song with this beautiful set of lyrics, excellent flowing words that pour themselves out of the speaker and into the soul of every listener, but if the music sounds like shit, nobody's going to want to listen to it, because they can't stand the sound of it.

And, I am immensely sorry for bringing him up, but I have wanted to say this for Months. The fact that Michael Jackson might have molested multiple children does NOT change his music. Thousands upon thousands of people stopped listening to Michael Jackson because of the trials. That's BULLSHIT. The life of an artist should never be associated with the music of an artist, unless the artist incorporates it into it. The fact that he might have molested children doesn't mean that Thriller is all of a sudden an evil evil song about child molestation. and for Fuck's Sake people; stop changing the fucking channel or radio station when a Michael Jackson song comes on because you think they're honoring the person, and not the music. THEY'RE A FUCKING MUSIC STATION, FOR GOD'S SAKE. MUSIC. SONGS. The MUSIC station is obviously honouring the MUSIC. That's why its a MUSIC station. There's been multiple times when I was watching VH1 or Fuse or listening to the radio and a Michael Jackson song comes up, and someone changes the fucking channel, especially when I wanted to listen to the damn song, because his MUSIC was great in my mind. For fuck's sake, people, the fact that he might have molested children doesn't really matter anymore. If he did, he died, he got what i deserved, let's move on. If he didn't, oh well, he died. That sucks, let's move on. I am quite able to, and so the rest of the goddamn world should be, too. Take the Time magazine off the shelves, he's dead. He had good music, but he hadn't released anything since 2001. Nothing new since then.

Have Goku away on some distant place, or dead, or something, so he can't kill them immediately

STEP THREE:
Have Bad Guy beat the shit out of everyone, killing five, leaving three. Vegeta and Gohan will probably live.

STEP FOUR:
Goku comes back from distant place, planet, dimension, training, or gets ressurected

STEP FIVE:
Goku beats the shit out of Bad Guy in a long drawn out battle, where both seem to almost die fifteen times, new form of Super Saiyan is most likely found. In the end, Goku kills bad guy.

TERMS TO KNOW:

Shirow Masamune - Appleseed's Creator and the predominant figure of the Cyberpunk scene in anime and manga(his works include Appleseed, Ghost in the Shell, Dominion Tank Police, and others)

Deus Ex Machina - latin for "God from the Machine", Plot device where the impossible or nearly impossible happens to continue a plot or save the story


Soo... Watched Appleseed. Just got done watching it.
Wuv'd it. You could so totally tell it was a Shirow Masamune creation(i haven't read the manga[or any of his manga at that]), given his immense use of cyberpunk, androids, robots, mech-suits, VTOL planes, and helicopters with giant guns. The one thing that confused me was why did Briareos have clothes? He's a god damn robot cyborg thing-guy-person. I kept poking fun at it saying that it was because he had a mechapenis. Even Shirow's art of him supports that, i mean, look at his epic robospeedo [link]

Epic.


The story had its twists, and the twists had twists, I knew there was an asshole, and I knew it was that asshole, but it turned out that that asshole wasn't the biggest asshole of all the assholes, especially the asshole that ended up being a douched asshole(Enema?) The music was sorta ehhh, though the last scene's song was epic as shit. Wuv'd that. At first I thought I was gonna have a problem with that god damn 3d-but-looks-2d cell-shaded shit that I generally despise, but by about half-way through the movie I got used to it. The envirement and background stuff was very well done, and I liked the story. Funny thing was that before watching it, I was reading the wiki on Deus Ex Machina(the second movie is called Appleseed ex Machina), since I never really knew what Deus Ex Machina really is/was. XD And then at the end of the movie, Shirow pulled a Deus Ex Machina(also see: [link] ). Made me laugh.

Not much to say here, it was a good movie. I've heard people say the concept was unoriginal, but they probably don't know its an adaptation of a manga from 1985 XD

The concept has been used before a bunch, but I really liked the movie, and the story, and the characters. Just the music bugged me. and Briareos and his.. clothes.

BREAKDOWN OF PAIN:

Look - 7.5/10 (It looked good, but it takes some getting used to)
Music - 6.5/10 (THe music didn't play a big role in the film, and most of it was good, but weird.)
Plot - 8.7/10 (The over-all concept of the world setting was used a bunch, but the story itself and how it developed was very well put together. Kudos to Shirow)
Characters - 7.8/10 (Knute was once again Shirow's Heroine with a Single Face, strong police/military female lead fighting outside forces and polital onoez that he uses in everything, and the names were a bit stereotypical[Hades, Uranus{though he was cool. voiced by Michael McConnohie in the dub(he voiced Rinaldo in Castlevania: Lament of Innocence} and others.] but the over-all characters were well done, even if I wanted to tell them to shut up every once in a while[which is a good thing, means they had a real aspect to them, since I generally tell real people to shut up every once in a while])

OVERALL:
7.6/10 (It was a very good film. It gets an applause! )

I'm not quite sure if I was more bored After watching it or Before watching it, but it gave me something to do. Since its a Di$ney movie, I won't bother hiding the plot, since its practically non-existent.

Basically, this movie is supposed to be in the same vein as X-Men: Origins, as they tell the origins of Tinkerbell and all the happy horseshit that happened before Peter Pan(I haven't read the book, so I dunno if they go over this, so nyaa!). Fairies are apparently born from the laughter of babies... somehow... and the laughter gets carried(On a Dandelion, apparently) to Fairyland(shit if I can remember any names in here besides Tinkerbell). Then Fairy Queen Slut McLameSauce makes the laughter into a fairy, and the fairy is presented with like... a handful of things. Each one of these things is kinda like a Fairy Destiny, showing them what they need to do as a fairy (Kinda like the sorting hat in Mr. Potter), and oddly enough, Tinkerbell turns out to be a Tinker Fairy! WHAT A SHOCK(though you didn't actually know it was Tinkerbell until after this, when the fairy queen is all like "I DUB THEE TINKERBELL, BECAUSE IM LAZY WITH NAMES.")

So life goes on, everyone gets all happy and shit, and weeeee timewarp through boring movie stuff to Tinkerbell getting to the Tinker part of Fairyland, where she goes Ooo and Ahh and all that crap, gets shown to her house(Born not only 5 minutes ago, and she already gots a house... I'm jealous.) Booble(yes, his name is booble) tells Tinkerbell that the clothes in the closet might be a bit too big, which they are. Horribly big. So big, in fact, that we almost see Tinkerbell's ass in one of the angles [link] (Best part of the movie!) Only almost. FANSERVICE FAIL.

Moving on, she eventually finds a pair of scissors, and cuts it up into the iconic dress that we all know and love(not really, but it makes it sound better for the Di$ney fans). She flies down to Booble and his big dumb friend(whatever-his-name-was), and they Ooo and Ahh at her beauty(which means her tits and the fact that her panties[if she even has any on] are only hidden by one flap of the dress)

SKIPPING BORING PARTS...


She eventually finds out that the Fairy's go over to the "Mainland" to change the seasons. Kinda cool, I guess. Having found some junk thats washed up on the shore of Fairland thats from the Mainland, she's kinda itching to see what the shit its like over there. So she goes through a bit thinking she's gonna be going to the mainland, and then it gets broken to her that Tinker Fairies don't go to the mainland because ITS THEIR JOB TO BE THE KITCHEN BITCH.

Then Tinkerbell goes through this phase of being all down and depressed ( [link] [I lied, this was the best part of the movie]) and goes all Siighh and Booohoooo Wah Wah wwah /wrist; and then gets BRILLIANT IDEA!

Instead of being all down about her not being able to go to the mainland because she's a kitchenbitch, she decides shes gonna try and go against her pre-determined destiny and be a different kind of fairy! Here we have a tsunami of failure as she tries to be a water fairy, plant fairy, animal fairy, and light fairy and FAIL in doing so. Though, while trying to be a light fairy, she gets light stuck on her ass [link] which gives the fireflies she was supposed to give it to the biggest grin I've ever seen on a perverted insect [link] and they then get right to chasing her ass down (literally), though she apparently gets away. Damn.

After this, she goes to the only person left, the horrible evil bitch thats a bitch to Tinkerbell for absolutely no discernible reason(BECAUSE SHE'S NOT ANNOYING AT ALL, NO. SHE'S THE MAIN CHARACTER, THATS IMPOSSIBLE.) Who tricks Tinkerbell into rallying up this Sprinting Thistles(exactly what it sounds like), for in which she FAILS once more, and instead leads them by the dozen into Fairytown, where they decimate anything not living(Because Di$ney does not kill people! That'd mean there'd be awesome movies like Up!)

During the course of the last few days, I've wathed the five hour-long episodes of Ultimate that have currently been released... and the two are, indeed, drastically different in multiple ways. Though, up until after the invasion of Hellsing HQ by the Valentine Brothers, it's fairly similar. The most notable difference that everyone is going to notice right-off-the-bat is the look. Hellsing TV and Ultimate have extremely different looks.

Ultimate is more true to the manga's look, including lots of folds in clothing, massively long arms, and el stereotypikal anime things such as chibi's and silly facial expressions every once in a while; also having a very grim look to scenes, having heavy use of face silhouettes with just the eyes/glasses and mouth being illuminated.

Hellsing TV has more of a stylish look to it. It sports more realism, less grim, and less goofy, with a nice medium in-between with a cool, stylish look and feel that reminds me a tad bit of Devil May Cry. The lenient, laid-back and yet badass feel that I absolutely love and adore, and of course, bloom helps give it that feel.

Another large difference in the looks is the main supporting character, Victoria Celes. In Ultimate, she starts off with a purplish blue police uniform, and when she gets recruited into Hellsing, she is given a orangeish yellow uniform; in Hellsing TV, her Hellsing Uniform remains the colour of her Police uniform. Also, Hellsing Victoria has straight yellow hair; where was TV has more of a orange-ish tint to it. Another, not-as noticable change is her eyes. In TV, once she is turned vampiric by Alucard, her eyes turn Red and remain red. in Ultimate, her eyes only turn Red when she gives in to her barbaric instincts (See: [link] )

Now, Ultimate was made to be accurate to the manga, but yet, of course; it isn't entirely. One change in Ultimate was, something that is as old an anime trait as moons are to Werewolves: Fan-service. Now, I don't have a problem with Fan-service; but when the series is meant to be mostly serious, the fan-service has to be done Right. Especially if it wasn't in the original. Hellsing Ultimate attempted to appeal to those who want to fuck Celes senseless by adding in some grope scenes, underboob, and ass-shots in the first two episodes. Now, in the first episode, she's confronted by a vampire priest who, after cornering her, squeezes her boobs and says he's going to rape her, and then continues to feel her up before Alucard comes in and smeers his face along with everything attached to it. In the Manga, the Vampire still threatens to rape her, but does not feel her up. Doesn't even squeeze her breasts. He, in fact, does something logical, and grabs her shirt collar ( [link] ) and lifts her off the ground in a menacing way.

Now, the gropage and feeling-upage was understandable. Guy was a vampire, and Vampires have been portrayed several time before as lustful fucks. In Episode 2, however, during the invasion of Hellsing HQ, one of the Valentine Brothers reveals that he has turned most of the Hellsing soldiers into ghouls (They're Hellsings equivalent of Redshirts), and upon seeing this, Walter and Victoria go "OMFG WTF?!" Mr. Valentine jumps over Walter, who chases him and manages to tear his arm off, while Victoria turns to run from the ghouls, but one of them manages to snatch her ankle, she falls, and gets swarmed... and not eaten, but felt up. Again.

IN THE MANGA, HOWEVER....
Same shit as with Mr. Vampire. They do not, in fact, feel her up(because we all know mindless undead have sex-drives, I mean, c'mon, look at all the Resident Evil porn!), they swarm her and grab at her arms, neck, and hair ( [link] ) instead of her thighs, ass, and tits; though the latter gives her incentive to go completely fucking berzerk and turn them into ghoul slushie afterwards. Given this, and that the fanservice throughout the two episodes was most likey at maximum a total of 1 minute put together in a total of practically two hours, I don't really have a problem with it, though I wasn't too much of a fan of it.

VISUAL: 9.0/10 - The character proportions were cartoony(come on, its a Di$ney/Pixar collab.), but they were very well detailed and high quality. The dogs especially. God damn dogs. They really seemed realistic there.
STORY: 7.5/10 - A good story behind it, I won't say much as to the details since I dislike spoiling. But yeah, I loved the story.
ACTION: 8.8/10 - The fight/action scenes in this movie(Swords were drawn!) were very well done and I was on the edge of my seat for most of them.
EMOTION: 9.5/10 - Good god this movie had mixed emotion. It was cute and cuddly one second, and making you want to regret laughing the next, and then a minute later, made waterfalls sprout from your eyes. And for god's sake. PEOPLE DIED IN THIS MOVIE. PEOPLE as in PLURAL. MULTIPLE. People rarely die in a (god damn mother fucking bitch-faced) Di$ney movie, and this one has multiple deaths. Good fucking Christ, man.
SOUNDTRACK: 9.0/10 - I loved the soundtrack to this movie. Quite possibly the most epic (god damn mother fucking bitch-faced) Di$ney movie soundtrack I've heard in a while(Pirates doesn't count as a (god damn mother fucking bitch-faced) Di$ney movie). I was very impressed, I'm going to get the soundtrack once it comes out.

The album maintains the previous album's heavy use of sampling in songs to create a certain mood or send a message, though not As heavy as their first album. Re-visiting sources they used in their first album (Daredevil, Fullmetal Jacket) as well as new sources of sampling (Such as C.S.I.)

The last track on the album, El Derecho De Vivir En Paz, is in their native tongue, which I think the band needs to do more of (They had released an album between this and The Heroes' Code, with had some of the songs from the first album in their native language).

The best song on the album, in my opinion, is Hardcore. Definintly the fastest paced song they've released on the two albums. It definitely pushes the barrier between electronica and metal, having a fast guitar perfectly alongsized a trance-like electronica synthesizer.

Shit, shit, crap, crap, and assjelly. Aren't the Daily Deviations supposed to be for the special and unique? Why the hell do I see average shit like [link] in there? WHAT IS SO SPECIAL ABOUT THIS PICTURE? It's a naked woman with rose petals, colour level fuckage and a scratch filter! Sure, the lighting is good, BUT ITS NOT SPECIAL AT ALL. Also, WHAT THE FUCK IS WITH THIS ONE? [link]
I CAN DO THAT WITH MY PHONE. The guy didn't even GIVE A REASON WHY IT SHOULD BE A DAILY DEVIATION. Maybe I should go stalk beaches and take pictures of random people walking around, make it monochrome, and see how well it does

Now, since I've been bashing the photography section, let's see a few in which I believe Did deserve the Daily Deviation spot:

This picture is how well lightning should be if it is to deserve a spot on the DD Board. It shows extreme definition, it makes the shot epic, it shows the figure rising from the ground for whichever reason. Perhaps he collapsed from over-exertion? Perhaps an ancient Greek Olympics competition? The reason as to why he his rising from the ground are far and wide. Unlike this shit ( [link] ) in which, once again, NOTHING SPECIAL AT ALL. Perhaps the only things that might be special about that picture is the fact that she has an old style Coca-Cola bottle, and her hat is somehow miraculously not falling off of her head.

[link] is another picture in which I believe deserves a spot, simply because of its UNIQUENESS. You're probably never going to come across another picture of the infamous Hillary Clinton making such an immensely hilarious facial expression. THIS IS NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN AGAIN. Therefor, of course, a once-in-a-life-time thing definitely deserves a DD spot, not pictures that involve someone throwing fake blood over a part of the body, accompanying it with a short poem, and hoping someone sees symbolism in it. Explain to my the uniqueness of this picture? Sure, the transparency on her neck thing is well done, except for the fact that I can't tell if that loose hair strand is inside or outside of it. Also, those bead necklaces look superimposed over her hands and dress. Doesn't fit AT ALL. Not to mention that all effort fades once you get outside the window. RANDOM BLOBS OF GREEN AND WHITE, YAY!
