There are several reasons why I haven't been online in the past several weeks...

1., I've been busy booking overtime at work so I can keep up with my rent and whatnot,

2. Up until recently, there has only been one working computer in the computer lab, and everytime I try to get on it there's already someone planted in front of it, or it's already in use, and I'm kicked off within minutes,

3. The computer lab is closed whenever I have a free moment.

I want to get my internet back so bad, so I'm gonna try and do just that during the months of November and December. So all of you who want to see me back, think good thoughts about me getting my internet back!

While I like the fact that I have a job again, after a little over 10 weeks, (I know a LOT of people have been out of work for a lot longer-- How the hell do they keep themselves motivated?!) I can look foward to getting paid once again! But, like the title of the journal says... I just gotta bitch about a few things (I REALLY gotta learn how to be more appriciative... Maybe later, I'm in the mood to bitch!)

- Once again, I gotta fight early morning and evening traffic(JOY!)

- I referred a friend and former co-worker who was hired AFTER me, and she started BEFORE I did... She's also getting paid more than I do! What a burn!

- We were told in training that we get an hour lunch, but we'll just have to wait and see... In other words, lunch time will be reduced to a half-hour after we get out of training.... I was looking foward to having long lunches, too! Damn!

But there ARE some good points to working again, such as:

- I have a reason to get out of the house, other than I have no internet,

- I get my first paycheck next friggin week! No more waiting three weeks for a bi-weekly check!

- I get paid weekly! (HUUUGE plus!)

- Which means after I get all of my other bills settled, I can work on getting the internet back at home again!

- I can also have crazy colored hair at this job as well! All I have to do is grow it out in the back again (I cut it... Long story!)

Well, that's all I have so far... I got into work early, and therefore got out early, but starting tomorrow and until Saturday, I won't be able to come on because the computer center will be closed before I get out of work... So I guess nothing will be too different on your guys' end! I'll be looking foward to commenting on your pictures and whatnot then!

As of the tenth, I will have been on DA for six whole years! I wish I could be around to celebrate, but I will be in training at my new job then, so I won't be around... I'll try and get my internet back as soon as I can, 'cause I miss the hell outta surfing the 'net on my OWN computer~! Being broke is never any fun...

So yeah, September 10th will be my 6th anniversary here on DA! Wish I could celebrate, but can't at the moment...

Once again, I have no friggin' internet at home, and haven't had it since the 31st of July. I got home from watching my mom's and sister's pets on the 21st, and found out the hard way.

The reason why I didn't write this journal six days sooner is that all of the computers in my apartment's computer center were down all of that time...

... There's even more good news from my end! In case I didn't tell anyone this, I've been denied unemployment, and filed for an appeal via the telephone. I didn't recive the hearing notice in the mail, and ended up being caught off guard and getting a suprise call on the 18th! As if that didn't help my case already, I wasn't able to contact my witness because I KNEW she was at work. To make things even better, my former employer called my former team leader as their witness. So, long story short, I'm not going to get any unemployment. Fuck-ing-A~!

But there is a hint of actual good news: I was recently hired by another call center, and I start on the 8th of September. The bad side to all of this is that I have no money coming for at least another four weeks... Another four weeks without internet is going to be ABSOLUTE hell for me! Not only will I not be able to upload anything to DA, I won't be able to Roleplay or anything...

Long, unintresting rant short, there's one very little ray of sunshine in the shitstorm that is my life right now... Anyone who gives half a damn, cross your fingers for me!

It's been over a month since I got sacked, and already I wanna give up.... Here just some of the main reasons as to why, in no particular order:

- I just found out a few days ago that I've been denied my unemployment benefits, and now I'm going through the appeals process, which is gonna take about 30 to 45 days... Happy Joy!

- I've rewrote and rewrote my resume, but it still looks like shit... Why?? All the jobs I've held in the past are shit, and all of the legitimate businesses want nothing to do with me...

- All the job offers I have been getting are from what are called Multi-Level Marketing firms, and I wanna stay the HELL away from those! I'll go into detail about what Multi-Level Marketing is in a future journal, if anyone cares to find out what it is, but for right now, I'm drained...

- Because I have absolutely NO means of money, I have to figure out how I'm gonna pay my rent next month! Not fun at all! I would very much like NOT to move back in with my mom, but the way things're going...

- My credit is bad, and has been bad since before I lost my job, so that's adding to the curse of employers shunning the hell outta me!

- Thinking about it, I realize that I have no real marketing skill... Going back to school at this point would not help me in any shape or form, because like I said, my credit is bad. My credit is bad because I'm in a mountain of debt, and I have no means of paying it off...

- Because I have absolutely no means of income, I have no way of paying my car insurance, and I fear that I'm gonna be dropped like a bad habit.

So, in short, I have bad credit, have no money, no real skills, and on the verge of losing everything... All the more reasons for employers to say, in a polite and professional way, "THERE'S NO WAY IN HELL THAT WE'LL HIRE YOU! Fuck off and have a nice life! "

I've applied to jobs in person in the past, only to be forgotten, blown off, or ignored. Very rarely did I ever get an honest answer from anyone, and that answer was something along the lines of "We're not hiring at the moment."

I know I gotta go out and find something, but whith how long it took me to find my last job, how I was treated and how long it took to find another job are fresh on my mind... I've already been turned down online, and I'm afraid I'll be blown off if I go to apply for a job in person. I just don't know what to do...

Had to pay off not one, but TWO speeding tickets [Oh happy joy], found out my auto insurance has not been paid [was too fucking broke from those goddamned tickets -- people drive like their grandmothers 'round here] and I have yet to pay it off.... And there is next to no food in my house... To top that off, And I don't get paid until Thurday. Thank God for Direct Deposit!

On the flip side of the coin, the rent just got paid, and I always managed to pay my rent early! :woot:

Another unimportant thing to rant about is I have been on DA for five years since the 10th! Yay for me! I also subscibed for another two years.

Work limits the hell outta my free time, and I had to use that free time to look for an apartment for myself. My mom helped me, of course! Well, after about four weekends' worth of searching, I've finally found a place to call my new home! I've been approved and all, just need to pay the rest of the security deposit, sign the lease, and I'm living on my own as of the 25th! No more roommates, WOOT~! :woot:

Speaking of my roommates... Long story short, my roommates pretty much showed their true colors to me a while ago, but as December and last month, WHOAH~!

...But that's soon gonna change!
Which means that there's gonna be a MORE of wait time for commenting on pics and responding to comments.. ^^()

In other news, my art time is severly limited as well. I do work on artwork, but mostly at work. Can anyone guess what I'm working on? If you guessed (or if I told some of you) that I'm FINALLY working on the final draft of the 14Prizm comic, you'd be right! As of right now, I'm almost on page 7! Which brings me to asking anuone reading willing to do this... Does anyone mind giving me some critique once I get the comic uploaded? I KNOW have a ton of things to work on, and a little critique could go a long way!

I'm most likely going to upload the comic one page at a time... Those of you who still remember have probably been waiting long enough.

Unfortunenately, I have little time for other artwork at the monent. I haven't forgotten.. I'll get to them as soon as I either get the 14Prizm comic out of the way or get some more free time.

No problem! With the finacial help of my mom (I DO have to pay her back), I was able to catch up with bills for a time and now had some time to focus on other things, like getting a jump start on a few New Year's resolutions like get back into the habit of exercising and FINALLY finishing up on the storyboard of 14Prizm so I can at least get the intro up on DA with the start 2008...

Then I was contacted by another employer who wanted to hire me for the remainder of the season for a steady eight hours, so I said yes like an idiot. Despite mentally beating myself about the head with the relization of what I just did with my free time, I shall persevere! I shall dedicate as much free time as possible (gotta use SOME of that for sleeping) to finishing the storyboard and STARTING THE ACTUAL COMIC. Wish me well, all!

Speaking of which... I've decided to add anthros to the comic... As I've said in the last journal, none of them will replace the current lineup, just take on some roles a little later on in the comic. And most, if not all, will have no powers of any sort. At least, none of the ones with any major roles will... No point in having any sort of powers when you're in showbiz... It's all CGed anyhow!

P.S. I know I lost my subscription, but oh well... I'll renew it for a time on my birthday or something; I was a day late because of financial problems last time anyhow. For now, I'm gonna focus on drawing other stuff, mostly anthro for three reasons:

1. I owe several people (, , ) pictures,

2. I need to focus on something other than 14Prizm for a little bit,

3. I haven't posted any anthro piccies in quite a while!

Writing wise, I've rewritten some parts of the script for the intro, since everything I write sucks, it seems. I'm gonna take :iconarmania:'s advice and put it off for a week (provided I last that long), come back, reread it, and make necessary adjustments.

Life wise, things're SUCKING! I need work in the worst way, so I can get my fiances straigtened out... I'm not unemployed, just underemployed. I have two jobs, but I don't get nearly enough hours at one job and the other is commission based. No way in hell am I gonna work that one full time! I get good pay there, but still... So, in short, I'mm looking to replace a job, but that's easier said than done, I'll just leave it at that.

Okay, enough rambling for now! Off to whatever the hell I was doing in the first place!

Slight change of plans... I will still be heading over to MetroCon, but with a coworker who also wants to go. He knows me a LOT less than he thinks, so this is going to be an "intresting" experience for the both of us, to say the least ....

Well, at least my room rent at the hotel just got halved~!
