So instead of 0, I have a mark of 46 for that particular project, wooooo!! We were told we would've gotten a better mark if the whole thing hadn't been so plagerised, but at the moment I'm happy that we got more than 40 which is a passing mark : D
(Thank you sooooo much to those who commented on my last journal btw. I would reply to your comments, but I feel that because my argument is slightly more redundant now, I'd be complaining about nothing 8D; )

Sooo, other stuff....
-I'm going home in three weeks!! : D I can't waaait, it'll be so nice to see my family again *prances around like an idiot*.

-Camomile Tea is excellent for sore throats, and also very soothing in general. The canteen seems to have an endless supply of the stuff so I can nick some whenever I please, which is quite nice. I also got an extra pudding after dinner because the chef was trying to get rid of all the iced buns left over from today <33

-Transformers soundtrack is epic.

So we had this group project assignment for my course sometime back at the end of Semester 1. We basically had to make a 5-10 min video about car emissions; what they consist of, how they are dealt with so as to cause less harm to the environment etc. etc.

Fun, right? (well, it was in my opinion) It started off fine. We met up with a lecturer who knew a lot about emissions and discussed with him what we were gonna do and he told us about emissions and catalystic converters and stuff. That was good.

What annoyed me was that after that, NOTHING happened. At all. No-one was organising anything and it was hard getting hold of all the group members. So I tried contacting them through e-mail, saying that we should start doing planning, even if it was through e-mails, so that we would at least know what to when it came to video-ing the project. Again, nothing. I tried contacting people in person when it came round to lectures but no-one seemed to cooperate at all.

Finally, the other girl in the group arranged a meet-up date to discuss what we were going to do. Only the two of us turned up out of the five possible.
Guy 1 was at home, and hadn't bothered to contact us despite the fact that he coud have quite easily checked his student webmail from anywhere with internet access.
Guy 2 didn't know what was going on because he hadn't recieved the mail. He made absolutely no effort what so ever to find out what was going on and in the end didn't even participate in the project.
Guy 3 was on some army training thing and again had made no effort to say anything about this before 'we' met up.

In the end "our" video, was a crap animation of a catalystic converter taken off of youtube at the last minute with our team members voices recorded over it explaining the processes. They all seemed pretty happy with it, but personally I was disgusted with the lack of effort they had put in, and ashamed to be part of the same team as them.
End of story, right?

No. Guy 1 who submitted the file, put in the wrong file type so that the marker couldn't access it. He sent an e-mail around asking us to re-submit it but with the right file type this time. I would have quite gladly done it myself, but I didn't have the file.
So taking initiative ( and I am pretty sure I'm the only one who did, because no-one else seemed to know what was going on at this point), I asked around to see who /did/ have it. It turned out that Guy 1, who definitely did have it, was on holiday with no internet access and so he couldn't do anything about it. He did tell me however, that Guy 3 in the group had it on his computer and to get him to do it. So I asked the Guy 3 about it, and he said he didn't think he had it and he'd have a look.

After that, figuring Guy 3 would have enough sense to seek help if he didn't have it/ was having problems, I left him to his own devices. Big mistake.
It turns out that /no-one/ re-submitted the file for our group in the end, so we got a 0 for this part of the module. Although I wouldn't have been surprised if we failed anyway due to copyright laws...

I MEAN WHAT THE HECK YOU ASS****S!. TAKE SOME INITIATIVE YOU IDIOTS, I'M NOT GOING TO FREAKING ORGANISE EVERYTHING FOR YOU; YOU'RE IN UNIVERSITY NOW, NOT PRESCHOOL. MARKS ARE NOT GOING TO BE GIVEN TO YOU ON A SILVER PLATTER BECAUSE "YOU TRIED". DO YOU NOT WANT TO DO THIS COURSE? BECAUSE IT JUST SO HAPPENS THAT I DO AND I AM NOT WILLING TO FAIL THIS MODULE BECAUSE OF YOUR F***ING LAZINESS!!

The least idiot no.3 could have done was tell idiot no.1 that he didn't have the file, and ask him to submit it when he got back.

*Sigh* I hate group work with these guys ¬¬

I'm going to go and see if I can find any accomodation for next year now. Hopefully I'll be able to find something reasonably soon or I'll be a homeless bum next year.

I have had a temporary lull in the amount of homework that's been given to me, and my semester 2 ( Has England always had "semesters" or is this a sign of American-ization?! D: ) schedule also gives me most afternoons off. And so this morning I had an Electronics lecture, a Materials lecture and a Mechanics tutorial. I decided to skip visiting my tutor at 12 and proceeded nearly straight to the dinner hall, where I had some type of pasta for lunch. Afterwards, I went back to my room and decided to do something productive.

So far I have fiddled with my desktop so it looks slightly prettier (it has a green colour-scheme now instead of that hideous blue), changed my MSN colour to match it, downloaded an update for skype and dusted my room with a damp paper towel. I then decided that I should do a much needed 'cleaning' of my DA message box and spent about an hour checking/deleting messages, the oldest dating back to October sometime. Instead of a total of 700 or so messages, I now have none : D

And then I decided to have a cup of green tea with two teaspoons of sugar and two teaspoons of powdered milk, which was rather nice.

Which leads me to where I am now. Sitting at my desk, at only 4:30 in the afternoon, very bored : D

So how are you guys??
(I just realised that including this one, all three of my most recent journal entries have been posted on the 27th of their month. I think this is slightly weird but it was not intentional, believe me xD )

My 15 hour art exam starts tomorrow and goes on 'till thursday! I'm looking forward to it but also pretty nervous seeing as I had no idea what I was going to paint until today xD

And then I've got my first proper exam on the 15th May. But before then, I've got;
- My four day Art exam ( as mentioned before)
- To mount and display art from this year by Tue 6th (Mon 5th is a bank holiday)
- ~Buffy2204 's birthday party (Murder Mysteries are fun!)
- My birthday
- My grandad is coming round ( and taking the family out for a meal : D )
- We're seeing the Lion King in London
- I believe Doz and Buffy want to take me out for a birthday meal
- The whole Further Maths group is going to our teacher's house for a meal
- Four Physics practice synoptic papers to do ( each should take about 2 hrs)

And then I've also got school in general, so I'll have to try and slot in my revision between everything. Maybe it was a blessing in disguise that I lost my job >_<

On a postive note though, the next 'Justice for All' game comes out on May 9th. And I recently finished watching an anime called 'Baccano!', it's slightly confusing but the storyline and characters are pretty good :3

I think I'm going to be half broke before I can buy all the christmas prezzies I need to ;_; I currently have about £110, but I'm gonna have to pay for more driving lessons again soon (my dad still hasn't gotten round to insuring me on the family car yet ¬¬ ) , which'll cost about a hundred quid, and then I have to buy two Secret Santa presents, my brother's present, my granddad's present and my best friend's present along with some food for the form chistmas party and some monthly necessities.
Dad says I should get a job that pays better, but decent Saturday jobs are hard to find. Not to mention that apart from my Saturday job I have school, driving lessons, homework, and a few after school classes. If I hated my Saturday job, I seriously don't know how I'd make it through the week. Thankfully though, my weekend job is one that I can really look forward to :3

And I managed to send off my UCAS form the Thursday before last! The Universities I put down were Brunel, Manchester, Leeds, Loughborough and Sussex. And guess what...I already have two conditional offers!! Leeds wants me to get BBB and Brunel said I have to get at least two C's, so it's not looking too bad so far! I'm gonna have to revise hard for the January exams though >_<'

Didn't go to see 'August Rush' in the end D: The reviews weren't that good and I didn't really want to spend five quid to see a movie that I probably wouldn't enjoy so yeah, left it... I did, however, still have a great time in Canterbury! There were all these cute little Christmas stalls selling stuff like candy, mulled wine, jewellry (sp??) and more sweets, plus I managed to get my hands on some pockys which were pretty tasty!! x3

Also, We actually had out work Christmas meal last Saturday! We ate at this great indian place and then went to the pub, where I had my first ever shot. I can't remember what it was called, but it tasted of Black Jacks and I liked it x3 We also managed to get my colleague to go up and sing with the the live band that was playing, she seriously has an amazing voice, it was like, woah D: And then after that, we went to a nice bar down the road. There was a bouncer at the door, but he didn't ask me for ID so I was very happy >: D I had another shot which almost made me cry and then I had to go home at about 11:30 'coz my parents wanted to go to bed but couldn't untill I came home ;_; All in all though, it was a great night

I got my eyes checked the other day ( Last check up was about 18 months ago, and my driving instructor wasn't too happy when I told him that I thought my glasses weren't strong enough xD), it turns out that I now need -6.5 contacts, and -8 lenses for my glasses, lets see if any of you guys can beat that! >: D

It's also getting to that time of year when I have to decide on Uni options, I have three in mind (Leeds, Loughborough and Brunel) but I need five, and I have to hand in my UCAS form soon, hopefully I'll be able to get some stuff sorted this weekend.

DAY OFF WORK ON SATURDAY!!! *Finally* I don't think I've had a day off for at least three months or more, it'll be nice to have a lie-in. And then Doz, my friend and I will hopefully go and see 'August Rush' which looks a bit cliché, but then I like that in a movie.

...Sleep for now, the last obstacle (Friday) before my weekend of freedom awaits, but it shall not disheaten me from my quest for freedom and mindless money spending!

Which is really the only reason I'm updating my journal! I think there should be a prize for people who update their journals the least amount each year x3

1. I have work in 20 minutes but I want to stay at home ;_; Hopefully it'll be one of those speedy days where eveything goes by really quickly!!

2. I own a hamster with a big...thing on its chin. Really big, and it's still growing. My dad said its probably just a wart 'coz the hammie seems fine, but I don't think it is. Poor hammie....

3. uuhh...I had Kellogs Special K Creamy Berry Crunch (Long name D: ) for breakfast. But I was reading the back of the pack of Weetabix because its waaay more interesting than the Kellogs box, and it seems you can get talking stuffed toys from the movie 'Surfs Up'. What I found interesting was that one of the plushies says 'I'll be watching you'. Imagine having a stuffed penguin that says its watching you..... O_o;

4. I have to help out at life drawing next tuesday : D It seems the teahers who normally take it are going to be late because of a school trip they're taking the year tens on, so they're going to leave instructions on the board and Doz and I get to be in charge and make sure everything runs smoothly until they get back x3

5. Speaking of teachers, one of my maths teachers hurt his leg due to straining it in a 10K race he did (I believe he completed it in 49 min). So Doz and I ended up helping him carry his electronic register as he was having trouble using his crutches and carrying it. It was funny 'coz we were pressing all the buttons and managed to turn it on, but he wouldn't tell us his pin so we couldn't mess with the registration stuff though D:

6. Yes, I am using this tag as a poor excuse for an update I have 5 minutes left before I need to get going though, so I'm gonna have to think of some more random stuff quickly!

7. I wear my lovely Canadian 'Roots' jumper when I'm cold. Its big and comfy and I've had it for a coupl'a years but I've never really appreciated it until now!

8. I did an Art Meme the other day. If you haven't already read it, you can, it's in my gallery somewhere xD

Finally managed to update my messages and stuff, YAYZ!!11!!2! : D
My reason for not updating?? I have no idea, so it was probably just pure laziness

I've commented on a few recentish pictures and journals in my message inbox, but deleted most of them because I figured there wasn't much point in replying to a picture done at the beginning of May, and also because I am a lazy person who can't be bothered to reply to over 200 journals and pictures :3

Just so that anyone actually reading this knows- I have deleted a huuuuge bunch of stuff from my gallery and scraps. But a mass of stuff has been left either because they were gift arts and it would just be rude to get rid of them, or because the pictures were some of my most recent and I do need to keep some pictures. So yeah...

I do have some pictures which I have done quite recently and may put up, but again, I am a lazy person so it may not happen for a while. Or it may happen quite soon...who knows, I'm in a funny mood today I am also considering deleting/replacing my current shoutbox pic and journal header because they are starting to annoy me D:

School is going pretty well for me I suppose, I have one exam left but for some stupid reason, it's been arranged so that I have my last exam after study leave has finished, instead of during it like with the rest of the exams. I guess the teachers just don't appreciate those who enjoy maths ¬¬ But then again, I shouldn't be at school for too long due to the approaching summer holidays! So everything should be fine

Happy New Year guys!! yeah, I know it's late but as they say, "Better late than never", right?? My New Years Resolutions are to;
1) update my gallery more often
2) be less lazy
3) do more for my A-level courseworky stuff

I think no.2 would have to be my most successful one at the moment; I've finally managed to get rid of all my messages! (the oldest one being from the 28th Dec! X3) So if you think that I was very random in replying to a journal/picture so late, you now know it was because of my laziness

Christmas was good though! I got a Nintendo DS Lite, YAY!! I had to pay about £40 towards it, but I got two games with it, (one being Animal Crossing, that game is strangely addictive...) and *Dozaloz got me a really nice case to go on it, so all was well

And this week-end the family and I shall be visiting my Aunt and Uncle, I finally managed to get a day off work which is nice!! But we have a stock-take coming up the week after I return, so I'm going to enjoy the break while I can!!

My scraps have been updated with a few (well...two...) pictures, so my gallery hasn't been completley neglected But I still need to finish my last NDAway peice, which needs to be done by...tomorrow??!! Oh crud, I need to get that done ¬¬

"Santa" just went by our house on a float with the annual donation collecter people T'was quite funny actually, we had a guy come knocking on our door asking for donations for the local club they were collecting for, and the float just continued by, down the road and around the corner, leaving three or so of the donation collecters behind!! The man who had just been to our door had to walk quickly down the road to try and catch up with the float, poor guy Tis pretty cold outside too, I'd hate to be a donation collecter at this time of year :3

Darn, I need to do revision for my Decision Maths test tomorrow, I hate D1 ¬¬

Merry Two-weeks-till-christmas day people, I hope you guys are looking forward to christmas as much as I am!!
I still need to finish off my christmas shopping but I have a few things in mind for those who I haven't managed to get anything for yet, the only problem is finding the time to actually buy them!! One hour a week isn't nearly as much time as I would love to have to do my shopping, but the holidays are starting in a week, so it should be fine!

School seems to be both stressful and relaxing these days, I'm not getting much homework at the moment and I have about 6 free periods off school a week for 'study leave', but at the same time, I still have to prepare for some upcoming exams in January and get some stuff sorted for a party the sixth-form are organising for some primary school kids this Wednesday, (which, considering we get the entire afternoon and part of the morning off to get everything prepared doesn't make it too bad! ) All the kids have some form of mental disability so it should be challenging, but I'm really looking forward to the experience!! ^-^

And I finally managed to update my gallery!! O.k, so it's only one pic but it's a start, right?? I'm also working on my entries for the last NDAway challenge, I have the clothes designs sorted out, I just need to draw and colour the detailed final versions of them, (which is actually turning out to be harder than I thought it would be, darn it ¬¬ )

Anyway, I hope you guys are enjoying the christmas season! And Merry Holidays to those of you who have them!!

ugh, halloween pictures, THEY'RE THE SAME EVERY SINGLE YEAR!! Obviously the artists find must it had to come up with pictures that don't have a scantily-clad witch girl with a "creepy forest" and full moon in the background, along with bats, black cats and a few random pumpkins ¬¬
hehehe, sorry if this seems a bit random but when you look through the popular halloween pics, that's all you really see....

In other news, yay! randomly pinky/purple backgrounded journal!! ^-^ *Dozaloz and a useful how-to helped me quite a bit, i think I'll know what to do for a background now if i want to do anything more ambitious with it which is good

I be alive!! Yay!!

6th form has caused there to be alot of homework in my life, and although I still check up very regulary on NDA, DA etc. I just haven't felt that inspired to answer any of my messages or update my gallery with new pictures. It's not really an artists block, more of a 'I just can't be bothered block' But after submitting my 'Get happy soon Doz thing' pic and recieveing so many lovely comments about pie, I felt like updating my message center and updating my journal, so all is now well

I got a job!!! It's in Crosses which is the art shop where I did my work experiance :3 I work Saturdays from 9-5:30 and I'm on minimum wage, But I don't really mind because the people I work with are so nice, and I get to stock and sell pretty arty items!! YAY!! ^_____^

I'm also hoping to get inspired enough to draw summit decent soon! X3 My laziness has stopped me from drawing anything, but I want to draw something so maybe I will actually get round to doing it soon??!

And half term is coming up!! Yayness!! We're going to my granddads for a bit coz he's selling his lovely cottage and moving to someplace smaller that doesn't need as much effort too look after. Which is a shame because it is beautiful cottage!! ;_;
But at least I'll get to see it one last time, so I think i'll make the most of it and draw a few sketches/paintings of it while i'm there

I'm hopeless at complex numbers and I really need some help with an equation I'm working on Please note me or reply to this journal if you can help, although somehow I feel that the chances are slim that anyone who reads this will have he experiance I need, no offence to anyone reading this!, it's just that not many people enjoy maths enough to do it for A level maths, let alone higher A level maths

Wondering why I said best-> worst and then put C grade French at the top? It's because I literally SUCK at French. My teacher was both very thrilled and surprised when I got a C in my french mocks. Even I was surprised and assumed it was a bluff. BUT IT WASN'T!!! I GOT A C IN MY FRENCH AGAIN!!! YAY!!! ^_________________^ I also managed to somehow get an A* in my Eng. Lit, how I got from B to A* in about 2 weeks I have no idea, but then again, who am I to question the system?! XD

Other than that, there isn't much else to say. My holiday was wonderful and I feel very relaxed and ready to get back to school. I'm afraid I didn't really manage to draw much while I was away, bit I did do a landscapeish pic which if I do get round to putting it up should be a nice change :3

Camp was great fun! I made friends, met old ones and learned more about god, so twas very successful and loverly

anyways, This new layout for DA is freaky....O.o I'm not quite sure if i like it or not yet... it looks so....comapact and neat, yet messy....

I also had about 152 new messages or so!! XP I know its nothing compared to those who get about 200 a day, but for meh, its a world record ^-^; So anyways, I have commented on some stuffs, but not everything!! Especially most of the journals....I cannot read 64 journals without getting bored/tired/half dying of journalitis

Anyways, I finished my work experiance!! ^-^ It all went very well and the manageress was pleased with my work by the end of it so all was fine and dandy. And guess what??? They gave me lotsa art stuffs and a card on my last day!!! ^-^ It was really nice stuff aswell! (as in watercolour paints, paper and some loverly paintbrushes, it must have all added up to about £15.00 worth of equipment! O.o ) Was a great surprise though ^-^

And more good(ish) news!! ^-^ I got b.o.b. removed this morning!!! ^-^ *does happy dance* I have a bandage over my eye so I am half blind (thus the journal title ^-^ ) and it is very weird typing O.o.... I am also recovering from the general anasthetic I had so if I post any weird comments it's probably because of that XDD

This also means that I am going to have problems if I attempt to draw anything, so any pictures I owe people (actually it's only one person, sorry Kaia ) are gonna take a little while longer :3

I just finished my first day of work experience!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAYNESS!!! ^-^

So I got there, went in to the shop I was doing W.E in and said 'Hi I'm here for Work experience'. So one of the workers showed me where to put my bag and stuff. And then, the first thing they tell me how to do, after I have only said 'Hi I'm here for my W.E' and 'hi' , is how to work on the tills!! And I'm just thinking 'how on earth do they know they can trust me??' O.o

But yus, twas great fun. I now know how to laminate and photocopy and use the tills and price stuff using the pricing gun ^-^ Pricing stuff is VERY addictive, you click the handle and the label half comes out and you stick it on something, and it just flows out of the gun. Very stress-relieving ^-^

It was pretty hot and Cross's (for those of you who don't have it, Cross's is an art shop :3 ) has no air conditioning BUT IT WAS O.K!!! They had a coupl'a fans in the shop There was about four of us, inc. meh, working in the shop. Not including the lady who came in during lunch time to make up for those who were on break, and everyone was very nice

The customers were also very friendly, but that might have been because they felt sorry for me being new as I had a 'On Work Experience' note attached to my shirt ^-^ One of the customers who came in I actually knew, so that was also nice It was slightly weird though. We would have no customers for about half an hour, and then suddenly, a long queue of people would appear, all wanting to have a dozen or so things photocopied, and then it would quieten down for a bit and nothing would happen!

Other than that, nothing much really happened....the photocopier broke and then unbroke, a guy bought a HUGE roll of bubble wrap, goodness knows why we had it or why he wanted it anyway O.o , I helped the shop get and extra £13 or so by finding an ink cartridge a customer wanted but the other staff couldn't find and I helped take down a string of England flags which one of the staff wasn't tall enough to take down.

Drawings and stuffs I may owe people: I REALLY APOLOGISE FOR THE DELAY!!! Most stuff is almost done, but I've been pretty lazy lately (I think it’s the hot weather ) and I haven't managed to get them up yet. But I will try to get everything done sooner or later, so don't worry!!!

B.o.b is still alive and growing. I'm gonna see an ophthalmologist on Thursday so hopefully something is going to get sorted by then. If they actually get round to giving us the exact time of the appointment XD

Umm.....nothing else much really. There has been some really hot weather recently in my area, so I'm gonna have to buy summer clothes (yay!!) and wear suntan lotion (boo!! -makes my skin greasy XP ). It is boiling though!! And I live next to the sea so at least I get a cooling breeze, I'd hate to think about what the rest of the country is like O.o

I have made a random discovery!! I was browsing through NDA ( [link] ) when I suddenly discovered that there was a link at the bottom of the forum index page allowing me to basically stalk people on the forums!! Its pretty cool actually, it tells meh if people are reading their PMs or browsing through GD and stuff XD

Other updaty stuff, I now have a lump above my eye which may be anything from a burst blood vessel to an infected inside wound thingy. I have no idea, and neither does my doctor so I'm gonna have to see a skin specialist or summit O.o The only thing I do know is that it is not shrinking after 2 weeks and is above my eye which is also pretty distracting ¬¬

My holiday so far has been...relaxed. Too relaxed. I AM TOTALLY BORED PEOPLE!! XD I have little money so I can't really go into town. The rest of my family aren't on their holidays yet and my friends seem to be pretty much busy XP But I have to take books back to school tomorrow so at leats that should get meh out of the house for a while ^-^

I finished my Physics and my French writing today, they were my last two exams!! ^-^ This means I actually get an extended holiday because there is no school now my GCSEs have finished!!! Until next term that is, if I hopefully manage to get into sixth form, but thats not until September!! XD

And for those of you who want to know, the rest of my exams went very well :3 The first question of the maths non-calc. was just insulting though, summit like;

'This is a grid for a 3D pyramid *insert picture of a grid for square base pyramid here, with the letter 'P' next to one of the three corners of the grid* Three points will meet up directly above the middle of the 3D shape. Anyway, this is actually a week-belated-update, seeing as I haven't written anything for a while and its the only thing i can think of writing ^-^

So, anyway, last Saturday, ~Zokz, ~Dozaloz and I went to an Expo in London!!! XD It was so cool!! We all got a reduced daily travelcard so it was cheaper than normal and after about two hours of travel finally reached the Excel center!

When we got there, we met ~Hawth who is a lovely person that came all the way from around cornwall to go to the expo O.o BUT IT WAS SUPER COOL!!! We saw a Darlix from 'Doctor Who', and a guy dressed as Urahara, or however his name is spelt, from Bleach. And there was also a klingon from Star Treck, and the lady who played Janet Frasier from Stargate ^-^ There were also some robots from Robot Wars and a guy dresed up as link :3

So it was super cool because there were also lotsa souvenirs too, but i randomly brought a Naruto headband because it was shiney and it was cool ^-^

So yeah, I went to London without a parent (yay!!), met a person off of the internet who was not a paedifile or anything (yay!!), and got a Naruto headband (double yay!!). ^-^

My GCSEs have also been going well : )

...and thats it!...all done and dusted....I will finish writing this Journal, apart from the links i always paste in the bottom....NOW!

AND GUESS WHAT??!! I DON'T HAVE TO GO TO SCHOOL!!! and do you know why??!! I have study leave!!! XD My GCSE exams are starting soon so i get to go off school and "revise". Which i should do seeing as they are very important, but i probably won't do as much as the school expects me to Anyway, not only this, but I HAVE FINISHED MY COMPULSORY EDUCATION!!! AND I NEVER HAVE TO WEAR A SCHOOL UNIFORM AGAIN!! AND AFTER I HAVE DONE MY GCSEs I GET A LONG HOLIDAY WHICH IS LONGER THAN EVERYONE ELSES AS I DO NOT HAVE TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL!!! (yay for caplocks!! ^-^

So all is well in Beenz land ^-^ Well, actually, i do have to wear my school uniform for when i go in to do my exams, but that doesn't count coz i'm not wearing it as a 'i'm going to school to learn' thing XD

The only downside of this is that everyone thinks 'hey! Val (which is my name for those few people who don't know) has nothing to do today! Lets make her do our work and stuff for us!!' So today I have already been out to get two jugs of milk (which i must say were pretty heavy for someone who has to do a ten minute walk one way to get them in the first place), vacuumed and cleaned up my room (well, i'm supposed to do it anyway but my sister who i share the room with said i had to do it today) and vacuumed and cleaned up the sitting room and the kitchen. And now i am at the computer having a well earned break because i am boiling hot ^-^

The sitting room wasn't too bad though, it was just a bit dusty because we got a starling stuck in our chimney which escaped but luckily flew out the nearby front door ^-^

So yes, this was my update for today!- AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ~Dozaloz FOR YESTERDAY BECAUSE SHE WAS 15!! ^-^

It turns out that my French exam was TODAY!!! Luckily one of my friedns realised it, told meh and I still had about three hours before it to do some more revision so it was all O.k in the end ^-^
I'm pretty sure I did better than in the mock which is a huge relief : ) And my mum brought doughnuts and lotsa nice food for me to cheer me up before the French oral because it was so close to my birthday!! Go mum!!!! ^-^

Anyway, I got lotsa money from various relatives so I am looking forward to spending it!! I'm going to an Anime convention with ~Dozaloz on Sat 27th (and we might meet ~Hawth there, she is also working on a picture for me which is really nice of her ^-^) so I might spend some it there O.o I also got some cool Pajamas from my Aunt and Uncle, two t-shirts from my parents, three books and a how to draw anime book ([link]
Slight downside though- I have my actual GCSE French Oral on Tuesday at 14:10 (ten minutes of prep before hand aswell), and because my family and I have been so busy with our canadian relatives coming round, I haven't had enough time to revise so I have already done an hour of French revison today ;_; It wasn't to bad though! I learn't some new vocab and It turns out I'm not as bad at French as I thought I was ^-^

~Hawth is also doing her A levels at the moment so me and Doz are working on a 'good luck' piccy for her! well....I am...Doz has finished her side of the pic but I still need to colour and ink mine in

This means i have just deleted a ton of stuff and moved a couple of items into my scraps! ^-^ I still have the images stored somewhere in my computer but i doubt that they shall be seen by eyes other than my own ever again.... O.o

YAY!! ^_^ I feel a bit better now my gallery has been cleaned, i might actually re-do a couple of pieces which i still like....who knows??....I may also try and draw something other than people with clothes designes and stuff, like dragons! :3

anyway- I FINISHED MY ART GCSE YESTERDAY!!! XD It was a ten hour exam split up into two days so i feel very tired at the moment, especially as i spent most of my afternoons sorting out my prepwork, *dies* So I ended up doing a piece on 'every picture tells a story' as i had planned to, and as soon as i can take a picture of my final piece i shall It was a picture of a multicoloured piece of material folded over with hieroglyphics on it, which told the story, tis a bit hard to explain, but it was for the Bible story of Joseph and his multicoloured coat XP

And i shall be updating my gallery soon, hopefully, I'm drawing a picture of a unicorn person, which so far I like, so we shall have to see....XP

And the NoJunkathon starts tomorrow so i have lots of healthy food in the cupboards- yay!! ^-^

Nothing much is really happening at the moment...I'm going to do the Nojunkathon (above link) with ~Dozaloz sometime in March to raise money for Cancer research which should be fun ^-^ I have also started my prep work for my GCSE Art piece *faints* I'm going for the option 'Every picture tells a story' and doing summit with the bible story of Joseph and his colourful coat, so hopefully its should go well....

And my hamster Puck died- he was the cutest most caring Hamster I have ever had, and he escaped from his cage the other night and got killed by the mouse trap! *is sad* We've buried him in the garden with his own special place....Art least I've still got my other two hammies, Harvey and Ollie, both of whom are fate and cute aswell

yeah... I seem to have randomly largeish spaces between all my journal entries ^-^;

Anyway- last day of school today- i get tomorrow off and then i have a week of glorious half term, Yay!!! ^_^

Me and ~Dozaloz have finished DOA 3- (we got it for £4 secondhand- its a great game) which is kind of sad becuase now there is less point in me playing it...apart from to whip Doz' ass XD . "My" character is tons better than doz', (when we started the game we both chose a character that we liked and adopted them as our own, I got Ayane and she got Helena)

Long story short- as some of you may know, I am only allowed a certian amount of time on the computer per day. Last saturday night, most of my family was watching LOTR, and me not really wanting to watch it, i decided to go and play on the computer instead. My dad found out that i had been on the computer for about 2 hours or more while they were watching LOTR and said i couldn't go onto the computer until next (today) saturday.

so yeah- i feel pretty guilty about mot being able to go on because I've had some PMs from NDA asking me to delete a few bot topics. Wait- just deleted a bot topic, I feel better now ^-^

Anyway, sorry if I'm not in the 'know' of things, i had 26 LJ entries to read and i didn't feel like going through them all ^-^;

Anyway- the basic jist of it was that i have finished my mocks (thanks to everyone who gave useful revision tips! ^-^) and they went fine! The fish weren't too bad either, my friend was moved to another table so all was well!

Speaking of which, my christams prezzie came yesterday! Its Neons new book, and i'm really not supposed to know what my prezzie is, but Doz doesn't mind, and we leafed through it together anyway Its actually really good, all the pages are in colour, which is great because not all books are that decent in quality, and there are a few pictures in it that I haven't seen before, so on the whole i am very excited about getting my prezzie on Christmas day ^-^

Other news and stuff...well, not much really, the weather here has gotten very cold and wet, not together, but alternating between the two, which is a shame because otherwise it would be snowing and then the school might shut down ^-^

In other news i managed to get;
- an A on my biology coursework
-my maths teacher says that the 1st draft of of my maths coursework will get about 7,7,7 (maximum mark is 8,8,8) so thats pretty good,
-My art teacher also seems pretty happy with my current art project
- and I got an A* on my last piece of History coursework
so I am currently very happy ^-^

So anyway, for anyone paying attention to this and bothering to read what i am putting, I am going to draw a Christmas picture for anyone who asks for one! (Hopefully they should be better this year than last years *cringes at thought of old piccys*) The only terms i have are that the requests must be U certified as i don't really want to draw piccys that are too rude....

EDIT: Just re-read this and just realised that i sound pretty vain XP Anyway, one of the reasons i want to do pictures for people is because i have been running out of inspiration latley (notice that i haven't updated for a bit...)and i need some ideas, getting people to tell me what to draw is the only way i can really think of doing this, and thus the 'ask for a piccy and i shall draw like i am a super squirrel with a pencil' thing ^-^

I had seven pieces of homwework last weekend, its not that i didn't do the homework- I did, i managed to do two pieces of H/W each evening on at least two occasions- which is saying something becasue most of what i am getting is coursework, and if that isn't enough, i am really tired. There is a bug going round at the moment which nearly everyone seems to have and that includes me!! I hardly ever get ill, seriously, last year i was only off for about two days and one of them was two half days coz i had to see an orthodontist about my teeth...
anyway... in other news my friend has joined Devart (she also has the bug by the way) and her gallery is here ^-^

We had a swimming pool and the people who owned the farmhouse we stayed in had the sweetest cat called Tyke!! Doz, my bro and my friend and her sister (my family and I shared our holiday with my friend and her family, which made it even better!) were also veeery intrested, for some reason, in the Hephers that lived in a field nearby... O.o
I also got to see how wine was made and we went to a really cool aquarium - i never realised how weird swordfish realy were until now...
anyway, i have added more piccys into my gallery which i did while i was away and I would also like to thank Amber and LFB for being wonderful mods and for not killing me for being away 2 weeks while they have continued to look after the GD section excellently as always ^-^

In other news- MY DAD IS BACK!!! ^-^, no he and my mum did not split up or anything, he was just in Chad for about three weeks doing some saftey meeting things for the piolets that work there for MAF (a Christian Missionary thing) anyway, he has returned!!! And he also gave me some cool bracelets from Africa that are made from grass and beads O.o
My brother has also gone to Crusader camp (Christian camp) for ten days, it is his first time and would have been my fith, had I been going, but we are going to France soon after it ends and I would have had to have left early which i couldn't be bothered to do. Doz is also having fun at New Wine and may end up returning home early for a reason which i will leave her to explain if she does come back early...
Quick note on the Jark thing- after reading Neons journal I have decided that this entire thing is too confusing and that Neon has a point, I have now decided to sit back and see what happens although on August 7th I shall be doing the community thing of going to other peoples gallerys and commenting instead of loading up piccys I would give a link to her journal but i haven't quite got the hand of links yet so i will just give you one to her Devart gallery-

I would have thought that those against him would have stopped the faves for him....

What I do understand is that Jark was fired for no reason and that they plan to weed out all the 'bad artists'- how the heck can you have 'bad artists'???!! Everyone responds to what they see in their own way, and just becasue we don't think that its good, doesn't mean that it doesn't mean something to the artist themself. ART IS NOT ABOUT WHAT IT NECISSARILY LOOKS LIKE- ITS WHAT IT MEANS TO THE ARTIST - ART IS SUPPOSED TO BE A WAY OF EXPRESSING YOURSELF- THERE IS ABSOLUTLY NO DEFINITION OF WHAT ART IS 'MEANT TO BE'.

Finally!! The summer hols are here and i have the entire holidays to look forward to- including a family trip to France with my bestest buddy and her family!! I am feeling particulrly happy. Aswell as this, we are looking after a friends rat (called Squiggles) who apart from the habit of biting anything he sees, is actually very cute!
In about a week i have read, enjoyed and finished J.K Rowling-'Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince', Louise Rennison- '...and then he ate my boy entrancers' and Anne McAffery-'Dragons Kin'.
My dad will be back from wherever he is in two weeks (he is away for a month and was in Nariobi but i can't remember the next place he was going to..)
I am also hoping to write a Fanfiction for Starget but i have no idea what to write... (ideas would be welcome if you are familiar with the programme ^-^)
Anyway- I AM EXTREMLY HAPPY!!! ^-^

Live8 was so cool!! -not that i was actually there but i saw it on TV - hopefully we shall be able to make a difference!!! And the African kids on stage were so sweet!- i just wanted to hug them!
In other news- my school is having a Centenery week at the end of term. Basically they have given everyone a timetable on what they shall be doing for three days based on 'what they think we would most enjoy' - i get to spend five hours- for three days- in the same classroom infront of the same computer- making cats play guitars and bananas dance!! yes- computer animations!!
And almost everone else gets to go to the zoo, do an army training thing, make tiles and paint them etc. etc. The thing is, they get to do more than one thing for the three days- wheras i am stuck doing one thing, which, may i add, will probably not be challenging in anyway whatsoever...
ahhwell, i suppose i can't really complain until i've tried it, but it still sounds as though it will suck.... ^-^
