New work projects happening. I am now a magazine photographer. Pretty much what I wanted. Shooting for one magazine so far. I used two flashes and I controlled one of them with a radio trigger. I set the power on both flashes to 1/16, which means they fire quite fast, like 1/4000 of a second. The flashes were pretty much facing each other and I poured the milk in a plate, in between them.

The camera settings don't matter much, as long as you have no other light in the image other than from the flashes. First of all, yes, I am still out here... I am sorry for keeping silent for too long.

After a really long time of no submitting, neither updating here on :devart: it's about time to do something about it. It's mostly been because I haven't created anything worthwhile for quite a long time... Life is keeping me busy looking for jobs...

I am living in Helsinki now. After a short visit in Gothenburg and Stockholm, I took the ferry boat to Helsinki. Really beautiful cities... if you ever wondered whether you should visit or not, don't just wonder! Just go see them!

Had some shoots here and I hope to get more. I will anyway search for another job as well, if this doesn't pay off...

Finally managed to unpack (almost) all the boxes and bags.
The Internet issue is only half solved, so far we only have mobile broadband, but it only has dialup speed at best.

My studio is up and running :plotting: I am studying about different lighting setups and experimenting quite a bit. Some product shots have already been tested, but I cannot submit anything just yet (see the above mentioned Internet speed).

At least with no or little internet available I ca focus on working and studying further :) so it's not all bad.

It looks like m My boyfriend and I will be moving tomorrow, from the apartment we live in now, to a bigger place. It might will take some time to get Internet working there, so I might be away for a while. Not sure for how long. They say 2 weeks. :steaming: But I am expecting more. Hopefully I can get online from university to check messages and reply to them.

But I will have my own studio room there :) Can't wait to use it :excited:
