Well, hell has finally frozen over! I'm finally getting up off of my tail and getting a table at a convention. My first con will be the FX International show, here in Orlando, FL. I figured that starting some place close to home might be the best way to go. Not only that, but its the 20 year anniversary of the con and it looks like they are putting together one heck of a show!

Ok, so here's the real dilemma. I have to figure out what to sell and display at the con! Help me, fellow deviants! What type of stuff should i bring to the show? For those that have done this numerous of times, where should i go to get this stuff prepared (i.e. sketchbooks, prints, etc)? Any input will GREATLY be appreciated!

1. I'm partially colorblind. I have a heck of time figuring out colors and i can't see some flourescent colors, like certain types of yellow
2. I learned how to draw from watching too much tv when i was a kid and not having a life
3. I've seen Transformers: The Movie over 100 times (The REAL transformers movie that came out in the 80's. Not that Michael Bay mess that came out last year)
4. Just like amanojyaku, i love redheads too. hahaha
5. I have a crazy memory when it comes to remembering stuff from when i was a kid. Like, i can't remember someone's name that i met yesterday, but i can remember the names to every character from Challenge of the GoBots. My friends make fun of me for it, yet when they have a nostalgia question, who do they turn to?!?!
6. All of my immediate family members were born on holidays. My mom was born on Columbus day. My dad was born on President's day. My brother was born on Halloween and i was born on Groundhog's day.
7. I am deathly afraid of heights. I haven't been on a plane since i was 8, for crying out loud!
8. Every year, when i go to Megacon, i buy a Fujiko Mine statue fro Lupin the 3rd. It's almost a tradition now.
9. I'm a born and raised in Florida...in the same town even. (That might not seem like something special to some, but ask anyone if they are a Florida native AND resident. Its more rare than Bigfoot, The Lochness Monster and a WereChicken combined!
10. I'm a HUGE wrestling fan. Have been since i was about 7 years old.

It's bad enough that The Batman just ended a couple of weeks ago, but now the Legion is getting canned too? Man, what has happened to Saturday morning cartoons? I remember when i was a kid that Saturday morning cartoons on the major TV networks was an event! There were SO many to choose from over the years. You had great stuff like Captain N, Pac-Man, Dungeons and Dragons, The Real Ghostbusters, Ninja Turtles, Muppet Babies and even more obscure classics like Saturday Supercade, Galaxy High, and Raw Toonage. What happened to that? Kids are getting deprived of so much by not having an "escape" every Saturday morning. (I know, i know...they always have the networks on cable like Cartoon Network, Boomerang, Toon Disney, etc, but its still just not the same).

Man, and I was really looking forward to a killer Saturday morning cartoon line up on the major networks next year with The Spectacular Spider-man, TMNT, Wolverine and the X-men (which is moving to nicktoons apparently?), The Batman and Legion of Superheroes.
