Before I see any flames here, let me establish my point-of-view and my philosophical upbringing.

My parents are Wicca Pagan and thus they raised me with a Pagan outlook.
Both of my parents were raised as Christians despite their different Christian upbringing (My mom was Baptist & Methodist and my dad was Lutheran Christian).

In my Pagan upbringing, I learn that men & women, husbands and wives, can live with great and equal respect and love. But it is sad to see many "wifebeaters" in "actuality television" (my Best Friend and I watch "The Steve Wilkos Show") when both man & wife should respect eachother than what society thinks.

Some parts of Paganism deals with Duo-theistic aspects (which is most often an overlooked aspect compared to Monotheism and Polytheism) such as The God & Goddess (or referred to "The Lord and The Lady") as both gods are loved and respected equally.

Before anyone make any assumptions, there are some stereotypes and misconceptions I'd like to address and correct.

Some Christian: *gasp!* You Pagans are Satanics!

This is the most erroneous misconception I have ever heard. So let's define this logically.

"Satan" is mentioned in the Jewish (Satan means "The Adversary") and Christian religious texts (the Bible) as the "Christian/Jewish God of Evil".

Do you agree with this?

Good. But I am neither a Christian nor a Jewish person. You simply think anyone who is not either is automatically Satanic.

Pagans do not worship "The Christian/Jewish God of Evil" and therefore, we are NOT Satanics.

As of current, I am Agnostic in the eyes of society. I am Pagan in my upbringing and philosophy but my logical side makes me an Atheist.

I know there is no God but that "Just because I'm an Athiest doesn't mean I am incapable of love and caring".
