Oh, my high school (American) football team is in the state finals! They upset Peoria Centennial, a nationally ranked team and winners of the last two state titles. My Marcos de Niza Padres will play Friday at University of Phoenix Stadium against Scottsdale Chaparral. I really hope my school wins the title!

Edit: The game will be at Sun Devil Stadium.

The only item that I'm scared of is during the study, a doctor will come in and put a special device in my mouth. This device will measure how much constriction is in my neck, the problem area for people with sleep apnea.

First, the cough is gone. Thank goodness that's done.

Second, I had to see the doctor Tuesday for my irregular sleeping patterns. I might have to go to a sleep specialist to see if I have sleep apnia. I also had to get some cream for my ears, and just before we left the office, I had to go get an EKG because my heart rate is a bit high. The following day, my father went to the doctor for his sleep problems & nagging cough.

Today, I had to get my blood drawn. If you never had this, you have to fast for 12 hours with nothing but water. It was hard because I had heartburn, and I couldn't take any anacid. We went, and it took a while. It wasn't fun, because I have deep veins in my arms. At least I went to McDonald's for breakfast.

I don't have any plans for Halloween, but my mother wants to go out. I think I'll leave my camera for that.

Have a safe and happy Halloween.

Edit: the blu-ray drive in my computer is finally working. I was about to buy another one, and those optical drives are expensive.

I was watching the 5PM news on the local ABC station, and they did a report of Marcos de Niza high school ditching their brown jerserys to wear Pink shirts this Friday. The jerseys were donated by the Arizona Cardinals. If you're wondering, it's for breast cancer awareness. Those jerseys will be auctioned after Friday's game vs. Perry.

I don't know what to make of this. I do kinda like the brown jerseys, except for those Denver Broncos gold stripes on the sides.

Edit: Yes, I plan on going to the game and take photos, but no, I won't bid for the pink gear.

I really think the Cardinals will miss the playoffs this year. They look out of synch in the preseason, and game 1 vs. San Francisco just continued the trend. I will be shock if Arizona even gets a wildcard, since the 49ers & Seahawks improved this offseason.

My old high school, Marcos de Niza, won vs. La Joya, 42-7. I can't attend the next football game, which is across the Pheonix metro area in Surprise against Valley Vista. The next varsity home game is on a Thursday, Sept. 17, vs. Deer Valley. Dad took me to Denny's after the game.

I don't have any real plans this weekend, except I work Labor Day. I don't mind.

The Gonzo tribute must of motivated the current D-Backs, because they shut out Houston, 9-0. Mark Renyolds hit home run #40, the second D-back to hit at least 40 homers in a season. (Guess who was the other 40 homer guy. )

Then, there was a concert just beyond 2nd base with country group Montgomery Gentry. They did all their hits, a new album, and "Rock and Roll all Nite." (Kiss would not be happy. )

Finally, there was a 10-minute fireworks display. They open the roof, and shot fireworks somewhere outside. It was fun trying to take pictures.

I don't know how to beat that this week, but I'll try.

My Windows Vista class is going well. I have a small portable hard drive that I use. On the drive I can configure a Vista OS. We do live in fascinating times.

Oh, Dad is taking me to tonights Astros-D'backs game. Tonight is a special night, because the D-Backs will honor former outfielder Luis Gonzalez. Yes, he's the guy with the walkoff single in Game 7 of the 2001 World Series. I just can't imagine Luis in the current color scheme.

I only attended 1 baseball game; An Arkansas Travelers game vs. Springfield on Tuesday, July 287th. The Travelers won, 8-0, limiting the Springfield Cardinals to 1 hit. Amazing!

Thursday scared the **** out of me. The part of Mississippi had a Tornado Warning in there. (Yes, like Serena/Sailor Moon, I hate storms.)

Friday was a nice wedding at a church in Hernando, Mississippi. The reception was held near a hockey arena. (Sadly the arena was closed. )

Sunday through Tuesday my father and I were in Michigan. We stayed near Gun Lake, and the area around it was picturesque. The wedding was nice.

Oh, one last thing (not related to the wedding); I have enough money to buy a new PC! And it's about time. My current PC is just too old.

The stadium was abnormally warm. The roof was open, but it seems like the AC temperature was set too high. I had to get several Pepsi cups to keep hydrated.

And the US SOCCER team will face Brazil in the Confederations Cup final, our country's first final. Can us Yankees win again? Well, playing in a final against the always tough Brazilians is a feat, no pun intended, upon itself.

Edit: The US lost. Oh, well. I had a feeling Brazil would win.

D-backs loss, and it was ugly. Arizona committed 4 errors in the 5th & 6th inning in a 12-8 loss to the Angels.

Second, I would like to design stadiums on the computer. For a long time, I drew seating charts, those diagrams of the seating area of a stadium or arena, sans boxes or suites, on paper with pencil. But it's difficult. I would like to make diagram or maps like this:
