D'Oh!
Here's the real thing... My computer is finally broken (I need a new memory stick, a motherboard, a videocard.. wait, I need a new PC! TT~TT). Yes, it's broken and my old computer needs replacement. Other than that, membership cards are now in danger.

Why do I always have to face such misfortunes? XDDDD
Enough of the drama, as soon as I get a new computer this summer vacation, I may not be on dAmn chats coz I'll be finishing the 100+ membership cards as soon as possible. Right? But please, please, please... don't rush me with this.

Is there anything you want to do or suggest on BirthNote's 2nd birthday?

Since it's almost Christmas vacation, I decided to make the membership cards. I know, even before BirthNote was converted into the new groups system, most of BirthNote's active members are requesting and waiting for their membership cards. There will be some certain problems regarding the cards:

All previous membership cards has been removed.
If you wish to avail your membership card, you must be a member (not just a watcher).
All previous members are required to rejoin but we will not force them to rejoin if they don't want to.
The date written on your future membership card would be the date the day you joined the group as a member (not a watcher).
I know it's a little sad, but you're just one click away of becoming a member again.

All membership cards of the moderators from the Founder down to the Contributors are already up on BirthNote's gallery under the Membership Cards folder. Then I just made the first five cards of the first five members. Adding them to your favourites or downloading them is allowed. If you want to upload it to your own gallery, make sure to give the group and the creator of your card a proper credit.

#BirthNote is now an official group. Please feel free to rejoin our group, we'll be glad to see you listed under the Members section -- not under the Watchers. ^____^

Due to the immediate conversion of #BirthNote from profile account to group account, all listed members (watchers) on the previous system will be revamped. Meaning, all of them (except the members under the Members section now) will become Guests once they entered the channel. You will be able to regain your membership when you rejoin the group by simply clicking the Join This Group link. Also, the current membership cards will be removed (). We are currently sending invites to all of BirthNote's previous watchers but we are limited up to 25 pending invites. If there's an open slot, we will send another invite for those who haven't received any invite yet and hoping you'd approve.

These are the new BirthNote rules and is put into effect. Follow the rules and you will not have any problems. Remember, every members of this club is friendly, try to piss them off and you'll taste the sweetness of hell. ^^

Chatroom Rules
1. Feel free to chat and have fun.
2. If you hate this club, DO NOT join.
3. Respect everyone on the #BirthNote chatroom. Don't do unto others what you don't want others to do unto you.
4. If you are told to STOP, please stop right away. If you are warned more than twice, you will be kicked out of the chatroom or may result in an immediate ban depending on the offense you've made.
5. Spamming is allowed, but limited to five. Spamming/flooding more than 5 will result to kick/ban.
6. Keep swearing and profanity to a minimum. No discrimination and such that is personally offensive to a person and no arguing over religion or politics.
7. Speak English please.
8. NO NUDE THUMBNAILS.
9. Please, no club accounts on the chatroom.

SUBMISSIONS
BirthNote accepts all types of art and writing even if it's not related to Deathnote (e.g. food, sweets) but before submitting any, please read what you must follow below.
Please submit 2 deviations a week.
Make sure to submit the deviations to its rightful folder, otherwise the submission will be declined.
DO NOT send us the same deviation more than once.
DO NOT submit stolen artworks. All art thieves will never be banned in the chatroom but will be excluded on the member's list and will forever be a Guest.

Qualifications and Categories
Legends (M - Male | F - Female | S - Shinigami)
1. Pairings - We accept any Deathnote related character pairings. Pairing submissions falls under different sub-categories and they are as follows: MxM, FxF, MxF, SxF, SxM, and rivalry.
2. Linearts - Any Deathnote or non-Deathnote related line arts with clean lines, good quality and no color will be accepted. However if your line art is drawn in a scratch paper or notebook paper, we retain the rights to disapprove your submission.

Now I've decided to make another journal which tells about the first two How to Use of Birthnote. Basically, the rules came from Deathnote's How to Use but since Birthnote is much complicated than Deathnote, we really have to make our own rules of How to Use (though it would seem much more difficult than we ever expected).

And then, we're still thinking of what to put on the How To Use III... debating within one selves if it would be the continuation of HTU I and II or if it would be the rules when the notebook arrives at the human world blah~ but of course, we're planning on making the rules more organized than the rules of Deathnote.

We do not intend to break any company/copyright rules or whatnot...
This is only for fun... and I am a BIG FAN of Deathnote!

HOW TO USE I
1. The human name whose written in this note shall live.
2. This note will not take effect unless the writer has the person's face in their mind when writing his/her name.
3. If the cause of birth is written within 60 seconds of writing the person's name, it will happen.
4. If the cause of birth is not specified, the person will not be resurrected.
5. After writing the cause of birth, details of the birth should be written in the next 6 minutes and 60 seconds.

HOW TO USE II
1. You may also write the cause and/or details of birth prior to filling in the name of the individual. Be sure to insert the name in front of the written cause of birth.
You have about 18 days according to the human calendar in order to fill in a name.
2. The note will not take effect if the human that the writer is about to resurrect died 3 days or older.
3. In order to make the Birth Note take effect, the victim's name must be written on the same page but the cause of birth and the situation around the birth can be described in other pages of the Birth Note. This will work as long as the writer keeps the specific victim's name in the mind when writing the cause and situation of birth.
