So just a quick journal to inform everyone of what I'm going to be up to for November and December.

Now I've been searching around trying to find a Secret Santa club to participate in this year, but have been disappointed to see many of them are invite-only or are already closed to new participants. And so I think I'd rather just do my own sort of holiday gift set. The people who deserve to get some of my art are absolutely my watchers, and so here's what I'll do.

ANYBODY who reads this, anyone who would like a gift, weather that be a sketch or something more, POST HERE with a reference picture and a description of what you want! Just post it as "dear santa...", and the rest of the info.

I have no limit for slots, if it comes down to it I'll just do sketches but if I don't get many I'll probablhy put more time into each.

The news from the doctor today was that she now has a new tumor behind her eye. So, along with the one surrounding her lung.. well the doctor basically said there's nothing they can do anymore. I never thought it would end this way.

Anywho, I just had this great idea pop into my head that I wanted to share with you.
Some of you may remember (though I doubt it) my best friend who has cancer. I have one piece of art of her in my gallery now [link] . Well for graduation/making it through 2 years of fighting, she got a yorkshire terrier puppy who she named Keemo (Mo for short ). He is absolutely DARLING! And only supposed to grow to 4-5 pounds, so he's VERY tiny. Here are a few pics I snapped of him.

What I'd like to do is open a few art trades, where I would draw you whatever you like if you draw little Mo here for my friend c: Since I am terribly busy I will have to screen these, so please please please don't be offended or hurt if I don't pick you. I'd love to pick everyone but I really don't have the time. If I don't pick you but you're willing to trade with me for just a sketch, I'd be happy to do that too

It will be my first con and I'm doing everything I can to prepare, including drawing A BUM LOAD OF STUFF. The highlight of the night?

Jimmy asked if there were any couples in the crowd, so me and my Corey were quick to scream and wave our arms around. My friends joined in too, and Jimmy walked over to us. Then he said

"Hey okay, you guys are a couple then? So are you girlfriend and boyfriend, or girlfriend and girlfriend? You sure look like a nice girlfriend," (pointing to Corey)

We got on stage. I stood with Steve at his mic, Corey proceeded with being choked by Jimmy and pulled over to another mic. Steve kept telling me

"Don't touch the mic. It's mine, it's special, don't move it."

We sang Faggot. I literally almost puked, so I started spinning in circles to stop myself (weird logic, maybe) then stood and kept singing. At that point Steve started tying my shoes together. WHAT THE HELL HE TIED THEM IN LIKE 6 KNOTS.

Then the song ended, Jimmy said

"Alright now run to your lover!"

Corey ran over to me and we did a spinny-hug thing. Jimmy told us to kiss, so we did, then he told us to take it off the stage.

We jumped off the stage, ran over to the wall, and fell on the ground in a heap. WHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPENED.


Later on I went back in the crowd and ripped a piece of Jimmy's shirt off, got to talk to Steve after the show, and got signatures from Kitty, Jimmy, and Steve. They signed my shoes, which I wore to the last MSI concert as well. Also got pictures with Kitty and Jimmy, which I'll probably post here later.

I always feel a little silly crying over a fish's death, but they're just as important to me as my other pets. Suction-Cup in particular... I got him when I was 7. I'm now 17. He's been with me since I moved to a new city as a little kid, and he's been the only fish I've been so attached to I consider him my good friend.

Do I sound crazy yet? Well. The fact is, Chinese Algae Eaters have a maximum lifespan of 10 years. If he makes it to see January 1st, he will be 11 years old. I'm rooting for him, he's always been there for me.

Anywho.. MY BIRTHDAY. COMIN UP SOON. JULY 20.

I decided gifts are stupid this year, so I asked my family for donations to the local humane society. I think I might volunteer there this summer, it always makes me feel good to know I can help animals in need :3 Uhh.. and I'm in the process of getting myself a leopard gecko. My lovely lovely doll Coree bought me the tank, and I spent the last of my money on supplies.... x3 Now.. I just need the LIZARD! I am quite fond of the Mack Snow morph

I won't be getting much art done I'm sure, these emotions and feelings sap all of my energy and I just can't bring myself to draw. My contest results will be postponed, due to the fact that I haven't even attempted coming up with a good fursona design in my current state. I apologize to all waiting for prizes... I promise they will all come in time, I'm very sorry for the long wait

I don't know what I need... maybe I need a good friend who will be there, who will talk to me no matter what our relationship is like at the time... someone who genuinely cares about how I feel and how I'm doing. Who actually appreciates what I do for them. I dunno. I've isolated myself from so many of my friends, I'm practically alone right now. Or maybe I just think I am. I don't know right now, and I probably won't until my head clears up...

Maybe I'm not allowed to be happy. The few times I do things for myself, I'm told it's selfish and I should think about others first, and how my actions affect them. Well... did you guys ever notice I only do things for other people? That's probably why I'm so messed up. That's probably why I'm seeing a psychologist because I don't know how to take care of myself. That's probably why I have felt so depressed for years and have thought about killing myself before. That's why I have no self esteem and dig myself deeper and deeper into a hole of self-hate every day. I don't take care of myself because my friends are more important to me. I'm sorry, I'll try not to be so selfish next time.

Even as I write this and get angry and want to unleash it in a wave of (completely truthful and deserving) rage, I feel guilty and stop myself. I don't like critisizing my friends, they do so much for me, and I give so little in return... well that's what they tell me anyway. It's like I have two minds inside of my head, with completely opposite opinions... I'm always doubting what I say and think, even if it's coming from deep inside and I know it's true. I erase what I am about to write and replace it with the exact opposite. Just to please people/my friends? To confirm what they think is true, that I really am the selfish, messed up wrong-doer here, and that I am sorry for causing them so many problems? Maybe. Why not.

I'm getting help, I should be happy. My psychologist is great and she's very calming to be with. Though it probably takes more than just her giving me advice to fix myself... I probably need to put in a little effort. I am horrible at fixing my mistakes, I am told, yet another flaw to add to the pile... no wonder my relationship is so strained and unpleasant. Nobody should want to be with me, I am just a big heap of misery and emotional baggage. Well I am incredibly sexy at least, that's about all I've got going for me (again, "as I am told". Did I mention I have absolutely no self-esteem and wish I was born into a different body every day?). All the guys are just dying to fuck me and then leave the next morning. That'll definitely make me feel better about myself.

Haha, I realize now how sarcastic and cynical I can be. MORE FLAWS! Oh joy, this rant is turning into such an eye-opener for me! I should really just stop talking, I've probably offended multiple people and lost several friends by now. If I knew how to be a good friend, honestly, I'd be one. I'm sorry guys, it's just not a skill I have. I try my very hardest, but it goes 100% unappreciated. Trying isn't really enough, I guess.

It feels good to just write what I think and not stop to edit it. No, that's a lie, I edit lots... mostly just erasing the parts that I'm sure would get me into big fucking trouble for being an ass hole. I'm not allowed to get angry it seems, every time I even come close to it and show how I really feel, I am threatened with "fine, we're over then", or "shut the fuck up", or they simply block me on msn without warning. That's when I remember "Oh right, my opinion is always wrong and not important! Whoops, better put on my ' please forgive me, I'm begging you, I'm nothing but a cowardly worm compared to you' face". I've learned to bottle up and throw away my feelings and emotions so much for many years... it's becoming an art for me. It's all I can do to keep my friends, since nothing else I do does any good.

I agreed with Ken, the former co-owner of Evodragon.com to draw an explore map for their site. I sent Ken several previews to see my progress, and all was good. After a while I realized I didn't have time to finish the map, and stopped the project. I lost contact with Ken and all of Evodragon, and I thought matters were settled and they would find another person to do the map. I found out several months later that Tim, the other co-owner, had gone on a rampage and fired all of the staff, and angered a lot of people on it. He also fired Ken, and is now the sole owner. He then proceeded to put an editted version of a preview of my map on Evodragon.com, and not give me a single word of credit for it. I NEVER gave this preview to him, only to Ken, so this is another reason that it been taken wrongfully.

The worst part is that after this massive firing, he also bullshitted some "TOS" saying that any art on the site at that exact moment was (c) Evodragon.com, and nothing could be done about it.

THIS IS BLATANT ART THEFT. I went on MSN to ask him to SIMPLY give me credit for drawing it, and I would allow him to continue using the editted version of my art. However, he acted like an ass and refused to talk to me, saying that under these new TOS I have no ownership of my art whatsoever. I have MSN conversations to prove his words:

My boyfriend and I are taking action against them, so I'm not looking for much. I just want to spread the word to everyone NOT to work for Tim, because I don't want this sort of thing happening to anyone else.

I will be doing judging this week, so please give me some time to finalize my design ^^

THE JUDGING SYSTEM:

In case you weren't aware, the way I am judging these entries is simply by my own personal taste. This is MY fursona you are designing, so just because it may not be a design I choose, that doesn't mean it is a bad design! I am a picky person, and even if your design is gorgeous, it may not be right for me! ^^ Of course, I realize that I will not find the perfect design among all of the entries, simply because there may be some features I love, and some I dislike.

SO. What I will do instead is create a design that uses features from some of the entries, and mesh them together onto one character. This way I will have the best possible result for myself. This also ensures that there is more than just one winner!

I will decide prizes based on how much of your design I use. For example, if I use the species of animal your design has, which is unique to all the other entries, you will be judged highly for that and have one of the bigger prizes. From another entry I may take one small feature, such as eye color or a small accessory, in which case you will still receive a prize, but it will be smaller.

If NO part of your design is used by me, you will still receive a simple, unshaded chibi of a character of your choice My way of saying thanks for entering, I still loved your entry!

The post should contain your list of ten holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a ______ icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("all I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV."). The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.

1.) ART! Probably the most thoughtful and heartfelt gifts I could ever receive from you guys is art of my characters or art of something I like Because who doesn't like seeing their characters drawn in other people's unique styles? So yeah, any of my characters from anywhere would be lovely xD
2.) Art of things I like! Meaning: Death Note, Naruto, Hello Kitty, pigs, Nintendo-related things, South Park, Totoro, etc xD
3.) A note saying "Merry Christmas" or "Happy Holidays" sometime later in the holiday season x3 ! Words can mean a lot!

Alright so since I don't have very much "traffic" on this account as compared to my last one, I realize getting the word around about my contest will be difficult. And I don't feel right asking people to advertise in their journal without giving anything in return.. I dunno, it seems a bit rude of me ;_;

So. Contest time! 8D

Your Objective:
Design me a kick-ass fursona that I will love forever! Here is a description of things about me that might be helpful to include in your design:
- I'm a 16 year old girl
- I'm a punky kid, tho alot of people call me emo x(
- I'm friendly (not at all dark or scary or anything, I am a happy person!)
- I love rainbows and sunshine and nature
- I love animals (pigs, Boston Terriers, and magical horsies are my current favs)
- I LOVE video games, new and old (Nintendo supporter mostly, my fav is the N64)
- I love music and play the drums :3
- I'm very interested in foreign cultures and exploring the world, in particular I am fascinated by Japan and Japanese culture (ancient culture and pop culture)

Features To Think About:
- simple design (something memorable tho, that is easily recognizable)
- some sort of canine/maybe feline (Maned Wolf, aardwolf, fox/jackal-thing, maybe a cat, etc)
- one of the following color combinations (or a mix of several)
1: yellows
2: yellows & white
3: dark grey/black, with grey-blues or just blues
4: yellows and blacks
5: yellows and greens
NEW: cyan/turquoise mix with yellow or white
- some sort of pink accent would be lovely, but this is very optional
- light colored eyes (blue? silver-blue? green? ^^)
- white paws (unless a darker colors works better, just make sure the toes/paws are a different color)
- if hair is included, please make it a platinum-blonde type color (this kind of color [link] )
- hair clips!! fun little trinkets are good too, collar is a possibility (not prefered unless you make it look sexehhhh)
