New leinency policy is in effect in regards to the rules and so forth, so if your afraid of getting kicked/banned dont sweat it, yer safer than ever before.

We ignore all posted comments on our club page asking to join, theres a journal telling you how to join, second of all, you dont need to wait for a "reply" to be accepted into the club, its automatic once youve completed all the steps on the how to join page (Correctly) if you follow all the steps then there wont be an issue. To whom it may concern, there had been a change in classes in the main channel for the BDC, thus all members who chatted there are no longer in a group. Please, please, please do not re-do all the how to join steps and send a note to join again! Just tell a staff member which new class you want, thats it, nothing more.

On another note, it would be much appreciated if someone bought us a subscription. That way we could put some of those fancy headers in the journal instead of having to put our links in all over again and again. A subscription would also make it easier when we hold contests because of the poll feature. There would also be a shoutbox so you can make shouts to your fellow Black Dragons. So please, if you can, donate a subscription. It'd be much appreciated.

Club News

I've just finished processing all of the join and submission notes since back in March. Haha, I flooded your inboxes!

But this means that, aside from contest votes, ~Black-Dragon-Club is now back up-to-date. And that means a faster response to your notes in the future.

Speaking of notes, I'd like to address a very important point: Subject lines. When you send a note, you're given the option of adding a subject to it. This is very important when we process the notes sent to the club, because we only process one kind of note at a time. This brings up two problems:

1. If your note is improperly titled, we will not get to it until later. If you're trying to join, please set the subject to "Join". If you're trying to submit a deviation, set the subject to "Submission".
2. Since we only process one kind at a time, if you send a note with both join requests and submissions, only the join request will go through. Please put join requests and submissions in separate notes.

To help facilitate this, I've added three new links to the journal for your use when joining, submitting a deviation, or sending something contest-related. Enjoy!

Due to various things coming up, =SylverWind-Wolfenkin and ~Hallow-Oblivion have resigned from their positions, and ~ShadowBlackDragon is back as admin. We hope that things will settle down again soon.

Also, I've been working on going through the seemingly endless notes to the club. The member list has been updated again, and anybody that sent a note to the club titled "Join" or "Membership" has been added to the member list. Those who didn't title their note appropriately will probably be added this weekend. I plan to get through as many of the notes as I can this week.

Its revamping time! Things were... a bit of a mess... so a few of us have been working on ways to fix it. As you can see, weve cleaned up the journal so its now slow-isp-friendly. Follow the links to your desired destination about joining, submissions, the chat, and even who we all are. (Because of this, getting new members written up as sort of been ignored so we could clean up. If youve recently joined, dont worry! Well have you up soon!)

Were also revamping the chat system because... well, the names were a bit chaotic and out there. Staying true to the Draconomicon (thats the ultimate dragon guide for those of you who arent familiar with Dungeons and Dragons and any other Wizards of the Coast game/story/whatever) style, were changing the chat system to fit the caste system of the dragons.

Pleeeeeaase, be patient with us while we do this! Youve no idea how much organization needed to be done! Well get everything updated and going here right quick!

Be sure to read all of the steps, dont skip any. Also you dont need to wait to be approved to gain membership, as soon as your done everything, your already in, just be sure to let a staff member know what group you want (located at bottom of page)

Comments asking to join on our userpage and our journal, or notes asking to join without adding us to your +devwatch list will be ignored. you MUST follow the instructions that are given above.

To join, simply follow ALL steps listed in here.

1. DevWatch the club (Go to *Black-Dragon-Club and click "watch this deviant", or click the link to the right that says devwatch.) +devwatch

2.send a note asking to join to *Black-Dragon-Club, and put our icon in your new journals, or a link in the form of their name in your signature. The code to make deviant user links can be found at [link]

You could also put a link to the chatroom in your signature by pasting the URL(web address)

3. Let a user under "DivineDragons", "GuardianDragons" or "ArbitratorDragons" know which class you would like, be sure to say you have completed ALL the steps and remember the list of available classes are at the bottom of this journal, no one class is better than another, so go with the one you like.

Your deviations can be of serpents, nagas, wyrms, snakes, or anything like that as well as dragons. Mainly mythological and/or fictional creatures though would be welcomed, and if a creature is of your own design, and you aren't sure if it is a dragon quite, submit it, we always could use a breath of fresh creativity!

Here at the black dragon club, we pride in having an active community (of over 200 members) and chat, but what we also have is frequent contests. Right now we are looking to boost membership and stir up existing intrest, and a contest is perfect for that!
We currently have two graphic contest ideas, which are:

Anthro Dragons
This contest would be about dragons with human characteristics, or humans with dragon characteristics.

Bot must be on chat after finishing and on 24/7 during judging.
